Astrology And Cosmic Update For August 2018: Here is What August is Bringing for Each Person

0

If the last month was all about intense energy and healing past wounds, this month will start similar, with high intensity to help you throughly examine your inner self.

This is in order to highlight your inner wounds, bottled emotions and trauma so you can heal them as much as you can.

As this month continues it will slowly decrease in emotional intensity to give you a sense of relief and healing.

For those of you who identify with being highly sensitive, perhaps a little more introvert and shy, you are about to find your power in the world.

Don’t be surprised if you are now getting really strong urges to shake up the game in your life a little more, you might have urges to get out, to connect, to be bolder than usual.

You will find your emotional fluency and your ability to have emotional leadership in a conversation.

This is going to magnetize and connect you to the people and the places that are truly receptive to you and appreciative.

It’s really important to focus on how you take care of yourself, whether it’s self soothing or grounding into reality.

If you do that, the rest of your visions will fall into place more effortlessly than you might realize is possible.

Here Is What Astrologists Say August Has In Store For Each Person:what-august-2018-is-bringing-for-each-person

During the first week of August we may still feel things rising up from the depths in order to be cleared.

Emotions may also be high during the first week of August as Mars, which is still in retrograde, continues to be very active.

Mars is our inner warrior, and can help us to achieve and overcome all obstacles, but when this energy is not in balance, or when it’s met with lots of lunar energy like it is in August, it can cause us to feel restless, agitated, and even aggressive.

If there is any anger or frustration buried underneath the surface, the first week of August may lead you to get things off your chest.

Even though it can be tempting, it is best to practice patience and to really think it through if you are planning on confronting someone or taking action on something.

This energy does have an impulsive feel to it, so it’s going to be important to not leap before looking. Under all of this energy, slow and steady really does win the race.

On August 7th we have Uranus going retrograde, making a total of six planets in retrograde. This is going to continue the theme we have been dealing with since July.

Having so many planets in retrograde is a sign from The Universe that we need to stop and reflect on our past before moving forward.

Uranus going retrograde may bring up issues that were occurring around May 2018, or you may receive more insights or wisdom as to something that was stirring around this time.

On August 8th we have the opening of the Lionsgate Portal, which will be activating our soul bodies and helping us to upgrade and fine tune to higher frequencies and vibrations.

Following this we also have a Solar Eclipse on August 11th in the sign of Leo. This is the most potent and influential aspect of the month and it’s going to be lighting a new path forward.

This Solar Eclipse is going to bring new opportunities that will help us to start a new chapter in our lives.

It is the last Eclipse for 2018, and we are going to be working with its energy until the next Eclipse season starts in January 2019.

On August 18 and 19th, Mercury will turn direct after being retrograde since July 25th. This is going to help things start speeding up again, but with many other planets still in retrograde, it is only going to offer a small reprieve.

The real release with all of these retrogrades comes on August 27th when Mars finally goes direct after being retrograde since the end of June.

Mars will take a few days to rev back up, but once it does we are going to feel huge waves of action and energy.

In fact, September will be a great month to push forward and we are going to be feeling far more energized and awakened.

Just a day before Mars turns direct we also have the Pisces Full Moon. This is one of the most beautiful Full Moon’s of the year and has wonderful prosperous, romantic, and creative energy that we all get to enjoy.

The best thing you can do this month is take care of yourself and your emotions as they fluctuate in intensity.

As you release the bottled up emotions while being kind and taking care of yourself, you will feel happier, freer and more positive. You will feel emotional purification that will help you become the best you that you know you are.

5 Ways How To Find Peace When You’re Being Emotional

0

Some people are more emotional than others. But being emotional is not a bad thing if you know how to manage your emotions and use them in your advantage.

We all feel emotional at some point. Some of us are able to push through while others, on the other side of the spectrum, end up taking medicines.

But being emotional is not a challenge you need to push through, nor something you need to protect yourself from. It’s a period when you can learn the most and grow the most.

To be able to use emotions for growth you need to be able to find peace in midst of feeling emotional. But it takes a great mastery of oneself to find peace in such times.

We can’t control the chaos of emotions. But finding peace is not getting rid of the chaos. Real peace can be found at the eye of the storm.

We will share 5 ways you can find peace when you feel emotional so you can use your emotions to learn really powerful truths about your self and grow.

5 Ways How To Find Peace When You Feel Emotional:how-to-find-peace-when-youre-being-emotional

1. Accept that you are just a human like everyone else.

See yourself as who you really are, a human being just like anybody else. You have your own problems and struggles, just like everyone else.

Stop comparing yourself to others because you’re neither above nor below them. We have the same number of hours in a day, we all have to get up every morning and find meaning in life. Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s hard, but we all fight a hard battle.

By seeing yourself as a normal and ordinary human being, your are giving yourself permission to feel. By knowing others feel emotional too, you are not going to feel alone with your emotions. By accepting yourself as just a human, you stop doubting yourself.

And this realization gives us peace because we realize it’s just who we are, there’s nothing wrong with us.

Accepting that you’re ordinary human makes you feel less alone and more at peace.

2. Acknowledge your discomfort.

Don’t resist any uncomfortable feelings when they come. Instead, acknowledge their presence and embrace them.

If you feel like crying, then cry. It’s a good way of releasing the tensions from your body.

Placing one hand on your chest and the other on your belly, while breathing deeply, protects you from getting overwhelmed by these emotions.

By acknowledging your discomfort fully, it will stop being so discomfortable. you’ll realize it was your resistance of your emotions that gave you discomfort and your emotions per se.

This will give you presence within your emotions and peace feeling them.

3. Stay present with your emotions.

When we feel emotional we tend to look for ways how we can escape from the present moment and from feeling.

We turn the TV, we watch something, we drink, we play something, we use our phone. Whatever we can to avoid feeling the emotions we feel.

But these avoidance of feeling your emotions makes your emotions much more scary and intense than they really are.

They just want you to feel them and they’ll go away. They are like messengers who are really persistent to tell you a message. So let them. Be present with them. Feel them.

Feel them fully. Feel the discomfort they make, where they make it. Try to observe them and you can even give them a color. Stay with them, accept them unconditionally.

4. Express your emotions.

There are many ways you can express your emotions. You can sing, dance, exercise, journal, write, or even paint.

Journaling is one way of digging deeper into your inner self. Through it, you’ll be able to be honest with your emotions and express them without any filter.

It’s one of the best ways of releasing and understanding the accumulated emotions inside you.

Through writing, you’re able to purge out all the self defeating thoughts you may have, your fears, pains, doubts.

Writing in your journal even for 10 to 15 minutes a day enables you to clear your mind of its clutter.

Once your mind is cleared, it’s much easier to feel your emotions and listen to what they have to say.

5. Stop trying to control.

The greatest irony and absurdity we tend to make is try to control our emotions. We mistake controlling our actions with controlling our emotions.

You can control your actions, but you cannot control an emotion. By nature an emotion is chaotic, it doesn’t follow a scheme or a defined behavior, it’s free and unique.

All we do by trying to control our emotions is suppressing them deep within our selves. These emotions are still there, pending for us to feel them.

And as much as we do this the more we fill ourselves up with unfelt emotions until one day we have mental breakdown.

So when you are feeling emotional, stop trying desperately to control everything. just let go and embrace the way you feel. Embrace the storm of emotions and do not resist.

As you do this you will realize that your emotions cannot hurt you if you do not resist them. You will pass through the storm and you’ll get right to the center, to the eye of the storm.

And there, in the midst of your emotions, in the eye of the storm you will find the greatest peace you did not know existed within you.

3 Different Views Of The Nature Of Consciousness From Profound Thinkers

0

For the past 20 years, scientists just slightly touched the field of consciousness, hoping to bring us some clear answers to this seemingly elusive aspect of ourselves.

Yet, despite their concerted efforts, very little is known about consciousness its nature and its origins.

Even brain scanning technologies failed to give us light regarding this subject. But we cannot find our answers perhaps because consciousness is not just within us but it’s us.

Maybe we are not too close to the picture to see it, maybe we are the picture itself. And studying our very own existence takes a different approach from the scientific one.

For the sake of having a much clearer idea about the nature of consciousness, it’s imperative to look at the different views of the profound thinkers of our time and those who came before us had. Maybe the answers lie somewhere in between.

3 Different Views Of Consciousness From Profound Thinkers:views-of-the-nature-consciousness-from-profound-thinkers

1. A Fundamental Force of The Universe.

The Australian philosopher and cognitive scientist David Chalmer has a practical view of consciousness that is easily relatable by the consciously awakened beings.

He explained that rather than produced by the brain, consciousness may be a fundamental force of The Universe, like gravity or mass.

It’s how consciousness came into being when The Universe began, existing everywhere and in everything.

2. A Field Outside The Brain.

Another philosopher and spiritually enlightened soul, Robert Forman, had a similar view of the above.

He suggested that consciousness exists as a kind of field, outside the brain, and that the function of the brain is to ‘pick up’ consciousness, like a radio receiver, and ‘channel’ it out into our individual organism.

This is a view that many scientists start to have. Similar theories can be found all throughout history by different civilizations who tried to find ways how to tune into the best channel of consciousness through psychedelic substances.

3. A Spiritual Force.

The indigenous groups who came before us were more connected to themselves and their surroundings. Maybe because they had fewer distractions than we do now.

These groups believed the concept of a ‘spiritual force’, which they perceived as pervading the whole of reality.

Even if they differ in the terms used, they attributed it to only one and the same thing, the all pervading force or power that has no gender or personality.

Conclusion:

All of the above views of consciousness lead us to understand how consciousness plays a role in human compassion, empathy, and altruism.

As a fundamental force that we all share, consciousness urges us to go out and reach out even to strangers and other members of the species.

This explains why we feel the sufferings of others as if they’re our own and try our best to help them out in our own little way.

The fundamental force that governs us all has the power to connect us to deeper and more conscious levels where we can exchange information with one another.

While a damage to the brain may result in a damage of consciousness, this doesn’t nullify the fact that our consciousness is beyond the workings of our brains.

As we have stated above, the brain acts like a radio receiver of consciousness. A damage to a radio will eventually impair the broadcast of its programmes.

So much so that in trying to explain consciousness, we can say we are consciousness and sharing this consciousness with everyone and everything.

9 Ways How To Find The Divine Masculine Energy Within You

0

We are all created with both the masculine and feminine energy within us. It’s the motion, the dance between them that gives us life.

Having more masculine or feminine energy can bring imbalance within us. The ideal and, where our soul can truly align, is in creating a balance between these two energies.

However, these days, more focus is given to the divine feminine, that nurturing, loving, and compassionate energy. The divine masculine seems to be overlooked on our way to wholeness and evolution.

It’s true that the masculine energies caused much trouble and aggression to our society in the past, but this is exactly the main reason why we should heal and open this divine masculine energy within us so it will dance with the feminine again.

An awakening of this masculine energy can lead us to self confidence, objectivity, have a critical mind, emotional balance, a connection to the inner warrior, set strong boundaries, assertiveness, willpower, self discipline, and mental clarity.

9 Ways To Find Your Divine Masculine Energy:how-to-find-the-masculine-energy-within-you

1. Check your inner wounds caused by the masculine energy.

In one way or another, there may be some masculine figures in the past who caused you sufferings.

Whether it be through abandonment, alienation, emotional connection, and the like, you need to check your inner wounds surrounding the masculine energy.

This may be the blockages that prevent you from connecting with your divine masculine.

2. Be accountable.

Take responsibility for your actions, mistakes, thoughts and feelings. They may have caused you pain but you have the choice to get out of the victim mentality.

When you become accountable for your self and take responsibility for your choices you reclaim your masculine energy and rise above the pain from the past.

3. Connect with your inner father.

There are many faces of our psyches according to Carl Jung and he called them archetypes. This includes the Father, which is a universal archetype.

He is just there inside you lying dormant. Contact this benevolent inner father because he can show you many wonderful things about yourself.

Establish a relationship with him and make it a goal to know what he has to tell you.

You can do this through journaling, automatic writing, or through artistic pursuits such as painting. This is a powerful way of honoring your divine masculine.

4. Deconstruct your mental conditioning.

A lot of misconceptions have been attached to the masculine energy, such as real men don’t cry and that men should not be emotional.

Every culture has its own mental construct about masculinity. Find out yours and start to deconstruct the wrong notions about the masculine energy.

The ability to know what a real and mature masculine looks like can help you connect more deeply to your divine masculine.

5. Have a masculine teacher or guide.

There’s no better way to know the real embodiment of divine masculine energy than by looking for masculinity out there.

Find someone who reflects this energy and learn from them.

They could be your family, close friends, acquaintances or any well known figures that you admire.

6. Allow your inner warrior to shine.

The real warrior within you is never dominant nor violent. Your inner warrior defends your rights in a peaceful and assertive way.

He protects and supports you, values truth, courage, and inner strength. Bringing your warrior energy into your life awakens your divine masculine.

The practice of martial arts, boxing, vigorous exercise, or full artistic self expression might bring out this hidden warrior within you.

7. Learn to be assertive.

Assertiveness is not about imposing yourself on others.

Rather, it’s about knowing your needs and doing something to provide this needs.

Being assertive also includes setting up your boundaries and defending it in the right way, without resorting to fighting and violence.

8. Radiate confidence.

Confidence is not an inborn skill, though others are endowed with it more naturally.

You can radiate confidence and even convince yourself of this confidence by standing straight or uprightly.

If you know how to express yourself in a calm and confident way, it’s easier for you to get in touch with your divine masculine energy.

9. Be active.

Be active and don’t let passivity or comfort win over you. Get active, set goals, make plans, and follow your dreams. That’s the natural character of masculine energy.

Keep your inner fire lighted up by giving your all to everything that you do.

By doing this, you’re allowing your inner masculine energy to take reins and unleash its full power.

But of course, don’t get so tangled up with your divine masculine energy that you forget about the divine feminine energy that is within you. Connect with these two energies and try to achieve balance and alignment in your life.

5 Things Each Person Can Do To Help People Struggling With Mental Health

0

Mental health is as important as any other type of health. Mental illness is a global issue. People start to see mental illnesses as a real problem but many still have prejudices about what mental illnesses really are.

Just because something can’t be seen it does not mean it’s not real. Someone struggling with clinical depression needs care and support as much someone with broken arm. Maybe even more. Imagine being sick and having nobody around you to help you heal.

My point is that people struggling with mental health issues usually struggle alone because people around them can’t see their problem and can’t understand their pain. But they don’t have to. There are ways you can help people struggling with mental health.

In this modern society with advanced technology there are countless ways to get to the right information, to educate yourself and find ways to give a helping hand. There are countless ways to make people connect, share and help each other.

Depression, panic attacks and anxiety are a global epidemic. There are certainly people around you who suffer in silence. Maybe it’s even you. But if you know someone who struggles with mental health, here are 5 ways you can help them.

5 Ways You Can Help People Struggling With help-people-struggling-with-mental-healthMental Health:

1. Be considerate and friendly.

People who struggle with mental health need love and support. The last thing they need is to feel isolated and alone. You should listen to them, try to understand them and be compassionate about their inner struggles. Don’t try to push them, just be a friend. All they need is a friend who they can open up to. In fact, genuine connection is probably the biggest thing that can help them.

2. Look at their health issue as a real problem because it is.

Whatever they struggle with, depression, panic attacks, anxiety, or some other mental disorder, see it as a real illness. Just because it’s not visible it doesn’t mean it is not affecting their inner chemistry and emotions. People who struggle with mental health want you to acknowledge their pain. They want you to see that they are struggling inside, because they feel like nobody understands they are in pain, and yet, they need help.

3. Read and educate.

In today’s age there is no excuse to not know about mental disorders. The information and knowledge is everywhere. It’s literally available to you in a couple of clicks away on a device that’s inside your pocket. So at least try to educate yourself about what these people who you care about are struggling with. Read about what’s the possible cause, what’s the possible fix, how they feel. It will give you bigger compassion.

4. Give a sincere advice.

If you really care about someone who struggles with mental health you will probably try to help them by giving them advices. If they are sad, you’ll tell them to not be sad. If they worry too much you’ll tell them not to worry. If they have anxiety you’ll ask them to stop feeling anxious. But the problem is they would have done it if they could. The advice should be from the heart. Tell them how you dealt with anxiety yourself when you felt anxious.

5. Show them ways that can fix their problem for good.

A couple of years ago mental health might have been something that not many people understood or were aware of. But today the awareness is growing and there are countless options for help and therapy. The internet itself offers many ways to come in contact with professionals who can personally help with mental health, or at least show techniques through articles and videos. Here is a powerful online therapy app you can use.

Study Shows Human Consciousness Might Follow The Same Laws That Govern The Universe

Scientists have been speculating about the idea of the human brain’s commonalities with The Universe. But they didn’t realize consciousness might be a side effect.

While numerous studies were done focusing into such comparisons, a new study has possibly discovered the origins of human consciousness as a result of one fundamental law.

In its effort to hunt answers about the evolution of human consciousness, this new study has uncovered a clue, showing a strong similarity between the human consciousness and The Universe.

A team of researchers from France and Canada said that our human consciousness might be a side effect of an increasing entropy, a process that is in progress since the Big Bang.

Study Shows Human Consciousness Might Be A Result Of Entropy:human-consciousness-might-follow-the-same-laws-that-govern-the-universe

What Is Universal Entropy:

Entropy is a thermodynamic property referring to the degree of disorder or randomness in a system, mainly a system’s progression from order to disorder.

The process of entropy can be best described with the following example:

You put a cube on the table. Since it’s only one, you can only arrange it one way. But suppose you add another cube, you can now arrange it in more ways.

The larger the number of cubes you put on the table, the larger is the number of ways you can arrange it.

This is how entropy works. In short, it’s a number of ways a system can be arranged.

On the other hand, a larger entropy shows a larger disorder in the system.

In the second law of thermodynamics, it states that in any process that involves a cycle, entropy can only stay the same or increase within a closed system. This means without outside interference, the system cannot move from high entropy to low entropy.

An ice cube melting is an example of this entropy. The cube is in a state of low entropy, but as it melts and disorder grows, entropy increases.

Many physicists believed that The Universe is undergoing a state of increasing entropy, just like the above example.

The Universe was in a state of low entropy when the Big Bang occurred. And as it spreads out gradually, the system grows into a higher entropy.

It is from the above law that the human brain is linked into. The brain is said to undergo the same process that results in something interesting, the human consciousness.

Human Entropy:

Scientists want to know how the concept of entropy applies to the human brain. To do this, they analyzed the amount of order in our brains while we’re conscious and not conscious.

They model the networks of neurons in the brains of seven patients with cases of epilepsy and two other participants. They observed the patients when they were awake, asleep, or having seizures.

Their findings were astounding. They found the participants’ brain to be in a state of higher entropy when fully conscious. They wrote:

“We find a surprisingly simple result: normal wakeful states are characterized by the greatest number of possible configurations of interactions between brain networks, representing highest entropy values.”

With this findings, researchers suggested that consciousness might be a side effect of a system that works to maximize the exchange of information.

To state simply, increasing entropy prompted human consciousness to emerge.

These Studies Provide Us With A Clue To The Origins Of Human Consciousness:

Even if this study gives us a glimpse what’s the connection between human consciousness and entropy, it’s not yet conclusive because of the study’s small sample size.

Further studies are yet to be done using a larger group and with different types of brain states.

Nevertheless, these findings provide us another clue to the origins of the human consciousness.

As of this time, whether consciousness is only a side effect of a certain phenomenon or some higher force created it, it’s still the biggest mystery we try to solve.

But as science peaks more into the sublime and nonmaterial it will achieve much bigger progress in solving such mysteries and revealing the origins of consciousness.
