When a loved one is terminally ill, it’s important to provide emotional support.
This support can help them feel more comfortable and at ease, making the process easier.
There are many ways to offer emotional support for a terminally ill loved one, and each person will need different types of support.
You can do your research to find out what your loved one needs, or you can ask them directly.
Being able to identify the most suitable approach to show that you’re there for them will make a big difference.
Here are 6 ways you can give emotional support to your terminally ill loved one.
6 Ways How to Provide Emotional Support for Loved One:
1. Help Them Access Professional Medical Care.
Without having to worry about the specifics of their care, your loved one can focus on enjoying their time left.
One of the best ways you can do this for them is to help them access professional medical care.
This means reaching out to home health agencies and arranging for home health aides to come and help your loved one with their needs.
They will ensure that your loved one is comfortable and provide care with compassion and respect.
By ensuring that your loved one has access to professional medical care, you can give them the peace of mind that they can spend their days in comfort.
2. Give them Time and Space.
You must give them time and space to rest without being too pushy.
This means giving them time to themselves and not forcing them to talk about their feelings if they are not ready.
It is important to remember that your loved one is going through a difficult time, and they may not always be able to express their feelings.
Be patient and supportive, and let them know you are there for them.
For example, if they need to sleep, let them know that it is okay and that you will be there when they wake up.
3. Offer Them Conversation.
One of the best things you can do for your loved one is to offer them conversation.
This means being a listening ear because simply being there to listen can provide comfort to them.
You should let them lead the discussion, and be sure you don’t cut them off or talk over them.
This is their time to speak, and you should respect that.
You can talk about anything they want, whether it is their illness, life, or anything else.
This conversation can help them to feel better and provide them with some relief.
4. Respect their Decisions.
When it comes to a loved one’s healthcare, it is important to always respect their decisions.
This means listening to them and honoring their wishes, even if you don’t agree with them.
If your loved one is terminally ill, this is especially important.
They are going through a difficult time, and they need to be in control of their own care.
By respecting their decisions, you show them that you care about them and support them.
You are also helping them feel like they are still in control of their lives.
This can be very important for a terminally ill person, and it can make a big difference in their quality of life.
5. Help Them Stay Positive.
It can be difficult for a terminally ill loved one to remain positive, which is why you must help them as much as possible.
This means being a support system for them and ensuring that they know you are there for them.
It also means being positive yourself and lifting their spirits whenever you can.
You can also ask them if they want to do something fun or special, like going for a walk or watching their favorite movie.
This can help them to forget about their illness for a little while and just focus on enjoying themselves.
6. Seek Support for Yourself Too.
It is important to remember that you are going not just your loved one’s caregiver, but also their friend.
This can be a difficult time for you too, and you must ensure that you take care of yourself.
As our population continues to grow and age, the demand for medical care grows with it.
Alongside this growth, the way we treat disease is changing.
With advances in technology, we can detect and treat diseases much earlier than ever.
This results in better patient outcomes and less strain on the healthcare system.
Keep reading to learn more about how modern medicine is changing how we treat disease.
How Modern Medicine is Changing:
The Advancement of Genome Research
Medical research has advanced to the point where we can now target specific genes that cause diseases, and CRISPR is one of the most notable advancements.
In 2011, scientists completed the sequencing of the human genome, and this project took more than a decade and cost billions of dollars.
This groundbreaking achievement has given researchers a much better understanding of human biology and has paved the way for many new treatments and therapies.
CRISPR allows scientists to edit patients’ genes with great precision, making it a potentially powerful tool for treating a wide range of genetic disorders.
Those with a master of health economics and other degrees in scientific research have a hand in this revolutionary research.
One of CRISPR’s most exciting potential applications is its ability to treat sickle cell disease.
Sickle cell disease is a debilitating genetic disorder affecting millions worldwide.
The disease is caused by a mutation in the hemoglobin gene, which produces sickled red blood cells.
These sickled cells can clog the blood vessels, leading to many serious medical problems.
CRISPR offers the potential to cure sickle cell disease by correcting the mutation in the hemoglobin gene.
CRISPR is also revolutionizing the treatment of genetic disorders and offers the hope of a cure for many of these disorders.
Scientists are currently working to develop CRISPR therapies for a range of genetic disorders, and the potential of this technology is limitless.
The Growth of Accessible Treatment
In the early days of medicine, there were few options for those who were ill.
If you were lucky, you might have a wise and experienced healer in your community who could offer some relief.
But for the most part, people were at the mercy of whatever maladies befell them.
Thankfully, over time, medical treatments have become more accessible and diverse.
While there are still many challenges in ensuring everyone has access to the best possible care, significant strides have been made in this area.
These medications are copies of brand-name drugs that have been proven to be just as effective but are available at a fraction of the cost.
This is a crucial development, as it means that more people can afford to get the treatment they need.
Additionally, there has been a considerable increase in the number of medical clinics and hospitals that are accessible to those who live in rural and impoverished areas.
This is important as it means that everyone has a chance to receive the care they need, regardless of their location.
There has also been a growing awareness of the importance of disability inclusive design in the medical community.
This means that healthcare providers are starting to recognize and account for the needs of those with disabilities.
This is a critically important step, as it ensures everyone has equal access to the best care.
While there is still much work to be done, the growth of accessible medical treatment is a cause for celebration.
Telemedicine advancements have been on the rise recently as a way to get prescriptions for various medications.
This is because virtual appointments allow people to get the care they need without leaving their homes or going to a doctor’s office.
This is done by communicating with the doctor about what medication is needed and then getting a prescription from the doctor.
Telemedicine appointments are a great way to get the care you need without leaving your home or going into a doctor’s office.
The Rise of Immunization and Vaccination
Immunization, or vaccination, is the process by which a person is made immune to an infectious disease.
Immunization can occur naturally, as with chickenpox and measles, or artificially, through inoculation with a vaccine.
Immunization has dramatically reduced the incidence of many diseases, including smallpox, polio, and diphtheria.
The modern era of immunization began in 1796 when British doctor Edward Jenner observed that milkmaids who had contracted cowpox were immune to smallpox.
Cowpox is related to smallpox but is much less deadly.
Jenner reasoned that since cowpox was similar to smallpox, exposure to it might protect people from getting smallpox.
He tested his theory by infecting a boy with cowpox and exposing him to smallpox.
The boy did not get sick. Jenner then developed a vaccine for cowpox and successfully used it to immunize people against smallpox.
Today, dozens of vaccines are available to prevent all sorts of infections, including polio, hepatitis B, meningitis, and human papillomavirus (HPV).
Vaccines are typically given as injections, but some are also available as nasal sprays or drops administered directly into the mouth.Modern medicine is changing the way we treat patients on a global scale.
With these amazing advancements, it’s safe to say that the future holds even more exciting prospects for the treatment of diseases and access to healthcare.
There’s never a bad time to start improving yourself.
Learn ways to break bad habits like avoiding difficult emotions that deter you from facing some decisions.
Become more certain of yourself by reducing the effect of influential bias on your decision making.
Teach yourself to appreciate the perspective of others so that you can make choices with better information and a wider viewpoint.
Create routines so that holding yourself to your new habits is easier than ever, as long as you use the right tools, and get expert help.
Something else to consider is helping identify any mental illnesses you may have that are undiagnosed.
For some adults, difficulty making decisions comes with the normal stresses of daily life, but for others, it’s part of a bigger problem.
Issues like anxiety and depression, as well as many more illnesses, come with similar effects on decision making.
Creating a level of crisis or importance around the thing that needs a choice made for it, mental illnesses turn normal, everyday tasks into monumental trials with little to no reward.
Teach yourself to be aware of what you’re experiencing, and how you’re responding to it.
Just being conscious of our thoughts and emotions can have a profound effect on helping us make better choices, even if that choice is to not make a decision yet.
While mental illness is best controlled with medicine, taking the reigns on your decision making is something you can do from home.
Beware of external influences and chemistry.
One important part of guiding your brain out of clouded confusion is managing how much stimulus you’re exposed to on a daily basis.
After a certain point, we all learn to tune most things out, but when we’re used to having a tv playing somewhere in the background, or a podcast or music playlist going on our phones, it’s easy to not realize how little we tend to sit, read, or sleep in silence.
Working indoors, studying indoors, cooking, cleaning, and sleeping, how much time do you dedicate to unplugging from devices and sitting in the fresh air and sunshine?
Our bodies operate primarily on chemical reactions and two incredibly important chemicals would arguably be serotonin and melatonin.
Your body needs serotonin to create melatonin, the latter of which promotes restful sleep.
We don’t expect our cars to run without gas, we shouldn’t expect our brains to run without rest.
Being active and getting some sun can help immensely with giving your brain a boost by helping it turn off fully for a good night’s rest.
Your health is in your hands.
More than just resting for energy, our bodies need proper nutrition.
When you’re neglecting your diet, or perhaps lacking in areas you don’t know are insufficient, your body can’t work at its peak performance.
Preventing yourself from getting sick is one thing, but maintaining a healthy diet, balanced with adequate exercise and sleep can be a serious challenge.
Don’t let your well being take the hit because you can’t decide where to make time for yourself.
Commit to giving yourself time for training your brain to make decisions that can improve your life.
Make use of the resources and expert help available to you and find out the best path forward for you.
Invest some energy in building healthy habits so you can be more self aware, make decisions faster and with more clarity, and be more confident in yourself in every choice you make.
You can even share your new skills and habits with your friends and family, and encourage them to do the same.

In May 2022, I applied for and was granted my Social Security retirement benefits, so there could be some income to assist my wife in providing for ourselves.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
The largest impact was moving from Ride Share Driving which is where I practiced talking with people daily.

A) Growing without a father B) Race issues C) Parenting D) Employment
Today as an Elder in the Black Community by Age, not a title or Position. My role now is to motivate Black Fathers to consider their origin story.

Shaundas Knighton is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her understanding of emotions.
After going through her own journey of discovering the power of trapped emotions, she focused on deeply releasing all of those energies she kept in her own system.
After releasing over 100s of stuck emotions, she learned the art of helping other people do the same, how to free themselves from their own chains.
Now she helps people to release trapped emotional baggage from the past that may be sabotaging their life and relationships with others.
Meet Life Coach Shaundas Knighton:
Name: Shaundas Knighton Pillar: The Heart Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to release stuck emotions that are sabotaging their life and liberate themselves to live the life they desire. How they can help: Through various techniques like Emotion Code, Reiki, Dowsing, Sound Healing, just to name a few.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
My family and I were lucky. My husband is a physician and spent many nights in the hospital when the pandemic began.
Our two boys survived distance learning, too. Luckily, I am a certified teacher, so they didn’t have any regressions during that time.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
Since Covid, many of my sessions are done at a distance via Zoom or phone. So, I am able to work with anyone anywhere.
It is so amazing that remote clients have the same experience as clients I have seen in person.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
The biggest lesson learned from the pandemic was to live each day with a loving heart in order to experience true happiness.
Happiness is sitting outside and listening to the birds sing in the morning. It’s the ability to be grateful regardless of what is happening around me.
Happiness is loving myself, my family, and all of the strangers navigating their human experiences.
Happiness is watching my children use their own energy healing techniques when they are confronted with negative emotions.
Happiness is helping another person free themselves from the emotional shackles of their past.
There is so much peace in the world. We just have to open our hearts to feel worthy enough to receive peace.

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
Two years ago, I suffered from a miscarriage. I was 39 years old, recently engaged to the love of my life, and at the top of my career as a Special Education Area Director. When I found out I was pregnant, I was nervous but excited. This is exactly how life is supposed to happen, right?
Except for every night, I dreamt my ex husband was trying to kill me.
In 2015, I left a marriage that was volatile and suffocating. Life was a nightmare during my first marriage but when I left my life took a drastic turn for the better. I hadn’t seen my ex husband since the day I left his home.
I had moved on and tried to forget the horrors endured during the years prior. So, why was this man popping up in my dreams 5 years after our divorce?
One night I had a dream that I was showing off a new home to a group of people. In the back of the group were my grandfather and uncle (both deceased).
When I noticed them, I brought them to the front of the group to show them the progress of this two story mansion.
My grandfather said, “You’ve done a good job, baby, but there’s more work for you to do in this house. It’s not too much work so it won’t take you long. Just be a lil’ patient.”
Then I woke up. This was the day I miscarried. I cried for days after hearing the news. I couldn’t understand how this could happen to me when I strive to be a good person.
I spent those days in bed doom scrolling through social media. Then, as I was scrolling through my photo memories, I saw a screenshot I’d taken two years prior of a book that looked interesting.
It is titled The Energy Codes: The 7 step system to awaken your spirit, heal your body, and live your best life by Dr. Sue Morter.
I took that as a sign and ordered the book to read while grieving. I finished reading this book in two days! I couldn’t put it down. It described the Chakras and our energy body system.
Here, I had a full explanation of how emotions stored in the body can wreak havoc on your physical body. The light bulb was bright at this point.
On the outside, I had a perfect life but on the inside, I had negative emotions crowding my subconscious.
So, much of my life was dictated by my past emotions. I understood that when I was being triggered by someone or something, it was because the current situation was triggering a negative memory that caused me pain.
From there, I started learning more about energy healing and studying to become an Emotion Code Practitioner.
Through the Emotion Code, using muscle testing, we can locate and release any trapped emotion stored in your body. Not only are we able to release emotions you’ve trapped from experiences you’ve had but also generational emotions that you’ve inherited, and emotions you absorbed from a caregiver.
Since starting my healing journey, I’ve released over 150 emotions from myself!
Noticing the change in my temperament and overall well being, I began spreading the news and helping friends and family release their negative emotions, too!
Everyone had amazing results.
With a new sense of spirituality and an intense desire to help others that need to heal from the negative emotions, I became a certified Reiki Master, Chakra Healer, Tuning Fork Therapist, and Forgiveness Life Coach.
Now, I know what my grandfather was trying to tell me in that dream. There was a lot of inner work that needed to be done. I needed to learn how to truly forgive and release the negative feelings I had subconsciously held onto. My “mansion” has been repaired and I am forever grateful.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
The biggest obstacle I’ve had to overcome is ME.
We don’t realize how much we have been conditioned through our interactions and experiences. I had dealt with so many disappointments and hurt that I had created this armor of “That’s just how I am”.
At the beginning of my healing journey, that armor of hurt made it difficult to commit to healing. The hurt had become a part of my identity. Who would I be if I wasn’t hurt and upset anymore?
Internally, I was still that little girl that silently suffered from bullying. I had to unlearn so much.
I had to overcome feelings of rejection, worthlessness, and insecurity. I had to unlearn the art of aggressive communication that I held onto from multiple toxic relationships. I had to unlearn the quick reaction of taking things so personally.
In the forgiveness process, the hardest person to forgive is yourself.
During my healing journey, I had to forgive myself for staying in situations when I know I needed to leave.
I also had to forgive myself for not standing up for myself when I felt I was being wronged.
Once I learned that there is freedom in releasing the past and added a little patience to the mix, the road became smoother!
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
I innovate the coaching experience with my clients by infusing energy healing into coaching sessions.
Through energy work, I am able to release trapped emotional triggers so my clients can focus on forgiveness without reliving the negative emotions associated with the person or event.
It is my passion to help others transmute their pain into positivity and purpose!
During a coaching session, I use a variety of energy healing techniques: Emotion Code, Usui, and Unitarian Reiki, Crystals, Dowsing, Tuning Fork Therapy, Tarot, and Personalized Guided Meditation.
I also offer emergency sessions for those clients who may need a quick release and a burst of positive energy.
I am currently developing a group coaching service that will include all of the services offered in one powerful package for those that are committed to diving deep into emotional healing.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
My unique approach to coaching lies in my ability to guide clients to healing their energetic and emotional selves.
During an alignment call, I consult with potential clients regarding where they believe they need to heal and create a coaching plan based on their energy reading and information collected during the call.
I approach coaching with an inside out approach.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
Clients leave knowing which emotions have been sabotaging their lives and relationships.
They understand their energy bodies and how to get the energy flowing in a positive way.
It brings me so much joy to hear that post-session clients are experiencing more clarity, feeling empowered, creative, and light on their feet!
The most important benefit is that they are able to see the world with a new set of lenses instead of through the lenses of past hurt.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
I use a variety of energy healing techniques and tools during a coaching session.
All of the tools have proven to be beneficial: Emotion Code, Reiki, Crystals, Dowsing, Sound Healing, Journaling, Affirmations and Meditation.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
Remember to have compassion. We are all doing the best we can with the level of awareness we have!
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
The greatest lesson I’ve learned is the importance of forgiveness. There is so much freedom in forgiveness.
Your final thoughts?
Feelings buried alive never die.
When we bury emotions without releasing them, we give those E zombies permission to wreak havoc on our hearts, minds, and ultimately our entire lives.
We are LOVE, ABUNDANT when we decide to heal and FORGIVE!
If you like to connect with her more personally, you can follow her Instagram account or like her Facebook page. It was an honor having this interview with her.
Morgana Rae is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her powerful coaching results. It was one of my favorite interviews so far.
She started her coaching career by accident and it turned out that it was the best thing she can actually do. She helps her clients go from 5.000$ per month to few million.
And she can have you experience drastic changes and transformation even after few minutes of coaching.
She says there are 3 teachers in life, money, love, and health. And they all bring us to the same room. She helps you open these doors. Here is what she said.
Meet Life Coach Morgana Rae:
Name: Morgana Rae Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Body, The Heart Who is this coach for: Women who want to improve their wealth, health, or relationships. How they can help: Through her signature process Financial Alchemy and various other techniques like NLP, Ericksonian hypnosis, to name a few.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
My husband and I are grieving the passing of way too many people we love over the last two years. We’re also grateful for every day we have.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
I knew back in March 2020 that this was going to be a very serious, multi year pandemic. This idea that it would be over in 2 weeks made no logical sense to me.
I cancelled all of my much loved, hot selling Money Goddess Bali retreats and semi retired for two years, only coaching a few favorite clients.
I led an extra tiny Money Goddess retreat in Mexico late last year, and another this year in June. I caught Covid on day 3 of my retreat and quarantined immediately.
I am coaching the balance of the retreat 1 on 1 with each woman and I invited them to join my Rich Witch Retreat with my next level clients at my house in California.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
The first one began the year before the pandemic when my father died. My biggest takeaway is we only have one body. Almost anything else can be replaced.
The pandemic really drove home to me that if I have love, a home, health, and good food to eat, I am wealthy beyond measure. Everything else seems silly. I’m not here to impress anybody.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
Ha! I started my coaching career by accident as a way to take a “vacation for my soul” from my then acting career.
I started in 1994 as a volunteer coach for a company that served the entertainment industry. Right out the gate my clients were booking big budget motion pictures, hit TV shows, selling their films, winning awards. I had a magic touch and an intuition for connection.
I found I was a far happier person when I was helping others, so I quit acting and became a full time coach.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
It was a perfect storm of car accident, coma, traumatic brain injury, a violent drug addict mom, and homelessness my senior year of high school.
The head injury, more than anything, taught me how temporary everything is, especially my own body.
The ease with which I studied, analyzed, and recalled information was gone. I didn’t know myself. I couldn’t sleep and I was suicidal every day for several years.
I still graduated from high school with honors (national merit scholar) and went on to earn a degree in Religion from Smith College.
The experience of that particular loss and struggle taught me a humility I didn’t have before. I developed a new respect for the pain and struggles of others.
I hold our victim experiences to be sacred. They humanize us. They give us the capacity and the experience to help others.
My intuition flowered during this period. I started having spontaneous non dualistic experiences, and this is when I became aware that I knew things were going to happen before they happened.
This is also when I started to notice that I’m clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient, and claircognizent. I don’t know if these abilities would have developed so clearly if the brain I used to have had remained uninjured.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
You cannot do the same thing with different people. Even if I am doing the same process (thousands of people have hired me to coach them through my signature process), it’s not going to look or sound or pace anything like anyone else.
One person may need twenty minutes and another person may need 7 hours to get to the same destination.
Neither is better or worse. It’s just what the person needs.
I’ve had a 15 minute client make 1.2 million dollars as a direct result of my coaching, and I’ve had another client make $1.2 million from the same process… only it took us 7 hours with her.
Clients need what they need. Every person comes up with a new obstacle or twist, and finding the solution simply makes the work richer and better.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
My signature process Financial Alchemy® was developed through my own direct experience and tested on tens of thousands of clients over 20 years.
Clients come to me after they’ve tried everything else, these are MASTERS of personal development (I’ve coached a number of well known, household name coaches).
I can take my clients where no other coach can, and the dramatic money results are just the frosting… a nice side benefit of the inner transformation.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
I believe The Universe gets our attention, for our own evolution, through 3 primary teachers: money, love, and health. Money tends to get our attention the fastest.
I’m world famous for the money results. Clients have reported 5, 6, 7 figure results sometimes within hours (or minutes) of our coaching.
Love is another biggie. When money is no longer the bad guy, love can become safe, too.
Clients in the 50s, 60s, and 70s have reported finally meeting their life partner after we changed their relationship with “money.”
Or the marriage that was on the rocks launches into a many year honeymoon. (Ask me about my 100 weddings)
And health. I’ve had clients spontaneously recover from eczema, infertility, fibromyalgia, life threatening disease, decades of pain from an old injury, a neurological disease that was leading to blindness… as a direct result of our coaching.
I’m a big fan of conventional medicine, and I’m not trying to be “John of God,” so I don’t usually talk about those results.
As I said before The Universe gets our attention through money, love, and health.
3 doors into the same room.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
Financial Alchemy, NLP, Ericksonian hypnosis, co active coaching.
Honestly, I’ve been in the business for 28 years. I’ve tried out so many online platforms and whatnot. At the end of the day, all my clients care about is coaching.
That’s where the biggest results are, and I don’t need many clients. I had years with hundreds of clients. That’s not what I want.
My (now) client Pam had her first quarter of a million dollar month of sales just doing that book self coaching system on her own before we ever met, before she ever hired me.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
Change happens at the speed of safety.
If change is not happening, find out what isn’t safe. (It’s never what you expect)
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
As I said, Change happens at the speed of safety.
Your final thoughts?
Probably the best use of me in an interview format is to have me walk your audience through my Financial Alchemy process, if we have time, so they can experience an immediate breakthrough.
If not, we can talk about other things and I can point audience members to my website for more.

When it comes to choosing small business coaches, one of the first things you must factor is personal experience.
Many coaches advertise themselves as business gurus, and who can blame them? It’s easy to believe someone that makes themselves look like a professional.

Yet, you must also be comfortable at all times, no matter what kind of topic you’re discussing.
This can be tricky, but you’ll get a better idea of what communication will be like when you reach out to a coach.
After speaking with them a few times, you’ll have more than enough info to decide whether to continue working with them.
You can also read online customer reviews to learn about different coaches. When reading online reviews, look for mentions of communication and anything else you’re interested in. If a coach has mostly positive feedback, there’s a good chance you’ll have a positive experience with them.
3. Your Business Goals.
Many owners seek options for business coaches when they want help reaching their goals.
While a business coach can provide you with a ton of benefits, you can’t hire the right one unless you know what exactly you want to achieve.
Because of this, start outlining some short term and long term goals that you want to work toward.
