Your Perfect Healing Method According To Your Zodiac Sign…

0

Healing is deeper than physical. It happens on a spiritual level and most often the spiritual is where you really fix the root of a problem.

There are many different ways of healing and each zodiac sign has a specific healing method assigned to itself. If you wonder what the zodiac signs have to do with healing methods you have to realize what the zodiac signs are.

There are 12 behaviors of energy your soul can take and through these behaviors your spirit is developed. These archetypes of energy are the zodiac signs.

For each behavior there is almost a perfect method to untangle the knots that create energy blockages.

Healing is a form of allowing energy to flow back to where it used to. Knowing the archetype of your energy you can choose the best method to have an impact on you.

Your perfect healing method, according to the zodiac:

Aries (March 21 – April 20): Meditation

Your fiery energy is sometimes really hard to control. Especially when you need to sort things out and slow down. You are known to be the one paving the way. Give yourself permission to dedicate a few minutes for meditation in a day. Calm down. Listen to the wisdom behind your fire. Listen to your soul.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21): Forest bathing

You are the sign everybody can lean on to. Your practicality, patience and stability are strong enough for others to feel safe. But sometimes you can be a bit too set in your ways and you have trouble adjusting to change. Forest bathing can make your next trip into nature a more mindful experience, one that reminds you of a simple truth: Mother Earth is never stagnant, and you shouldn’t be either.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21): Essential oils

You’re of two minds on just about everything, which makes it difficult for you to make a decision and stick with it. Thankfully, the hundreds upon hundreds of natural scents out there can speak to whatever mood you happen to be in on any given day. Feeling stressed out? Give some sweet orange a try. Can’t seem to calm your racing mind? Vetiver to the rescue.

Cancer (June 22 – July 22): Yoga

Intuitive and sensitive, you’re the one your friends turn to during hard times. Though you’re incredibly nurturing and maternal, sometimes you have trouble taking care of yourself as much as you take care of others. Yoga to the rescue. Get to the mat, look within, and connect with your body on a deeper, more intuitive level.

Leo (July 23 – August 21): Flower essences

Animated doesn’t even begin to the describe you, and you love storytelling and sharing your effusive energy with others. Though they may land a little high on the “woo-woo” scale, flower essences don’t scare you away since you’re willing to give just about anything a try once. So cook up some passionflower essence the next time your mental chatter is spinning out of control.

Virgo (August 22 – September 23): Acupuncture

The perfectionist of the zodiac, your attention to detail can leave you stressed, anxious, and overworked. Acupuncture is an incredibly powerful alternative medicine practice that has been shown to lower cortisol levels in the body and encourage a zen-like state of tranquility.

Libra (September 24 – October 23): Ayurveda

You’re always trying to even out the scales and find harmony in everything you do, whether it’s by solving a two-sided disagreement or finding a perfect work-life balance. Ayurveda can help you bring that sense of equity within since it’s an ancient practice founded on the idea that the human body is composed of three energy centers that must be brought into balance for optimal health.

Scorpio (October 24 – November 22): Shaman consult

You’re always searching for deeper meaning, and you’re not concerned with surface explanations. Life’s unknowns fascinate you, and for this reason you tend to be highly spiritual. Shamanism speaks to this unyielding curiosity. Shamans call on herbs, energy clearing techniques, and indigenous ceremonies to communicate with the spirit realm and help the living tap into the deeper depths of their personality.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 22): Sound healing

You are the ultimate free spirit and you’re always chasing wild, boundless adventure. Never one to shy away from new experiences, you won’t be happy until you explore every corner of the world (or at least, your immediate surroundings). Like therapy with music, sound healing is a great way to travel to new places without even leaving a room. And it’ll suit your adventure crave.

Capricorn (December 23 – January 20): Reiki

Goal-oriented with a brain for business, you’re not afraid of hard work and you have big aspirations for the future. However, your drive can make you a bit overly practical, and you could use some more faith in the unknown. Reiki practitioners can influence your energy without even laying a finger on your body, and the ancient technique is sure to leave you a holistic convert.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 19): Crystals

The mad scientist of the zodiac, you’re charming, intelligent, and a little quirky. Nothing is too out there for you and you see the world through a more idealistic lens. The rainbow of crystals out there speaks to your bright, bold personality, and the healing stones can help you manifest that dream life you have stored away in your mind.

Pisces (February 20 – March 20): Floating therapy

A dreamer who often has your head in the clouds, your perfect day is one spent out exploring nature or making art. Float therapy is a form of sensory deprivation that gives you a chance to be alone with your thoughts while submerged in 12 inches of water, and 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt. One hour in a tank is thought to have the same impact on the brain as a full day of sleep, giving you plenty of time to explore those big, mystical dreams.

It is said that we rarely live in reality, but in realms of our own creation. The best escape of the existential angst that can caught up with you is reading a book; there’s nothing like losing yourself in a mystical fictional world.

One big problem about reading a good book is finding a place to do so.

Sure, reading on your daily commute is how most people get their book time in, but it’s less than ideal. We need a sacred place so we can escape into these mystical worlds. And there is a place that’s probably one of the best places for book lovers.

This Ancient Tibetan Test Reveals The Deepest Layers Of Your Psyche

There are 3 famously known layers of our psyche, the conscious, the subconscious and the unconscious part.

The conscious part is everything that you are aware of at a certain moment. It’s basically like the captain’s room from where the captain steers the ship, unaware of everything below that moves the mechanism.

The subconscious part is the mediator between the conscious and unconscious part of your psyche.

The unconscious part is a whole new world for you. No matter how much you know yourself, the unconscious remains a mystery. If it’s known it becomes conscious. It’s everything below the surface. It holds the secrets of everything that constructs your character.

However, there are ways to catch a glimpse of your unconscious layers. This ancient Tibetan test will show you an important part of yourself you didn’t know. It will put many important things into perspective:

Scientists Just Discovered Something REALLY Weird In Deep Waters!

There is a saying which claims that we know more about the surface of the moon than we know about the depths of our oceans.

A team of scientists backed by the U.S. government has mounted a unique crowd-sourced exploration of the largely unknown deep sea off the coast of Puerto Rico.

Exploring at the depths of 20,000 feet (one of the deepest dives ever made in that region) they discovered 100 species of fish, 50 species of deepwater corals and hundreds of other invertebrates, many of which had never been seen in their natural habitat.

They’re still analyzing the data they collected, but have already identified two new species: a jellyfish-like animal called a ‘ctenophore’ and a new type of fish.

A ctenophore basically looks like an underwater alien. Here are some incredible images:

The scientists sent their remotely operated vehicle (ROV) on some of the deepest dives ever conducted in the region. The video they captured was streamed live. Researchers around the world were able to view it in real time and contribute to the expedition by either calling the ship or logging into an internet chatroom.

Here is a part of that breathtaking video:

Are Mood Disorders the Price We Pay for High Intelligence and Creativity? Scientists Say “Yes”…

0

History is peppered with famous artists, actors and musicians who were highly intelligence and creative, and experienced significant mood swings. Some are quite notorious for their outbursts; painter Vincent Van Gogh and the composer Beethoven are two examples. Writers like Virginia Woolf and Silvia Plath also seemed to suffer from their exceptional level of creativity, where episodes of unstable behavior were common.

Sadly, if these great artists were alive today, they would most likely be coerced into taking pharmaceutical drugs to “temper” their moods. Unfortunately, this scenario doesn’t require any great stretch of the imagination, considering almost seventy-nine million Americans take some form of psychiatric drug — including over a million children under the age of five. But at what cost?

A Modern Take on the Classic “Temperamental Artist”

Throughout history, many great thinkers and artists have been known to possess “eccentric” personalities, with behavior that could be downright bizarre. But the society at the time recognized the creative genius within and gave such individuals a relative wide-berth of freedom to express their gift.

Today, these same people would be classified as bipolar — a chronic mental illness of extreme changes in mood, alternating between euphoric mania and the depths of depression. The episodes can occur a couple of times a week or just a few times a year.

There are three primary types, which include:

Bipolar I: One or more manic cycles either before or after a depressive episode.

Bipolar II: One or more major depressive episodes lasting at least two weeks, with a mild manic cycle lasting at least four days.

Cyclothymic disorder: Cycles of mild mania and depressive episodes that last for two years or longer. The mood swings are generally less severe in this particular form of the disorder.

Even though there are different categories of the disorder, the symptoms tend to be similar in most people. The following list from Healthline details common traits:

Depression

  • persistent feelings of extreme grief or despair (depression) for a long period of time
  • loss of interest in activities that were once enjoyable
  • trouble concentrating, making decisions, and remembering things
  • anxiety or irritability
  • eating too much or too little
  • sleeping too much or too little
  • thinking or talking about death or suicide
  • suicide attempt

Mania

  • overly happy or outgoing mood for a long period of time
  • severe irritability
  • talking quickly, rapidly transitioning different ideas during a conversation, or having racing thoughts
  • inability to focus
  • starting numerous new activities or projects
  • feeling very fidgety
  • sleeping too little or not at all
  • acting impulsively and partaking in dangerous behaviors

Hypomania

Hypomania symptoms are the same as mania symptoms, but they differ in two ways:

  • With hypomania, mood swings usually aren’t severe enough to interfere significantly with a person’s ability to carry out daily activities.
  • No psychotic symptoms occur during a hypomanic episode. During a manic episode, psychotic symptoms may include delusions, hallucinations, and paranoia.

What these clinical classifications fail to address, however, is that the disorder is also linked with high levels of creativity and intelligence.

The Flip Side of the Bipolar Coin

When an individual is experiencing a manic or hypomania episode, they often feel inspired and ambitious, which in turn, fosters a willingness to engage in a new creative endeavor. In fact, a large number of remarkably creative people are also bipolar. And now the results of several scientific studies may help explain why this may be the case.

In one study, the team examined the IQ of nearly 2,000 8-year-old children and compared the data with those same children who developed manic traits by the age of 22 or 23. What they discovered is that high childhood IQ was positively associated with bipolar symptoms later in life.

“There is something about the genetics underlying the disorder that are advantageous. One possibility is that serious disorders of mood – such as bipolar disorder – are the price that human beings have had to pay for more adaptive traits such as intelligence, creativity and verbal proficiency,” said lead researcher Daniel Smith of the University of Glasgow.

But he’s quick to add that having a high IQ is not a clear-cut risk factor for developing the disorder. Instead, other variables — such as environmental influences like exposure to maternal influenza in the womb or childhood sexual abuse — may trigger the illness if there is a genetic tendency for it.

Another study also found a link between genetics, bipolar disorder and creativity. The researchers reviewed the DNA of over 86,000 people in the search for specific genes that increased the risk of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. They also documented if the individuals were involved in creative fields — like music, dancing, acting and writing. After analyzing the data, the team found that those who are creative are up to 25 percent more likely to carry genes associated with bipolar and schizophrenia, compared to their noncreative counterparts.

“Our findings suggest that creative people may have a genetic predisposition toward thinking differently, which, when combined with other harmful biological or environmental factors, could lead to mental illness,” Robert A. Power of the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience at King’s College London

For those who are diagnosed with the disorder, we need to seriously question how many of these highly intelligent and creative individuals are sacrificed on the alter of “normalcy” by way of the pharmaceutical industry — and to what end.

One Of The MOST Romantic Songs You’ll Ever Hear Was Created Using Science!

It’s not about detaching from everyone achieving spiritual perfection. It’s not about looking at everything as less important because it has a scientific explanation.

There is something pure in loving someone romantically and the world seems to have forgotten about that.

But I guess it’s not about science, or spirituality, or romance, it’s about what those things mean for us. What we make out of them! Who would have thought that scientific topics can produce one of the MOST romantic songs that you’ll ever hear… (especially if you understand the topics)

There are always 2 main elements in life. Darkness and Light; Space and Matter; The spark and the flame work together so fire can exist. Male and Female bond together so life can exist!

And when we love someone distance, time, space, none of that matters. Love is beyond space and time! The DNA is created by 2 strains. One is from your mother and the other is from your father. Together they create you! Their love created your code!

There is a nuclear explosion when you rip atoms apart. It feels like a nuclear attack inside your heart when you break up with someone you love!

Science is not something contradictory to spirituality. It’s a source for it. It’s the spark to the flame.

And spirituality too. Some spiritual concepts can show us exactly where to look for scientific answers.

They complete each other.

They are STRONGER together than they are apart.

It’s easy to look at life mentally. ‘This happens because of this. Love is just chemistry.”

But that’s only one side of reality. The other side is your inner world.

That’s why we have art. That’s why we write books. That’s why we make music. Because something mathematical sometimes means the world to us. Sometimes a simple chemical reaction can give us reason for life. And those things matter, even though they are immaterial.

Our inner world is a whole new Universe but instead of gravity and magnetism, things attract because of love.

The existence of music is a proof that the human race is greater than it knows…

Stanley Kubrick’s Opinion On ‘Is Life Worth Living’ Is The Antidote for Your Existential Dread!

0

When Stanley was asked in an interview ‘is life worth living?’ this is what he answered:

stanley-qubrick-is-life-worth-living

“Yes, for those of us who manage to somehow cope with our own mortality. The very meaninglessness of life forces man to create his own meaning.

Children, of course, begin life with an untarnished sense of wonder, a capacity to experience total joy at something as simple as the greenness of a leaf; but as they grow older, the awareness of death and decay begins to impinge on their consciousness and subtly erode their ‘joie de vivre’ their idealism, and their assumption of immortality.

As a child matures, he sees death and pain everywhere about him, and begins to lose faith in the ultimate goodness of man. But if he’s reasonably strong, and lucky, he can emerge from this twilight of the soul into a rebirth of life’s élan.

Both because of and spite of his awareness of the meaninglessness of life, he can forge a fresh sense of purpose and affirmation. He may not recapture the same pure sense of wonder he was born with, but he can shape something far more enduring and sustaining.

The most terrifying fact about The Universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent; but if we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death, however mutable man may be able to make them, our existence as species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment.

However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.”

Some Of The Most ‘Spiritual’ People I Know Have The BIGGEST Egos In The World! THIS Is Why…

You can be the most ‘spiritual’ person in the world and have the biggest life sucking EGO anyone ever had. You can be the richest, most materialistic person in the world and be the reason why so many people wake up smiling.

It’s not about who you are or what you do, EGO is a destructive program for self validation that is present in most of us. The real problem is not the EGO per se, but the source where it seeks self validation from.

Looking at others’ flaws gives us powerful EGO boost. But we will always need others to have flaws in order for us to feel validated. Real confidence and self validation doesn’t come from devaluing the outside, but finding the value inside.

The EGO traps are usually outlooks that make you superior over others, no matter how you evaluate superiority. The problem with striving to be superior over others is that you are always their slave thinking they are yours. You never listen or do what YOU really want to do in your life.

It’s all about the scoreboard. You are always trying to fill a black hole inside yourself, to get that fix of self validation. And in reality you are only chasing shadows. You run away from your own truth and what you really want out of life. You are in a trap.

And you are not making the world for you, or everyone around you a better place, no matter how much you think that you are. You are doing the right thing for the wrong reasons which will produce a counter effect in the long run.

Here are some of the most common EGO traps in the world today:

ego-traps

If you think it is more ‘spiritual’ to ride a bike to work or use public transportation, but then find yourself judging anyone who drives a car, you are in an EGO trap.

If you think it is more ‘spiritual’ to stop watching television because it rots your brain, but then you find yourself judging those who still watch TV, you are in an EGO trap.

If you think it is more ‘spiritual’ to avoid reading gossip, tabloid or news magazines, but then find yourself judging those who do read those things, you are in an EGO trap.

If you think it is more ‘spiritual’ to listen to classical music or soothing nature sounds, but then find yourself judging those who listen to mainstream or pop music, you are in an EGO trap.

If you think it is more ‘spiritual’ to do yoga, become a vegan, buy organic, practice reiki, meditate, wear hippie clothing, read enlightened spiritual books, but then you judge anyone doesn’t do these things, you are in an EGO trap.

Always be aware of the feeling of superiority. That’s your BIGGEST clue you are in an EGO trap.

The weakness driven EGO wants to sneak in the ‘back door’ unnoticed by you. It will take a noble idea, like becoming a vegan, and then twist it to serve its own ends by making you feel superior to others. You’ll start to look down on those who are not following your ‘righteous’ spiritual path.

Superiority and judgment.

Those are your clues.
