Namrata Dhasmana is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her experience in coaching.
She has been in countles industries from military to being a business consultant in Guide Point. But throughout all of her career, since her army days she has been a leader and coaching.
She has a deep passion for coaching, motivating and helping people discover their strengths, their true selves and gain clarity so they can have their breakthrough in life.
Her approach is all about finding the core values and helping her clients to stop identifying with the societal ideas of them, and instead align with who they really are, their real self. Here is what she said.
Meet Life Coach Namrata Dhasmana:
Name: Namrata Dhasmana
Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to align with their true self, gain clarity and confidence to have their breakthrough in life.
How they can help: Through a program called Strength Finder, also by using various tools and techniques like becoming aware of the core values of the individual, and an exercise called “Name It, Aim It and Claim It” just to name a few.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
Thanks so much for asking.
The Pandemic has bonded us closer than before.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
The Pandemic created confusion and insecurity among people.
Strength Finder empowered them and made them confident after they were laid off from the organisations.
The pandemic helped me to grow as an individual, to do innovations for my clients and give them a reality check to improve their emotional wellness.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
The pandemic made me more natural and closer to self.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
Great, my career spanned widely from serving in military as an officer to working in leadership roles in MNCs like Vedanta, Wells Fargo, Genpact and as a business consultant in Guide Point and GLG.
My coaching journey has been with me as a leader since army days to lead my troops and keep them motivated in tough terrains and challenges.
In a transition from military to Corporate, I picked up Gallup as a strength based philosophy and believe you me Dejan, that was the best choice for empowering and coaching my clients and teams in the organisations.
Now I have a process of giving a complimentary exploratory round of coaching.
Let me also tell you what this exploratory round consists of…
When people come for exploratory round- they are not ready to accept their limiting mindsets.
They like to get acknowledged in their life as they have been living how they have been told.
The other kind of clients are those who are open with their shortcomings and look for tools to navigate in their career and improve productivity.
I help them in exploratory rounds to explore themselves and unleash their true potential with the help of my tools and process.
Sometimes I use DISC, sometimes solution based coaching models.
Strengthsfinder is also one of the most underestimated model and restricted with strengths and weaknesses.
My sessions take a deeper insight of getting associated with underlying emotions and making them aware of their surface emotions and empowering them with their innate strength.
My other USP is identifying their personal core values and that is where the break through moments come in my clients’ life.
As a leader and as a coach, it is not only relevant but essential to have an empowered team and set of people who are motivated, jovial, and look forward for their day at work.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
I keep my mindset open to learn, experience, and reflect for self improvement.
That kept me on my journey.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
That’s something I love doing.
Whether it’s a remote coaching or in person coaching, I make sure the value prepositions are as per my client.
Along with my experience and my tools, I innovate my methodology after having an understanding of my client.
Grow model is never successful with executives or leaders.
They come with issues of anger management, non acceptance with the team.
They get perspective of their leaders and learn the language and art of conversation.
By making them do role play, it helps them to get perspectives of other people and self improve.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
My approach is to make my client have a breakthrough by giving them their self confidence and using I AM Framework, which is more than any affirmation.
I give practical insights of who they are and how they can scale up in their life with their innate strengths and governing emotions.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
They stop claiming their false self.
They know what brings them joys and what annoys them.
That’s their break through moment.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
Yes, I use “Name It, Aim It and Claim It”.
Most of the people live to fit in the parameters created by others.
Once they learn what they are good at and what empowers them, they are able to lead their lives and their purpose.
Secondly, awareness of personal values brings them those insights, what they truly seek and how to achieve it.
Mostly people are stuck in the societal fundamental values and are not truly aware of their personal core values and their construct.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
Your knowledge and information is never complete.
Respect people and stop assuming things and people.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
Enjoy the journey and not the final destination.
Your final thoughts?
Life is too short, have faith in the Lord and believe in self.
You are born to do wonders in life.

Belinda Hawkins is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her wisdom, dedication, and positivity.
She felt anxiety and a sense of not belonging from a very young age. That lead her to try many ways of trying to find herself. Once she realized that all the time she was actually looking for her true self, the one she was before the world installed all those negative beliefs and limitations, she changed her whole perspective on Life.
She found a coach who helped her let go and heal all those negative emotions and limitations the world put on her. However, her main problem stem from her job. She was a person that took her job really seriously. But stress, anxiety in combination with her dedication and hard work, it all lead her to a seizure that stopped her heart. After doctors brought her back to life, she changed her whole life.
Her approach to coaching is all about discovering the inner conflict, the parts of you that need healing, and then helping you heal. Here is what she said.
Meet Life Coach Belinda Hawkins:
Name: Belinda Hawkins
Pillar: The Spirit, The Heart
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to let go of the old, heal, and stop their inner conflict so they can align with their true self.
How they can help: By using mainly two coaching systems, the Transformation Coaching System™ and the Inner Freedom Coaching System™NLP.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
My family is all good now but South Africa had an extremely strict lockdown in 2020 which was tough.
2021 had a new set of challenges as the lockdown had been lifted but many of my family members contracted the virus during that year, including my parents who are both in their eighties so that was quite an anxious time but they both recovered from it fairly quickly.
We are very lucky that no one was hospitalised and everyone recovered.
I would say we are all very blessed.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
I was not yet a practicing Coach during the most devastating part of the pandemic so I never had clients during that time.
I was always there as support for people I know to come to when they needed to but not as a practicing coach.
Yes I was definitely affected by the pandemic.
The additional stress added to my already stressed life is what pushed me over the edge causing me to have multiple grand mal seizures that ultimately pushed me into changing my career and becoming a coach.
I have clients that come to me now that are still suffering the consequences of the pandemic such as loss of income or strained relationships following the stress of the pandemic.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
Don’t take anyone (your loved ones and friends) or anything (your freedom) for granted because in an instant it can be taken away from you.
Human beings and human contact is so important, it feeds our souls.
Be kind to everyone you come into contact with because you have no idea what hardship they may be going through.
Everyone deserves your kindness.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
From a young age I felt like I never really belonged, I didn’t quite fit in, I hated school and for as long as I can remember always felt that surely there had to be more to life than just this!
I was a very shy and anxious child and unfortunately anxiety dominated my life until recently.
I believe it is because of my childhood that my greatest hobby in life has been self improvement so that I could become my best self and that journey started in my early twenties.
Over these decades I have done so many different courses, therapies, read books, gone on retreats, you name I did it.
Some worked some didn’t, I learned a lot but I was never finding the answer I was searching for.
Then, about 8 years ago I realised I couldn’t find what I was searching for because I was searching for me.
The real me, the one before the world got hold of me and gave me their beliefs and ideas about who I should or shouldn’t be.
That changed my outlook and I found a teacher who could help me unlearn everything I thought I knew about me and the world.
Even though I was always working on myself that was my hobby and it was my job that was causing a lot of problems in my life.
I was one of those stable office job people who always worked late, never took enough leave and my stress and anxiety levels were through the roof.
None of that mattered though because I loved the stability of a monthly pay cheque.
I also loved my clients, I did not like the industry I was in but I loved my clients.
In late 2019 I finally decided that I was going to leave my industry as I could not cope with the anxiety any longer but I was not sure what I was going to do.
I consulted a Life Coach who said I should be a Life Coach but I was not convinced.
In 2020 when the pandemic hit I was working from home in isolation, I lived on my own, and the additional stress from work was more than I could handle.
One day, my body decided enough was enough and in September 2020 I had a grand mal seizure.
As luck would have it some of us had returned to work at the office and I had the seizure at the office and not at home.
I was hospitalised and I had numerous seizures in the hospital until my heart stopped and I had to be resuscitated.
Had I been at home on my own I would have died.
I had never suffered from Epilepsy before, it does not run in my family and the doctors could find no reason other than stress that could have caused the seizures but they would not give that as a diagnosis.
That day changed my life.
It took me some time to get back on my feet but within a month I was working with a business coach to help me decide what direction my life was going to take.
The business coach told me to be a Life Coach but it did not feel right.
I didn’t want to take people form where they are now to where they want to be.
I kept thinking back to how my life had changed once I started cleaning out the old, the negative beliefs, the negative emotions, the old relationships and the baggage that was preventing me from being my best self.
In my search for my purpose, which I was now aware was going to be in the coaching environment, I looked back at my own life and realised I wanted to be a Transformation Coach.
In November 2021 I left my job, my career of 28 years, to start studying.
I was unable to work and study at the same time as my job was too demanding.
Most of my life I had been preparing myself for this role without even knowing it and from the time I resigned all the pieces just fell into place so beautifully.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
Learning that I am good enough.
My entire life I had felt that I was not good enough and it affected every area of my life.
It caused a great deal of anxiety and in different situations it played out in one of two ways.
Either it pushed me to overcompensate for where I thought I lacked and so I was over working, a people pleaser and never setting boundaries.
Or I never even tried because I thought I would never be able to do it and I missed out on so much.
I started to find my worth when I was working with my teacher.
I managed to move jobs and double my salary which I would never have asked for such an amount for before.
From then, my value grew and grew especially when I quit my job because I was standing up for myself and my wellbeing.
Doing the Transformation Coaching course amplified it once again.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
I always start off with an hours free consultation so that we can get to know each other a bit and so that the prospective client can make sure that they are comfortable with me.
Spending this time together allows me to assess their self awareness and how I am going to begin our journey together.
Every client is different and needs to be met where they are in their journey.
There is no one size fits all remedy.
In the beginning, I used to set a plan of how I was going to coach my clients but I soon learned that clients surprise you in the most amazing ways so even though I may have a plan of how I am going to help heal them I always leave room for the unexpected.
I have beautiful techniques that help clients release their negative beliefs, emotions and inner conflict, just to name a few, however there are some clients for who those techniques are not what they need but rather to talk and cry and release what needs to be let go of.
Once the old hurts have been healed it is then time to build up again with all of the tools they will need to face the world now that their old “go to” patterns have been removed.
I like to start off by building their self love and then giving them a new self image that they have chosen for themselves and then boosting their self confidence.
Listening to the needs of my client is what helps me get the results we are both looking for.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
I allow my intuition to guide me on how to help my clients.
Every client is different and every time they walk through my door I get a different version of them.
Sometimes the session goes according to my plan but more often than not I have had to abandon the plan and follow my intuition and listen and follow their lead to what it is that they need to heal on that day.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
When it comes to the cleaning out processes I assist the client to heal their inner conflict.
An example of this is when you would like to do something or start something new and part of you wants to do it but a part of you doesn’t.
So you have two conflicting parts, one wants to move you forward and the other wants to hold you back.
I also heal negative beliefs, it is a beautiful journey and very quick.
Negative emotional healing going back to your childhood, this too is a beautiful journey and removes those emotional triggers very quickly and easily.
I can remove phobias and traumas although it is better to work with a person with trauma face to face.
Then the building up processes.
I have a beautiful and gentle unconditional self love technique to build your self love.
A special technique to change and boost your self image and self confidence.
In addition I offer regular counselling for people who prefer to just talk through their issues and find their peace that way.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
I work with two coaching systems.
The first is the Transformation Coaching System™ and the second is the Inner Freedom Coaching System™NLP but I do not do Hypnosis.
In addition, I use Meditation.
Last but not least Intuition, my greatest asset.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
Thoughts count.
They either count for you or against you so become aware of what you think about.
Think about this for a moment, everything on earth that is man made first started with a thought.
Our thoughts are actually vibrational waves of energy containing information.
When you have the same thought day after day, over time it creates an effect.
When a thought is combined with an emotion the creative power increases.
Thoughts are so powerful they can bring something into existence, they create.
Your thoughts create your reality so you literally become what you think about, be that positive or negative.
Start becoming aware of your thoughts and when you find them going down a negative path, turn them around and put them on a positive path.
If you can change what you think about you, it can change your life and become the creator of your own reality.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
Follow your heart because it knows the way.
For too many years I followed my mind rather than listening to my heart and following your mind is a dangerous thing.
Everything in the universe is a vibration or energy in motion and our energy comes from our heart not our mind.
We call this intuition.
When you do not listen to your intuition, it is your ego that you are listening to, which lives in your mind.
The ego lives in the past and works according to history so you will stay there and continue to live in your mind repeating the same old patterns.
The pandemic and the seizures taught me to listen to my heart, my intuition for the very first time and since then I am a much happier, healthier person.
Your final thoughts?
Life is an awesome journey but sometimes the path is a little rough, dark and a bit lonely.
All you need is someone to hold the lantern to light your path so that you can navigate your way through the obstacles safely and find your way home.
That is my greatest desire, to walk beside in your hours of need and to see you safely back home.
Thank you Dejan for this opportunity, it is greatly appreciated.

A life coach can be an invaluable asset when it comes to achieving your goals and improving your overall well being.
Whether you’re looking to make a career change, improve your relationships, or simply find more meaning in your life, a good coach can help you get there.
But how do you go about finding the right coach for you?
In this article, we’ll explore some tips and strategies for finding a life coach that is a good fit for your needs.
A Step by Step Guide to Finding the Perfect Life Coach:
Before you start your search for a coach, it’s important to take some time to consider what you’re looking to achieve through coaching.
Different coaches will have different areas of expertise, so it’s important to find someone who specializes in the areas that you need help with.
1. Identify Your Goals.
The first step in finding the right coach is to identify your goals.
What are you hoping to achieve through coaching?
Are you looking to make a career change, improve your relationships, or simply find more meaning in your life?
What do you want a life coach to help you do?
Knowing what you want to achieve will make it easier to find a coach who can help you get there.
2. Research Different Coaching Approaches.
Once you know what you’re looking for, you can start researching different coaching approaches.
Some coaches will use a more traditional, one on one approach, while others may use group coaching or online coaching.
Each approach has its own strengths and weaknesses, so it’s important to find the one that works best for you.
3. Look for a Coach with the Right Credentials.
When you’re looking for a coach, it’s important to find someone with the right credentials.
Look for coaches who have been certified by reputable organizations, such as the International Coach Federation (ICF).
These coaches will have met certain standards of education and experience, and will be held to a code of ethics.
4. Check out Reviews and Testimonials.
One of the best ways to find a good coach is to read reviews and testimonials from other clients.
This can give you a sense of what it’s like to work with a particular coach, and can help you decide whether or not they would be a good fit for you.
After you’ve narrowed down your list of potential coaches, it’s important to schedule an initial consultation with each one.
This will give you a chance to meet with the coach and discuss your goals in more detail.
It will also give you an opportunity to get a sense of the coach’s personality and approach, and to decide whether or not you feel comfortable working with them.
5. Look for the Right Fit.
Once you’ve found a coach with the right credentials and a proven track record, the next step is to find someone you feel comfortable working with.
Here are the 3 things you should look for:
1. Look for Someone You Trust.
Coaching is a very personal process, and it’s important to find someone you trust.
You’ll be sharing a lot of personal information with your coach, so it’s important to find someone you feel comfortable talking to.
2. Look for Someone Who Understands You.
It’s also important to find a coach who understands you.
Look for someone who has experience working with clients who have similar goals and challenges to yours.
3. Look for Someone Who Inspires You.
Finally, look for a coach who inspires you.
A good coach will be someone who you can look up to, and who will help you believe in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals.
What you should remember?
Finding the right life coach can be a difficult process, but it’s worth the effort.
A good coach can help you achieve your goals, improve your overall well being and become the best version of yourself.
By considering your needs, researching different coaching approaches, looking for a coach with the right credentials, checking out reviews and testimonials, and meeting with the coach, you can find the right fit for you.

Dealing with difficult behaviors in elderly family members can be a challenging and stressful situation.
It is important to understand the underlying causes of such behavior and take measures to ensure the safety and well being of both yourself and your elderly family member.
This article will discuss five key strategies for dealing with difficult behaviors in an elderly family member: identify the behaviors and causes, don’t take it personally, avoid conflict and set boundaries, remain patient and flexible, and consider caregivers as a last resort.
Remember, the elderly family members may exhibit challenging behaviors due to physical and mental deterioration. Learn these strategies to handle their difficult behaviors in the most loving and humane way possible.
5 Strategies to Deal With Difficult Behaviors in Elders:
1. Identify The Behaviors And Causes.
The first step in dealing with challenging behaviors is identifying what’s causing them.
There are many potential causes for changes in behavior.
Some may be due to physical ailments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, while others may be environmental factors such as stress or loneliness.
It can help if you take time out from your daily life and observe your elderly family member closely over some time so that you can identify any repeated patterns or triggers of the behavior.
This will give you greater insight into what’s causing the difficult behaviors and help you plan a course for dealing with them.
2. Don’t Take The Behavior Personally.
It can be easy to take our elderly family member’s behavior personally, mainly if it is directed at us.
However, it is essential to remember that this isn’t done out of spite or malice.
Instead, it is likely due to various underlying causes, such as frustration and confusion.
If possible, try to remain calm and understanding when responding to their behavior after all, it may not be intentional.
In addition, ensure that you keep your emotions in check and avoid becoming angry or raising your voice in response, as this can be both unhelpful and unsettling.
3. Avoid Conflict and Set Boundaries.
It is essential not to try to change your elderly family member’s behavior all at once but rather take small steps in the right direction.
For example, if you find that they are becoming overly demanding or aggressive, politely explain what is and isn’t acceptable behavior and then stick to it.
Doing so will show them that you respect their needs while helping them feel safe and secure.
At the same time, ensure that these boundaries don’t come across as too restrictive.
Instead, focus on providing clear guidance without turning it into an argument.
4. Remain Patient and Flexible.
When dealing with challenging behaviors in an elderly family member, it is vital to remain patient and flexible.
Remember that they may not always be able to express themselves clearly or understand what you are saying, so they may take longer than usual to grasp new concepts.
Furthermore, try to tailor your approach according to the individual’s needs and abilities.
For example, if they have difficulty communicating verbally, you might consider using visuals such as pictures or diagrams instead.
5. Consider Caregivers As A Last Resort.
If the difficulties persist despite all your efforts, it may be time to consider bringing in hospice.
Hospice caregivers can provide specialized care and support for your elderly family member and help them manage their challenging behaviors.
Caregivers will also be able to offer you advice on how best to deal with the situation so that you can ensure everyone’s safety and well being.
These professionals can also help increase the comfort and quality of life for your elderly family member.
Commonly Asked Questions:
How can I recognize difficult behaviors in elderly family members?
Look for signs of agitation, confusion, or aggression.
Other warning signs include sudden changes in behavior, such as increased isolation or withdrawal from activities they once enjoyed.
If you notice any of these indications, it may signify that your family member needs additional support.
What can I do when my elderly family members become belligerent?
When confronted with belligerence from an elderly family member, it’s important to remain calm and avoid responding in kind with raised voices or shouting.
Instead, try to talk things through rationally and attempt to get to the issue’s root.
If the elderly individual is still unable to be reasoned with, it might be best to take a break from the situation and return when cooler heads prevail.
What strategies can I use if my elderly family members become aggressive?
Suppose your elderly family member becomes physically or verbally aggressive.
In that case, you must remove yourself from any potential harm as quickly and safely as possible while also attempting to de escalate the situation.
If appropriate, provide distractions such as music or activities that may help redirect their behavior or attention away from aggression.
It’s important not to allow them to become agitated, so if the aggression persists, it’s best to call for assistance from a medical or mental health professional.
Are there resources available to help me with difficult elderly family members?
Several resources are available to those dealing with difficult elderly family members.
It’s important to reach out for support and guidance to ensure everyone’s safety and well being.
Consider seeking advice from counseling services, social workers, elder care professionals, or other local community groups who specialize in helping families cope with similar situations.
You can also research online support networks or forums that provide helpful tips and strategies for handling challenging behavior in senior citizens.
What you should remember?
Dealing with challenging behaviors in elderly family members can be distressing and difficult.
However, there are several strategies that you can use to help manage the situation in the most humane way possible.
These include identifying the underlying causes of the behavior, avoiding taking it personally, setting boundaries, and remaining patient and flexible.
Finally, consider bringing in professional carers as a last resort if all else fails.
By following these five steps, you will be better equipped to handle difficult behaviors in an elderly family member and ensure their safety and well being.
Emma Skilton is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her empowering personality and positive attitude.
She went through a couple of hardships in her life. One of them was breaking her back when she was 21. She lost her confidence and physical abilities, but after months of recovery and doing aikido, she started getting her physical strength back.
She developed a Chronic Fatigue later and needed to take a full year off to recover. She started using nutrition and Accupuncture and that helped her get her strength back. Later she discovered latin dance and this led her to become a samba dance performer and teacher, which actually changed her life. But through all of it, it was her positive attitude and faith in self development that helped her.
Her approach now is a mix of all the things that helped her. Here is what she said.
Meet Life Coach Emma Skilton:
Name: Emma Skilton
Pillar: The Mental, The Physical
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to instill better habits and nutrition to live a healthier and happier life.
How they can help: Through a variety of techniques and tools, starting with the lifestyle analysis and the power type quiz to determine the client’s starting point.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
These have been times of change, Since 2020 and the first quarantine I had to change the way I worked.
In the past I was used to face to face events and coaching with groups of people.
During this time I decided to take everything online and since then have continued to coach and run workshops remotely.
My family had to deal with health issues and work changes too.
Much of my time for this period has been supporting my family through challenging experiences.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
Since the pandemic I have seen many more clients with anxiety and loss of faith in their ability to succeed.
I see that many people are also wanting to spend time and money on self care in a way they may not have considered important in the past.
For my own experience, I found myself questioning how I spend my time and if the tasks I was performing each day really bought me joy.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
My biggest lesson in this pandemic is that nothing is certain and we have to make the most of every opportunity.
Also to really listen to your heart and be sure you are spending your time in activities that bring you joy.
I lost my best friend during the pandemic and the the grief was very overwhelming.
I have leaned to be kinder and more compassionate to myself as a result.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
I started coaching many years ago as a fitness and dance teacher.
I then coached a large team of independent consultants as part of a direct selling company.
During this period I developed my love of nutrition and empowerment coaching for women.
It was during the pandemic that I really focused on upgrading my qualifications to a high level coaching certification.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
This is hard to answer as I have had a number of obstacles in my life that have either physically stopped me or mentally challenged me.
I broke my back when I was 21 and I really lost my confidence in my physical abilities after the accident.
I decided to study aikido to grow my strength and learn that I can fall safely and be strong using energy.
Later I became ill with Chronic Fatigue after traveling and took a year to recover.
I used nutrition and Accupuncture to build my strength back.
I then started my discovery of latin dance and this led me to become a samba dance performer and teacher, which actually changed my life.
The thread that runs through all of this was my positive attitude and openness to self development.
Now I can use my experiences to help me coach my clients.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
My clients like to work with me as I help them believe that anything is possible and when they are feeling challenged I encourage them to keep going and know that they can accomplish their dreams and overcome obstacles.
Because I take a holistic view to my clients I can support them nutritionally, physically and mentally.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
I use a combination of nutritional therapy and empowerment coaching.
I have an understanding of what the body needs physically and mentally to be in a balanced space.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
The client leads the session and based on their needs at the time I will help them understand the behaviour and how to learn new strategies to support them to succeed in ways they previously thought they were not capable of.
This is carried out in a very supportive and safe space so the Clients feels able to explore areas they may normally avoid for fear of shame or ridicule.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
I have a large tool kit that I can call on to help my clients.
Two are very useful at the first session:
The lifestyle analysis and the power type quiz.
These help me have an overview of my clients start point.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
Be kind to each other and be kind to yourself, we are all a work in progress.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
The greatest lesson I have learned in life is that how ever bad you feel your life is, however low you feel, there is always a way out. Never underestimate the power of the mind and what can be achieved.
Your final thoughts?
I love coaching women as I really want to empower them to be free from constraints that they have grown up with that may be limiting their belief in what they are capable of.
There is so much talent and potential out there waiting to find the right space to flourish.

I am doing well thank you.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
It has affected my clients stress wise.
Some had to take a job back on the side of their coaching business, others saw their relationships falling apart.
It affected my health, as I have had the coronavirus twice and my appendix burst out. Creating a lot of uncertainty.
Professionally, it’s been quite incredible.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
You will never grow faster than when you start building your own business.
It requires so much resilience, it will change you forever.
Prioritizing your wellbeing is mandatory.

Surround yourself with the right people.
People you can learn from, grow with, and most importantly, people who love to have a good laugh (life is too serious).
Done is better than perfect.
Don’t overthink, just take action and take every opportunity as they come.
Celebrate failures.
They will teach you more than your success.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
I am Geraldine, a French woman in London.
I am a Leadership and Performance coach, a Digital Marketer, a Breathwork Facilitator and a Reiki Master.
I fell into personal development when I was only a little girl, and I have been living in the realm of Magic ever since.
I firmly believe the limits we create in our life are created by us.
When I had my daughter 8 years ago, I decided to qualify as a coach with the ICF, whilst keeping working in agencies.
After a successful corporate career in the digital industry, I decided to set up my coaching consultancy and spent the past three years helping entrepreneurs and high profile individuals, scale their business and career, one chakra at a time.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
When I was 19, I had severe depression following being assaulted.
Overcoming depression and building resilience made me the woman I am today.
We are the main actors of our own movie, this is for us to decide what we want the next chapter to be about!

I help my clients go deep, and transform from the inside out.
Having spent 20 years climbing the ladder in the corporate world, I know how it feels to not have a voice in the workplace.
I use a combination of tools like Human Design or Breathwork, to help them find their genius, drop the limiting beliefs keeping them stuck, so they can become the expert they are meant to be.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
A real confidence boost.
Clarity on their next steps, career or business wise.
Promotion.
46% increase in salary.
A personal brand they love and are proud to share.
An increase in engagement with their audiences.
TV deals, book deals…
Sold out launches.
Multi 6 figures generated.

Absolutely.
I use hypnosis, human design, reiki and breathwork.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
There Are No Get Rich Quick Schemes.
It all starts with a desire.
Tune in. Plant the seed. Water it every day.
Even when you can’t see anything happening.
And then, if you are patient, resilient, if you keep believing, you will get to see a flower blossoming…
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
I have learnt that change is inevitable.
Don’t be afraid to pivot, and embrace change.

Lisa Brewer is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her vast expertise and dedication.
She started her coaching career after reading the book “The Willpower Instinct”. She was inspired by the book and with permission she used it to create her own program. It turned out to be super successful.
She always had a passion for teaching and training, she just didn’t know coaching as a career option.
Her coaching approach combines many different techniques, tools, and disciplines that aim to improve self compassion, awareness, emotional regulation, mindset and habits that in return improve the quality of life, the relationships we have, and our career. Here is what she said.
Meet Life Coach Lisa Brewer:
Name: Lisa Brewer
Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Heart
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to improve the quality of their life, relationships and career.
How they can help: By using and combining various tools and techniques like self awareness, perception change, emotional awareness and regulation, visioning, mindfulness, time management, communication, just to name a few.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
We’ve been very fortunate.
Being introverts really helped!
Other than shopping less frequently, things didn’t change as much for us.
The hard part was my parents both contracted cancers, and I couldn’t be with them for fear of passing something to them.
Also, my son needed to finish his degree remotely, which is isolating since we had moved to a new state while he was in school.
Fortunately, my parents are in remission. Family celebrations are cherished.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
The pandemic has increased stress levels overall for everyone.
There’s increasing complexity: hybrid work, resignations, increased workload, financial strain, changes to routines, more illness, fear of illness, less social connection.
People are assessing what really matters to them, which is great in the long run, but increases decision making which can be tiring and overwhelming.
The biggest impact for me has been missing my parents and sisters, who live across the country.
I also have a lot of clients who are managing stress, overwhelm, and self care so I’ve broadened that skillset dramatically.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
I never know what someone else is going through.
The summer of 2020 we moved.
One new friend was “overly” cautious about the virus.
A few weeks into our friendship I asked about it.
Four of her family members had died in the first four months of the pandemic.
Now I assume there’s a reason for people’s actions and everyone is doing the best they can.
This helps me be more curious and empathetic, which has opened more relationships and doors that I ever could have imagined.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
I’ve always enjoyed training and teaching others but was unaware of coaching as a career option.
In 2017 I read “The Willpower Instinct” by Kelly McGonigal, PhD and got inspired.
With her permission I used her book as the foundation for a goals program I ran with colleagues, friends, and strangers.
It was so successful in helping people understand themselves and reach their goals.
Becoming a Certified Professional Co Active Coach provided the qualifications to be reputable to corporations.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
Can I only choose one?
I learned a few years ago that I fall into the 20% of people who are highly sensitive which explains so much.
I’ve had to limit my diet since I was 19 and overcome social anxiety, an emotionally abusive boyfriend, chronic pain, depression, a fixed mindset, and ill family members.
I reinvented myself to stay home with my kids at 35 and reentered the workforce 15 years later.
Emotionally, this was very hard to take since I was raised to be a professional and not dependent on anyone.
I’ve made seven interstate moves, four while my kids were under 9 years old.
I’m immensely human!
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
I’m more focused on excellence than innovation.
I came across a study showing the 14 qualities demonstrated by outstanding therapists.
I am not a therapist and will recommend someone sees a therapist if the topic they bring indicates that.
I do ground my practice in evidenced based practices, and this article helped reinforce and bring intention to specific skills.
Build strong interpersonal skills, build trust and understanding quickly with clients, develop and explain a clear plan for reaching client outcomes, be authentic, flexible, and optimistic, discuss difficult topics instead of avoiding them, continuously expand my skills, adapt to individual clients backgrounds and situations, do the work myself so I can self manage and be fully focused on the client, and work with as many clients as possible so I can be as effective as possible with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
An outcome of this that I see with clients is my intuition guides the words and tools I use.
I often coach people on the similar topics, but how I approach it could be very different from one client to another.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
I pull from a wide, continuously expanding range of subjects when coaching…
Psychology, neuroscience, business, leadership, mindfulness, self compassion, habit formation, project management, alliance building, emotional intelligence, positive psychology, communication skills, etc.
I use this to help clients develop their own answers.
Sometimes, just a bit of information unleashes their creativity and insights.
So, I recommend books, TED talks, and articles for clients when I sense additional information would be helpful.
It also means that I coach on a wide range of topics.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
They often develop better work and life balance and time management, improved communication, conflict and leadership skills.
They have improved self care habits, stronger relationships, and increased comfort in self promotion to advance their career.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
I’m an extremely practical person.
Because of this, the only tools I use with everyone are administrative: a scheduling calendar, payment links, and initial questionnaires.
Everything else is customized to the specific outcomes the client is striving to create.
With many clients I use some combination self awareness, perception change, emotional awareness and regulation, visioning, mindfulness, time management, communication, self compassion, and habit formation tools to help them achieve their goals.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
Embrace curiosity, compassion, and ease.
It’s amazing what can be created from here and the joy that accompanies it!
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
That it’s ok to be vulnerable and pursue what I really enjoy.
I was competing in a Toastmasters speech competition and amazed by the reaction of the audience.
They were energized and wanting more.
I experienced a similar effect at a networking event a few months later.
Both times I was completely present in the moment, felt unconditional self love and confidence, and was fully focused on the people and topic.
This combination is always present when I’m at my best, whether I’m with others or alone.
It’s a flow state that’s highly rewarding.
As soon as I worry about what other people think or what is expected of me, the spell is broken.
Flow is magnetic and brings out the best in others.
When we’re willing to be open, vulnerable, and focus on what matters to us, we give unspoken permission for others to love and value themselves.
Then magic happens.
Your final thoughts?
I often have clients who think they are a tough case or are stifled by circumstances.
Those are limiting beliefs.
We all have the capacity to change and become the person we want to be, even if we can’t change our circumstances.
Defining who that is and why that matters and being willing to experiment to see what helps you is what coaching is all about.

We are doing great, doing phenomenal things.

The coronavirus pandemic didn’t really affect my clients because God protected them and also because they all learnt the importance of life.
For this reason, they saw the reason to thank God for life.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
Family and friends would help you go a long way by helping you in your times of challenges.
I also learnt that if you want to walk far, walk alone but if you want to walk further and faster, walk with your friends.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
I am a 15 year old motivational speaker and inspirational writer.
I started my career in the year 2019 when I saw the need to spread life and light.
I was depressed and then after few days, I came out through the help of God and through the speech of Denzel Washington.
This stirred up my interest and made me begin to speak to people.
I share the word in order to change lives and have a positive impact.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
My biggest obstacle was depression.
I was depressed because I just came out of a relationship and the girl I was then dating was cheating on me with a guy older than I am.
I was sad for some few days and then I had to brace up and started pushing my goals.
I was willing to give myself a thousand second chances.
I was motivated by hitting rock bottom and I began to rescue myself.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
Well for me, most of my clients are always online so we schedule meetings and talk about their challenges.
I also try to read their emotions and actions when we have meetings.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
My teaching is unique because I try to understand my clients, place myself in their shoes, and then drastically influence their decisions and actions.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
My clients tend to be happy always and they would begin to see the need to live.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
I use most leadership traits taught about by John C Maxwell.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
Poverty is not a disease. It is just that stereotype that it as a disease.
We have to work hard, pray earnestly, and give in our best to what ever work.
Indolence is not needed.
Working really hard is what successful people do.
Your greatest weakness might be giving but more trial is the way to success.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
God is greatest.
Your final thoughts?
“Success without a successor is a failure”.
