A Very Short Lesson In Psychology That Will Make You See Behind Everyone’s Mask

The science of Psychology is something we are all – at least a little – intrigued by. It’s a doorway through the pretense and into the real.

Did you know that “Psychology” translates to ‘study of the soul’? It explains why we all find it interesting.

If you see into someone’s soul you see into the REAL version of themselves, or at least you catch a glimpse. If you master this science you get a powerful ‘magnifying glass’ that can penetrate any mask someone hides behind. That’s powerful!

Here is a really short summation of 7 psychological lessons that will help you understand others a little bit better:

  • When a person laughs too much, even on stupid things, that person is sad deep inside.
  • When a person sleeps a lot, that person is lonely.
  • When a person talks less, or really fast, that person is keeping a secret.
  • When a person can’t cry, that person is weak.
  • When a person eats in an abnormal way, that person is in tension.
  • When a person cries on little things, that person is softhearted.
  • When someone asks about you although that someone is busy, they really love you.

THIS Brilliant Comic Perfectly Captures What Meditation REALLY Is!

Everyone who tried meditating, for the first couple of times they thought that something is wrong: ‘I am doing something wrong here, this cannot be what meditation really is, my mind is more active with thoughts than ever!’

You try to relax, to calm your mind, but like a wild beast your mind get’s more restless. Your thoughts multiply. The voices inside your mind divide into 10, 20, 50… You feel like you are losing control over your mind. Like you are a spectator. And most of us give up here. We too become restless and we quit meditating. But there is a crucial KEY ELEMENT we miss here.

Take a look at this BRILLIANT comic that perfectly captures what happens while we meditate; and what happens after we accept being the spectator:

You are not your thoughts. You are the silent spectator. You have power over your thoughts, you can choose what thoughts you act upon. They are like cards dealt; you are not your cards, you play them. When you surrender to being a spectator, your thoughts lose power over you, they fade away, complete bliss shines through; and you regain your real power.

THIS One Photo of the Olympics Sums Up Everything WRONG With Society!

Global events like the 31st Olympic summer games use A LOT of money for the spectacle. Even more money go for security and other necessities so the event can be played out safely. However, looking at the bigger picture, maybe the amount of money can be spent on something else which needs A LOT more of our attention.

$4.6 billion has already been spent in creating the facilities for the 2016 summer olympics, which will be used for just two weeks, then forgotten, and when all other expenses are factored in, some $12 billion dollars will be spent on the show.

photo-olympics-everything-wrong-with-society

This photo truly is like a scene from the popular movie Hunger Games, where an insanely wealthy and oppressive world elite live in stupendous luxury amongst a world packed with second class citizens who are deliberately kept poor by the vampiric economic policies of the rich and powerful.

Thousands of people are starving just outside of view of the cameras, poor people are being violently hustled out of sight by riot police, and crimes of desperation of rocking the city, yet, in the Olympic arena, paid security is doing its part to shelter event-goers from the harsh reality of life in one of the world’s most troubled cities.

Mainstream media coverage of the events does a fabulous job of hiding reality from those of us who watch in the comfort of air-conditioned homes, restaurants and bars around the first world, but the truth is out there for those who have eyes to see. Yet, as the world faces ever-increasing troubles initiated by a global banking elite, it is becoming more and more difficult to conceal the cracks developing in society. Events like the Olympics are a wake up call to all middle class people of compassion and concern. (source)

The whole message about ‘we are one’ The Olympic Games share is beautiful. But instead of being just a message (even hypocritical in this case), it should be an example established by the same people who want the world to hear it.

Events like this are beautiful. They teach us about The Spirit of Sport, about puting humanity first, before the competition. But if the whole event stands on the pillars of everything that it’s against, than I don’t see the point in making it.

The Scientific Way On How To Be Happy Reveals EVERYTHING You Need To Know To SHINE…

Happiness is something we all long for. However, this may be the biggest mistake we start with. This treasure we all look for may be something we already have. We never open it simply because we don’t think we have the power. And most of the time, simply because we spend so much time and energy chasing it, we never really find it.

There are many factors that influence our happiness. Some are psychological, some are physical and chemical. Understanding how the feeling of happiness influences our bodies is important so we can unlock its secret.

However, researching about people who are truly happy you can never see someone who seeks happiness per se. What if, instead of seeking happiness, we seek activities that make us happy? Simply by reframing it this way we are going beyond the need to be happy. We realize that there is something beyond the happiness, the activity. And this makes a whole lot of a difference.

We don’t see happiness as an end’s goal anymore. We see it as a sign that we are on the right path. Maybe all that happiness ever was is a ‘direction sign’ a message from some emotional language that we are going in a direction that has something resonating with our truth.

Here is what science says about happiness:

Are We STUPID?! We Have Already Used Up This Year’s Supply Of Natural Resources…

When humanity’s demands on Nature’s resources exceeds its limit we call it Earth Overshoot Day It simply means that, from that moment until the end of the year, everything we’ll use from mother Nature is TOO MUCH.

Unfortunately for the Earth (and mostly for us) it’s only August, and today we reach the ‘Earth Overshoot Day’ meaning we have almost half a year of using natural resources above the safety line. How stupid and irresponsible…

IFLScience says:

“Today is a bad day for planet Earth. We’ve just reached Earth Overshoot Day, the date by which humanity has used up its yearly “allowance” of Earth’s natural resources – and it’s earlier than it has ever been before.”

“With humanity’s appetite for natural resources continuing to grow, this day is creeping up sooner and sooner each year. Last year, we used our fill by August 9, five years ago it was August 11, 10 years ago it was August 24, and 40 years ago it was November 19.”

The balance between our biocapacity and our ecological appetite had a turning point around the late 1960s. Global Footprint Network.

Even though the rate at which ‘Earth Overshoot Day’ was going backwards has slowed down the past couple of years, we need to shift its direction.

“The Paris climate agreement is the strongest statement yet about the need to drastically reduce the carbon Footprint, the largest contributor to Earth overshoot. Ultimately, collapse or stability is a choice,” Mathis Wackernagel, co-founder and CEO of Global Footprint Network, said in the statement. “We forcefully recommend nations, cities and individuals take swift, bold actions to make the Paris goals an attainable reality.”

Rio Olympics Opening Ceremony Reminds The World That Climate Change Is VERY Real And VERY Serious!

We tend to forget that each and every single action has a reaction. The fact that we dig up buried carbon and release it upon the atmosphere has a big impact on the world. We are conflicting the Natural balance because we want to power the engines of our machines with fossil fuel.

Now there is conspiracy and there is science. There is common sense and common logic that you can apply and test this for yourself. Just look at the charts of the temperature. They start to increase drastically EXACTLY when fossil fuel is firstly introduced to the world. Almost 99% of the scientists support this and they are not the types of people who agree with each other on most things.

The opening ceremony in Rio was nothing REALLY special but it had a beautiful message. We are born with nothing and we die with nothing, why don’t we make the time we are here filled with love, friendship and happiness. Why there is so much greed? Along this beautiful message they focused on honoring mother Earth and how we can improve the way we live on it. They reminded the world that climate change is very real and very serious by showing this video:

With part of the opening ceremony for the Rio Olympics focused on our planet, organizers found a way for athletes to leave their mark. As they entered the stadium, each received a seed and a cartridge to plant a native tree of Brazil. There were 207 species represented – one for each country in the Games. (source)

There will be an Olympic Tree growing created from the seeds of all contestants, formed by 207 different species each representing a country. Now this is a powerful metaphor we can learn from as human beings! ONE TREE uniting us all!
