How A 70 Year Old Woman Who Went Sugar Free 28 Years Ago Looks Like Today

Carolyn Hartz gave up eating processed sugar almost 30 years ago after years of being ‘addicted’ to sweets.70 Year Old Woman Sugar Free 6

Today she boasts a bikini body and glowing complexion that many people who are decades younger than her dream of having.

But she believes that in order to get what you want you need to take the appropriate action.

She even thinks that 50 years is not that much, to start making a positive change for your life.70 Year Old Woman Sugar Free 2

“A lot of women post 50 think that it’s not possible to maintain a reasonable shape and weight when they reach 50 or beyond,” the SweetLife founder told Daily Mail Australia.

Mrs Hartz, who is 70, says “while it may be ‘a little more difficult’ to stay in shape for women post 40, it can still be possible if you really want to work at it”.

“We know our metabolism slows down as we get older it just means we have to take control and make healthier choices and work a little harder,” she said.

“I believe it is very important to be aware of the type of food you eat and the quantity of food you eat. Being mindful while you are eating is a huge factor.

Mindless eating can lead to unnecessary weight gain. I say to my customers ‘taste and enjoy every mouthful’… it will help you slow down and you will be less likely to overeat.”

Mrs Hartz said the first two tips for women hoping to look their best are to do with their attitude and diet.70 Year Old Woman Sugar Free 4

She strongly believes that having a positive and playful outlook is a really important factor for aging like her.

The other factor she believes is one the most important changes she ever made, is being sugar free.

“I have been sugar free for 28 years. It was difficult at first as I was a sugar addict but I believe it is one of the most important reasons I have been able to keep myself healthy and keep my body shape.

I make sure I eat protein with every meal especially breakfast. It stops the cravings.” She says.

Mrs Hartz also urges people to never deprive themselves of the food and drinks they love but to be careful of “portion size”.70 Year Old Woman Sugar Free 5

Sleep is also crucial, with Mrs Hartz trying to sleep for at least eight hours every night.

Meditation and gratitude are two thinks Mrs Hartz credits to her incredible health.

Mrs Hartz has been following the same skincare regime since she was 17 years old. She has some helpful beauty tips for women. She says:

“I never go to bed without cleansing and removing my make-up and I moisturise every night especially around the eyes and neck,

I wear sunscreen everyday under my makeup and never sun bake. I am very aware of the damaging effects of the sun and I had this reminder when I had a cancer removed from my nose when I was only 30.”

The one most important advice Mrs Hartz has for women is to never compare themselves to others!70 Year Old Woman Sugar Free 3

“Be aware of what you like about them and let them inspire you but we are all individuals and we all have our own special traits…

Be happy for your friends successes, enjoy them together. Never be jealous or resentful, both are wasted emotions and only hurt your wellbeing.

Be happy for everyone and never worry about your age,” she said.

For people in their 20s and 30s, Mrs Hartz advises them to live life to the absolute fullest.70 Year Old Woman Sugar Free 7

“Don’t listen to the naysayers, be your own person. Attitude is your most important asset. Life is not perfect, accept this and grab it with both hands.”

The Main Difference Between Psychopaths, Sociopaths And Narcissists

0

We hear the words ‘psychopath’, ‘sociopath’, and ‘narcissist’, liberally thrown around in the media and in movies these days.

While the usage has become very common, each of these terms defines a set of characteristics of that particular trait.

For example, hyperactive or restless and fidgety people are often dubbed psychopath, sociopath, or narcissist, but none of them applies to them just because of that habit. And yes, there are some features common to all three, but also some clearly defining differences as well.

This is the main difference between Psychopaths, Sociopaths and Narcissists:Psychopaths, Sociopaths And Narcissists

One thing most agreed upon is that all three personality types have the ability to be very charming and beguiling. They also tend to be very self indulgent and vain. Psychopaths most of all, have a trait that lends itself to disguise very well.

The Psychopath

Psychopaths are always inherently deceptive. They appear warm, friendly, and inviting. They are usually confident and are skilled in manipulation, and so end up holding positions of some authority and sometimes office.

Their mental prowess is often on par with their interpersonal skills, but all this is always a facade. Beneath the thin veneer of normalcy, psychopaths tend to be deeply antisocial and lack empathy up to a disturbing degree.

What makes them dangerous is their lack of inhibition stemming from this lack of emotional resonance. A few theories state that the psychopath tendency comes from a lack of development in areas of the brain related to empathy and identifying with people around us.

Psychopaths are also most likely to be dangerous to people around them, because of this very lack of inhibition, and cold and detached air.

The Sociopath

Sociopaths are easier fish, to some extent.

Sociopaths cannot disguise themselves as well as psychopaths do, and their antisocial behavior is their most defining characteristic. They tend to suffer from social anxiety, because of deep rooted ‘not fitting in’ fears which actualize themselves.

A common trend is that they eschew higher education, choosing to opt for technical or vocational careers where they can earn a livelihood and not have too much social interaction. Some of them live on the fringes of society, or go almost uneducated altogether.

People around them tend to recognize their discomfort and uneasiness. However, a difference remains that crimes by sociopaths tend to be crimes of passion and impulse, unlike psychopaths, who will happily plan a killing spree, without seeing ‘what’s wrong about that’.

The Narcissist

Now Narcissists, are the very epitome of shallow and vain. Their entire universe revolves only around them and their indulgences, and they often demand that everyone close to them revolve around their needs and wants, too.

The legend of Narcissus is of a Greek man who saw his reflection in a pond and fell in love with his own reflection, eventually drowning in the pool.

These people also have the ability to be very charming and appealing, but of all three types, narcissists tend to be the most emotionally toxic for the people in their lives.

Narcissists are extremely manipulative, using guilt and love and jealousy in measured amounts to make sure that they remain the centre of attention and affection. Their partners and parents or children often have no idea how deeply they have been manipulated, or abused.

So what unites all three personality types? The Main Difference Between Psychopaths Sociopaths And Narcissists

For one, their lack of true human connection.

Of all three, sociopaths are the most emotionally stunted, but still capable of a honest attachment, in rare cases. Psychopaths and narcissists are always on an ‘agenda’, so to speak, for their own betterment.

They all also have low inhibition and unstable tempers, and quick to perceive insults to themselves.

An important thing to remember is that there are variants among these three types as well.

For example, there are sociopaths who are socially outgoing, and psychopaths who recognize their own harmful tendency and seek to control it. There are also narcissists who know their behavior affects those around them, but in a lot of cases, the guilt makes their personality more unstable, rather than less.

These Are The 10 Stages Of Awakening Each Person Has To Go Through Before Achieving Enlightenment…

0

Awakened souls tend to attract each other immediately. It’s easier for them to recognize the vibration of each other during encounters.

If you’re one of these awakened individuals, you quickly notice other awakened souls almost in all places. Some are fully awakened, while others are just starting their own awakening process.

When you notice that others are struggling with their own process, it is your duty to guide them through it.

How does the awakening process work?

Awakening is a continuous process, but there are common occurrences or checkpoints that take place. These events slowly transform a person’s life.

To get a full grasp of the awakening process, you have to understand it in its entirety.

If You’re On Your Journey of Awakening, You Have to Go Through These 10 Stages:The 10 Stages Of Awakening

Stage 1: Restlessness

Restlessness starts to envelop your soul. You feel frustrated and despondent by how your life goes. You feel that something in it has gone haywire. There is that burning desire within to make some changes and take your life back. The idea that your life is your own responsibility starts to come out. You do everything to take it back into your own hands.

You realize that your own happiness is not dependent on people or any external circumstances. Your intention to get your power back, activates your energy, your chakras, and your soul. Awakening has begun the moment you open your eyes.

Stage 2: Epiphany

You begin to see life in a different light. You start to experience ecstatic emotions like bliss, euphoria, and freedom. But despite all this, pain is still present.

The emotions surrounding your past confront you. You begin to ask how you have chosen to live your life. You start to question and challenge everything.

Stage 3: Push and Pull

There is an onset of a tug of war. You are in a dilemma between closing your eyes and opening it. Fear slowly creeps within you. All because you’re not prepared for the consequences should you move forward to the path of awakening. The leap into the unknown is far too scary when coupled with the crumbling of things all around you. Everything starts to be meaningless: your life, your beliefs. You seem to get stuck and bewildered.

You begin to notice that you are walking on shaky grounds that may explode anytime. This is a critical moment because those who continue along this path transform, those who don’t go back to sleep.

Stage 4: Darkness

Everything around you starts to collapse, you find yourself in the dark. But you need to be in the dark to understand more of the light. The state of the world may disturb you: poverty, greed, and even the state of the environment. You wonder why this happened.

The feeling of depression leads you to wonder how you’re going to blend with the society. The desire to be alone, to be with nature, and to be a hermit burn inside you. You feel alone and lost because no one understands what you’re going through. You have nothing to cling to except to seek the answer to this question: “Who Am I?”

Stage 5: Connectedness

You feel that there is no need to change the world. You may change it by changing yourself. You slowly feel the connectedness between you and the world.

Your focus shifts to love and gratitude. You have the urge to research and study spirituality and all things metaphysical. You follow that urges. Your perception of the world changes and you realize you are sent to Earth for a higher purpose.

Stage 6: Synchronicity

You appreciate the interconnectedness of everything: nature, animals, the stars. You feel you are a part of the universe. As your consciousness expands, you start to see the world more deeply and more connected.

With the broadening of your intuition and psychic abilities, the equality and oneness of all things are more plain to you. Synchronicity starts to manifest in your life. You realize that what shapes your reality are your thoughts, emotions, and feelings. You slowly start to shift and change your lifestyle to support this.

Stage 7: Self Authenticity

With this new state of awareness, you feel you are one with the universe. You get more clarity of your purpose. The tangible things you see no longer matter to you. You fix your focus on the greater power of energy and intention.

Your true, authentic self starts to emerge. This authentic self is what walks you towards your higher purpose. And your higher purpose is to share your authentic self with the world.

Stage 8: Higher Consciousness

When you find your alignment with your true, authentic self, ideas begin to fill your mind drastically. You attract abundance through your ideas and creations. Inspiration takes place. You begin to see your destiny more clearly as things start to unfold.

Your life starts to transform. Your experiences and the people around you reflect your state of higher consciousness. The challenges along the way no longer baffle you because you are fully equipped emotionally and spiritually.

Stage 9: Co-creation

As you continue your journey, you realize that you co-create with the Divine. Things get better, bigger, and have more flow when you surrender and work with the Divine. You feel the guidance while you create alongside with the Source energy.

You start to connect with your spirit guides, guardian angels, or your higher self. Your intuition and psychic gifts develop even stronger.

Stage 10: Unconditional Love

You start to be in alignment with unconditional love as your work alongside the Divine progress. You feel you are love, radiate love and feel love. It becomes clear to you that this life is temporary. And it is given to you to experience and enjoy.

You come to understand that the whole awakening process is to make your life easier, more peaceful and a lot secure.

If these stages resonate with you, then you are well on your way to your awakening.

14 Signs You Are Highly Perceptive To The Subtle Energies Around You…

Science recently proved something that mystics have known for centuries, the reality we are able to perceive is only a tiny piece of what is out there.

Matter and the physical world, everything ever observed and touched, adds up to less than 5% of The Universe according to science. So we are literally blind, with our 5 basic senses, to more than 95% of all there is!

Mystics have known this fact through their intuitive knowledge for centuries. They are aware that there are subtle energies, all around us, that have a significant impact.

Why do some people perceive these subtle energies?Highly Perceptive To Subtle Energies Around You...

Humans started looking at the world through a more scientific spectrum negating everything that cannot be observed or proved by it, even though most that can be observed and proved by science is less than 5% from all there is.

But reality is much bigger and much different from what we can observe!

Animals live by trusting their natural sense of these energies. Most living beings are born with the ability to sense these subtle energies.

We have senses for these subtle energies, however, most of us never learned how to use and trust them.

Some people are born with these ‘mystic’ senses being highly active. But because other people around them have atrophied their natural sense for subtle energies, these people think there is something wrong with them being affected by things they “cannot” perceive.

If you experience any of these 14 things than you have a highly active ‘mystic’ sense.

14 signs you are highly perceptive to subtle energies around you:Signs You Are Highly Perceptive To Subtle Energies Around You

1. You do not open up to many people, and it’s hard for you to truly trust others.

2. There are moments when, all of a sudden, you lose your positive energy and you feel tired while interacting with others.

3. You overthink things.

4. You crave intimacy with others, but you rarely allow yourself to get close with someone.

5. You can sense the energy in a room and feel if something bad happened, or if the people are having happy emotions, even if you are blind. You often know things you have no proof of.

6. You are highly anxious but you’ve learned how to keep that anxiety under control.

7. Whenever you are walking in Nature you feel most safe and at home.

8. You experience Deja Vu more often than others.

9. You have a natural talent for psychology and understanding psychological concepts.

10. There were many times when you sense that there is something not right about someone and most of the time your sense turned out to be right.

11. You are often there for others at the right time without even consciously knowing that they need your help.

12. You always find patterns between things people don’t usually make connection of and you look at things on a more energetic level.

13. You have naturally high frequency, you tend to spread positivity and instinctively avoid energy vampires.

14. You recharge on sunshine, wind, looking at a deep scenery of mountains, lying on the beach, and swimming or dipping in big, natural bodies of water.

The second wave occurred on May 15, 2017

Mysterious Wave Of Energy Is Beaming Out Of Antarctica These Past Couple Of Days 2

And on May 26, 2017 just a couple of days ago MIMIC caught a third mysterious wave beaming out of that region.

BREAKING Mysterious Wave Of Energy Is Beaming Out Of Antarctica These Past Couple Of Days

If you make a line down into Antarctica, the path of the wave anomaly crosses the mysterious Princess Elisabeth Station which is situated at the base of pyramid structures.

Princess Elisabeth Station

This leaves us to guess if the wave anomalies are coming from this station or from an unknown source near the station. But one thing is for sure, something in that area is creating this anomaly which they shooting out into the Pacific Ocean.

More specific, this anomaly is directed straight over or close to the Cascadia Subduction Zone. Although The Cascadia Subduction Zone has not produced an earthquake since 1700 it is building up pressure where the Juan de Fuca Plate is subsiding underneath the North American plate.

Scientists are predicting that there is about a 40 percent chance that a megathrust earthquake of 9.0+ Magnitude in this fault zone will occur in the years ahead.

Currently there is no proof but it looks like someone or something at Antarctica is manipulating or altering the weather in the Pacific Ocean region for whatever reason.

Video below shows the latest wave anomaly caught on May 26, 2017

How To Read Other People’s Energy

For some, reading people accurately is a gift they already possess. For others, it is something that needs a little calibration.

Reading other people’s energy requires connection with your own emotional self as well as Emotional Intelligence and trusting your emotions.

Emotional intelligence is something which we grew up learning to strengthen, or to stunt. If you were told not to cry as a child, or taught to negate your own emotions with responses like “I’m fine,” you are prone to be less receptive to others’ emotional state than someone who grew up discussing their feelings.

David Caruso, PhD, a well-known psychologist, Assistant to the Dean at Yale University, and co-author of the Mayer, Salovey, Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test, says being taught to hide the very thing which makes us human can have disastrous effects later-on in our adult life.

A recent study published in Computers in Human Behavior explains what happens when we remove screen-based media and communication devices from our lives and replace them with physical, and personal connections instead:

“While digital media provides many useful ways to communicate and learn, our study suggests that skills in reading human emotion may be diminished when face-to-face interaction is displaced by technologically mediated communication. We found that those who were away from screens, with many opportunities for in-person interaction, improved significantly in reading facial emotion cues.”

There are several determinants regarding our emotional intelligence baseline, and how well we can read someone, but how do we improve those qualities and make our personal encounters more informative and successful?

4 Steps To Read Other People’s Energy

Read Other People's Energy
“Hands of Light” by Barbara Brennan

1. Be as objective as possible.

Try to approach each individual interaction as objectively as possible. Oftentimes, we carry our own personal views and biases into our perceptions of others, and that can cloud our judgment.

Let’s say you had an unpleasant experience with an IT support representative, you might, unfairly, assume the next one will be just as unhelpful. Or, if you recently met someone who shares the name of someone you dislike, you might treat them slightly differently.

Body language consultant and founder of Truth Blazer, Blanca Cobb, says, “Your own emotions and your previous experiences with another person can color your impressions, and that may lead you to misread the situation.”

Instead of taking note of someone’s attire, or assuming their slovenly appearance has anything to do with the benevolence or maliciousness of their intent, become a blank slate and pay attention to the behaviors and words of the other person.

2. Put priority in the body language they communicate.

If you are in a bad mood, you’re probably not as good at hiding it as you think.

Our body language always gives us away, if you know what to look for.

There are positive and negative emotions we display through body language. Crossing our arms, the direction we point our feet when talking to someone, eye-contact, smiling, and various other displays of body language can tell someone a lot about how or what you are feeling.

Look at the body language and trust what it says. Most of what the body communicates is not controlled or being filtered and edited by the person you interact with.

3. Let the energy flow.

After we develop an idea about someone, we tend to always view them through that specific lens. Energy is always in motion and so are the labels you put on others. So just feel them. Don’t try to understand them, feel them. Let the energy they emit tell you what they are really trying to speak.

Don’t define them with the current feel but try to keep an open mind. Try to see the bigger picture of them and look at their energy from a higher perspective.

For example, if we label someone as “manipulative,” we will notice the behaviors that correspond with that label, and we’ll be less likely to notice the behaviors which don’t. So don’t try to put a label on the energy that you are reading.

It’s true that our first impressions are usually correct about a person, but they are never foolproof. Remember to re-evaluate your initial assumptions based on continued interaction, and alter them accordingly.

4. Trust what you feel.

When you interact with others and read the energy they emit it is very likely that you won’t trust it.

We are used to find logical and reasonable proofs for other people’s behavior and that’s how we construct the image we have about them. However, we don’t really know the real situation, we only know what others want to let us know.

But energy never lies, so trust what someone makes you feel without looking for a proof.

If you sense that someone, for example, is really sad but they don’t tell or show any particular sadness in what they say, trust your feeling. Be kind, you can even hug them. That might be the most important thing they need that day and they are too ashamed to show.

Improving your emotional intelligence is beneficial to your health.Reading People's Energy is healthy

Having a clearer understanding of our fellow human beings allows for deeper, more honest relationships.

Numerous studies have been taken place on the relationship between emotional intelligence and overall well-being, with fascinating results.

One such study by Dr. Reuven Bar, says, “The results generated by the studies reviewed indicate that emotional intelligence has a significant impact on health as well as on the ability to cope with and possibly survive life-threatening medical conditions.”

A recent meta-analysis by Schutte, Malouff, Thorsteinsson, Bhullar, and Rooke, indicated that emotional intelligence is associated with having better health.

A better understanding of ourselves allows for a better understanding of others; and that understanding can benefit our minds and bodies.

Reading other people’s energy is not the best part.

By becoming better at this, you will be able to better read your own emotions and be healthier. And the better you are at reading your own emotions, you will be better at reading other people.

There Are 3 Inner Causes For Most Of Our Diseases According To Shamans

0

Shamanism is a practice that enables the practitioner to reach altered states of consciousness in order to perceive and interact with the spirit world and channel transcendental energies into this world.

Shamans are not sorcerers, they are real men and women that can get in the states of higher consciousness, and are able to perceive and communicate in ways not possible under normal conditions.

Through a challenging training, shamans are able to lead the high awareness during what were they separate the physical body and make journeys in their inner world not affected by the weather.

The shaman makes a very clear distinction between the medicine of the body and that of the spirit and sees them as complementary. If a man comes home with an arrow in the foot, it is not the time to go into a trance. It is time to remove the arrow from the wound to stop the bleeding, prevent infection and promote healing. It’s ‘time for the medicine of the body and shamanic communities know so many things on this subject too.

This Is How Shamans See DiseasesShamanism

To cope with the disease, the traditional shaman shows a lot of attention to the relationship between cause and effect.

We know that during the life, the physical body, suffers several transformations. The body gets sick from viruses, there are accidents, we have bruises, cuts, wounds and even broken bones sometimes.

Sometimes we suffer from serious injury or some serious internal diseases – cancer, multiple sclerosis, heart disease, hepatitis – and, eventually, we get to aging, deformities and death of the physical body.

In the shamanic point of view these are just effects. For true healing, it is not enough to only treat the effects and suppress the symptoms with medication. We must address the root causes.

According To Shamans There Are 3 Main Causes Of DiseaseInner Causes For Diseases According To Shamans

In terms of the shaman, there are three classic causes of the diseases, which, not surprisingly, are not bacteria, microbes or viruses, but rather internal states.

1. DISHARMONY

The first cause is the disharmony, which happens when men lose a relationship important for them in life, or when they are devoid of the sense of belonging. For example disharmony occurs when, for an elderly couple suddenly one of them dies.

It often happens that in a year and a half, the other becomes ill with something as serious as cancer and dies. The disharmony produces a decrease of the personal power which, in turn, makes us vulnerable to diseases.

2. FEAR

The second cause is fear. A person who has a chronic fear is off inside, is vulnerable to disease, because fear diminishes the operating ability of the immune system.

Fear on itself is not a bad thing. It’s the weakness to use fear in your favor and the tendency to be dominated by it that’s the real cause here. Fear is there to protect you from danger, but once you are too weak to control it, fear chokes life out of you.

3. LOSING THE SOUL

And the third leading cause is soul loss. It’s an interesting thing. From the shamanic point of view, the soul loss is the most serious diagnosis, it is the cause of the most important diseases and premature deaths. However, in the treaties of traditional medicine there is no reference to this aspect.

The soul loss implies a serious wound to the inner heart of a person – his inner essence, to who and what they are. Usually, the wound is the result of the fragmentation of its essence.

Before-During-and-After-The-War

Many of the young people who went to fight in Iraq or Afghanistan, have returned traumatized because they have suffered terrible “soul loss”.

Unfortunately, the Western doctors do not have much to offer in terms of true healing and many of them are still traumatized.

This Is How To Fix The Inner TurmoilHow To Fix The Inner Turmoil

From the traditional point of view, the disease is seen as an intrusion – something that enters the body from the outside, and that does not belong to the body. This is true when it comes to a virus, an arrow or a form of negative thinking.

The most important problem is the loss of power to protect your sacred space from intrusion, be that of the arrow, the virus or the negative thoughts.

The second most important problem is the inability to get rid of the intruders.

To fix the 2 problems, you need to perceive the negative thoughts as you would perceive the arrow. Realize that they do not belong there and gently remove them.

The most important solution to protect yourself from the 3 main causes is to find your own 3 inner cures.

Find your own balance, find your own courage, and find your own truth.

In accordance with the shamanic tradition, healing for “soul loss” takes place in stages.

The first stage involves what might be called the increase in power, a process during which the shaman gives more power to the patient.

The second stage is to diagnose the problem, discovering the cause and feeling its effect on the patient’s body.

The third stage involves the own healing process.

The fourth stage is critical. This is the practice of the lost soul retrieval.
