Independence is important at any age but it’s a particularly important consideration for the elderly.
Older adults have spent their whole adult lives living by their own means and losing this independence can be discouraging and distressing.
As the relative or caregiver of a senior, you want the best for your loved one. You want to help them in every way possible while also allowing them to maintain as much freedom as possible. This promotes a positive mindset and gives them a sense of purpose in life.
But this freedom can be difficult when your relative has limited mobility, poor sight, and declining cognitive function.
While aging does come along with lots of challenges, it doesn’t mean that the seniors in your life can’t enjoy independent living. There are now lots of great home modifications and community based services that can make daily living much easier for them without taking away their autonomy.
So, why is it so important for seniors to maintain their independence as they age?
4 Reasons that Explain The Importance of Independence:
1. To Increase sense of control.
Maintaining a sense of control is important for anybody. Elderly people can often feel out of control when they lack independence. They can feel like they aren’t able to make their own decisions and this can make them feel isolated and incapable.
The ability to live independently empowers your elderly relative and promotes a strong sense of self worth and self esteem.
If you’re worried about your loved one being at home on their own but you still want them to maintain as much independence as possible, you can get medical alert systems for seniors installed in their home. These devices will get activated when they are in trouble so they can receive the necessary help from emergency medical services.
You can also arrange a weekly food delivery service to their home so they don’t need to struggle walking around the shops on their own. Allow them to pick out the foods and meals they’d like to get delivered so they feel more in control.
2. To Maintain balance and strength.
Aging often comes along with worsening balance and decreasing strength. By living as independently as possible, your senior relative will likely remain active. They will be moving around a lot on their own to perform their usual activities of daily living.
Muscle weakness and loss are common concerns in the elderly. Regular movement can help to maintain muscle and strength in those who are aging. It also promotes great balance and mobility, reducing the chances of falls and injuries.
When your loved one is moving around independently every day, they will feel more motivated and confident in their own abilities.
You can provide them with mobility devices if you’re concerned about letting them walk around completely unassisted. Some great aids include walking sticks, Zimmer frames, and railings.
3. To maintain a sense of purpose.
Loss of independence can be very discouraging and diminishing for aging individuals. It can be demotivating when they’ve spent years living independently and they’re now reliant on others for their daily activities.
Seniors can feel isolated and helpless when they are unable to perform basic tasks on their own. This can have a negative effect on their mental health and may lower their quality of life.
The ability for your senior relative to make their own decisions is extremely important to maintain a sense of individuality. It’s vital for your loved one to feel confident and fulfilled.
Independent living ensures that they can continue making their own decisions based on their individual needs and preferences. Without this, they might feel like less of an individual.
Doing everything you can for your senior relative to help them maintain their independence will give them a sense of purpose. It enables them to continue finding enjoyment in their lives and boosts their mental health.
When they are able to complete their usual activities without additional support, they will feel a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. You can get home modifications, such as ramps or smart technology devices to make independent home living easier for your loved one.
4. To boost memory.
Memory loss is a natural part of aging, but living independently is one of the best ways to retain key memory skills in the elderly.
Poor memory is often associated with cognitive decline, so it’s crucial that you give your elderly loved one the best opportunities to retain these skills. Daly routine and regular movement are both important to promote independence and boost memory.
Building up your strength with muscle and resistance training is the quickest way to see massive results in your physique.
The more muscle that you have the more calories you burn at rest. This means that if you boost your strength training, you will start to burn up fat even when you are just sitting on the couch watching TV.
There are some things to keep in mind if you want to boost your strength training.
The most important is that you don’t overdo it. It can cause injury taking you away from your training altogether.
Use these four tips from the experts to boost your strength training safely.
4 Tips for Boosting Your Strength Training:
1. Add weight slowly.
It can be tempting to see just how much weight you can physically lift. The problem is that if you don’t have a good form you can tear muscle tissue.
Also, when you lift weights heavier than you should, or increase the intensity too quickly, you are losing out on working the foundational muscle fibers.
Each time you lift weights you are slowly tearing your muscles open. When you rest and you feel that pain, it is your muscles building and repairing themselves.
Supplements are highly beneficial if you have any deficiencies from your diet, or if you strength train more than three times a week.
Some natural sources of proteins and nutrients can help to boost your strength training by increasing your lean muscle gains each time you work out.
If you are considering exercise boosting supplements, turkesterone could be an option. Made from a bioactive compound in the Ajuga Turkestanica plant, a concentrated extract can help to support muscle growth and improve post training aches and pains.
3. Breath properly.
Holding your breath as you lift weights can impede your strength training. Your breathing significantly impacts your performance.
Think about when you get a stitch from running. This happens because your muscles are contracting, putting pressure on your organs including your diaphragm. The continuous jolting pulls on your ligaments, causing a painful stitch.
The standard and safe way to breathe during your training is to exhale when you tense your body and inhale when it’s relaxed.
If you are performing high intensity strength training with some cardio, breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
4. Fewer muscle group per session.
You should be aiming for at least three days of strength training a week.
It’s best to avoid exercising more than two muscle groups in one session.
Change it up a bit by working your back and shoulders on one day, chest and arms the second day, and legs, and abs on the third.
The advantage of this is that during your recovery period, only one part of your body will be sore.
If you work out your whole body on the same day, for instance, you risk not being rested enough for the next session. Rather perform shorter, higher intensity workouts on single muscle groups each session, so that you have a few days or even a week before you have to exercise that muscle group again.
For those of you that like to work out more often, make sure that you have a minimum of two full days of rest before exercising the same muscles.
What you should remember?
Building muscle is part of a healthy lifestyle and the more muscle you have the better your metabolism works.
Take precautions when strength training with these smart tips to get the best results out of every workout session.
Natasha Bell is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her plethora of spiritual gifts. Her coaching is unlike anything you’ve seen before. She is customizing her coaching to each individual being intuitively and spiritually guided. Her main goal is to help you shine light upon your shadows and guide you to realign with your true self. Here is what she said.
Meet Life Coach Natasha Bell:
Name: Natasha Bell Pillar: The Spirit Who is this coach for: For anyone who feels lost in life or in need for a spiritual guidance. How they can help: Mainly by using her Clairsentience to bring the client’s shadow to light or using the other spiritual gifts to see where the client is stuck and what they need to give attention to.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
We are doing great, praise God and thank you for asking. I hope that you and your family are doing well also.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
Yes I caught covid a couple of weeks before Christmas, it was draining. I didn’t take a test but I knew once my taste and smell had gone that I had caught it.
For me that was the worse part, I’ve been pescatarian for about 3 months and to lose my taste buds just before Christmas, would have made eating boring so I’m happy that it only lasted around 5 days and although that felt like a long time.
I was thankful that by Christmas Day, I was able to eat and taste again.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
I’ve learnt to let love guide me, not fear, and to walk by Faith and not sight.
Which was something I’ve always known but I’ve never walked it on this Level before. My twin flame journey has been my biggest challenge.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
I’m a spiritual mindset coach. I decode the Holy Bible with my spiritual gifts Clairsentience, Channelling, claircognisance, empathy, discernment and my connection with the Holy Spirit plays a huge part in my decoding, as I teach on how it’s been shown to me.
I started a new journey with the Holy Spirit after my divorce in 2011, the year I also had my first out of body experience and saw the beautiful luminous lights of the chakras, whilst I was at the top of my bedroom ceiling looking down at me and both my daughters sleeping in bed.
At first I thought these beautiful lights were auras but in 2012 Sri Krishna appeared in my dream twice and he had the same energy feel as Jesus Christ, this led me on the path of the chakras and then the Holy Spirit guided me through the Holy Bible, teaching me the theory as well as showing me the practical.
My first Clairvoyant and Clairaudient experience was at the age of 3 maybe 4, and I never brought it up until I was 21 years old.
My first Clairaudient experience was at the age of 23. My first Spiritual lucid dream was at the age of 17.
I unknowingly became friends with my twin flame in 2012 and in 2015 we started journeying together in 5D.
Through my own personal walk and mind battles with the supernatural included… all my gifts, twin flame heartbreaks, lucid dreaming, karmic endings, earthly breakups, confusion, feeling lost at times, being misunderstood, being triggered, shadowing, mirroring, healing, self excepting and also working for God, sharing scriptures as I went along my journey and reading them also, certainly helped me with my sanity and mindset.
Now I’m ready in 2022 and I’m happy and excited to coach others, as I know that the walk isn’t an easy one and we must protect our mental health, it’s important and what matters.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
My gifts of clairsentience and claircognisance were my hardest obstacles, also along with my journey with my twin flame in 5D, to trust what I felt against what I saw was a challenge that no one but God could help me with.
I was always battling with myself and second guessing my own feelings. This kept me isolated a little, on top of needing isolation for growth.
No one could understand me yet I could feel everyone’s feelings.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
Spiritual affirmations which also includes prayers, incense burning, prayed on gem stones, for energy protection and healing.
However the Holy Spirit guides me, each person will have a different need.
These are the tools that plant the mustard seed of Faith enabling us to not walk by sight, it’s a big part of manifesting.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
I’m a strong empath and using my gift of Clairsentience I’m able to feel my clients emotions as if they are my own, enabling me to feel out and uncover hidden emotions that they may not be ready to face.
This enables me to shine light on their shadow side bringing all things to light that no longer serve them via honest heart to heart discussions.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
A mindset that they feel more in control of, knowing their self worth, creating healthy boundaries away from guilt. They will be able to transform their life with a self belief that they’ve got this and their power is within, all they ever needed to do was to tune in
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
I use my spiritual gifts of discernment, empathy, clairsentience, claircognisance and channelling. At times also Clairvoyance and Clairaudient, whatever gift is best suited at that time.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
We must connect with our truths and heal ourselves. Address the problem, accept it for what it is and then heal it. We must first clean our cup from inside, which is within ourselves, our temple.
World healing truly does start with the man in the mirror.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
My greatest lesson learnt in my life was to let go of the expectation of others and that: you are in total control of your own life and you owe it to yourself to heal you and give to yourself the life you desire.
Your final thoughts?
Fear is a low negative vibration that comes in many forms whether it’s in conversations, Tv, the cost of living, signed contracts, etc. The lack of freedom in our minds keep us tied to our comfort zone.
Lost Faith, passion, purpose and hope keep us tied down to places and things we’ve outgrown for way longer than we should, and when this happens life becomes depressing, boring, and frustrating, like we’re constantly going round and round in a negative circle with no air.
Anything we’ve outgrown becomes toxic.
We must break the cycle by taking a leap of Faith to get what we really want out of life and it starts by rebuilding, by letting go of what no longer serves us.
There’s no other way than to walk by Faith and not sight. Which is hard for us to do so when we don’t feel worthy to obtain what we’re picturing in our minds by Faith, when we’re using substances that quench the Holy Spirit power within us. This is also what anti depressants were designed to do.
Sacrificing must be part of our manifesting in order to attract it, by feeling that we deserve it. So we must make changes, heal and let go.

Unless you sleep under a rock, you’ve probably heard about blockchain. It’s a technology that is changing the world and possibly saving our planet.
What is blockchain technology?
Blockchain is basically a public decentralized ledger that exists across a network and it’s mostly used for cryptocurrencies.
It publicly records all transactions happening by using that technology and it keeps track of the digital assets people own.
Why it is a good thing to have everything public? Isn’t that what we try to avoid?
Well, if everything is public then nobody can hide anything. And if nobody can hide anything then we do’t need 3rd party entities like banks to keep track for us. So in a way, by making everything public we become more independent.
But that’s not all, here is how blockchain is changing the world on better.
3 Ways How Blockchain is Changing The World:
1. Digitalization of important paper.
With blockchain technology there has been a rise in cryptocurrencies and blockchain companies all around the world. The latest trend is environment friendly companies that use the blockchain technology to make a positive difference in the world.
Each company usually has their own cryptocurrency. But the beauty is in how they use their coin or token to make a positive impact.
How everything works? Let’s make it less complicated!
People want to make money and gathering coins and tokens is a way to do that. There are companies that offer one of their tokens for electricity generated by your solar panel promoting the usage of solar powered homes. There are others that let you generate a certain amount of their coin when you ride your bike.
The tokens and coins you acquire have a certain value on the crypto markets and you can easily exchange them for real cash in many countries around the world.
One company that grabbed our attention is WarrantyBox. They aim to create a paperless future where all your important documents will be stored on the blockchain and accessible through your phone, from anywhere and at any time.
They are still at their early stages of development and you still have a chance to become part of this project while it’s still an infant, earn money and decrease the usage of paper in the world by joining their cause. Go and join their telegram group while it’s still free to get more info about their roadmap, maybe even speak with the CEOs and share your ideas with them.
2. Decentralized currency.
Another great thing about blockchain technology is decentralized currency like Bitcoin.
There is no better form of currency than the Bitcoin according to many economists. It is scarce, transferrable, but most importantly, you can fully own it without using a third party entity to keep it for you.
You can keep it online in some crypto market like Binance or you can put it on your personal ledger. And those credits don’t need to go through any 3rd party. They are yours to use. How much you have it’s written and documented publicly so nobody can deny what’s yours.
All of this creates an interesting online economy where we would most likely not need any banks nor need to have any type of inflation.
3. A decent chance for the average person.
Up until now, you, the average person didn’t have a chance to invest really early into the upcoming projects that have huge potential to go BIG. Only a licensed investor can do that. And to become a licensed investor you need at least 1M$ in your bank account.
The game was rigged against you, so to say. If you have money then you are allowed to make even more money by investing in early startups that might become the new Amazon.
However, blockchain and cryptocurrencies changed everything. Now the average person has the chance to invest early into crypto coins or blockchain startups and 100X their money in few months if those projects have a decent launch.
Just look at the TOP 100 coins from last year and the TOP 100 coins now. They are almost the same. Yet, their value is at least 10X from the last year. What this says is that the blockchain terrain for new projects is fertile.
There are good upcoming projects that are at their early stages, like WarrantyBox, and if you invest early you are most likely going to make some really good returns.
You don’t need a license, 1M$ in your bank account, or anything more than an internet connection and a crypto wallet that you can easily create on MetaMask.
Now this is not a financial advice and I am not telling you where to put your money or what to do with your money. You can do whatever you want. I am no financial advisor. I am just sharing with you information that is in my opinion obvious. You can do whatever you want with it.
What You Should Remember?
The new blockchain technology is changing the world, and some of the changes are actually really positive.
There are many projects on the blockchain network like WarrantyBox that are just starting and aim to create a better world by helping the planet environmentally.
The opportunity that humanity has with this new technology is incomparable. From paperless future to online economy without banks and an equal chance for everyone… We truly live in the most exciting time in human history, ever.

Have we all given into the illusion that comes January 1 of each year, something magical happens, and poof all is well? Well, that does not seem realistic at all.
Maybe we focus on the external way too much to grant us our magic ticket to happiness, when looking within is where the gold is. That is before pandemic-onium has occurred.
I know for me, when I am in my own little bubble of my world, everything is working well, and in alignment with myself. Then I need to leave the bubble of my world and go to work and entangle with the denser energies of the 3rd dimensional world. I am sure I am not alone in this.
The 3rd dimensional world is highly dense, with a lot of focus on fear driven ideas, creating chaos, and pandemonium… maybe even pandemic-onium. For those of us who have to maneuver through this, it can be daunting and challenging at best.
What is pandemic-onium?
It is where everything is being reacted to because of fear, without any logic, creating unnecessary chaos and drama, and the lack of common sense and the use of our innate wisdom.
Usually, I am able to allow things to roll off my back, but not this.
After a much restful holiday, it was time to head back to the hospital to return to my contract work.
As we all are aware, the latest coronavirus strain, is spreading rapidly. The good thing is that it is a milder strain and the possibility of herd immunity may now be possible. Everyone is getting it, even those who are double vaxxed and boostered.
Unfortunately, there are also a lot of false positive results. Meaning that when a person is tested, with or without symptoms, the reading is not accurate, and is registered as positive for the virus.
It so happened on my day back, to 3D reality, I obtained my antigen self test for the virus as I usually do, and this time it was positive! I thought, how can that be? I do not have any symptoms. I demanded another repeat test, and as I suspected, the results were negative.
What happened next completely floored me. The institution where I was contracted did not allow me to continue my work that day, since the first test was positive, even though the second was negative, and I was without symptoms.
As a healthcare practitioner, it was so obvious to me, when the patient is not displaying or having any symptoms and a test comes back contrary to that in this case, covid positive, you run a second test to validate.
This is common sense that seems to have been bypassed with the pandemic. But no, the institution, said that the first test is what we go by. I found this counter to everything a good practitioner of medicine would do.
It gets even more interesting.
I was told by the employee health department at the institution that doing consecutive tests lowers the viral load and can give a negative reading. I knew this was not true, and had to refrain from responding to this. Sometimes no response is the correct response.
One can use the analogy that either you are pregnant or not. A consecutive test would validate the truth. In this case of covid testing, the second test was negative. Additionally, a 3rd test later in the afternoon also was negative. So, one positive and 2 negative, no symptoms, not able to go back to work.
I was instructed to report to Employee Health the next day for the PCR test for Covid. I returned the next day to employee health. Despite having 2 consecutive negative tests, and no symptoms, I was treated as if I was highly contagious.
I decided to observe this madness, and not say a word, yet my eyes were rolling as if I could not believe the craziness. I did the PCR test, tested negative, and returned to work.
Now, this craziness disrupted the department, causing drama and chaos, both of which are not conducive to a healing environment for the patients served and the employees who work there.
I believe that the pandemic has affected the ability for people to make sound decisions, and react to put out fires, even though there have been no fires to be put out, only the ones they have created and manifested, adding to Pandemic-onium.
Here are The 3 Things I Learned in This Pandemic-Onium:
1. The world is reacting from fear.
The world has gone mad… creating Pandemic-onium… reacting from fear, attempting to control situations that are uncontrollable.
2. Rarely who follows real science.
Don’t believe everything that is presented to you, trust your inner wisdom and common sense.
3. Your point of view matters.
Share your point of view with others, you are not alone and have more in common with others. You just might inspire others to speak up as well.
The gold for me is to continue to honor my wisdom, share my wisdom, and inspire others to do so as well. Here’s to an amazing 2022!
Abby Hussein is one of the coaches we found and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her brave and direct approach to coaching. She doesn’t want to create a dependent clients. Her way of coaching is more about creating a community of people that have the tools to help themselves, rather than clients dependent on a certain practice. Here is what she said.
Meet Life Coach Abby Hussein:
Name: Abby Hussein Pillar: The Mind Who is this coach for: Mainly for women who want feel stuck in life and want to update a better mindset. How they can help: By using plethora of NLP techniques and lots of coaching exercises, questions.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
We are all good thank you. Hope you and yours are too. It’s been a tough one seeing as we are all on the vulnerable list so the risks are higher, but we keep a positive mindset and do what we can to stay safe.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
As I mainly work with women, the pandemic has been really tough for them.
Working from home, home schooling and sustaining a career in an uncertain climate has been a challenge, but with the right mindset, all obstacles can be overcome and we can still thrive instead of just surviving.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
We must make up our minds and to do that, we need knowledge.
Gather the right people around that lift your spirits.
Life is not guaranteed, so do what makes you happy and peace will come.
Most importantly, be genuinely kind to others, you never know what they are facing.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
I have always worked in a customer service industry, and used to sell services.
I started coaching when I had my baby boy. As a single mum, I realized that I need to do more than just provide the basics.
I wanted to raise a decent and thriving human being and knew that to accomplish that I had to start with me and set the example. I believe in “do what I do not do as I say”.
I started on my self improvement journey in 2008, and my life changed dramatically for the better.
I took a foundation course in psychosynthesis counseling before discovering that coaching is my calling.
I am also a master NLP practitioner as my passion is understanding how the human brain functions and how to shift beliefs and mindset to improve perspective and enhance lives.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
Growing up in a Muslim household, ruled by a narcissistic father, I had to deal and heal from a lot of trauma and work really hard to create an empowering belief system.
Un-learning destructive coping mechanisms and re-learning a new way of being centered in self love wasn’t easy, but it has taught me a lot and this helps me help my clients achieve their goals.
We are all a continuous work in progress and as some of us are just further along our journey than others. I believe it is our job to make it easier for others along the way, a guide if you like.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
I use a fusion of techniques with my clients as no two people are the same so it’s really important to me to create a tailored program specifically for each client, a really in depth and detailed discovery session where we hash out all their ideas and dreams and get really clear on their ultimate goal.
It’s surprising what people think they want as opposed to what they really need.
This is where the magic begins.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
My coaching is tailor made to fit each client.
We are all unique should be treated and celebrated that way. I build a community, not a practice.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
Tools and techniques that they can use over and over again by themselves.
I teach them to help themselves as I don’t believe in creating codependent relationships, which are draining to both the client and the coach.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
A plethora of NLP techniques and lots of coaching exercises and questions to really get deep and uncover the magic within.
We have all the answers, we just need to be asked the right questions and guided a little to find them.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
Forget everything you think you’ve been told you ‘should’ be and find out who you really are and what you want to be.
Stop chasing dreams that are forced upon you and start chasing your own.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
No one is coming to save you. You have to be your own hero.
If you wait on others to do the right thing by you, you will be waiting forever. People do the right thing for themselves, even if they think otherwise.
It’s important to put your needs first so that you can then take care of the needs of others. Protect your energy and protect your peace. Become selffull not selfish.
Your final thoughts?
We can have it all, but we need to define what ‘all’ is for each one of us as individuals, not as a group.
We were not created the same, so to strive for the same things is insane.

Anthony White is one of the coaches that we discovered this month and we did a little interview with him. He is a motivational speaker and he impressed us with his energy and insane dedication. He is unstoppable when it comes to spreading his message so it can reach as many people as possible and help them become the best version of themselves. Here is what he said.
Meet Life Coach Anthony White:
Name: Anthony White Pillar: The Heart Who is this coach for: For individuals who are going through hard times, anxiety, traumas, and need support, clarity and someone to help them take the weight off of their shoulders. How they can help: By using customized approach for each individual, discussion and motivation.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
My family is doing good during these times. Everyone is healthy, thriving.
I don’t really see my family much because I’m always out of state doing business but when I do see them it’s always a great time.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
Honestly I know it made my clients come more out of their shell.
They got to be alone and understand themselves more than ever. It let them self examine, and when they come to me they understand what they want to do and how they want to think but they just don’t know the correct steps to get to where they want to be.
The virus didn’t effect me at all, it made me grind more than I ever did. It made me more disciplined and to really crack down on myself. It made me see who was worth my time and to be around to get to where I want to be. It showed me where to put my time as well as attention and focus on the present and the future and to never give up.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
I’d say the biggest lesson during this pandemic would be focusing on me and disciplining myself.
I had to really focus on me to figure out who I was as a person, and it was very challenging at first.
Figuring out who I was as a person and how I can understand myself to help the people around me. Figuring out how to take accountability for myself and my actions. I figured out that patience was also a huge key.
Everyone wants their accomplishments and dreams to come true as soon as they can think without taking action. You have to have faith and trust in your plan that everything will workout all in gods plan while you take action. It just takes patience.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
I’m a Motivational Speaker and Author of the series “1 Second 7 Days”. I’m from Cleveland Ohio one of the most dangerous places to live in the U.S.
I traveled around the world to different colleges, high schools, middle schools. I speak about mental health, past trauma as well as how to attack your dreams step by step. I hold 1 on 1 calls with clients helping them become the best versions of themselves. I help them understand the human mind and the habits they have obtained without being aware over the years.
I also tell my life story on how my mother who had 9 kids raised none and how I was born as a premature crack baby being the youngest of the 9.
I started my coaching career by being honest and going public with it.
I’ve always helped people and always had a passion for it to make a change in someone’s life. I’ve traveled to LA to be on the radio, I’ve traveled to Houston to be in the radio. I spoke in front of 3 countries and fox studios.
I was very persistent to have these things happen, I never took “no” for an answer or someone not looking at an email. I texted them and called them everyday till they answered and gave me a shot to tell my story to the world.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
I’d have to say learning how to be alone and do everything for myself.
If I wanted something growing up I had to go find a way to get it by any means necessary. If I was feeling upset I had no shoulder to cry on or have anyone I can trust to cope with me or to understand how I feel, nor just any person I can run to at all.
When I was homeless at a certain point in my life for two years I noticed that you have nobody but yourself. Nobody is going to lend a hand, nobody is going to be there for you when you need them the most, whether they know you need it or not. You have to pull yourself out of the dirt and even in your toughest moments.
You have two choices, either you can settle with what life is throwing at you, or you face it with open arms, alone, with your head up high.
You have to never give up no matter what gets handed to you in life.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
I simply show them the change and where the problems are coming from within the self.
Once you figure out where the negative source or confused source is coming from then you can easily walk in your clients shoes as you understand them. You can introduce them to new ideas or different ways of thinking so they can progress up the ladder like never before.
You show them why they should hop out of their comfort zone to grow. If you stay In your comfort zone you will continue to wonder and question. Now if you stop wondering and get uncomfortable with your thoughts and everything around you, then you can never question… you will do nothing but strive.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
I understand everyone learns differently. I can’t say I have a unique approach to everyone the same way.
Everyone has their own style of learning and thinking. I figure out how their thought process is working first, so I can understand how to teach them the best way possible.
I can’t give everyone the same techniques or advice because everyone has their own story and own background they come from in life.
I teach them with all my heart and never give up on any of them because it all comes with patience and truly making a change in the world.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
They get a weight lifted off their shoulder’s. They get the knowledge and answers they were searching for and that they didn’t even know they needed.
My clients will know how to get through anxiety, depression, trauma etc. The man or woman that they see themselves as being… after working with me they will be that person, without a doubt.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
I’d say everyone follow their dreams!
Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. If you are here in this earth, right now, you you have a purpose to be here. It could be a big purpose or a small purpose, but you better believe that you have one!
It’s okay to have tough moments in life, sad ones, mad ones, scared ones, but remember at your toughest moments: you never gave up, so DONT START NOW!
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
Always be open to different perspectives. Everyone has their own way of looking at things. Someone can misunderstand you just because they see a different perspective and they haven’t been introduced to a new one.
In order to understand someone you have to walk in their shoes to feel where they are coming from and the emotions that they experience. I always say no idea is a dumb idea because at some point in time someone thought every invention we have today was dumb.
Always be open to new opportunity but always realize not every opportunity is meant for you.
Your mind is strong as much as you think it is and it can do more than you can imagine. Your mind is the most powerful tool you have in the world as well as your soul. So learn to balance them both and you’ll unlock the best version of yourself.
Balance duality, your mind and your body, and you’ll become who you were meant to be.
Your final thoughts?
Never expect your dreams to come true just because you think of them. If you don’t take action the second you think of it, you are missing an opportunity. If not now then when?
Nobody is coming to save you for when you get lost in life. You are going to encounter bad days, good days, struggling moments. It’s part of the process and you have to learn how to love this part of the process. Because if you don’t, it’s going to be hard to love your outcome.
Everything you are going through right now, no matter if you are struggling or doing good. Embrace it.
Ask yourself are you happy where you are today? What did you do to put yourself where you are right now? Never give up, take action, also have fun and love yourself please.
You only get one life, make the best of it.

As a Certified Life Coach, I know the power of words. I give my clients the “tools,” or the words and suggestions, and they “build the house” by taking action.
I assist in helping people focus on reframing self talk, or turning negative talk into affirmations. I believe in speaking goals and personal aspirations as if they have already happened.
As much as manifesting your desires may fulfill your dreams, there remains a space where taking action is still mandatory. Steps are needed to bring the change and desires to fruition.
Without moving forward, words are really just noise.
Throughout my life, I’ve been around many people who “Talk the Talk.” I’ve learned how true phrases such as “talk is cheap” and ” giving it lip service” are.
It can be one of the most frustrating awarenesses of human behavior.
It’s natural to speak what we want or wish we could have, but the struggle to motivate ourselves and initiate the steps to change can be challenging and even debilitating for some.
Some may have a more manipulative nature and will say what they think others want to hear with no intentions of fulfilling the effort needed. This is to fulfill a need for a sense of belonging or acceptance, even though there is no sincerity behind the verbiage.
I know several business owners with friends who praise their accomplishments, but never invest in their products or services offered in support of their friend. I know Coaches who don’t live the values and suggestions they provide to their clients.
One thing I value in myself, is the ability to stand by my word. If I SAY it, I DO it. For example, a client I coach is expanding her business. I encourage her to think outside of the box and try new unconventional ideas. When she created an event for a Backyard Boutique and invited me, of course I would go. I purchased an item from each vendor booth and demonstrated my support. Essentially, I “walked the walk.”
She invests in my business and I invest in hers. It’s a balance of respect and appreciation.
When I wrote my first book, my family and friends all insisted on purchasing the book. Even my own children bought my books! It was their way of showing me they really believed in me and supported me.
So ask yourself this: How much am I showing up through the actions I take for those around me who I cherish? Don’t just say I care about my circle. Go to lunch, send a card, or be there when they need you.
4 Ways to Make Yourself Take More Action:
Here are some tips on how to “walk the talk” and see the power of taking action, well, in action.
1. Every word you speak is a promise.
When you speak, think of everything thing you say as a sincere commitment. View it as if the relationship or friendship is on the line if you’re not meeting that promise. This is where you show your value and integrity.
2. Choose wisely.
As humans, we are the only species that has the capability to form words to verbally communicate. Choose what you say to one another with careful consideration.
Often times, people will state, “I didn’t mean it that way,” or “I was just teasing you!” Think about the person on the receiving end and not just your need to articulate. Think of how you would feel if you received the same message.
3. Be a DOer, not a SAYer.
When an event is held, do your friends and family count on you to attend? Or do they think you’ll just say you’ll come and then not show up?
If you tell someone, “if you need anything, let me know.” Do you really mean it or is it just a habit to say? Be someone who can commit to others.
Be that person that others know they can count on.
4. Stop the madness.
We all know that friend, family member, or coworker who continually complains about their life. They are the victims of this life. Nothing goes well for them ever!
Even if we listen for hours on end and give some sound advice, next week they come back with the same “stuff.” It can be draining.
First, we must learn the boundaries of not putting ourselves in the repetitive conversations. Second, realize that the person probably enjoys the sympathy, empathy, as attention they receive from sharing their woes.
Are you a “fixer” and easily get sucked into these scenarios? Learn to set boundaries. Set a time limit for the discussion. Stop giving advice the individual is not ready to hear. Stop encouraging the outpour by initiating the conversations with questions such as, “how are you doing today?” or “were you able to solve that issue?”
In the end, realize the power of your words, and the even mightier power of taking action!
