Find Life Coach | Meet Gonzalo Leon Uriarte: Redefining Personal Development

Gonzalo Leon Uriarte is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with him. He impressed us with his wisdom and honesty.

He started his life in a unique cross cultural environment, blending the influences of South American heritage with Swedish upbringing. From a young age, his fascination with human behavior was piqued by the startling realization of colorblindness, sparking a lifelong quest to understand the intricate rules governing our perception of reality.

His journey from childhood curiosities to a career in existential conversational coaching is marked by a deep commitment to emotional intelligence and meaningful connections. By challenging conventional coaching methods, he brings a fresh perspective to psychological safety, active listening, and wellness, making personal development tangible and accessible.

He is creative and innovative. He offers a cutting edge program for remote and hybrid teams, emphasizing the importance of personal relationships in professional success. With a multidisciplinary wellness agency, he provides a holistic approach to wellbeing, combining psychology, mind and body techniques, and immersive experiences. Here is what he said.

Meet Life Coach Gonzalo Leon Uriarte:

Name: Gonzalo Leon Uriarte

Pillar: The Mind, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to master their emotions, liberate themselves, and live a life designed for wellness.

How they can help: By using various coaching tools and techniques, as well as his platform https://www.qantarel.se/.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Thank you!

The pandemic was undoubtedly a challenging period for so many of us, and it shaped my own journey with grief, burnout, growth and resilience, deeply influencing my approach as a coach.

You see, just when the pandemic hit, I received the devastating news that my father was diagnosed with stomach cancer.

And, due to the pandemic restrictions, our family was unable to be by his side during his treatment.

It was an incredibly isolating and heartbreaking experience.

In response, I made the decision to fully self isolate during his treatment so to be sure that I would not risk giving him the coronavirus.

For this entire year, I worked remotely as the head of community at Quora and continued my individual coaching work remotely, as well.

My entire focus outside of work was on supporting my father and processing this immense grief, taking a huge toll on my personal life.

It became evident how important relationships and activity are for wellbeing, resilience and recovery, and even more so when working from home (!).

Tragically, my father passed away in hospice care, 6 weeks after we were allowed to visit him for the first time.

This was shattering.

I had neglected my own well being, and it caught up with me in severe stress and physical issues.

It was a wake up call that forced me to reevaluate my approach.

I realized that the tools and insights I’d been sharing with coaching clients were just as vital for my own healing and growth, however, I learned the hard way that wellness needs so much more seemingly unrelated input to stand strong over time

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

It is safe to say that it impacted my clients and myself, a great lot.

Mass layoffs and financial difficulties stirred up immense mental health challenges.

Many struggled to make ends meet and adapt to remote work, taking a toll on overall well being.

These challenges drove me to develop innovative resources for hybrid and remote teams, as well as to launch my wellness agency, Qantarel.

Because, it is more important today than ever to foster sustainable wellness in a self propelling way.

The pandemic has underscored the vital need for these kinds of solutions to support mental health and productivity, regardless of work environment.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

I realized no one can be truly healthy, happy and productive without a strong support system, the courage to fully feel all our emotions while constantly having immersive experiences that fulfill us in unexpected ways.

I am referring to the necessity of constantly challenging and indulging ourselves (read that twice), whether through learning new skills, exploring hobbies, or finding joy in food, art, music, locations, physical activities, and more.

This is all part of a sustainable and impactful approach to personal development and well being.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Sure!

My passion for people, behavior and meaningfulness started as early as I can remember.

Being born and raised in Sweden by South American parents I actually thought I was in a Spanish speaking country until I was left at kindergarten and heard Swedish for the first time.

This was a brutal initiation in the art of understanding human behavior and what actually makes us people tick.

My fascination grew when my optician told me I was colorblind.

It made me think, at 6 years of age, that “there is a reality behind our experience, that is strictly neutral information. This information is put together differently by us all, making me see colors differently”.

I remember thinking that if there is a process leading to how we experience reality, it is based on some sort of rules.

These rules can be understood and used to navigate our experience.

Ready, set, go!

Jumping 15 years forward I was hired at the institution of psychology while collecting data for my thesis, extending on my existential interest from childhood.

I highlighted the present moment as a mental representation and showed that people differ in regards to the level of abstraction in the construction of these representations of past, present and future events.

I learned that these differences can and should be understood, because they will severely impact our emotions and behavior.

After 4 years of teaching psychology I was in love with that spark in people’s eyes when they understood something new about their psychology, and I could sense the immense potential for personal growth that lies therein.

This was the foundation of my first 3 years working full time as an existential conversational coach in 2014.

It was my fierce mission to help people understand how we can use the principles of perception to find meaning in life, and use this as an antidote for depression and as a source of happiness and creativity.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

This is a very interesting question.

I like to call this phenomenon “the bow and arrow”, the friction in our lives, challenges, problems, and hurdles can be seen as pulling the arrow back, putting strain on the bow.

The ways we survive these challenges build new skills within us.

When we stop focusing on the pain and notice the value, it’s like releasing the arrow, the new place it reaches represents our gift to the world.

Knowing this makes hardships easier to endure, as the time spent in pain can be significantly shortened.

The above, framed in my personal perspective: growing up trilingual in Sweden, as well as my experiences working remotely while overcoming grief and burnout, have taught me the importance of emotional intelligence, recovery, resilience, joy, and healthy relationships.

These are the gifts I aim to share going forward.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I’m on a crusade to challenge conventional approaches to building psychological safety, to active listening as a technique and to wellness as a whole.

Allow me to elaborate!

The coaching world is saturated with strategies for cultivating psychological safety, yet they overlook the vital role of emotional intelligence.

You can solicit feedback, encourage diverse perspectives, and constantly ask how you can help, but without emotional intelligence, these tactics won’t genuinely build trust and safety.

The same goes for active listening.

If we’re checking the boxes of active listening techniques, the person speaking will intuitively sense the inauthenticity.

True active listening stems from our own personal development, it’s about who we’ve become, not just what we do.

When we lack the headspace to listen attentively, emotional intelligence helps us communicate that upfront, which itself builds trust.

Emotional intelligence is the foundation for creating psychological safety and authentic connections.

It’s non negotiable for leaders, teams, families, partners, anyone striving for healthy, meaningful relationships.

Similarly, behavioral science shows that our personal lives are the primary source of recovery and resilience.

After 5 years of fully remote work, I’ve seen firsthand how strains in our personal relationships directly impact our work performance.

That’s why I’ve developed a program specifically for hybrid and remote teams, using their personal lives as a source of productivity and renewal.

Given the explosive growth of remote work and mental health challenges, I gently urge you to check out my innovative approach at www.remoteam.se.

My innovative approach to wellness as a whole is shaped by my own journey through post pandemic burnout.

I’ve learned that true, sustainable wellbeing requires regular input from diverse, even unexpected sources.

This means nurturing a sense of fun, adventure and discovery.

Constantly challenging ourselves, learning new skills, and exposing ourselves to beauty, art and immersive experiences.

The key is cultivating a rich, multifaceted life (!).

Wellness requires joyful physical pursuits, mastering central nervous system regulation, creative expression, and personal growth.

With this in mind, I’m pioneering an innovative wellness agency, Qantarel, that blends psychology, proven mind body techniques, and exciting events and retreats.

Whether you need personal support or your organization seeks to elevate employee performance and wellbeing, Qantarel offers this cutting edge, multidisciplinary approach.

Explore our services at www.qantarel.se and sign up!

We would love to connect with anyone reading this and wanting to learn how to integrate this approach into their lives.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

Besides what I have shared so far, the core of my unique coaching approach is using the brain’s perceptual processes as a framework to make personal development tangible and relatable for clients.

Fundamentally, our attention span is very limited holding about 10% of the information we have gathered throughout our lives, at a time.

The remaining 90% can be understood as unconscious assumptions that shape how we perceive ourselves and the world around us.

For example, when my mother bought a new white Volvo, I suddenly started noticing white Volvos everywhere, even though they were there all along.

A pregnant woman may start seeing baby carriages more frequently, and so on.

Our 10% attention span only picks up on the information that aligns with our 90% subconscious assumptions, if that makes sense?

Now, imagine the white Volvos being a negative self image, we could be receiving constant confirmation that we are loved, but it wont get registered until we reshape our assumptions.

This is where the power of my approach lies.

By surfacing and addressing those deep seated assumptions, whether related to depression, low self esteem, or any other challenge, we can actively reshape the emotions, and experiences generated for the 10% conscious mind through a series of steps that break down the mountain into movable grains.

It’s a tangible, step by step process of ‘fishing up’ those subconscious building blocks, modifying them, and putting them back to create new patterns.

Even for clients who feel hopeless, this relatable framework provides a clear path forward.

It is easy to just focus on what colors of Volvos we see today and which we would like to see tomorrow.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Many of my clients have described an incredible sense of ease and joyfulness when they learn that what they need to do is not as dangerous or difficult as they initially thought!

Instead of struggling to get past certain emotions, I support them so as to feel safe to feel them, without getting stuck, alongside a structured way of extracting the information that needs to be found.

Parallel to supporting my clients in attaining specific goals, I’m very keen on making personal development a way of life, with seemingly unrelated micro situations designed to propel them forward.

This might include guided visualization exercises, habit building challenges, or group coaching sessions that allow clients to practice new skills in a supportive environment.

And now that I’ve initiated both the program for remote workers and the multidisciplinary wellness agency, there’s access to a wealth of value and resources.

I gently urge all readers to send me a message and learn more about all of this!

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Overall, I seek to stay organized, connected, and productive with my clients, no matter where they’re located.

Video, messaging, and collaboration tools help streamline our workflows and keep projects moving forward smoothly.

Zoom and Teams are go to`s for video conferencing and screen sharing during meetings, allowing us to collaborate in real time.

Depending on the client’s location, I’ll also utilize WhatsApp or Slack, as useful tools for international clients.

The flexibility to adapt my approach based on the client’s preferences and needs is crucial.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

I love this.

Please, pass me that megaphone!

I know exactly what I would say:

Feel everything!

We have all learned to avoid certain feelings, and certain parts of ourselves.

By doing so we are painting ourselves into corners that require the justification of suffering, our own and that of others.

All emotions are important parts of the human experience.

Yet we’ve built up layers of defense mechanisms to keep them at bay.

We numb ourselves.

We put on a brave face.

We power through.

But the truth is, if we just allow ourselves to feel it all, deeply and fully, the dust will settle.

Feel everything!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The greatest lesson I’ve learned is the value of empathy and keeping an open mind.

Growing up colorblind taught me that we can all perceive the same situation very differently.

This has cultivated deep curiosity in me, I know I can never fully understand another person’s experience or motivations, and that is a resource.

Rather than believing my automatic judgments, I’m always eager to learn more about what’s driving the behavior of others.

Approaching the world with humility and a willingness to feel difficult emotions and to consider new perspectives is vital.

It’s led to far richer connections and a more nuanced understanding of the human experience.

Your final thoughts?

There’s certainly a lot more to explore on the topics I’ve touched upon so far.

I’d welcome the opportunity to dive deeper through further discussion and interaction, please feel free to reach out, as I’m always happy to connect.

Send me a hello! on LinkedIn, or send me a message through my webpages.

I always answer everyone myself!

One key takeaway I’d emphasize is the importance of aligning our lives with how our brain processes information.

It’s about swimming with the currents, so to speak.

Another crucial point is the need to occasionally shift our focus away from immediate challenges in order to overcome them.

Cultivating emotional intelligence, for instance, or having a thriving physical life, helps us navigate obstacles more effectively.

Ultimately, the boundaries separating our personal and professional lives have grown increasingly blurred.

It’s time we address this head on with a multi disciplinary approach to our lives.

Meet Life Coach Veronica Galipo:

find-life-coach-veronica-galipo

Name: Veronica Galipo

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to discover their true selves and remove everything that’s blocking them from being and feeling their innate freedom.

How they can help: By using various “divine guidance tools” and techniques that help the individual to become more aware and remove blocks.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Thank you for asking.

There is a newfound appreciation for those times.

The pandemic energy allowed us to reflect on our freedom and how important it was to have inner soul freedom no matter what outside voices or restrictions are placed on us.

When you know freedom comes from within, then little outside can affect you.

When you have inner security, you sit less in fear and uncertainty.

We have grown more aware of appreciating our choices, each other, and Mother Nature more than ever.

All in all, it brought my family and me so much closer, and my inner faith grew.

The journey we all went through during those times unconsciously allowed for more self discovery, self care, world discovery, and world care, which inevitably creates new shifts and transformations.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

All in different ways, the effects came from the changes in their regular stable life, leading to feelings and doubts about their safety.

Everyone was struck with overwhelming feelings of being unsafe and uncertain from their physical world, their body fears and the mind stories that took over.

We instinctively constantly search to feel safe, when anything rocks this and brings up feelings of uncertainty, everything feels more challenging, and all fears can take over.

With time, I encouraged both my world and clients to create new certainties and safe spaces.

They were creating routines and rituals that became familiar and created a sense of safety and inner strength.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

It’s more of the same special: a whole lot of self awareness about my ability to cope, to be at peace, to share my voice, to heal, to grow and very importantly, the power of self care, self love, patience, kindness, and compassion within and outward worldwide.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

My mission is to guide every soul to allow themselves to make space and energy for self devotion and self awareness that eventuates to true humble self love, where they step into inner power.

The power of discovering one’s truth through my coaching allows clients to live with a deep knowledge of themselves, empowering all personal growth and cultivating authentic living.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Sadly and gratefully, there have been many considerable obstacles, amongst them all, the most significant and common thread was my lack of self love and awareness.

This was evident in not knowing who I was and not having a strong foundation or soul presence to cope, heal or voice myself.

Over time, I realised I had accepted that what people thought, suggested, or how they treated me was what I deserved.

I believed everyone knew what was best for me, and in turn, I set unconscious precedence on how I would be treated, which unfortunately created massive, impactful situations and experiences.

In every relationship, from family to girlfriends to partners, I followed their ways and needs and shrunk myself and my voice.

One can only hold this for so long until the nervous system yells in suffocation and starvation.

This was when I realised that I had to do something as I was not surviving like this.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I innovate Self love growth and strengthening by recognising that each individual’s journey towards self discovery and empowerment is unique.

By customising my methods and offering each individual what they need, I help clients uncover their true selves, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful, lasting change.

This personalised strategy enhances their self discovery journey and drives their success and fulfilment.

My coaching approach blends techniques from various dynamic modalities, powerful questions, mindset reset concepts, and mindfulness practices to create a unique bespoke coaching experience that resonates and nurtures each client’s needs and aspirations.

My philosophy addresses the deeper layers of self understanding and growth.

I aim to help clients tap into their inner warrior spirit and wilding free inner flow, guiding them to uncover their innate strengths, values, and passions.

Through introspective exercises, reflective questioning, and experiential learning, clients gain clarity about who they are and what they truly desire in life.

They also learn to hold themselves in high, respectful energy and always support their truth while living humbly and with compassion and consideration for others and the world.

I always integrate principles of self love and self devotion in every aspect of the coaching journey, especially with discovering diamonds in each obstacle and trauma.

I value creating a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts, emotions, and beliefs without judgment and with insight and strength.

Through compassionate listening and unconditional support, individuals feel empowered to embrace their vulnerabilities, celebrate their achievements, and cultivate a deep sense of self acceptance and self compassion, understanding that these are the foundations of personal growth and authentic living.

I encourage clients to live authentically and on their own terms, yet always with appreciation and respect for where others may be in their journey.

With this in mind, I guide them through limiting beliefs and triggers that may hinder each client from fully expressing themselves, pursuing their dreams, and living and coping with all aspects of life, including all people who cross their paths and all situations that arise.

Encouraging clients to align their beliefs and actions with their true values and passions helps every individual bridge and heal through the gaps, fears and unconscious hold backs.

With this inner empowered mind, body, and soul energy, they can lead fulfilling, heart aligned, purpose driven lives that resonate with their authentic selves while staying humble and wanting to be of more extraordinary service with love and compassion.

I stand strong and continuously aim to adapt and evolve my approach to meet each client’s needs while staying true to the core principles of self love, self devotion, and authentic, responsible living.

I empower them to become the greatest, brightest versions of themselves, to live and ride their soul growth, to allow them to step into the true conviction that they are their own greatest healers and, of course, to fulfil their soul contracts, whatever that may be.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

The strongest element in my coaching approach is knowing that each human being has all they need to Rebuild, Empower, Awaken, resolve, Transform, and Reclaim their shine.

This invites individuals to step into their own personal transformation, where they choose and step into their life power, whether it’s shedding limitations or finding a voice in its thread with their truth, they finally embrace their inner strength and live authentically.

Living with a deeper understanding of themselves, their desires, and their potential so they know they can experience any journey they wish.

Living aligned with this inner strength, empowered freedom, means living with a sense of purpose, authenticity, and inner peace.

As individuals gain powerful awareness and tools to self reassure, they become more resilient in facing challenges.

They are self empowered to break free from societal expectations, fears, and self doubt, allowing them to embrace their authentic selves unapologetically and with a loving, nurturing, accepting space.

This will enable them to control what holds them back and what lifts them and drives them.

Empowered free energy encourages individuals to pursue their dreams boldly, take risks, and step outside their comfort zones, supporting themselves through obstacles and barriers.

They embrace the Warrior Wilding free spirit within them, seeking adventure, growth, and new experiences.

This enlightened self love, self devotion, and compassion allow for a nurtured deep sense of fulfilment and joy in their lives.

In essence, and more importantly, they wake up with inner resilience and faith, knowing they can rely on this inner strength no matter what.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

The benefits vary profoundly:

My divine clients have sat in a lifetime of limiting identities, old stuck stories, and fatal diagnoses that trapped them in many ways.

One particular client I recall was so trapped in her diagnosis that she stayed in her room and avoided all areas of life, from socialising to activities other than work.

After working with me through my program, she no longer caged herself.

Instead, she began taking risks and is now travelling the world, backpacking, and creating life changing businesses, from dance to yoga and self made products, and living a truly enhanced lifestyle.

I have also had clients who honestly had no idea who they were and what they wanted, only that they felt like they were in someone else’s skin.

They are now living soulfully connected, waking up feeling familiar, confident, and so strong in their voice, actions, and emotions rather than all these taking over externally.

Sadly and powerfully, many clients felt they had no voice, were unseen, and felt totally unworthy of any self rights to exist their way authentically and with soul truth.

Each client’s journey of self healing and inner power has blown them away and also blown me away.

The choice to step into taking charge of powerful inner change and self curiosity has allowed them to know themselves so much that they have a voice and know that they don’t have to use it unless they want to, as they are enough.

They finally come back to that awareness and have everything they need within themselves.

They are true miracles.

I am so blessed.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

My toolbox, or “divine guidance tools”, as I like to see them, are both dynamic and traditional, from guiding energy shifts from the body and memories to kick butt blocks and limited beliefs and thoughts that everyone unfortunately and unconsciously grips onto for survival.

I have a strong appreciation and knowledge of using values, both shadow and light, to shift mental blocks and resistances.

The power of the mind and our bodies depends on what we think, speak, and feel, reflected in our actions.

It is a powerful aligned awareness, if not controlled and used for our benefit, a detriment to our existence.

In truth, my methods allow each individual to find their own intuitive aligned answers to get them whole body, heartedly and mindfully to live aligned and in peace within themselves from their skin to their thoughts.

I am the guide and interpreter of their own shifts to heal and shine.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Take every chance you can to reflect on life through lenses of Gratitude and Love for every area of existence: yourself, other people at every level of attachment to strangers, nature and all its beauty and glory, and the majesty of the world.

When one sits in these vibrations, all levels of healing and shifts occur with such flow and ease.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The absolute core lesson I feel I have learnt and which has empowered my life the most is that everything I have, feel, and do in my life is up to and because of me.

I am fully responsible for what I draw into me, what triggers me, and what I do with all that comes my way, both within and externally.

I am the only person that can create, choose to change, enhance, and inspire.

My energy is a direct reflection of what I draw in.

My vibration in thought, emotion, and belief is my responsibility, so I know I can shift it as I need and desire.

I can never blame others because I have control.

This is both powerful and sometimes difficult to face with many people.

Yet, if we all sat in this state, we could have the life we choose and experience free of assumptions, expectations, and stuck perspectives.

True freedom!!!

Your final thoughts?

In closing, I truly believe that embracing our inherent “WOWness,” acknowledging the miracle of our existence, and recognising our worthiness is essential.

If we treated ourselves with the same unconditional love and support we feel for our children, we would never doubt our value.

Through my own life growth and studies, I have been blessed to be guided to create a life enhancing coaching path that I share with each individual to engage in a transformative journey that integrates the principles of shifting, shedding, and shining into their light with self awareness, self responsibility, and love, all grounded in appreciation.

I strongly believe and stand by these vital life principles:

1. Welcoming Transformation:

When we decide to step into new unknowns, we get back to our playful ways of being curious about everything.

This allows us to experiment and try.

Choosing change is how we become resilient.

When we embrace change and growth, we shed limiting beliefs and patterns that keep us trapped.

We allow our true selves to shine with freedom and authenticity by choosing to change.

2. Deepening Self Awareness:

Enhancing self awareness allows us to gain deeper insights into our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, empowering us to make conscious choices aligned with our values and aspirations.

Committing to ongoing self reflection, learning, and growth is key to navigating life’s shifts and lifting ourselves to new heights.

The power lies in taking ownership of our own well being and embracing the journey of self discovery and transformation.

3. Empowering Self Responsibility:

When we take responsibility for our actions and outcomes, we embrace our inherent power to shape our reality and create positive change.

By shifting our perspective to consider others and their circumstances and be accountable to ourselves, we open ourselves to uplifting empathy and understanding, creating a ripple effect of compassion and connection.

4. Embracing Love and Compassion:

Self compassion is the heart of personal growth and empowerment.

We must become mindful and responsible for our self talk, which allows us to become aware of our emotions: then, we can take aligned, empowering actions, becoming our own strongest support network rather than our harshest critics.

With a foundation of love and compassion, we hold ourselves and others, creating a supportive and uplifting environment for growth.

5. Developing Gratitude and Abundance:

Integrating a mindset of gratitude for ourselves and the world around us creates positivity and abundance in our lives.

Appreciating the blessings and lessons in our lives, we develop gratitude and soul wealth, attracting more positivity into our journey.

A gracious attitude of gratitude is the true foundation of a joyous existence.

In essence, it’s about recognising our inherent worthiness and embracing the journey of self discovery and transformation, treating ourselves with the same love and compassion we offer others.

When we truly consider our own worth as we do our loved ones and embrace self love, free of guilt, we break free from the cycle of self doubt and criticism.

Let’s begin by acknowledging our “WOWness,” the miracle of our existence, and understanding that each life step is an opportunity for growth and self acceptance.

As we shift our perspective and life strategies, we create a ripple effect of positivity and abundance in our own lives and the world around us.

It’s about making time to learn, reflect, and shift, recognising that true change starts from within and radiates outwards, shaping our reality and inspiring others to do the same.

When we choose to empower change within, the world transforms.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

I have a college aged daughter and my whole family (sister, two brothers and my mom) lives nearby on the front range of Colorado.

We are all doing mostly great since the Pandemic times.

Certainly there have been ups and downs but for the majority of the time we are all highly functioning people who like to spend time together having fun.

Except for the fact that it happened I don’t think any of us are experiencing long term affects, or negative ramifications from the Pandemic that we know of.

Things during the pandemic were stressful on many levels and I watched myself ride an edge on self regulation.

We all supported each other and we were lucky to have one another so close by.

But I saw people and community members struggling, in my office and online, lots of regular folks challenged by the stress of isolation, lockdowns, job losses, kids at home for school, the fear about getting sick, the media frenzy and all the political turmoil, were rocking a good portion of the population’s worlds.

I saw a lot of service providers burning the candle at both ends providing services to the community during the Pandemic.

Flexibility is a thing and everyday I saw through my clients and my family that the more flexible people are, and can become, the more easily they are able to navigate the challenges of life.

When people can’t successfully manage the stressors of life they often see a professional.

Hundreds of those people come to me.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

The Pandemic affected my clients in different ways, just like with everyone on the planet.

What I noticed first is that the clients I had before the pandemic who were mostly high functioning perceived, at least initially, that the lockdowns and work from home orders were a reprieve from commuting, etc. and they relaxed on therapy and stayed home and rested.

This actually resolved some stress.

What I experienced next is receiving a huge influx of inquiries from new clients, people who weren’t doing so well before the lockdowns and the lockdowns really affected them, stressed them more, and therapy became the “new thing”.

My practice grew to overfull in a matter of months and I tried to keep up best I could until I realized I couldn’t help everyone who called…

And I put the brakes on so I could figure out a way to help more people without wearing myself down.

That’s when I started teaching classes to other therapists who were drained as well, from the influx of new clients.

I’ve also had a significant increase in teachers and nurses on my caseload.

So the burnout recovery series I teach now came into being through those experiences with clients in my office during the pandemic.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

There were lots of big lessons to be learned during the pandemic.

To start I have to say “don’t work so hard that you lose sight of what’s most important in life.”

My daughter is a treasure and I was working so hard during the pandemic that I didn’t notice when she was struggling with online high school and the isolation of lockdowns.

That was awful to realize.

Now I’m focussed on helping other helpers remember what’s important to them besides helping others.

Another thing I learned during the pandemic is that even though families may disagree it’s still really awesome when we can love each other in spite of our differences.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I “coach” people on how to have healthy relationships with themselves and how to actualize their potential so they can be all they want to be.

This can be tricky business.

I’ve worked on the illness side of things for some time, mentoring disadvantaged teens in my youth, counseling teens in my 30s and then providing clinical counseling following my graduate education in my 40s.

People struggle.

This is true everywhere.

I’ve always “coached” people to be happier, and over time I’ve realized that the best way to help others be happier is to teach them how to be happy within themselves.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Probably the biggest obstacle I’ve had to overcome in my life is the period between late childhood and early adolescence.

During that time there was a lot of chaos in my family and unfortunately I was neglected and had a deficit of guidance and containment.

My late teen years and early adult life was spent kind of spinning out because of early life and I made a lot of mistakes.

I also had a lot of great learning experiences throughout that time that opened doors for me to mindfulness, meditation, and holistic medicine which led me to do the work I do today.

This gives me some perspective on the silver lining concept of life.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

The way I innovate students, in my office and in online classes, is to teach them a self development process called HIKE4evolution that helps them transform themselves from the inside out.

The process is a series of practices that are learned step by step, and they build on each other creating greater focus and concentration, reduced symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, increased self image and self esteem, and overall more optimal function.

Over time the practices and the understanding generated by learning about the concepts builds flexibility in self expression and in relationship to self and others.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

My coaching, or education model is unique because it combines ancient wisdom with modern concepts such as biofeedback and neurofeedback.

Because I have a therapist background there’s a level of mental health support and emotional wellbeing support in my coaching and teaching that can only be offered because of the education I have combined with my lived experience.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

My clients have said funny and wonderful things to me like, “I really try to put the gospel you preach to me to good use.”

That made me think, hmmmm “the gospel of Alistair” and then I laughed at myself.

Clients have thanked me for teaching them the power of positive thinking and the benefits of mindful movement and conscious awareness.

In addition, my clients and students report feeling less stress, more joy, more self acceptance, healthier and happier relationships, and better boundaries.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

The best tools I can offer to people to transform themselves on a daily basis are simple and multidisciplinary, meaning they are found in many traditions.

6 ways people can heal and transform themselves on a daily basis:

  1. Ground, stay grounded in yourself, in your life.
  2. Know how to center yourself and what that feels like.
  3. Hone your senses, stay awake to them but detached from them.
  4. Spend time focussing your mind. Practice focussing.
  5. Move your body.
  6. Be aware.

These concepts are simple and when applied for a short time on a daily basis have a profound affect on one’s ability to be present in what I like to call this most wonderful NOW moment.

And, for those of you who want to check your burnout versus vitality level you can take the Burnout Check up which will give you some data on your level of optimal function.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Have peace in your heart.

Work toward the greater good.

Solve problems without violence.

Manage your energy and your life with openness, detachment, and discernment.

Have a daily practice of inner work that transforms you from the inside out.

Do what you can to evolve.

Do the work you love.

Enjoy!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

I’ve learned a lot of great lessons in my life… one of the best is to keep learning, no matter what.

To set goals regularly (thanks, Anne!), have grace with myself, and practice self acceptance.

Other lessons that feel important are to stay open to conflict resolution and to people’s differences and needs.

Also, be mindful, do my inner work, and care about things that are bigger than me like world peace and humanity’s evolution.

I want this for everyone.

Your final thoughts?

Thank you for this opportunity to share myself with your readers.

I look forward to reading more about the many coaches who read and contribute to your publication.

See you on the path!

Find Life Coach | Meet Danielle Duncan: How to Equip Yourself with The Right Tools for Greatness?

Danielle Duncan is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her honesty and professionalism.

Her path to becoming a life coach was shaped by her innate desire to serve and support others. From a young age, she believed she was destined for greatness, not out of arrogance, but because of the joy she found in bringing happiness to others. This intrinsic motivation, coupled with a kind heart and a nurturing spirit, led her to embrace a career in life coaching, where she could use her empathetic nature to make a significant impact on the lives of those around her.

Her journey has not been without its challenges though. As if this wasn’t enough, she faced the devastating loss of her brother. These profound experiences of loss and adversity pushed Dani to seek solace in meditation, journaling, and her faith, ultimately fortifying her mental resilience and deepening her commitment to helping others.

Her innovative approach blends mindfulness techniques, visualization practices, and personalized action plans to create a tailored coaching experience for each client. Her transparency and non judgmental demeanor foster a safe space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts without fear of awkwardness or judgment. Meet Life Coach Danielle Duncan:

find-life-coach-danielle-duncan

Name: Danielle Duncan

Pillar: The Mind

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to equip themselves with the right tools for a smooth journey toward personal and professional transformation.

How they can help: By using various tools and techniques like journaling, mindfulness techniques, visualization practices, and customized action plans just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

My family and I are thriving.

The pandemic presented challenges, especially for me as a former Event Promoter transitioning into a Life Coach.

The inability to host in person events was tough for this self proclaimed social butterfly.

However, embracing virtual platforms brought unexpected advantages, such as saving on expenses like venue and food costs.

It was a learning curve, but ultimately it provided more flexibility.

And hey, who doesn’t love saving a few bucks?

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

After a year of running my coaching business, I had become comfortable with conducting all appointments virtually.

This decision proved beneficial for both myself and my clients, ensuring a seamless experience from the start.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

Gratitude is often overlooked by us humans.

We should appreciate the simple blessings such as waking up, breathing, and walking, as well as being in a sound state of mind.

These are the things we often fail to see as true blessings.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, with three older brothers in a single parent household.

From a young age, I believed I was destined for greatness.

While it may sound a bit self assured, hear me out!

I have always found joy in bringing happiness to others, giving me an adrenaline rush.

It became clear to me that my purpose in life was to serve and support people, whether through lending an ear, small gestures, or offering my assistance.

I was determined to make a positive impact on the world in my own way.

Blessed with a kind heart and a love for nurturing others, I have always felt a strong maternal instinct.

Throughout my life, I have naturally taken on the role of a life coach, as people have consistently turned to me for advice on various matters.

Even strangers have felt comfortable opening up to me about their personal struggles without prompt.

Recognizing my gift for connecting with others and my empathetic nature, I decided to pursue a career as a life coach, as I believe these qualities are essential for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

In April 2022, I faced a major challenge when I was struck by a drunk driver, causing me to sit out the rest of the year and undergo physical therapy due to severe pain.

Just three months later, one of my brothers was tragically involved in a murder, suicide.

It’s safe to say that 2022 was the most difficult year of my life as I experienced significant losses.

This turmoil took a toll on my mental health, prompting me to seek professional help.

It was during this time that I found solace in meditation, journaling, and leaning on my faith for strength.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

At Root and Revive Life Coaching Services, I am dedicated to continuous innovation in order to offer top tier support and guidance to my clients.

I integrate a diverse range of methods and resources during coaching sessions to assist clients in gaining fresh insights, conquering obstacles, and reaching their objectives.

Through the utilization of mindfulness techniques, visualization practices, customized action plans, and accountability structures, I aim to establish a vibrant and individualized coaching journey for every client.

By keeping abreast of cutting edge coaching developments and studies, I am equipped to adjust my strategies to cater to the distinct requirements of each individual, empowering them to unleash their full potential.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I consider myself to be quite transparent.

I create a non judgmental space for people to be themselves, and you can sense that from me.

You can feel comfortable discussing anything with me, knowing that I won’t make you feel awkward.

Even if the topic seems unusual, I have a knack for maintaining a poker face.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

They will be equipped with all essential tools to support their growth in both personal and professional endeavors, offering them confidence and support whenever required.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

I highly recommend journaling.

While some may argue, “But Dani, I’m not a writer,” you don’t need to be a professional writer to express your thoughts and emotions on paper.

Your journal is not a work of fiction, it’s a record of your real life.

By journaling, you are documenting your journey and can refer back to it five years later as you continue to heal.

Witnessing your progress and personal growth will inspire and motivate you, proving that you have overcome challenges and demonstrating your resilience.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Embrace self love and empower yourself to shape the life you desire.

Refuse to be confined by others’ expectations and embrace your true, authentic self unapologetically.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

Live your life to the fullest by not allowing fear to paralyze you.

There have been things I’ve always wanted to do, but fear held me back.

I didn’t feel prepared and worried about judgment or lack of support.

It’s important to practice self care.

I’ve been in constant grind mode for as long as I can remember.

After experiencing burnout and getting sick with the coronavirus, I realized the importance of taking care of myself.

I no longer need to be constantly in grind mode.

It’s okay to prioritize my well being by rescheduling meetings or taking breaks when needed.

I don’t have to overfill my plate.

It’s okay to say no to others and say yes to myself.

Your final thoughts?

I hope that everyone experiences prosperity, love, and peace, and practices kindness.

If you ever require my assistance, I am here for you.

I would be delighted to support you on your path.

Find Life Coach | Meet Susan Thomas: How to Transform from a Leader to an Inspirational Guide?

Susan Thomas is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her innovativeness and experience.

She is guiding leaders through the intricate landscapes of personal and professional development. With an impressive 28 year career dedicated to enhancing soft skills, she empowered thousands of leaders to rise to new heights, blending emotional intelligence, effective communication, and the vital acceptance of failure as a stepping stone to growth.

She champions the creation of coaching cultures within organizations, which can dramatically reduce turnover rates by 72%, resulting in substantial savings and a more motivated workforce. Her innovative Inspire Network membership offers a treasure trove of resources designed to alleviate stress, boost motivation, and foster a harmonious work and life integration.

She reveals how early experiences with a demanding coach instilled limiting beliefs, which she has transformed into empowering mantras through years of introspection and personal growth. This just proves how important it is to have the right coach by your side. Her unique coaching approach, which marries mindfulness with the complexities of business needs, aims to create balanced, motivated leaders who inspire their teams. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Susan Thomas:

find-life-coach-susan-thomas

Name: Susan Thomas

Pillar: The Mind

Who is this coach for: Any leader who wants support and guidance to become the best version of themselves that they were born to be, an inspirational guide.

How they can help: By using various coaching tools and techniques, and a membership platform called Inspire Network where you can find knowledge, tools, and resources to reduce stress, increase motivation, boost self care, and improve work life integration.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Pandemic was a great way to pause, reflect and reframe and send me on my current journey.

It did come with some challenges (Son’s cancer) but a lot of insight and learning, which I am grateful for.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

During the pandemic, I worked with employees to ensure they stay connected with their wellbeing as well as the group (battling the isolation) and came up with innovative ways to fulfil their 6 human needs (remotely).

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

Communication: The Impact of Emotional Intelligence (Active listening, listen to understand not to reply, self reflection, self awareness, empathy and the connection of relationships to our happiness.)

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Think of me as Gandalf for leaders…

I work my soft skills magic to create environments for thriving, happy teams!

Over the past 28 years, I’ve helped thousands of leaders climb to their next level.

One of the most common questions I hear is, “What now? Where’s the manual on being a great leader?”

Traditional training often misses critical soft skills like Emotional Intelligence, effective communication, and embracing failure as a growth tool.

It’s frustrating to see latent talent lost to overwhelm and stress because leaders feel unequipped emotionally and mentally for the next step.

Did you know 1 in 3 employees leave due to bad management?

Organisations with a coaching culture have 72% fewer leavers, that’s big money saved!

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Biggest obstacle: The Power of words and the impact they can have on our lives

In my case: My coach from the age 13 to 19 demanding me to be the winner or the first loser.

This resulted in some huge limiting beliefs of not being good enough and not achieving.

I have spend the last 3 years through my human needs to get to know me and to reframe some of those limits to create new empowering beliefs.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

That’s why I created the Inspire Network membership.

For a fraction of a Netflix membership, I promise to provide the knowledge, tools, and resources to reduce stress, increase motivation, boost self care, and improve work life integration.

Imagine a happy workforce inspired to come to work with you!

I work with organisations too, who want to be creating a coaching culture for their teams.

The Inspire Network is a 5 step concept for inspirational leadership:

  1. Learn the building blocks to understand yourself and others.
  2. Build trust and excellence.
  3. Foster belonging.
  4. Cultivate leadership presence through pausing, reframing, and reflecting.
  5. Lead with a forward mindset Imagine a sanctuary of leaders of any level, a place where you’re not just a member, but part of a vibrant community.

Here, individuals driven by a shared quest for personal growth, balance, and support come together.

Picture this space as your personal empowerment hub, a treasure trove of soft skills mastery, where you learn, apply, and connect with like minded souls.

With resources at your fingertips and brainstorming sessions galore, this is where dreams take flight and journeys are transformed.

Welcome to the soft skills haven you’ve been searching for, join us and let’s embark on this journey together!

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I combine mindfulness with the complex needs of the business.

I am all about Integration and Alignment through communication.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Feeling in control of their leadership journey, balanced, motivated and supported to be creating environments where employees feel inspired to work for you.

Be the CEO of tomorrow that makes the workplace feel like a hobby.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Concept of the Mansion of the inspired Leader.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Be present, truly listen with no judgement, and see the world through others’ eyes.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

To trust my values and judge achievements through my lens.

Your final thoughts?

Without a coaching leadership style in your workplace people will waste valuable resources, talent and time as well as a lack of desire to be a leader in the future, creating a progression void.

This is The Zodiac Sign That Will Never Cheat…

When it comes to relationships, trust and loyalty are the cornerstones that hold everything together.

We’ve all heard the horror stories of infidelity and betrayal, but what if we told you there’s one zodiac sign known for its unwavering fidelity?

If you’re searching for a partner who will stand by your side through thick and thin, look no further than this astrological gem.

Taurus: The Zodiac’s Pillar of Loyalty

Taurus, born between April 20 and May 20, is often hailed as the most loyal sign in the zodiac.

Represented by the bull, Taurus individuals are known for their steadfastness, reliability, and strong moral compass.

Every Zodiac Sign has a unique energy thumbprint (strengths, weaknesses, desires and rules they are driven to follow). Taurus energy is literally forbidding them to cheat!

Let’s delve into what makes Taurus the paragon of faithfulness…

4 Reasons Why Taurus Will Never Cheat:

1. Innate Loyalty

Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love and beauty.

This influence imbues them with a deep appreciation for relationships and a desire for stability.

They value long term commitments and view their partners as life companions rather than temporary interests.

2. Strong Fear of Change

Change is unsettling for a Taurus.

They thrive in routine and predictability, making them less likely to seek excitement outside their established relationships.

The idea of cheating is antithetical to their nature as it disrupts their sense of security.

3. Unshakeable Moral Integrity

Tauruses have a strong ethical foundation.

They believe in honesty and integrity, not just in their relationships but in all aspects of life.

Cheating goes against their principles, making it an unlikely behavior for them.

4. Deep Emotional Investment

When a Taurus loves, they love deeply and wholly.

Their emotional investment in their partner is profound.

This deep bond makes them more inclined to work through issues rather than look for solace in someone else’s arms.

Taurus in Love: A Rock Solid Commitment

There is no other Zodiac Sign like Taurus when it comes to the mix of all these 4 traits.

They are literally the pillar of loyalty.

The chance of Taurus cheating on you is almost 0 and yes, of course, there are some exceptions in everything.

But the majority of Taurus people will not cheat.

If you’re lucky enough to be loved by a Taurus, cherish and appreciate their loyalty, it’s a treasure in the vast landscape of human relationships.

4 Ways How to Keep Your Taurus Happy:

1. Appreciate Their Efforts: Taurus individuals love to be appreciated for their hard work and dedication. A simple thank you can go a long way.

2. Create Stability: Help maintain a stable environment where they feel secure. Avoid unnecessary drama and surprises.

3. Be Honest: Honesty is paramount. A Taurus values straightforwardness and trustworthiness in their partner.

4. Show Physical Affection: Physical touch is crucial for Taurus. Regular hugs, kisses, and other forms of physical affection will keep the bond strong.

Share this article with your friends to spread the love and let them know that when it comes to unwavering loyalty, Taurus is the star of the show.

Whether you’re a Taurus yourself or have one in your life, celebrate the beautiful commitment they bring to their relationships.

The Dr. Dolores Show: “I’m Awake, Now What?”

By Dr. Dolores Fazzino, DNP, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Intuitive, Energy Whisperer

On this illuminating episode of The Dr. Dolores Show, viewers are invited on a journey to explore the profound question many find themselves asking upon waking up: “Now what?”

Dr. Dolores, with her characteristic warmth and wisdom, delves into the intricacies of starting the day with intention, purpose, and positivity.

With her signature blend of empathy and insight, Dr. Dolores examines the common challenges and uncertainties that accompany “the dawn of a new day”.

The Dr. Dolores Show: What Happens After The Awakening

the-dr-dolores-show-im-awake

“When you are waking up, it is like what had been your existence is no longer it is like the rug has been pulled out from you.”

Waking up spiritually is often described as a profound shift in perception.

It can feel disorienting, akin to having the familiar ground pulled out from beneath you.

This unsettling experience is the beginning of seeing the world through new eyes.

“Waking up is like seeing the truth of everything you used to believe as a lie.”

Awakening reveals the truth behind long held beliefs and assumptions.

As illusions fall away, a clearer, more authentic reality emerges, leading to a deeper understanding of life and existence.

“Waking up is like taking your power back for yourself.”

Through awakening, individuals reclaim their inherent power.

This empowerment comes from within, fostering a sense of autonomy and inner strength that was previously obscured.

Elevating Vibration and Perception

“As we raise our vibration and our frequency, we are able to see things that we were never able to see before.”

Raising our vibrational frequency enhances our perception, allowing us to access deeper truths and insights that were previously beyond our reach.

This heightened awareness can lead to significant personal and spiritual growth.

The Role of Manifestation and Energy

“We are manifesting things really quickly, and our mind doesn’t really filter if it is positive or negative.”

In the current energetic climate, manifestation occurs rapidly.

It’s crucial to maintain a positive focus, as our thoughts and intentions manifest into reality, regardless of their nature.

“When we hold onto things that energetically are no longer aligned with us, we keep ourselves stuck and small.”

Letting go of outdated energetic patterns is essential for growth.

Clinging to misaligned energies can hinder progress and keep us confined to a limited version of ourselves.

“Energy healing is a big yes. When we have blockages in our energy field, sometimes we need help from someone who can assist with that.”

Energy healing can be a powerful tool in clearing blockages and restoring balance.

Seeking assistance from experienced healers can facilitate this process, promoting overall well being.

Integration and Sharing Wisdom

“Integration is really important. The new information that you are learning integrates it into your life and leads by example.”

Assimilating new knowledge into daily life is crucial.

By embodying these insights and leading by example, we can inspire and uplift those around us.

“Share the light and wisdom you gain with others.”

Spreading the light and wisdom gained through personal growth enriches the collective consciousness.

Sharing these experiences helps others on their paths of awakening.

Befriending the Ego and Trusting Inner Guidance

“It is about befriending your ego, it is not about removing the ego.”

Rather than eliminating the ego, the goal is to understand and harmonize with it.

Befriending the ego allows for a balanced approach to self awareness and personal development.

“Trust the information you are getting from within because it is the right information for you, not your friend, not your neighbor.”

Inner guidance is unique to each individual.

Trusting this personal wisdom is key to navigating the path of awakening with confidence and authenticity.

But the exploration doesn’t stop there.

Recognizing that the journey toward personal growth is ongoing, Dr. Dolores dives deeper into the importance of staying present and adaptable amidst life’s inevitable twists and turns.

The Dr. Dolores Show: “HELP! Being Perfect Is Ruining My Life!”

By Dr. Dolores Fazzino, DNP, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Intuitive, Energy Whisperer

In this captivating episode on the Dr. Dolores Show, we delve into the struggles of individuals whose relentless pursuit of being perfect has become a burden too heavy to bear.

From carefully edited social media personas to meticulously planned career paths, people’s lives seem flawless on the surface.

However, beneath the facade lies a constant battle with anxiety, self doubt, and the suffocating pressure of impossibly high standards.

As they reach their breaking point, they find themselves trapped in a cycle of self sabotage, unable to accept anything less than perfection in every aspect of their lives.

Struggling to maintain the facade while feeling increasingly isolated and overwhelmed, they realize that their relentless pursuit of perfection has come at a steep cost.

The Dr. Dolores Show: The 7 Fold Path to Overcoming Perfectionism

the-dr-dolores-show-being-perfect-is-ruining-my-life

Perfectionism can be a heavy burden, affecting our mental and emotional well being.

It often stems from deeper psychological factors and societal pressures.

Here, we explore the 7 fold path to overcoming perfectionism, embracing self acceptance, and fostering personal growth.

1. Recognize the Energies You Absorb

We often unknowingly absorb various energies from our environments, shaping our thoughts and behaviors.

Becoming aware of these external influences is the first step in managing their impact on us.

By acknowledging how our surroundings affect us, we can better maintain a healthier mental and emotional state.

2. Understand the Deeper Issues Behind Perfectionism

Perfectionism is more than just wanting to do things right, it often hides deeper psychological issues.

One significant driver is the fear of failure, which can push us to adopt perfectionist tendencies.

This fear acts as a coping mechanism to fit in and gain acceptance from others.

Recognizing this can help us address the root causes of our perfectionist behaviors.

3. Compete Only With Yourself

Instead of comparing ourselves to others, we should focus on competing with ourselves.

Personal growth is a unique journey, and setting boundaries is essential.

By concentrating on self improvement and internal validation, we can foster a healthier sense of self worth and achievement.

4. Embrace the Shades of Grey

Life is rarely black and white, it exists in many shades of grey.

This understanding is crucial for overcoming perfectionism.

Recognizing the complexities and nuances in situations can help reduce the pressure to meet unrealistic standards.

Embracing life’s ambiguities allows us to approach challenges with greater flexibility and resilience.

5. Accept Mistakes as Part of Growth

Constant pressure to be perfect can lead to chronic stress and anxiety.

It’s important to accept that making mistakes is a natural part of learning and growing.

By acknowledging that errors are inevitable, we can alleviate some of the burdens associated with perfectionism and open the door to more meaningful personal development.

6. Patch the Hole in Your Bucket

Striving for external perfection can drain our energy and joy, creating a metaphorical hole in our bucket.

To address this, we need to shift our focus from outward appearances to inner fulfillment.

Prioritizing our well being and authentic self helps preserve our emotional resources and enhances our overall quality of life.

7. Celebrate Life

Finally, it’s essential to celebrate life and cherish every moment.

Embracing imperfections and valuing our unique journey allows us to live more fully and authentically.

Shifting our mindset from constant striving to appreciation can significantly enhance our happiness and well being.

By celebrating life and its imperfections, we foster genuine self acceptance and create a more joyful existence.

Follow this 7 fold path to transform your approach to perfectionism and unlock a more balanced and joyful existence.

“Help, Being Perfect is Ruining My Life” is a compelling exploration of the pressures of modern day perfectionism and the transformative power of self acceptance.
