Meet Life Coach Abby Hussein:

find-life-coach-abby-hussein

Name: Abby Hussein
Pillar: The Mind
Who is this coach for: Mainly for women who want feel stuck in life and want to update a better mindset.
How they can help: By using plethora of NLP techniques and lots of coaching exercises, questions.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

We are all good thank you. Hope you and yours are too. It’s been a tough one seeing as we are all on the vulnerable list so the risks are higher, but we keep a positive mindset and do what we can to stay safe.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

As I mainly work with women, the pandemic has been really tough for them.

Working from home, home schooling and sustaining a career in an uncertain climate has been a challenge, but with the right mindset, all obstacles can be overcome and we can still thrive instead of just surviving.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

We must make up our minds and to do that, we need knowledge.

Gather the right people around that lift your spirits.

Life is not guaranteed, so do what makes you happy and peace will come.

Most importantly, be genuinely kind to others, you never know what they are facing.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I have always worked in a customer service industry, and used to sell services.

I started coaching when I had my baby boy. As a single mum, I realized that I need to do more than just provide the basics.

I wanted to raise a decent and thriving human being and knew that to accomplish that I had to start with me and set the example. I believe in “do what I do not do as I say”.

I started on my self improvement journey in 2008, and my life changed dramatically for the better.

I took a foundation course in psychosynthesis counseling before discovering that coaching is my calling.

I am also a master NLP practitioner as my passion is understanding how the human brain functions and how to shift beliefs and mindset to improve perspective and enhance lives.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Growing up in a Muslim household, ruled by a narcissistic father, I had to deal and heal from a lot of trauma and work really hard to create an empowering belief system.

Un-learning destructive coping mechanisms and re-learning a new way of being centered in self love wasn’t easy, but it has taught me a lot and this helps me help my clients achieve their goals.

We are all a continuous work in progress and as some of us are just further along our journey than others. I believe it is our job to make it easier for others along the way, a guide if you like.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I use a fusion of techniques with my clients as no two people are the same so it’s really important to me to create a tailored program specifically for each client, a really in depth and detailed discovery session where we hash out all their ideas and dreams and get really clear on their ultimate goal.

It’s surprising what people think they want as opposed to what they really need.

This is where the magic begins.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

My coaching is tailor made to fit each client.

We are all unique should be treated and celebrated that way. I build a community, not a practice.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Tools and techniques that they can use over and over again by themselves.

I teach them to help themselves as I don’t believe in creating codependent relationships, which are draining to both the client and the coach.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

A plethora of NLP techniques and lots of coaching exercises and questions to really get deep and uncover the magic within.

We have all the answers, we just need to be asked the right questions and guided a little to find them.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Forget everything you think you’ve been told you ‘should’ be and find out who you really are and what you want to be.

Stop chasing dreams that are forced upon you and start chasing your own.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

No one is coming to save you. You have to be your own hero.

If you wait on others to do the right thing by you, you will be waiting forever. People do the right thing for themselves, even if they think otherwise.

It’s important to put your needs first so that you can then take care of the needs of others. Protect your energy and protect your peace. Become selffull not selfish.

Your final thoughts?

We can have it all, but we need to define what ‘all’ is for each one of us as individuals, not as a group.

We were not created the same, so to strive for the same things is insane.

Find Life Coach | Meet Anthony White: How to Get Rid of Anxiety and Become The Best Version of Yourself?

Anthony White is one of the coaches that we discovered this month and we did a little interview with him. He is a motivational speaker and he impressed us with his energy and insane dedication. He is unstoppable when it comes to spreading his message so it can reach as many people as possible and help them become the best version of themselves. Here is what he said.

Meet Life Coach Anthony White:

find-life-coach-anthony-white

Name: Anthony White
Pillar: The Heart
Who is this coach for: For individuals who are going through hard times, anxiety, traumas, and need support, clarity and someone to help them take the weight off of their shoulders.
How they can help: By using customized approach for each individual, discussion and motivation.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

My family is doing good during these times. Everyone is healthy, thriving.

I don’t really see my family much because I’m always out of state doing business but when I do see them it’s always a great time.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

Honestly I know it made my clients come more out of their shell.

They got to be alone and understand themselves more than ever. It let them self examine, and when they come to me they understand what they want to do and how they want to think but they just don’t know the correct steps to get to where they want to be.

The virus didn’t effect me at all, it made me grind more than I ever did. It made me more disciplined and to really crack down on myself. It made me see who was worth my time and to be around to get to where I want to be. It showed me where to put my time as well as attention and focus on the present and the future and to never give up.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

I’d say the biggest lesson during this pandemic would be focusing on me and disciplining myself.

I had to really focus on me to figure out who I was as a person, and it was very challenging at first.

Figuring out who I was as a person and how I can understand myself to help the people around me. Figuring out how to take accountability for myself and my actions. I figured out that patience was also a huge key.

Everyone wants their accomplishments and dreams to come true as soon as they can think without taking action. You have to have faith and trust in your plan that everything will workout all in gods plan while you take action. It just takes patience.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I’m a Motivational Speaker and Author of the series “1 Second 7 Days”. I’m from Cleveland Ohio one of the most dangerous places to live in the U.S.

I traveled around the world to different colleges, high schools, middle schools. I speak about mental health, past trauma as well as how to attack your dreams step by step. I hold 1 on 1 calls with clients helping them become the best versions of themselves. I help them understand the human mind and the habits they have obtained without being aware over the years.

I also tell my life story on how my mother who had 9 kids raised none and how I was born as a premature crack baby being the youngest of the 9.

I started my coaching career by being honest and going public with it.

I’ve always helped people and always had a passion for it to make a change in someone’s life. I’ve traveled to LA to be on the radio, I’ve traveled to Houston to be in the radio. I spoke in front of 3 countries and fox studios.

I was very persistent to have these things happen, I never took “no” for an answer or someone not looking at an email. I texted them and called them everyday till they answered and gave me a shot to tell my story to the world.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

I’d have to say learning how to be alone and do everything for myself.

If I wanted something growing up I had to go find a way to get it by any means necessary. If I was feeling upset I had no shoulder to cry on or have anyone I can trust to cope with me or to understand how I feel, nor just any person I can run to at all.

When I was homeless at a certain point in my life for two years I noticed that you have nobody but yourself. Nobody is going to lend a hand, nobody is going to be there for you when you need them the most, whether they know you need it or not. You have to pull yourself out of the dirt and even in your toughest moments.

You have two choices, either you can settle with what life is throwing at you, or you face it with open arms, alone, with your head up high.

You have to never give up no matter what gets handed to you in life.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I simply show them the change and where the problems are coming from within the self.

Once you figure out where the negative source or confused source is coming from then you can easily walk in your clients shoes as you understand them. You can introduce them to new ideas or different ways of thinking so they can progress up the ladder like never before.

You show them why they should hop out of their comfort zone to grow. If you stay In your comfort zone you will continue to wonder and question. Now if you stop wondering and get uncomfortable with your thoughts and everything around you, then you can never question… you will do nothing but strive.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I understand everyone learns differently. I can’t say I have a unique approach to everyone the same way.

Everyone has their own style of learning and thinking. I figure out how their thought process is working first, so I can understand how to teach them the best way possible.

I can’t give everyone the same techniques or advice because everyone has their own story and own background they come from in life.

I teach them with all my heart and never give up on any of them because it all comes with patience and truly making a change in the world.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

They get a weight lifted off their shoulder’s. They get the knowledge and answers they were searching for and that they didn’t even know they needed.

My clients will know how to get through anxiety, depression, trauma etc. The man or woman that they see themselves as being… after working with me they will be that person, without a doubt.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

You can find more about that if you visit Knowingtheunknown.org.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

I’d say everyone follow their dreams!

Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. If you are here in this earth, right now, you you have a purpose to be here. It could be a big purpose or a small purpose, but you better believe that you have one!

It’s okay to have tough moments in life, sad ones, mad ones, scared ones, but remember at your toughest moments: you never gave up, so DONT START NOW!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

Always be open to different perspectives. Everyone has their own way of looking at things. Someone can misunderstand you just because they see a different perspective and they haven’t been introduced to a new one.

In order to understand someone you have to walk in their shoes to feel where they are coming from and the emotions that they experience. I always say no idea is a dumb idea because at some point in time someone thought every invention we have today was dumb.

Always be open to new opportunity but always realize not every opportunity is meant for you.

Your mind is strong as much as you think it is and it can do more than you can imagine. Your mind is the most powerful tool you have in the world as well as your soul. So learn to balance them both and you’ll unlock the best version of yourself.

Balance duality, your mind and your body, and you’ll become who you were meant to be.

Your final thoughts?

Never expect your dreams to come true just because you think of them. If you don’t take action the second you think of it, you are missing an opportunity. If not now then when?

Nobody is coming to save you for when you get lost in life. You are going to encounter bad days, good days, struggling moments. It’s part of the process and you have to learn how to love this part of the process. Because if you don’t, it’s going to be hard to love your outcome.

Everything you are going through right now, no matter if you are struggling or doing good. Embrace it.

Ask yourself are you happy where you are today? What did you do to put yourself where you are right now? Never give up, take action, also have fun and love yourself please.

You only get one life, make the best of it.

4 Ways How to Make Yourself Take More Action (by Coach Maureen)

As a Certified Life Coach, I know the power of words. I give my clients the “tools,” or the words and suggestions, and they “build the house” by taking action.

I assist in helping people focus on reframing self talk, or turning negative talk into affirmations. I believe in speaking goals and personal aspirations as if they have already happened.

As much as manifesting your desires may fulfill your dreams, there remains a space where taking action is still mandatory. Steps are needed to bring the change and desires to fruition.

Without moving forward, words are really just noise.

Throughout my life, I’ve been around many people who “Talk the Talk.”  I’ve learned how true phrases such as “talk is cheap” and ” giving it lip service” are.

It can be one of the most frustrating awarenesses of human behavior.

It’s natural to speak what we want or wish we could have, but the struggle to motivate ourselves and initiate the steps to change can be challenging and even debilitating for some.

Some may have a more manipulative nature and will say what they think others want to hear with no intentions of fulfilling the effort needed. This is to fulfill a need for a sense of belonging or acceptance, even though there is no sincerity behind the verbiage.

I know several business owners with friends who praise their accomplishments, but never invest in their products or services offered in support of their friend. I know Coaches who don’t live the values and suggestions they provide to their clients.

One thing I value in myself, is the ability to stand by my word. If I SAY it, I DO it. For example, a client I coach is expanding her business. I encourage her to think outside of the box and try new unconventional ideas. When she created an event for a Backyard Boutique and invited me, of course I would go. I purchased an item from each vendor booth and demonstrated my support. Essentially, I “walked the walk.”

She invests in my business and I invest in hers. It’s a balance of respect and appreciation.

When I wrote my first book, my family and friends all insisted on purchasing the book. Even my own children bought my books! It was their way of showing me they really believed in me and supported me.

So ask yourself this: How much am I showing up through the actions I take for those around me who I cherish? Don’t just say I care about my circle. Go to lunch, send a card, or be there when they need you.

4 Ways to Make Yourself Take More Action:

how-to-make-yourself-take-more-action

Here are some tips on how to “walk the talk” and see the power of taking action, well, in action.

1. Every word you speak is a promise.

When you speak, think of everything thing you say as a sincere commitment. View it as if the relationship or friendship is on the line if you’re not meeting that promise. This is where you show your value and integrity.

2. Choose wisely.

As humans, we are the only species that has the capability to form words to verbally communicate. Choose what you say to one another with careful consideration.

Often times, people will state, “I didn’t mean it that way,” or “I was just teasing you!” Think about the person on the receiving end and not just your need to articulate. Think of how you would feel if you received the same message.

3. Be a DOer, not a SAYer.

When an event is held, do your friends and family count on you to attend? Or do they think you’ll just say you’ll come and then not show up?

If you tell someone, “if you need anything, let me know.” Do you really mean it or is it just a habit to say? Be someone who can commit to others.

Be that person that others know they can count on.

4. Stop the madness.

We all know that friend, family member, or coworker who continually complains about their life. They are the victims of this life. Nothing goes well for them ever!

Even if we listen for hours on end and give some sound advice, next week they come back with the same “stuff.” It can be draining.

First, we must learn the boundaries of not putting ourselves in the repetitive conversations. Second, realize that the person probably enjoys the sympathy, empathy, as attention they receive from sharing their woes.

Are you a “fixer” and easily get sucked into these scenarios? Learn to set boundaries. Set a time limit for the discussion. Stop giving advice the individual is not ready to hear. Stop encouraging the outpour by initiating the conversations with questions such as, “how are you doing today?” or “were you able to solve that issue?”

In the end, realize the power of your words, and the even mightier power of taking action!

Love and Blessings,
Maureen.

7 Best Ways How To Deal With Teenage Mental Health Issues

Teenage mental disorders are a leading cause of death worldwide, and the sad part is that it’s not always easy to detect the problem before it’s too late.

Teenagers go through many issues that can aggravate their mental well being, like bullying, peer pressure, dealing with academic and social life stress, and more.

Here are seven ways to deal with common mental health issues in kids.

7 Ways How To Deal With Teenage Mental Health Issues:

how-to-deal-with-teenage-mental-health-issues

1. Follow Through With the Treatment Plan.

When you suspect your teen has mental health problems, seek medical attention immediately.

Common teenage mental conditions include schizophrenia, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder.

Teenagers may be reluctant to visit the doctor due to fear, or because they have little knowledge about their illness. Sometimes, they may not even realize they are not well.

Make sure you seek help from specialists or experts. For instance, seek schizophrenia treatment at Alta Loma from qualified specialists who understand teen mental health issues.

2. Become a Resource.

There are many facts about mental health out there now, compared to in the past.

Talk with your teen about the signs of mental health issues and let them know how to seek help if it’s needed.

There are websites full of valuable information that can guide your teen in their journey to recovery.

Create time to understand more about the illness together.

Accompany the teen to their doctor’s visits, join support forums together and help spread awareness.

3. Show Love, Care and Affection.

Teenagers dealing with mental health issues need love, patience, care, and affection to cope with the uncertainties.

Show them how much you care, be gentle and understanding.

Let your child know that they can talk to you about anything at any time.

When at their lowest, be there to assure them of better times and that they’ll be okay. Also, love them unconditionally, even if you don’t always understand their emotions or reactions.

4. Encourage the Child to Express Their Feelings.

Talking, sharing, and acknowledging the different feelings and moods will help the teen cope.

When a child is not talking, they might be in denial about their mental health issues or just too ashamed to share with anyone.

Additionally, it’s a challenge for parents to understand what is going on when the teen is quiet or withdrawn. Helping them talk or express their feelings can make a huge difference.

5. Exercise Is Important for Mental Health.

Exercising is an excellent way to feel good and boost mental health.

It can also help release endorphins, making you feel happier and more relaxed.

Your child should exercise for at least 30 minutes every day.

Exercise routines can be as simple as walking together, playing outside, or participating in sports.

Encourage them to try different activities until they find something they enjoy and want to do more often.

6. Connect Your Child With Other Teens.

Teenagers dealing with mental health issues often feel alone in their struggle.

Connecting with other teenagers going through the same improves their self esteem and gives them the courage to fight or overcome the condition.

An online forum or chat room is an excellent way to find these connections, but make sure your child has enough supervision when meeting someone in person. The relationships they create can also encourage them to spread awareness and even start campaigns that empower other teens going through the same.

7. Spend Quality Time Together.

Create time to spend with the teen away from other family members.

Time together enables you to understand the teen’s challenges and creates a bond that improves your communication and relations.

Take part in activities they love, support where they’re struggling, and encourage them to explore new things.

Being adventurous together can help them come out of their shell and take on new challenges.

Also, let the entire family understand the condition and the struggles the teenager faces.

Spending more quality time as a family strengthens your bond.

What You Should Remember?

Understanding mental health issues can be complex but start the conversation as soon as possible.

You don’t need to overwhelm your teen with information or pretend to know everything about their mental health struggle.

Learn all there is together and offer support where needed.

What Are The Most Common Causes of Low Testosterone in People?

Low levels of testosterone, often shortened to ‘low T’, affects millions of men worldwide. Although testosterone naturally decreases as men age, there’s a certain lower limit. If your testosterone levels drop below this limit, it is a cause for concern.

Low T refers to testosterone levels that are below 300 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL) of blood. It affects between 20-40% of older men but it can affect people of any age.

Diagnosis of low T is determined through blood testing. After such diagnosis, physicians may offer testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or testosterone supplements to try and gradually increase testosterone levels to within the normal range.

The Most Common Causes of Low Testosterone:

most-common-causes-of-low-testosterone

Symptoms of low testosterone include low energy and mood, low libido or erectile dysfunction, and loss of muscle mass. If you are experiencing these symptoms, it might be worth going to see a healthcare professional to get a blood test.

If you have low testosterone levels for a while, you may also experience more long-term symptoms of low T, such as increased body fat, breast development, osteoporosis (thinning of the bones), or infertility.

There are many potential causes of low T. It’s important to identify the specific cause of your reduced testosterone levels so that you can get the right form of treatment.

So, what are some of the most common causes of low testosterone:

Genetic conditions that are present at birth, such as Klinefelter syndrome.

Abnormal development of the genitalia.

Injury or trauma to the testicles due to an accident or surgery.

Cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

Under activity of the pituitary gland, leading to hormone deficiency.

Autoimmune conditions.

Obesity or metabolic syndrome.

Alcohol abuse or cirrhosis of the liver.

Excessive estrogen.

Chronic kidney failure (CKD).

Medications, including anti-depressants and strong pain killers.

HIV or AIDS.

Aging.

The above causes of low testosterone can be split into two categories – primary hypogonadism and secondary hypogonadism.

In primary hypogonadism, the testes are underactive. This means that they are not producing as much testosterone as they should be.

Primary hypogonadism occurs due to inherited conditions or underdeveloped gentians. It can also be caused by physical injury, trauma, or cancer treatments.

Unlike primary hypogonadism, secondary hypogonadism acts indirectly. It occurs due to damage to the pituitary gland or hypothalamus. As a result of this damage, these parts of the brain no longer produce enough (or any) sex hormones that usually stimulate the testicles to produce testosterone.

This pituitary damage can be inherited at birth (pituitary disorders). They can also be caused by tumors or inflammatory conditions affecting these areas of the brain.

Taking strong opioid medications or having a high body fat percentage may also be the cause of secondary hypogonadism and low testosterone.

Primary and secondary hypogonadism are not mutually exclusive. You can have one or the other, or you can have a mixture of those. Having a mixture is more common as you get older.

5 Ways How To Stay Sane Amid The Ongoing Pandemic Crisis

0

The pandemic seems to be here to stay, and the recent threat of the Omicron variant has made it more challenging.

Despite the vaccines and tight controls, the new variant is going strong. It may not be as fatal as the other strains, but the concern continues.

Not to mention, there is constant apprehension about more variants and fresh waves.

Evidently, the world has to learn to live with a pandemic for now. Besides the fear of the infection, you have to deal with mental stress.

The idea of going into isolation again is daunting, so you must have a plan to stay sane amid the ongoing crisis. Here are some tips to help.

5 Ways How To Stay Sane Amid The Ongoing Pandemic:

how-to-stay-sane-amid-the-ongoing-pandemic

1. Double up your immunity.

The best way to avert the risk of the virus is by doubling up your immunity.

You will probably know all it takes to bolster your immune system.

Recheck your diet, get your booster shots, and exercise regularly. Follow the mask wearing, handwashing, and distancing guidelines as well.

You are likely to feel better if your immunity is strong because it makes you confident about your defenses against the virus.

2. Stay connected with loved ones.

Pandemic or no pandemic, staying connected with your loved ones is essential for mental well being.

Spend time with family at home, talk to loved ones living elsewhere, and visit friends. But make sure you avoid crowded places and outdoor venues.

You can invite loved ones at home or drop in at their place. Stay connected and support each other through the challenging times.

3. Try cannabis for stress relief.

The situation is stressful, and feeling anxious is natural.

Even worse, you may experience depression if you over think.

The best way to handle stress is with natural techniques.

Meditation and aromatherapy can help.

You can rely on cannabis as a safe stress relief remedy. Stock up on the right strain and check an online smoke shop like KING’s Pipe to gear up for the sessions.

You will feel sane as you indulge in a short session with a CBD high cannabis product every day.

4. Revisit a hobby.

After the initial lockdown, life has moved towards a new normal. But another wave could spell doom as you may have to coop indoors again.

It is a good time to revisit a hobby to maintain your sanity during the tight phase. Even better, pick something that can work as a side hustle.

For example, you can indulge in creative writing and take paid projects online. Financial stability gets you a step closer to sanity.

5. Ditch unhealthy habits.

Ditching unhealthy habits can also have a positive impact on your mental well being.

Steer clear of a sedentary lifestyle in the first place, even if it seems daunting to exercise in the gym.

You can invest in a home gym or pick outdoor activities.

Avoid high sugar foods, alcohol, and smoking as they can lower your immunity and increase stress levels.

Embrace healthy living for holistic well being.

Here’s How Cannabis and Delta 8 products are different from (and similar to) one another?

0

Delta 8 has been popping up in the news lately for quite some time.

If you are a cannabis user, you must be aware of such a product in the market. So, what is Delta 8, and how is it different from Cannabis?

Just Cannabis Store in Canada caters to consumers looking for Delta 8 and Cannabis products. It also aims to clarify to people what the difference really is. Let us look at the factors that make them different, yet so similar.

How Cannabis and Delta 8 Products are Different:

how-cannabis-and-delta-8-products-are-different

The cannabis plant is a hub of a variety of chemical entities. We refer to these chemicals as Cannabinoids. Among these Cannabinoids, the delta 9 and delta 8 forms are popular among cannabis users.

The Delta 9 form is the natural psychoactive component of Cannabis, THC.

Doctors say that the Delta 9 form is the well researched compound of Cannabis and is responsible for the toxic effects of Cannabis.

Delta 8 THC, commonly referred to as Delta 8, is an isomer of Delta 9. It means that they are similar in structure but differ in their functionality.

So, what makes Delta 8 unique?

The effects of Delta 8 are much milder than that of Delta 9.

You might have to consume larger doses of Delta 8 to experience the level of high that Delta 9 gives.

Delta 8 can be an effective alternative for Cannabis.

People who go for Delta 8 are the ones who live in countries where Cannabis isn’t legal.

Another difference between Delta 8 and Cannabis is how we derive them.

We get Delta 8 from the hemp plant. Breaking the myth, Hemp and Marijuana are not different species of plants. The only point of difference is the levels of THC that each contains.

Another reason for the surging popularity of Cannabis is its compound cannabinoid.

Cannabis users are constantly on the lookout for new and innovative Cannabis derived products. Apart from being an excellent euphoriant, the cannabis plant has several medical benefits.

Let us look at how Cannabis and Delta 8 can benefit your health.

What are The Health Benefits of Cannabis:

The cannabis industry has been expanding since the legalization of hemp farming. The various forms of CBD are all beneficial when consumed in regulated dosages. Cannabinoid in Cannabis is responsible for the health effects.

Some health effects of Cannabis include:

1. Relief from pain and inflammation.

CBD has a chemical constitution that produces pain and inflammation relieving effects. Our body constitutes a specialized network of receptors known as the Endocannabinoid system.

The endocannabinoid system is responsible for several functions like regulation of lipid synthesis.

Cannabinoids interact with the endocannabinoid system and produce pain relieving effects. Also, CBD has anti inflammatory properties that make it ideal for assisting treatments.

Many cancer patients suffer from unbearable pain during treatment. Most of this pain is due to inflammation and congestion of internal organs.

Studies show that cannabis can improve the symptoms of cancer. Cannabis’s anti inflammatory properties can help reduce pain caused due to inflammation and nerve damage.

2. Relief from anxiety and mental health issues.

People from all over the world suffer from anxiety and other mental health issues.

It has mood lifting properties that make it ideal for people with chronic mental health issues. Marijuana can produce feelings of euphoria and pleasure. Using it in a regulated manner can provide temporary relief from depression.

By relieving mental health issues, Cannabis can improve the quality of sleep. People with insomnia can use Cannabis to reduce sleep cycle problems.

3. Weight management.

Cannabis has been in use for managing weight for quite some time now. Cannabinoids bind to receptors of the endocannabinoid system. The system is responsible for functions like regulation of metabolism and lipid synthesis.

Consuming Cannabis can thus have positive effects on your body weight.

Cannabis can help diabetic people by regulating blood sugar levels. It also improves the symptoms of insulin resistance.

4. Reducing seizures and other benefits.

Cannabis has other benefits like reducing seizures. It can help with disorders like PTSD and social anxiety disorder.

Did you know that Cannabis can improve your bone health as well? Research has found that CBD can increase bone density and prevent fractures.

How The Effects of Cannabis are Similar to That of Delta 8:

Often referred to as “marijuana lite”, Delta 8 has marijuana like effects. As we know, the delta 8 form of THC gets the user high but not as much as Delta 9. When we talk about THC, we generally refer to Delta 9.

While the other compound of hemp, CBD, is non psychoactive, Delta 8 produces a milder high.

Delta 8 binds to both CB1 and CB2 receptors and produces euphoric effects. Other than this, it also has notable health effects.

Some common effects of Delta 8 include:

Relief from pain.

Alleviation of anxiety and depression.

Relief from nausea.

Stimulation of appetite.

While the government allows CBD products to contain less than only 0.3 percent THC, as we derive delta 8 from hemp, it is legal in many states across the globe.

The only difference between Delta 9 and Delta 8 is the intensity of effects each has on the user.

The difference is due to the double bond present between the carbon atoms.

How do we derive delta 8?

The derivation process of delta 8 is quite similar to that of delta 9.

While deriving, we get compounds other than delta 8.

We get most delta 8 products by processing hemp derived cannabidiol. It is because delta 8 is present in small amounts in the hemp plant.

What You Should Remember?

Though delta 8 is healthy, there are still a few things that you need to know.

Delta 8 can cause severe side effects when taken in higher dosages.

Some of the side effects of overconsuming delta 8 include: Increased rate of palpitation, Anxiety and lack of mental clarity, Reduced appetite and gastrointestinal issues, Dry mouth and cough.

To avoid this, one should consult a physician or a professional before consuming delta 8 for medicinal purposes.

Check for the legality status in your region before buying delta 8 products. Checking the product right and going for a third party lab test can help.

Keep in mind that we do not advise or promote the usage of CBD or cannabis in any type or form. We are just sharing information that some readers might find helpful. It’s always the smartest decision to consult with your doctor before making an important decision for your health.

Name: Zoryna O’Donnell
Pillar: The Mind
Who is this coach for: For individuals and organizations who need help in setting and achieving their goals – both inmmediate and long term ones.
How they can help: By using science-based approaches and various tools and techniques that work with both, the brain and the mind.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

We are a resilient bunch, so we are doing very well, thank you.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

Strengthening the resilience and personal performance of my clients and their teams became more important than ever.

Due to the impact of the pandemic, many people moved to remote or hybrid ways of working almost overnight.

This presented new challenges in terms of leadership and management practice which I help my clients to address.

As for me personally, I am busier than ever since the beginning of the pandemic. My work energizes me and enhances my sense of purpose.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The experience of this pandemic has strengthened my belief in humanity.

I live on the Isle of Wight, UK, and it was amazing to see how people of different walks of life came together to volunteer and support the most vulnerable members of the community.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have used my knowledge and skills to help volunteers and employees who were involved in this work improve their mental resilience and wellbeing.

For the past 12 months, I also had a privilege of managing the Community Resilience Project on the Isle of Wight which helped to build community capacity and strengthen the local response to the pandemic.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Since my early teens, I have been interested in human psychology… in people, their perceptions, attitudes, motivations, and behavior.

I believe that this interest has had a significant influence on my career and personal development.

I have over 30 years of experience in strategic and operational leadership in public, voluntary, and private sector organizations in different countries.

Coaching people and helping them grow was the most enjoyable part of my career, whatever job role I had before I founded my own company L&M Plus Consulting.

My business is specializing in neuroscience-based leadership and management development, change management, and wellbeing programmes which include assessments, training, coaching, and mentoring.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Like most people, I have had my fair share of challenges in life.

My biggest obstacle was, and is, internal… those few moments of self-doubt and hesitation before I take action.

I had many great teachers and mentors in my life.

One of them, Dr John Grinder who is a co-creator of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, NLP, once said: “The problem is not the problem, the problem is the state in which we approach the problem.”

Once you are in your “resourceful state”, dealing with obstacles is easy.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I work with organizations and individuals to help them exceed their expectations of what is possible for them to achieve.

I do it by using insights from applied neuroscience, psychology, behavioral science, and other relevant disciplines to unlock the power of their brains and minds.

When you are working with your brain and mind rather than against them, the difference it makes is truly incredible!

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

In addition to using the insights from applied neuroscience, psychology, and behavioral science in my coaching practice, I am also qualified in a number of talking therapies that I can offer my coaching clients as and when required.

I am a Master Practitioner of NLP, a practitioner of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and a registered hypnotherapist.

Using a combination of coaching and therapeutic interventions to suit the needs of each individual client helps them to achieve their goals and sustainable outcomes faster and more efficiently.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

My clients will have reached some of their immediate goals and will be on the right track to set and achieve their long term goals.

They will be clear about what they want to achieve and how to get there.

They will also know why and how exactly certain methods and tools work.

This means that my clients will be better equipped to deal with any future challenges that life may bring. And, of course, I will be there for them if they need any further support or a sounding board for their ideas and aspirations.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

I use a variety of psychometric and organimetric assessment tools that help my clients understand themselves better and build on their strengths to reach their full potential.

These include DISC profile, Sova Assessments, GC Index® Profiles and Performance Leader Identifier, or PLI Assessment.

I also use a number of highly effective coaching models and techniques ranging from the classic GROW model created by Sir John Whitmore and colleagues in the late 1980s to more contemporary Continue & Begin Fast Coaching®. It’s an incredibly effective and confidence-boosting method created by Nick Drake-Knight.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

My message is simple:

Own your life and live it with the brain in mind. You will notice the difference this will make.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

That we are the only ones who are fully responsible for our success or otherwise because the life we get is the outcome of the decisions and choices we make.

It is never too late to start making different decisions to get a different life.

Your final thoughts?

I would like to thank the Life Coach Code and its founder Dejan Davcevski for this opportunity to share my thoughts.

Coaching is an incredible tool that can help us flourish and reach our goals.

If you don’t have a coach yet, find yourself a good one who will help you exceed your expectations of what is possible for you to achieve.
