Find Life Coach | Meet Melissa Acob: How to Purify Your Mindset and Live a Life Where Positive Change is Inevitable?

Melissa Acob is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. Coach Mel, as her clients like to call her, is not your usual mindset coach. She impressed us with her deeper approach to mindset coaching. Instead of just focusing on changing the thoughts she focuses on changing the underlying emotion or belief that operates those thoughts. She is more of an energy mindset coach and her skills are remarkable. Here is what she said.

Meet Energy Mindset Coach Melissa Acob:

find-life-coach-melissa-acob

Name: Melissa Acob
Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind
Who is this coach for: Business owners, entrepreneurs, and busy professionals who want to attract more wealth and happiness in their business and personal lives.
How they can help: By finding the root cause of your problem, energy work, affirmations, just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

My family and I are surviving and doing well, thank you. It’s keeping the accountability of staying safe and healthy especially when around my older parents.

This pandemic has definitely made the family dynamic a little different but manageable for all the right reasons.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

With change and the unknown, there is always a shift of energy of “what if I fail”? You can’t think that way because what we feel, think, say, or do is creating energy on a daily basis and that energy manifests into our reality.

As a coach, my job is to work my clients through self doubt which is connected to unhealed deep rooted issues.

As a first time business owner myself, there are a lot of things I am learning about running a successful business. However, doing the mindset work before opening my business has opened the doors to amazing opportunities and clientele!

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

My biggest lesson is anything is possible if you believe. Pandemic or not, you have the power to change your reality and your life!

This pandemic hasn’t stopped time, it hasn’t stopped people from needing to make a living, it hasn’t stopped money circulating in the world, and it doesn’t stop people from getting the help they need to become more successful.

Mindset and Energy Coaching are needed more than ever these days. We just need to get out of our own way with the past limiting beliefs we’ve been hanging on to for so many years.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Interesting story, I actually started my career in 2020 when the pandemic began.

Being in lockdown was the perfect time for self reflection on what I wanted to do with my life, finding my life purpose.

I always knew I wanted to help others, but I didn’t exactly know how I was going to accomplish this.

One thing I knew was before I could help others, I needed to work on myself and my mindset.

I wanted to learn how to create positivity in my life and how to manifest more happiness and success.

During the course of the next 8 months, I took 5 mindset and energy courses including a manifesting course which led me to a coaching academy that specialized in mindset, energy, and childhood conditioning.

After earning my Master Life Coach Accreditation, I opened my own coaching business named Soul Vibe and Energy High and have never looked back.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was recognizing my past trauma and healing my inner child.

We all have past trauma we are dealing with, whether we subconsciously know it or not. It pops up in our lives when we don’t feel good.

Growing up in an Asian household, I was conditioned to be seen and not heard. You were expected to excel in school and in my family dynamic there was a lack of emotional connection.

This led to being involved in toxic friendships and relationships and I had a lack of self worth my entire life.

I always appeared confident on the outside, but inside I felt defeated most of the time.

When I started to do the work on healing myself, there was a major shift that happened in my life. I was finally accepting who I was and learned what I had been through as a child was not my fault.

This realization was a game changer!

I was able to start putting the puzzle pieces together on why I attracted the things and people in my life and why I was not happy.

We have to understand, childhood conditioning is a generational mindset. Our parents are conditioned a certain way, they condition their children the same way, and it goes on for generations until someone says “stop”.

Giving appreciation to my hurt inner child allowed me to learn how to reframe my mindset and heal in a positive way. We all have the power to change our mindsets and heal our past.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I help business owners, entrepreneurs, and busy professionals become the best versions of themselves.

I coach them on how to create a positive mindset, how to create specific goals, and how to feel good about themselves.

Our subconscious mindset is running 95% of the time, our subconscious mind is where past trauma, limiting beliefs, and past conditioning are stored.

If we don’t understand how our mind works, we can be overtaken by self-doubt, self-sabotage, and negativity on a daily basis which blocks us from manifesting our desired outcomes.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

One thing I do in my coaching programs that sets me aside from other Mindset coaches is I get to the root of my client’s problem.

When I ask my clients what their goals are, I ask them why they aren’t achieving those goals.

What will come up is the self-doubt, insecurities, and the past trauma that needs to be worked through.

I can sit on a 20 Minute Complimentary Call and within less than 10 minutes, I will find the root of your problem.

We all have 5 to 10 stories attached to emotions replaying in our mindset when we find ourselves feeling defeated, self-sabotaging, or feeling blocked from success.

Once we work through the past trauma, my clients start manifesting their goals very quickly, within days!

As a coach, this is very exciting to witness!

My clients are attracting more business opportunities, more financial stability, self confidence, and healing their relationships with themselves and others.

Once you change your mindset and once you create positive energy, you are now a magnet to your desires, it’s Universal Law.

The energy you put out is the energy you pull in like a boomerang.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Whether you are enrolled in my 1 on 1 coaching programs or my Club Mel Membership, my clients are starting to live a happy and abundant life.

Clients start living with a clear mindset, a life of being their true authentic self, a life free of self judgment.

Living a life with clarity of who you are and what you want, eliminates the smoke and mirrors. When you are clear of your value and clear of your goals, you have created for yourself a new reality where positive change is inevitable.

Absolutely everyone can do this, all you have to do is be ready for change, put away your ego, and give yourself the time and care you deserve.

One question I ask my clients when making the decision to work with me is, “when do you want to start feeling good?”

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

In my 1 on 1 programs and Monthly Membership, I give my clients accountability exercises.

However, before we can use tools such as energy work, affirmations, or gratitude, we have to find the root of your problem.

If you skip this step, then you will keep replaying the same negative cycles in your daily life.

You have to start at the root, our foundation, and create a new solid foundation. Then you can incorporate new daily habits.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

It doesn’t matter who you are and what you have been through, it’s never too late to work on yourself. It’s never too late to create new dreams. It’s never too late to start over.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The greatest lesson I have learned is life has no boundaries, it’s only your mindset that sets limitations.

What you think you become, what you believe you are.

If you ever feel alone, you are never alone, all you have to do is ask the Universe for help. Help never comes, unless you ask for it.

If you are desiring a big change in your life, you have to believe in something bigger than yourself. We are all energy and we are all connected, we need to learn how to use it to our advantage.

Your final thoughts?

If you feel pulled to get help, it’s the Universe saying “it’s time”.

We all deserve to be happy, we all deserve to manifest our dream life.

It is all possible, the only person blocking this from coming to fruition is you. So I’ll ask the same question, “when do you want to start feeling good?”

The 7 Essentials for a Healthy Workplace (by Dr. Dolores)

By Dr. Dolores Fazzino, DNP, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Intuitive, and Energy Whisperer.

I am often asked how one can make a difference in the workplace and the lives of others.

Humanity is in interesting times and many paradigms are shifting. What was working once and was acceptable, no longer is, particularly in the workplace.

I find that there are core values that each human being desires and wants that are foundational to our existence. Very few of us have experienced these, particularly if we came from a dysfunctional family.

Our early life sets up the unconscious patterning that we carry out as we grow, mature, and become adults.

What I have found through my own personal growth journey is that there are 7 basic core concerns that many of us desire and need.

The 7 Essentials for a Healthy Workplace:

essentials-for-a-healthy-workplace

1. Valued

2. Honored

3. Heard

4. Appreciated

5. Accepted

6. Respected, and

7. Loved

All too often we were not nurtured as children, not because we were unlovable. It was because those in our environment did not know how to do this and did the best, they could with what they knew.

It is no surprise these experiences of the essential 7 (or lack of experiences), have formulated our conscious and unconscious patterning in our adult lives.

This is where it gets interesting.

Since many of us may be in employment situations where we may not feel heard, valued, appreciated, honored, respected, accepted, and loved. It may be an extension of your childhood experience, reenacting itself.

At this time, there have been many who are leaving the workforce for these very reasons, their values are no longer being met.

Society is waking up and realizing that their needs are not being met and are doing something about it. They are leaving and leaving in masses.

The temporary fixes of pay increases, are not enough anymore to keep the employees happy.

These temporary fixes are really a Band-Aid on a deeper problem. And when the Band-Aid is ripped off the scar comes with it. The temporary fix leaves with the Band-Aid, revealing an open wound.

People are desiring and wanting more. They are seeing their worth as a sovereign being of light, and it is about time! It is definitely time to heal the workplace!

People want to feel heard.

They want others to be present with them, lean in, hear, and take in what is being said. They want to see results that they have been heard. Remember, actions speak louder than words!

People want to be appreciated.

By extending appreciation for even the smallest things, makes one feel as if you want to do more than expected. Even in our personal lives, the more appreciative you are of what you have, acts as a magnet to draw more and more for you to be appreciative of.

People want to be valued.

Value can be in a form of compensation financially, added perks, added responsibility, and added benefits. It is important for people to know that they make a difference and are not disposable.

People want to be accepted.

They do not want to be judged or criticized, harassed, or even bullied. Unfortunately, our society still is maneuvering through this toxic behavior, which is openly and covertly playing out in institutions.

People want to be respected.

They want to know that their experiences matter and bring much wisdom to the environment where they work.

People want to be honored.

They want to be celebrated for the work that they do, particularly when it is above and beyond what is expected. Just a little encouragement and reminder that they are doing a good job goes far.

Most importantly, people want to feel loved and who doesn’t, right?

Feeling loved and nurtured is the underlying fuel that makes people want to show up and do more.

What do you think?

You can reach out directly, get on a call and we can discuss what you think about this and your situation in particular.

Find Life Coach | Meet Maren Somers: How to Find Meaning, Purpose, and Enrich Your Life?

Maren Somers is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her plethora of tools that she uses to help her clients. She says “Bereichert means enriched in German, which is a reference to my birth name Reichert and also how I wish my clients to experience our work together.” Her way of coaching is customized to each individual’s needs and wants. And she is one of the most dedicated coaches that we interviewed so far. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Maren Somers:

find-life-coach-maren-somers

Name: Maren Somers
Pillar: The Spirit
Who is this coach for: For anyone who wants to enrich their life with meaning, purpose and self confidence.
How they can help: By using a unique combination of tools like NLP, Hypnosis, Systemic Constellations, just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

We managed surprisingly well. I was able to put more time into my coaching business as I also have a Part Time employment which gave me enough time to deepen my knowledge through workshops and seminars that fortunately took place.

We spent more active time together and had many chances to practice our communication skills.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

I was very fortunate personally, I must say, I take great joy in having more time at home and with my family.

In personal as well as work related surroundings I was very fortunate to meet people that were able to cope very well with the situation and for some, it was also fortunate as it gave them the opportunity to find a way back to themselves and what they want in life.

The clients I worked with had issues and obstacles which could have appeared at any given time and had no real connection to the pandemic or its circumstances.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

I have to love and accept myself first and actively take time only with myself to think about what I want.

In order to feel myself I have to distance myself from the outside world, the constant overload of news, being told what I need and need to have in order to be of worth.

If someone else feels the need to tell me what I want and need, it is only their opinion and what their needs are.

It has nothing to do with me, which is a very liberating knowledge indeed. Maybe their strategy is different from mine, and that’s fine. We can agree to disagree.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I have taken communication workshops for years now, trying to figure out what communication does and how to use it to express myself more clearly in order to solve repeating conflicts.

On one of those workshops I was introduced to something called “non-violent communication” by Marshall Rosenberg. I instantly started researching and was hooked.

Everything suddenly made sense and I began to understand myself. I had discovered the power of feelings and needs in combination with a method to actually put this into words.

Through a year long Workshop on non-violent communication, I met a coach and was very intrigued by her work and started to look into it.

Within a few weeks, I decided to book a Coaching Program with a German Institute (Dr.Migge) which specializes in training coaches with a very wide range of methods including Hypnosis, Systemic Constellations, Cognitive, Solution oriented and Logical Methods like NLP and many more.

Almost right at the beginning I was approached by my first female client and have been coaching ever since.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Losing my mother in my early 20s to cancer, trying to fix my toxic relationship, and for about 35 years, continuously being told I am wrong and everything I do is wrong.

Not only obstacles made me into the person I am today. I insist on mentioning that the following added so very much: traveling all over our wonderful planet and listening to people from so many cultures, countries, and backgrounds.

Becoming a mother has been the most amazing journey both towards my true self and far beyond what I thought was possible.

Lifelong reading and learning by asking questions and staying curious, always.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I enjoy being very active with my clients as I use the room we are in (or my client’s room when online coaching). I use cards, chairs, and ropes on the floor. We work with toys and pictures. We have imagination sequences.

Non-violent communication is used in all my coaching as it is the heart of all the work I do, combining it intuitively with other methods I had mentioned before.

Regardless of the mandate, it is always about my client as a whole human being: including the individual’s feelings, needs, wishes, goals, family and work related system and resources as well as capabilities.

Right now I am working on a package to include all necessary steps to gain self confidence, purpose, and meaning in life, overcome obstacles and reach a state of confidence, happiness, and contentment with the ability to communicate in a way to solve conflicts in a connected way. Stay tuned.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

To be honest, I believe that I have very, VERY capable, empathic, and professional colleagues almost everywhere on this beautiful earth.

We all have our own experiences. We each have similar or not so similar toolsets. What makes us all unique is the combination of tools we use and how we use them, because of who we are.

What makes my approach unique is the way I connect with people and my ability to see a greater picture. To me, every person is of value and of worth because we are so very different and share so much. But then again, is that really unique?

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

My clients receive new perspectives on their life, themselves, and their immediate system.

Some gain a different understanding of themselves, of their feelings, and what they mean.

Some find their purpose, their one thing in life, and some just enjoy exploring their boundaries and personality structures. Some completely transform their lives. What would you like to „happen“ for yourself?

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Non-Violent Communication, Tools from NLP, The Work, Imagination, Existentialist Coaching Methods based on the work of Victor Frankl, Hypnosis, Systemic Constellations, Inner Child, Schema Coaching (Young) Cognitive and Solution-Oriented Methods, A Compassionate Mindset inspired and influenced by Essentialism, Minimalism, and Curiosity.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Be the change that you want to see in the world, by loving yourself first!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

Feelings are your friends, they tell you what’s good for yourself and what isn’t.

They need to be felt and listened to. If not, they’re just getting louder and louder. Or they will eventually make you sick and break down.

They tell you about your needs. And if your needs are met, or even acknowledged, the results are absolutely astounding: happiness and contentment sets in.

Everything living beings do, is to meet their needs, even if they aren’t aware of them. And their how, their strategies can be disturbing or even violent or offending towards themselves and others.

But you have a choice, always!

Set your boundaries. Do something differently. Walk away. Tell them to stop. Every second you have a choice!

Listen to your gut. It knows what’s right for you. It is your inner you.

Your final thoughts?

Thank you all for reading my interview. I feel very honored and am deeply thankful for the opportunity to share my thoughts and experiences through this channel.

I would feel very happy if my words trigger curiosity in you to look into Marshall Rosenbergs lifetime work and maybe change your life as it did mine.

Every obstacle is just life asking a question. And if you find your why in life, answering this question becomes easier and easier.

Feel enriched!
Yours, Maren.

10 Ways How An MBA Assists Women In Obtaining C-Suite Positions?

It’s the 21st century, and women are struggling to bolster their representation in the business industry.

A survey from last year indicates that merely 8.2% of Fortune 500 companies have female CEOs. But even they encounter chauvinism frequently as women have to overcome more struggles to obtain any C-suite positions in modern day business organizations.

Experts have been asking this essential question: “How do women achieve higher positions in the business industry?”

What can a woman do to attain a C-suite place in a company? We believe that getting a degree in business administration can help females climb the ladder of success and become prominent business leaders.

Let’s explain the benefits of an MBA.

Why Should Women Pursue An MBA For Leadership Positions?

More women have realized how getting an MBA increases their chances to attain C-suite positions in the most prestigious of all American business associations.

In 2011, Forté writes, not just one third of our MBA students were females. However, over 40% of students enrolling in MBA programs were women in 2021!

We need more women in C-suite positions because female executives drive innovation and show better returns.

Also, we’ve seen that people consider companies led by women more considerate and purpose driven.

Studies have indicated that female CEOs are more resilient and inspiring than male counterparts. And getting an MBA can help these women become leaders of business tomorrow.

10 Ways How An MBA Assists Women In Obtaining High Positions:

how-an-mba-assists-women

1. You can study online.

Personal or domestic obligations prevent many women from pursuing higher education. They can’t pursue their dreams because they don’t have to continue learning.

Well, distance learning can help you earn a degree digitally.

You can now pursue an Online General MBA Program to finish your degree in less than a year.

This versatile educational qualification helps working women obtain jobs of their choosing by studying from home.

That’s why we suggest more women learn digitally today.

2. You establish powerful connections.

Whether you’re attending online classes or physically joining an institution, you can establish pretty strong connections with people.

Obtaining a business administration degree enables women to build rapport with like minded students.

Maybe some of your female classmates make it to C-suite positions. You can leverage these connections to rise in ranks quickly!

This degree also helps women hone their networking capabilities to establish connections in the company.

3. You become self confident.

Gender inequality often makes women hesitant about their future in a company.

But an MBA allows female students to become confident about their future in any business organization.

They can learn how to handle colleagues and superiors. They find out how to report discrimination and harassment as a business administration degree surrounds every business aspect.

So, women don’t have to “fake” feeling powerful anymore since education makes them genuinely confident in 2022.

4. You earn people’s respect.

Do educated women intimidate men?

Scientific research has rejected this misconception. But it’s correct that educated men and women are deeply respected in society.

Obtaining an MBA helps women to earn the respect of their peers. This education makes you turn heads whenever you’re presenting an idea.

Your proposals are considered with respect and admiration.

Your coworkers will have to listen to what a strong, educated, and independent woman says regarding business issues.

5. You’ll get a job quickly.

Your journey to C-suite begins with landing an employment position in business companies.

How to obtain a lucrative occupation in any industry today?

A 2020 GMAC survey found that 90% of Fortune 500 companies planned to recruit recent MBA graduates.

Earning your MBA seems perfect for a woman willing to obtain a C-suite position.

Business schools are hiring female applicants today.

It seems like an appropriate environment for women who wish to quickly climb the ladder of success.

6. You can expand your career.

An MBA doesn’t merely increase your chances of becoming employed quickly.

But it ascertains as well that you have enough career advancement opportunities.

Studies show that female degree holders are favored for employment opportunities across the business industry.

Therefore, women can gain C-suite positions by earning a graduate business degree today.

The education you shall receive helps you prove yourself eligible for a promotion. You’ll gradually make it up to the top of the ladder.

7. You gain valuable skills.

This degree teaches you the qualities they’re looking for in board members nowadays.

Thus, today’s women enrolled in business administration programs acquire critical “soft skills” such as critical thinking, problem solving, and effective communication. They gain financial expertise and business know how to serve as future leaders.

Female leaders shouldn’t neglect the value of an MBA in today’s competitive atmosphere as it shows them how to make data driven decisions.

8. You learn about leadership.

If you aim to be a leader there are few abilities you should try to learn. One of these abilities of course, is leadership!

You can learn about how to become an effective leader and manager when you’re studying business administration, probably online.

This degree shows you how to manage an intricate group of subordinates and motivate them to become more productive.

We need women to obtain more leadership positions in companies. The C-suite welcomes female workers who have recently obtained an MBA. That’s how you become eligible to serve as an executive in the company.

9. You earn a good salary.

A handsome salary ensures that women are sufficiently motivated to pursue their dreams and earn a C-suite position.

Surveys from last year show that post MBA women workers made $147,000+ that remains thousands of dollars lower than what post MBA male workers made.

However, this earning empowers business graduates among women to encounter every challenge and rise against all odds. That’s how your chances to gain a C-suite position easily can only become more apparent in 2022.

10. You make companies more profitable.

Gender equality discourses have indicated that women possess a matchless creative potential unrivaled by their male counterparts.

Companies today aren’t only motivated to recruit women due to feminist tendencies.

It’s been observed that the inclusion of women in C-suite positions can lead to companies enhancing their overall profitability.

A McKinsey survey has found that companies with women on their boards can gain a higher ROI than companies with a male only board of members.

What you should remember?

Women are inadequately represented in the business industry, especially C-suite positions. Hence, we learned that 25% of females possessed five major C-suite positions in 2019.

So, what should women do to obtain more C-suite ranks today?

We’ve explained some major benefits of earning an MBA degree for businesswomen in 2022.

You earn some valuable skills that help you succeed in the business industry. A business degree makes you more valuable to employers, thereby increasing your worth before them. An MBA qualification helps you expand your career, earn a handsome salary, and realize your potential for leadership qualities.

That’s why more women should pursue business administration degrees in 2022.

Find Life Coach | Meet Lori G. Clark: How to Open Your Mind to a New Life?

Lori G. Clark is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her encouraging approach. First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

Me and my family are doing well and trying our best to stay healthy and safe.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

I wouldn’t say the virus itself affected them. However the many different dynamics and challenges that came with it, made people feel as though getting “back in order” was number one priority.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

Life coaching has been so fulfilling and rewarding. From writing blogs to working with people one on one.

I love it.

Well, the biggest obstacle came for me when I was 25 years old, and had overcame every hardship of my life.

I was on the road to the life of my dreams when everything was ripped away from me after suffering a traumatic medical emergency.

Doctors were unsure if I would recover. They also said if I did recover, my life would never be the same and my daily battles would be endless. Heartbroken, I took that news and decided to LIVE.

To this day doctors consider me a walking miracle based on how I have been able to live beyond my experience.

When clients talk to me I like to open their minds to new approaches, new perspectives, and a new life.

My clients finish my sessions ready to conquer their fears, mental barriers, and insecurities with confidence.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

I don’t use specific tools but rather I like to chat with other coaches and… I got certified for a second time.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

I would tell people whatever you believe is true. If you believe you can or you can’t, YOU’RE RIGHT!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The greatest lesson I’ve learned is everything happens when it is supposed to.

Just keep moving with a good heart and watch God work!

Your final thoughts?

I want everyone to know they can live the life they want.

They are capable of being happy and they are capable of being fulfilled.

The pandemic affected everyone!

In regards to the sector of life coaching, we witnessed a surge and higher demand for coaching, whether from individuals, companies, schools, magazines… It’s exploding!

The pandemic increased the awareness of people to nurture their minds and souls. Spending time alone allowed people to connect with their inner selves, with their emotions, what they really want.

When we slowed down, we all started to ask ourselves and others: ”How are you feeling?” not just “How are you doing?”

I personally have more clients interested in discovering themselves, their values, their small moments of joy, their fears, what is blocking their fulfillment…

Also after the pandemic, I have more clients struggling with social anxiety, general anxiety, academic motivation (students). More clients now need support in how to deal with change and adapt, how to accept grief…

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned in the pandemic is to have a flexible mind and know that there is no constant, except the openness for change.

I learned not to get overly attached to plans, or to manage every aspect of my day and try to control everything. Now I just embrace what life hands me, and adapt.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Actually, I started with my coaching career by coincidence.

I was chatting with a friend about hobbies and passions and I shared with her that I don’t have any, and that I would love to have one.

I knew that having something fulfilling to do is so rewarding and brings joy, and I was aware that I miss this in my life.

She insisted that I look into life coaching as she knows my character well and thinks that I will love this journey. And I did… and still loving it every day, that makes me so grateful.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

The biggest obstacle in my life was moving countries with my husband and family, but I believe family should stick together when they have the chance.

The moves affected my career as I didn’t have the chance to grow and to have continuity in my home country.

Then again when I think about it, this obstacle was a blessing as it lead me to be an ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited life coach, where I can practice my passion everywhere in the world. I reside now in Dubai where I am gladly practicing my calling by helping as many people as possible.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

Scientific research and development are ongoing, and new facts and discoveries should be accounted for when valid. That’s why I am on a constant learning journey. I am constantly growing, applying for new certifications, attending workshops, podcasts…

The joy of learning new insights and applying them with clients is very rewarding because I witness how new tools, based on science, along with human interaction and trust, work miracles on clients. Furthermore, a tool that works for you might not work for me, that’s why coaches need a variety of methods, insight, and Innovation.

This plays a big role in the process of finding what works with every client so they can benefit personally and be motivated to reach their meaningful goal.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

Because I am also a certified youth coach, my approach is unique, very comfortable, nonformal, nonjudgmental, creating an atmosphere of trust, while being focused, and introducing awareness and growth to clients.

My clients experience a mix of emotions during our sessions, it’s like having a taste of life. They laugh, get emotional, get inspired, discover their fears, deep feelings, and thoughts…

I believe life coaching is a partnership, a connection, and a bond between my client and me.

The love and trust I share with humanity is unlimited. I know that each one of us can reach unlimited goals when having the right mindset and system.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

The most important benefit clients get out of our sessions is the new perspective they have for life after the self discovery and the self awareness they gain.

This enables them to experience more fulfillment in life.

Fulfillment is mainly what we all long for but don’t know how and where to find it. Some clients approach me to reach more success, more happiness, more inner peace, but the value added is so much more.

No one knows beforehand the treasures they will discover during this journey. They end up discovering meaningful and fulfilling thoughts, dreams, and values… Because life coaching is a self discovery journey, clients’ self confidence and self love increase. After all, how can you love someone if you don’t know them well?! The same theory applies to oneself.

Know yourself to love yourself more.

The other and direct benefit is, of course, clients reaching their main goal, the one they approached me for at the first pace.

Whether it is changing a bad habit, creating new ones, finding a passion, acceptance, having higher grades or a promotion, taking a difficult decision, managing impulsive emotions and anger, bullying, social anxiety, and fears…

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Actually, I work with many tools in life coaching, but I create for each client a personalized bundle, that helps them move forward.

Tools I use include exercises, graphs, wheels, imagination, projections, metaphors… Other tools I constantly use are empathetic open ended questions that help clients dig deep and discover their personality and values.

I also use silence a lot as a way to let the client self reflect.

Notably, the mere fact that I believe in my clients, is a priceless tool. It pushes them to believe in themselves and know that they can do it.

Finally and sincerely, many coaches have many tools, but the bond and click the client and coach feel is a great factor in the success of their agreement.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

I would shout out with the conviction that every person should be his own coach or have a life coach.

If all humanity is coached the world will be a better place with less anger, less anxiety, less sadness, more hope, more love, more empathy, and more success…

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

I used to be an overthinker, my mind and thoughts wandered involuntarily to the past and the future always projecting negative scenarios (what if…) or dwelling on unsuccessful experiences, overly stressing…

Then, gradually I learned the greatest lesson in life.

I am now aware of my thoughts and body and I am more self present. I believe in a holistic approach to life now.

I introduced yoga and meditation into my routine, 2 years ago, and I am being coached by a colleague life coach and a health coach in parallel.

The healthy holistic combination made me so much calmer, happier, in tune with my feelings and body parts, fulfilled, more forgiving, and projecting positive energy.

Your final thoughts?

Be true to yourself, know yourself, love yourself, take care of yourself.

We are living in a fast paced world, running around searching for happiness or fulfillment, doing much effort, but sometimes with no success. We invest with private coaches in sports, hobbies, diets… which is amazing, but let us not forget to give time and energy to our mental health and state, which is our most precious asset.

Find Life Coach | Meet Amy Mastrud: How to Balance Your Life?

Amy Mastrud is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her balanced approach to coaching. It is rare that we have here a coach that can help with all 4 pillars (and we avoid approaching anyone who claims to be able to do that because it’s too broad). When you focus on everything you don’t really focus on anything, right? However, Amy is a different case. Why? Because she is using a secret power tool: a platform that comes with videos, worksheets, weekly sessions and community. She is your guide and support as you use the platform. You choose the goals that you need to tackle and she helps you get there. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Amy Mastrud:

find-life-coach-amy-mastrud

Name: Amy Mastrud
Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Body, The Heart
Who is this coach for: For anyone who wants to find balance and improve the quality of life.
How they can help: By using a coaching platform called Oola.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

The Pandemic has created some amazing changes along with some not so good changes.

With that being said I’ve learned that I am much stronger than I thought and the Pandemic has taught my family flexibility.

We have a choice to live life by default or to live life with purpose, this Pandemic has given me the opportunity in choosing to live life with purpose.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

I feel the Pandemic has created even more of an urgency to help support and love on people more than ever.

I daily hear people say that they feel alone, depleted, hopeless and helpless.

After taking the 10 week program they are capable of handling situations with more ease.

As far as affecting me, it just gave me the push to want to help more.

With the Pandemic it has created some amazing new platforms to communicate to people from anywhere in the world.

Because of that I can happily maintain my support to my clients.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

I guess that I am capable of handling situations that are out of my control and that I have learned to incorporate flexibility into my life without fighting it.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I am a Certified Oola Life Coach that is also Green Gap certified.

My passion is to help pull other women forward to finding themselves and their purpose, this was stemmed from my own experiences.

In 2017 I had a mental breakdown and it brought me to a place of not knowing who I was or what my purpose was. I was completely lost and wanted more in life.

I was living life by default (autopilot) and in my gut, I knew that there had to be more.

I had heard of a life coach but had no idea what they did. I asked around and people told me that life coaching can be life changing. I knew that this was my answer.

When I actually took the steps to invest in myself and get a life coach it came with some guilt but also a relief. After my first session with my incredible coach, everything became clear that I made the right choice.

With Kristin and the platform, it was all about my needs and my goals, it was individualized and specific to me. It wasn’t her goals, they were mine. It definitely wasn’t a cookie cutter program.

Because of that, I found myself and became balanced. I became the best version of me!

I had boundaries, I had created quality relationships, I was becoming financially free of my debt and finally was given permission to enjoy life and not spend all my time working.

That feeling of finding myself and knowing that there was more to life made it very clear what my purpose in life was. It was to become a Life Coach.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

As I mentioned before, it probably was my mental breakdown.

I had a moment where I had to choose, should I continue life in a pity party knowing that the mental breakdown caused some brain trauma, or do I take this opportunity to move forward and possibly thrive.

You all know the answer, I took the road to thrive.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

When I get to be a coach to someone, it is all about them and their needs, wants and desires.

I’m there to ask the right questions to pull the information they have in themselves. It’s always in them.

Within the journey of creating a life they don’t want to go on vacation from, I get to support them by keeping them accountable for their goals and dreams. I encourage them to be their best possible self.

This is done by using a platform that comes with videos, worksheets, weekly sessions and community. We concentrate on one of the 7 F’s of Oola each week by creating goals, then put them into place.

I believe that taking small steps every day are the milestones toward achieving big goals. And I’m there as your accountability partner.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

The Oola style of Coaching is unique as it targets life areas, not just one specific area. If we take inventory of our circumstances or our issues, it’s within one of the 7 F’s of Oola, fitness, finances, family, field (an area you spend most of your time), faith (something bigger than you), friends and fun.

For example, it could be a bad marriage, weight could be an issue or you just hate your job, maybe a toxic family is causing issues.

It’s about being balanced in these areas to create a happier healthier lifestyle. As a whole we as humans spend a lot of time focusing on one area of life and the other areas suffer, in return we feel out of sorts or out of balance.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

First and foremost a lifelong friendship.

Over 10 intensive weeks (transformation), you could begin to work on achieving outcomes like these:

1. Eliminate the crushing weight of debt.

2. Change careers and begin living your right livelihood.

3. Resolve toxic family situations.

4. Uplevel your circle of friends and enjoy quality time.

5. Add fun to your life with “bucket list” adventures.

6. Retire early and pursue an “encore” vocation you love.

7. Get healthy, lose excess weight & focus on self care.

8. Start a charity or help causes you believe in.

9. Create the income to stay at home with your kids.

10. Discover your passions.

11. Find yourself.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

The Oola platform gives myself and the client the resources needed to create the life they are searching for.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

I believe in you, be you, you are worthy and create a life you don’t want to vacation from.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

I’m worthy of being me!

Your final thoughts?

Life is too short to live without purpose and to be happy with the life you have been given. Choose to be you and create a legacy that you’re proud of. When you pass, what will people say about you?
