While you are attempting to lose your weight, you must have a grip upon your eating habits, especially when it comes to the effectiveness of your rule.

1. Eat 3 times per day.

Just having a routine of eating it will keep you in check to avoid overeating or binge eating.

The right amount of meals per day should be 3, one big meal in the morning, one medium lunch and one tiny but nutrient dinner.

You can have snacks during the day but try not to use them as an excuse to eat something unhealthy.

2. Eat nuts as snacks.

A good snack doesn’t have to mean unhealthy processed food. You can eat some nuts and they will satisfy your tummy until your next meal.

3. Drink plenty of water.

You should drink at least 2 litters of water per day. This will keep you full. And it will control your appetite.

Also, if you drink 30 minutes before the meal, you will make just enough room for your food to avoid overeating.

And this water that you drink before the meal will act as aid in the digestive process.

4. Wait 20 minutes.

When you get the urge to eat something, just wait for 20 minutes. If you still have the urge after that, it means that you are really hungry. If not, than it was just an emotional compulsion.

5. Deal with the underlying emotion.

When we get the urge to eat it’s usually out of boredom or anxiety. When you are hungry you know, your body asks to be fed, it asks for nutrients. and calories.

But when you are stressed, anxious, sad or bored you eat out of compulsion to avoid or replace that emotion. So every time you get an urge to eat just check up with yourself. Is it out of hunger, or is it something else?

6. Take supplements.

There are many supplements that lift the mood and act as appetite suppressors. However, this is the last option you should consider because it might not be healthy.

Two of the best substrates that are used for this purpose are the BHB, and BioOneGen Keto Shred, that is good is forcing the body into the Ketosis state, while helping you burn out all of your unwanted fats.

BioOneGen Keto is one of the supplements that started as a start up and got really good traction. And it contains BHB, which forces the body into a constant state of Ketosis, helping you burn fat for energy instead of carbs.

It helps to control your eating habits by stimulating the production of enzymes that suppress cravings for some specific types of foods.

Make sure that before using any kind of weight reducing supplements and doing exercises, to consult and confirm it with your doctor first.

It is paramount to set your health goals because these goals will help you reach your destination easily.

If you have some goals in life, you will always do your hard to achieve them. Therefore, create health goals and always keep on motivating yourself to accomplish them.

what-is-a-male-dog-called-good-for-you

1. You have a loyal friend.

They say that a dog is one of the most loyal friends for a human. And that’s not false.

Almost any pet that you keep can become a friend figure, but a dog is one step ahead.

There’s just something about dogs, their loyalty and honest love they have for their owners just makes them a true best friend.

2. You practice responsibility.

Keeping a pet is not easy. It’s almost like a child that you need to take care of every day. To feed it, to walk it, to play with it, to take care of it if it gets sick. But that trains you to build responsibility.

3. It puts you into a Play mindset.

No matter how tough it is at work, when you come home and your pet excitingly waits for you, that stress fades away. And you start playing. And before you know it, you are in that Play Mindset.

This mindset is great help in people with depression as Play is one of the main activities that gets people out of depression. It’s also a mindset where one of the most creative ideas can be found.

4. There are countless health benefits of petting it.

It has been proven that dog owners have healthier hearts. This is because they need to walk their pets and that’s a healthy activity for the organ.

But not just that, petting your dog is therapeutic. It reduces stress and improves the mood. Children who grew up in families with dogs are reported to have bigger and stronger immune system. There are many other health benefits.

5. Massive laughter.

Everyone who ever had a pet can agree that spending time with it is just a big pile of laughs. Every time they discover something new, or try something different, they act in such ways that you cannot help but take your camera and film them. Why do you think there are so many pet videos? Because almost everything pets do is hilarious.

Ok, so we established why having a pet is good for you. Now, let’s get back at the origin of the word dog and all the different terms that are used.

History Of The Word Dog:

The origin of this word is a mystery. It is believed that the word originated from the old English word docga, which means powerful or strong.

This word was used in the 1500s to describe a specific mastiff type breed of dogs.

But before the 1500s, dogs were commonly called hounds, which came from the German word hund. The term hund is masculine, whereas hundin is the female version.

Male dogs were generally the default, the females required a different name.

Cur was used for male dogs in general. But the use of the word eventually subsided as it carried an offensive sense to men.

The word sounded like a curse, and therefore, people did not like to use it.

Just like the word bitch which is the technical term for a female dog. But due to the sociolinguistic development of the word, it now has a negative sense attached to it.

If someone uses the word, people think of it as a curse instead of a pet. And due to the stigma, nobody calls the female dogs by this name anymore.

You should know that in a professional breeding community, a group of puppies is called a litter.

The male dog that is the father of a litter is called a sire. If you read the pedigree of a dog, you will see professional terms being used, such as stud dog or sire however there are many dog names out there.

The female dog that is the mother of the litter is called a dam. A female dog that has not given birth to a litter is called a bitch or a female dog.

So if you are interested in getting yourself a pet, now you know all the terms and the culture behind it.

If you still consider it, than our advice to you is to just do it. Get yourself a pet. If you feel you are capable to take care of it, do not wait.

You will make its life beautiful and it will give you many benefits as we addressed here.

Is Sriracha Sauce Considered Keto Friendly

Sriracha sauce is one of those sauces that goes with typically anything.

But, while on Keto, you want to be sure if you can use it regularly and if it affects your diet.

Sriracha sauce, when used in moderation, is keto friendly and can be used when following a ketogenic diet.

Can You Have Sriracha Sauce While on Keto?

sriracha-sauce-keto-friendly

The short answer is, it depends.

One of the things you have to keep in mind while on Keto is the number of carbs you have each day.

If you are mindful of the net carbs for the day and use Sriracha sauce in moderation, you can enjoy it.

It is considered keto friendly, however, it has some carbohydrates, sometimes coming in the form of sugar.

On this note, you only need to take a little of it per day to stay within your carb limit. As long as you stay within your carb limit for the day, spicing up your food with Sriracha sauce does not harm.

Ultimately, if you still run on a calorie deficit, there is nothing to worry about with Sriracha sauce.

How Many Carbs are in Sriracha Sauce?

As mentioned, Sriracha sauce has a significant amount of carbs.

Therefore, it is essential to understand how it might affect your daily intake of carbs while on a keto diet.

One teaspoon, about 5 grams of the sauce, has one net carb.

Therefore, if you take five teaspoons of the sauce on a typical day, then you will have accounted for 5 grams of your carbs that day.

Most people, while on Keto stay within 20 to 50 grams of carbs every day. As long as you stay within your carb limit, you can enjoy a few teaspoons of Sriracha sauce without worrying about additional calories.

Remember, Sriracha sauce is not entirely carb free and has some sugar in it.

While you might find sugar as one of the ingredients on the pack, it comes in small amounts that do not count in the big scheme of things.

The little sugar in the sauce has little or no effect on your ketogenic diet as long as you stay within your carb limit.

How to Use Sriracha Sauce While On Keto?

If you are starting to use the sauce, it is essential you understand how to use it properly to ensure you follow your Keto diet to the core.

The most common way of using Sriracha sauce is as a dipping sauce. On its own, the sauce can add flavor to various dishes such as chicken and steak.

You can drizzle a few drops of Sriracha sauce on eggs as an alternative to ketchup.

If you enjoy low carb soups, you can add Sriracha sauce to improve flavors and textures.

You can also use it as a side sauce for tuna and other fish dishes for a sweet and spicy flavor.

Sriracha sauce can be a useful condiment while on Keto.

But, you have to use it in moderation as it has some sugar. It is a versatile sauce and can spice up a variety of meals.

Is Fish Sauce Considered Keto Friendly

Fish sauce is a common condiment for many dishes, especially in Southeast Asian Countries.

The sauce is tangy, savory yet delicious, and makes a perfect addition to different meals.

But is it Keto friendly?

Fish sauce has a low amount of carbohydrates, making it one of the few keto friendly sauces.

However, it is essential to note that fish sauces from some restaurants, especially in Vietnam, have added sugars. In this case, the sauce seizes to be keto friendly.

Can You Have Fish Sauce while on Keto?

fish-sauce-keto-friendly

The straight answer to this is yes.

You can enjoy a dash of fish sauce while on a ketogenic diet.

It is considered a low carb condiment and, when used in moderation, has no significant effect on your diet.

However, as mentioned, be wary of fish sauce from Asian restaurants as most have added sugars.

Fish sauce goes by different names in different parts of the world but the process of making it remains the same.

It is made by fermenting fish for a specific period and straining the liquid that comes from the process.

Is Fish Sauce Low Carb?

It is essential to understand the numbers and ascertain how many carbs are in the sauce.

For example, one tablespoon of fish sauce, roughly 18 grams, has only 0.7 grams of carbs.

This is considerably low compared to most sauces making this sauce one of the few low carb options.

While on a ketogenic diet, it is recommended you stay within 20 to 50 grams of carbs to maintain consistent ketosis.

Depending on your limit, you can choose what to eat and what to leave. For example, if you are on 20 grams of carbs per day, eating foods with over 10 grams of carbs might not be a smart move.

Therefore, what makes it to your plates depends on your budget carbs. Also, are you on weight loss supplements such as keto blast?

These will determine how far you can go with choosing what to eat and what to leave.

How to use Fish Sauce while on Keto?

Well, now that you know fish sauce is a great low carb option, how do you use it?

One of the easiest ways to use it is adding to chicken stock, beef stock, or bone broth to add more flavor and make them more palatable.

You can also use fish sauce as a dressing on salads for a tangy, sour taste.

You only need a few drops in your vinaigrette or other types of salad dressings that you like.

If you enjoy fatty cuts of meat, you can use fish sauce for additional flavor when braising, frying, or roasting.

Other ways to use fish sauce is by adding it to sautéed vegetables, pre fry marinades, pickles, dipping sauces, and eggs.

Fish sauce is a versatile condiment to use in your meals without worrying about the extra carbs most sauces have.

However, you ought to be careful when selecting the brand as some have added sugar.

With plain, pure fish sauce, you can spice up a variety of meals for bold flavors.

Sleep aids or more commonly known as sleeping pills, are sedative or drugs whose function is to induce sleep in the human body.

These drugs include various hypnotics that increase the drowsiness and help fall asleep.

Some people also go for more natural products such as ginseng, melatonin supplements, or Alpha Lion Superhuman Sleep, a supplement our editor used to take when they struggled with insomnia, as it offers multiple benefits along with a sound sleep.

He found it effective for him, saying it does not only it promotes REM sleep but also supports fat loss, muscle gain, helps in eliminating soreness after prolonged workouts.

The more common choices of sleeping aids that are being used to treat insomnia are, Diphenhydramine, Benzodiazepines, Silenor, Desyrel, and many more. These are over the counter sleep aids and are available widely.

Now, certainly the duration of the full effects these pills allow and induce a deep sleep, varies person to person.

It is subjected to the sensitivity of an individual towards the drugs that person intake. As well as, the type of drug that particular sleep aid comprises of and is being processed by the body.

Some drugs have stronger effects and can induce sleep for a longer period. For example, the sleep aid having Diphenhydramine may offer a sound sleep for about 4 to 6 hours. The drowsiness afterwards may last longer.

Just like this, some drugs may offer a good sleep for 6 to 8 hours. Whereas some other such as, Benzodiazepines may offer up to 12 hours.

What are The Risks of Sleep Aids:

While people long for sufficient quality sleep daily, they often ignore the side effects these temporary sleep inducing aids may leave on to the body.

Although, some pills such as the Melatonin ones, they are known to exit your system quickly and hence are not habit forming.

On the other hand, there are some stronger sleep aids which, if taken in bulk quantities can be very addictive.

There are other side effects apart from dependency, that are dangerous and can’t be ignored.

There are risks of problems with your memory, if overdosed some of these pills maybe fatal, can have interference in normal breathing, cause constipation or diarrhea, daytime drowsiness, headaches, dry throats or mouth, constant weakness, stomach aches, or may even cause allergies etc.

People have gotten so used to taking these medications that they are unable to understand how harmful they might be. You must know and understand that even the best sleep aids have some kind of side effects.

Sleep aids can help, but although they are a good short term solution, they can’t completely cure the sleeping problem.

The 4 Phantom Habits You Have That are Depleting Your Body’s Energy Supply

Have you ever sat at home or at work and just felt mentally and physically drained for no apparent reason?

This is an occurrence that’s actually more common than you may realize.

On a day to day basis, we engage in routine daily activities.

But, what we don’t realize is that some of those habits are the biggest drainers of our body’s natural energy supply.

But what are they?

If you really sit back and think, you’ll be able to figure out at least a few things that are draining you of your energy.

But then again, there are those phantom habits you have that are draining you of your energy and you do not even know it.

The goal of this article is to simply make you more aware of your energy draining habits so that you can work to reduce or eliminate them.

Take a look at these phantom habits that you may not realize you have.

4 Phantom Habits That are Depleting Your Body’s Energy Supply:

phantom-habits-that-are-depleting-your-bodys-energy-supply

1. Trying to Be Something or Someone You’re Not.

This is an energy drainer that you either don’t realize you’re doing or don’t want to admit you’re doing.

True enough, imitation is the biggest form of flattery but if your imitation turns into obsession, it will then become a huge drainer of your energy.

Why else do you think people say to be yourself?

Because it’s much easier and less stressful.

Being yourself takes no extra energy of being, you just take away everything you are not.

You do less.

Pretending to be someone else however, that takes huge amount of energy because you have to create and maintain that persona on top of yours.

If you don’t have the financial means to go shopping or brunching with friends every weekend, it’s okay to say no to invitations.

That doesn’t make you a bad friend, it just means you’re acting your wage.

Spending too much of your time on social media can also drain you of your energy because you can start comparing with everyone you see on there. That’s when it’s time for a digital detox.

2. Holding Grudges.

Holding on to wrongdoings from others is one of the biggest energy drainers there is.

If a particular person’s name comes up, and you immediately go back in your mind to the time they did something wrong to you, it’s a telltale sign that you haven’t moved forward and are still holding on to a grudge from it.

Letting go of a grudge isn’t an easy task by any means but it certainly weighs a lot heavier on you to hold on to it than to let it go.

So, just let it go. Do not forget the lesson, but release the energy that drains you.

3. Negative Thinking.

With negative thinking, you never see the good in most things and people don’t like being around that or hearing that.

When people tell you good news, you more than likely can always find bad in it. Don’t be like that.

Just because you may be having a bad day doesn’t mean you have to shoot down someone else’s good day.

But also, that mindset it’s draining your energy, it’s keeping it in low levels, so it’s also bad for you.

Instead, make a habit of thinking of at least three things you are thankful for, for one negative.

That way you will use negative thinking as a trigger for positive thinking. Just 21 days of that and you will rewire your brain to think more positive by default.

4. Thinking About Work.

If you’re someone who can’t leave work at work, and instead carry work home with you, you better believe that it’s going to suck up all the energy you have.

At this time during a pandemic when working from home might become a default, it’s much harder to differentiate between work and home.

Your home is supposed to be your safe haven, your place of peace. But if you’ve mentally transformed it into your job away from your job, you’re going to continuously feel drained of energy.

Think about it. Your job tells you to leave your home issues at home, so why can’t you have the same frame of mind in leaving your work issues at work?

Not thinking about work outside the office is something you have to work hard to do, and will require you to set your focus on other things.

If you work remotely from home try to create a special place for work, and when you finish leave that place. Changing your environment to focus on something new is a great start.

Although there are numerous things you can be doing that drain your energy there are also ways to boost your energy.

For example, a green juice cleanse drastically improves energy levels without you even thinking about reaching for a caffeinated beverage.

Or exercise, meditation, healthy diet, being honest, walking, being among nature, breathing fresh air, quality sleep, quality time with family.

All of these things, if done right of course, can boost your energy levels significantly.

How to Use This Article?

👉 Step 1. Evaluate what of these 4 habits you do.

👉 Step 2. Make a list of all habits you do and how much energy they give or take.

👉 Step 3. Get rid of the 4 habits that take most of your energy away from you.

All the knowledge on the planet will not help you if you do not take action.

The 4 Most Important things to think about when contemplating home education

Deciding on home education for your child is not something that you will take lightly.

There are many aspects that it is imperative to consider before settling on it one way or another.

Of course, first you and your kids should discuss about the pros and cons. They should be the ones who prefer home education at the end of the day.

And in times of a pandemic where most schooling is done from home, there are several things you should keep in mind.

That’s why we will reveal to you the 4 main things you should consider as a parent when thinking about home education for your kids.

4 Most Important Things to Think About when You Consider Home Education:

most-important-things-to-think-about-when-contemplating-home-education

1. Socializing.

One of the biggest concerns for parents when they opt to home educate relates to ensuring their child will still socialize.

Socializing is one of our basic needs as humans to develop in mentally healthy individuals.

It is intrinsic quality that will enable the person to play a positive role in society.

So think about way how your kid will get the necessary amount of socializing that other children get when they go to school.

If you know a network of local homeschoolers or you have friends whose children would be willing to spend time with yours regularly, you probably ought not to worry.

There will always be opportunities to spend time with their peers, just not within the typical school setting.

2. Curriculum.

Depending on your own educational philosophy, you may or may not wish to follow a standard curriculum.

Learning about the civil war does not have to be done using a textbook.

Field trips to museums, re enacting scenes and role play linked to the thoughts and feelings of key figures within that period of history can easily be done to motivate and encourage children to learn outside of a school setting.

The curriculum that most children learn does not have to be as rigid as some schools make it, and so you may wish to base your homeschooling around it. Alternatively, you may prefer to go with your child’s interests and learn about whatever they would like.

3. Resources.

The thought of ensuring that you have resources to teach whatever curriculum you decide to follow can be somewhat overwhelming.

There is a wealth of teacher created and home educator created lesson plans, worksheets, videos, flashcards and so on available readily online.

However, when your children are younger, you may find it much easier to buy good quality, ready made early learning resources to stimulate and motivate.

Don’t forget that resources do not actually have to be purely things you can use within your home. Home education is not restricted to your property. Use the great outdoors.

For example, if you are learning division, use leaves or chestnuts to do so. For art, head to your local gallery.

Physical education can be done by spending time in a local climbing center or running in the park. The only limitations really lie with your own imagination.

4. Cost.

Although your imagination may be the only limitation to working out how you want to teach and therefore resource the education you are providing for your children, the cost of home educating must also be a consideration.

You should plan out all the costs and see if you can manage to provide that as a family.

For single parent families or those on a low income, it might be a little trickier.

There are many groups that you can join, such as Spanish classes or drama for those home educating, which also come at a cost.

Do your research fully before committing. But first, discuss with your children and hear their opinion.
