Mental Biases Encyclopedia | All the tricks your mind pulls on you

Mental biases are evolutionary programs created by our mind with intent to save energy and improve efficiency in constructing beliefs, making decisions, thinking and giving a model to the world.

There are over 200 known cognitive biases that are proven. The 4 main categories of mental biases are:

  1. Mental biases created when we need to act fast.
  2. Mental biases made to filter out what we should remember.
  3. Mental biases activated when there is not enough meaning to fill up the gaps.
  4. Mental biases that help us when there is too much information to process.
