Meet Life Coach Debi Lynn:

find-life-coach-debi-lynn

Name: Debi Lynn

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Anyone (especially entrepreneurs and small business owners) who want to transform their pain and grief into strength and become the leader they were born to be.

How they can help: By using her own experience with grief as well as various tools and techniques like custom grief mapping tools, wellness audits, leadership resilience assessments, and team recalibration frameworks, just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

We’re doing well now, thank you.

Like many families, we went through a period of intense reflection, loss, and recalibration.

The pandemic challenged our resilience, but it also deepened our appreciation for connection, purpose, and emotional well being.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

Absolutely.

My clients (mostly entrepreneurs and small business owners) were overwhelmed.

The emotional toll of burnout, uncertainty, and loss was staggering.

I had to evolve quickly, creating new virtual programs and resources that met them in their chaos and guided them toward clarity, confidence, and profit recovery.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

That emotional wellness is not a luxury, it’s a necessity.

And leadership begins with empathy.

When we invest in people’s emotional resilience, everything else improves: productivity, profits, loyalty, and even innovation.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I’m a Certified Grief Educator, speaker, and emotional wellness strategist.

My journey began with personal loss, the kind that stops you in your tracks.

After losing my child, I knew I could either be consumed by the pain or channel it into purpose.

I chose purpose.

I began helping others navigate their own pain through grief support, and that eventually evolved into a grief wellness business that supports individuals and companies alike.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

The death of my child.

That loss shattered me and rebuilt me all at once.

It’s the reason I understand grief on a cellular level, and why I’m so passionate about transforming pain into power for others.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I bridge emotional healing with leadership training and profitability.

I’ve developed a unique framework that combines personal development with organizational strategies to boost retention, reduce burnout, and elevate workplace resilience.

It’s not just about healing, it’s about transformation that impacts lives and bottom lines.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I don’t just focus on mindset, I focus on grief informed leadership and practical tools that create measurable impact.

My clients leave with not just clarity and confidence, but with strategic action plans that drive profit, retention, and emotional health.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

They report a 20 to 25% increase in productivity and profits within a year.

More importantly, they feel reconnected to their purpose, their team, and their peace of mind.

I help them reduce absenteeism, build resilient leadership, and turn life’s biggest disruptions into their greatest breakthroughs.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Yes.

I use custom grief mapping tools, wellness audits, leadership resilience assessments, and team recalibration frameworks to measure both emotional wellness and profitability outcomes.

Everything is rooted in clarity and action.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

You don’t have to hide your pain to be successful.

The world needs leaders who are brave enough to be human.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

Pain is a teacher.

If we listen to it, rather than run from it, it will guide us toward our deepest growth and greatest calling.

Your final thoughts?

Grief isn’t just something we survive, it’s something we can transform into strength.

My mission is to help people (and companies) recognize that wellness is not separate from success.

It’s the foundation of it.

One to One Problem Solving: How it Can Transform the Business Landscape

Picture this…

You’re navigating a vast, complex maze, searching for a way out.

Now, imagine each employee and customer is doing the same, each with their unique path.

Yet, companies often throw a one size fits all solution over the maze, hoping it magically works for everyone.

Spoiler alert: it doesn’t.

In the quest for innovation and progress, it’s time we shift gears to one to one problem solving, a revolutionary approach that can transform the business landscape.

What Is One to One Problem Solving?

one-to-one-problem-solving

Let’s dive into the heart of the matter.

Imagine Tim, an autistic employee who thrives in a darker workspace.

Instead of launching a costly overhaul of the entire lighting system to make it “autism friendly,” why not simply tailor Tim’s workspace to his preference?

This approach isn’t just about saving money, it’s about respecting individuality and creating a work environment where every voice is heard and valued.

By making small adjustments, companies can meet specific needs without creating unnecessary disruptions for everyone else.

This principle of one to one problem solving applies across the entire business model, whether you’re dealing with employees or customers.

It’s about customizing solutions for the individual, not a one size fits all approach.

How One to One Problem Solving Transforms Customer Relationships?

Now, consider your customers.

Some crave a lively chat, others dread it.

Why not offer them a simple choice: “press one for a chatty line, two for a quiet one?”

By acknowledging and catering to their diverse preferences, you’re not just selling a product, you’re building relationships based on genuine understanding.

This isn’t just about ticking boxes on a checklist, it’s about embracing an authentic, holistic approach that values the uniqueness of each individual.

When customers feel that their preferences are respected, their loyalty and trust in your brand deepen.

The Benefits of One to One Problem Solving

1. Engagement and Appreciation

Why is this so crucial?

First, it sparks a wildfire of engagement and appreciation.

Employees and customers feel seen, heard, and valued.

This isn’t hyperbole, it’s a transformative shift.

When people feel understood, they’re more invested in your organization, more committed to your goals, and more likely to contribute to a thriving, innovative culture.

This leads to higher productivity and improved morale.

2. Masterstroke of Efficiency

Second, one to one problem solving is a masterstroke of efficiency.

By addressing specific needs directly, companies can allocate resources more effectively.

This avoids the scattergun approach of trying to please everyone, and ultimately pleasing no one.

When resources are focused on individual needs, the results are more impactful and meaningful.

You’re not wasting time or energy on initiatives that don’t serve anyone.

3. Sustainability and Long Term Growth

Let’s talk about sustainability.

One to one problem solving aligns beautifully with a purpose-driven, sustainable business model.

It cuts down on unnecessary resource expenditure and fosters a culture that prioritizes meaningful, impactful interactions over superficial fixes.

This approach reduces waste, fosters loyalty, and builds long term relationships with employees and customers alike.

In turn, your business becomes not just more sustainable, but more resilient in the face of challenges.

Why Resistance to Change Holds Us Back

So, what’s stopping us?

Resistance to change is a natural hurdle.

Many organizations cling to the safety of the status quo, fearing the unknown.

But here’s the reality: the maze isn’t going anywhere.

The longer we delay, the more dissatisfied our employees and customers become.

It’s time for bold, innovative steps that reflect our commitment to cultural transformation and sustainable success.

Change doesn’t have to be terrifying, in fact, it’s a chance to set yourself apart from the competition and lead the charge into the future.

One to One Problem Solving: A Strategy for the Future

In the grand scheme of things, one to one problem solving isn’t just a business strategy, it’s a call to embrace individuality, authenticity, and genuine connection.

It’s about creating a world where every employee and customer feels empowered to navigate their own path, knowing they have the support they need to thrive.

Embracing this mindset will set your organization on the path to long term success, ensuring that each person, whether employee or customer, feels seen, heard, and valued.

Ready to Transform Your Business?

Are you ready to transform your business?

The time for change is now.

Let’s break free from the confines of outdated norms and build a future where everyone truly matters.

It’s time to embrace one to one problem solving and elevate your business to new heights.

Lost in Illusion Part 2: White Deficits

Love, in its purest form, rarely follows logic.

It appears uninvited, turns our world upside down, and leaves us forever changed.

The poem you’re about to read is a raw, unfiltered confession of a heart caught between spiritual destiny and physical disappointment, a love so deep it transcends time, borders, and even lifetimes.

Prepare to step into the intimate world of a soul caught in the golden rain of longing and devotion, a letter not just to a lover, but to anyone who has ever loved without return.

Now, let the words speak for themselves, a journey of heartache, hope, and a love that refuses to fade…

lost-in-illusion-part-2

Lost in Illusion: White Deficits

Loving you was nothing I had in mind,
something so special I did not expect to find.

I made myself a fool and lost my pride,
with the hope to conquer your heart and to be your bride.

Even after more than two years I continue to fight,
to exchange your black clothes with white.

Deep within I feel the time has come to stop this toxic dedication,
to withdraw my heart from this ongoing frustration.

I tried all to win your desire,
to ignite in you a longing and passionate fire.

To awaken you from your hypnotic sleep,
that you can leave the herd, the sheep.

Our deep love is based on a strong spiritual connection,
a true heart to heart affection.

In the physical you are all I never wanted, superficial and led astray,
unable to find the proper way, just watching out for the next play.

Vice versa is the same,
you had no intention to invest anything in this game.

While I was everything you ever needed,
“see me”, is this is not what I have pleaded?

That you have a love agreement and calling,
but you ignore it and prefer the falling.

My love for you is so deep and I never had a doubt,
“he is the only one” shouting out loud.

While you used every argument convincing yourself I was not a fit,
you did not give any chance nor even tried a little bit.

I cannot breath and I need air,
I tried everything to make you aware.

This endless pain is so strong,
I am wondering about, not knowing anymore where I belong.

I feel my wounds cannot heal anymore while I am here,
but where should I go? In my heart you are always near.

I declared all our contracts and agreements for null and void,
through them into the golden fire, all destroyed.

The voice of my heart sings a different song,
within demanding: “Don’t do it, this is wrong.”

True spiritual love remains,
like indelible flames.

“Stephanie. This scenario is only taken place in the illusion.”
don’t forget in reality this man adores you, remember the energetic fusion.”

I have to stay strong to succeed in my love mission,
I try to get up every morning with ambition.

It’s difficult with my heart being broken,
and all these words, this time out-spoken.

You said all these words, I never wanted to hear because they made me cry,
you could not say fast enough “bye-bye”.

There is all this rage coming up about myself, but I have to suppress it,
it could severely harm you, it would be evil against you, I admit.

My heart that I placed into your hand, thrown into the bin,
where is it? I cannot find it, I must re-fragment it and put it back within.

Into my physical cage,
in which I feel this painful rage.

“Stephanie, you must be strong”,
have I not done this all life long?

That at a certain point enough is enough,
I need to cry out my pain now, it’s gotten too tough.

All you can do to solve our issues is to block me like a child,
not knowing intuitively that an open conversation would be right.

I thought with you I learned to love without condition,
I totally failed that was my cognition.

When it comes to love I am hopeless and lost,
at a very high cost.

I am looking back thinking about all that has gone wrong,
I should have approached it differently, all along.

Your essence gave me the strengths to rise up for my love mission once more,
it lovingly reached my hand, raising me up from the golden floor.

But without your physical strengths I slipped,
I fell back down and hurt my hip.

I ignore it and trying to put myself back together,
for the mission to exchange “death with life forever”.

To drop the ring in the fire,
there is not enough water in the fountain in the shire.

When it comes to my work, I am all so smart in good advice,
but when it comes to myself, I am not anymore so wise.

I feel I lost myself along the road,
I have to re-define my love code.

I would have made you my little king,
look at my hand, can you see the ring?

The ring of love shines bright,
wearing it is such a delight.

You are driven by your animal mind,
which made you blind.

Blind to see the inner beauty and affectionate desire,
a loving heart to heart bond fire.

Oh my love, in a glance I would have forgiven you all,
even though knowing I might drive against a wall.

Let me correct myself here, I did learn what it means to love without condition,
while standing at the golden flame of my love mission.

Love sometimes comes along at a time and in a way you least expect,
causing incredible effects.

Love just is…without reason,
pure, innocent and without treason.

One day you might remember,
maybe on the 1st of November,

that you loved me all along,
and you sing me a French love song.

Maybe not,
then we have to rewrite the plot.

I have experienced it all from the reality perspective,
that is why I am so loving and protective.

In the astral realm we are like white swans the perfect loving couple,
and there is no trouble.

So now I am looking for someone “more”,
someone I will just as much adore.

I will fool myself along,
failing in rhyming a love song.

My love for you is endless like my pain,
and now I am standing here again, in the golden rain.

With still hope in my heart that one day you are able to see,
be honest with you and listen to you heart, that is what I plead.

I will always be there for you,
if you asked me to.

I am starting to sense what this is all about,
I still don’t understand it well and I have doubt.

You seem to be having the male energy that I am missing and need,
to be strong from head to feet.

You will see that you continue to have bad feelings like something is wrong,
destiny`s calling is so strong.

You won’t be able to rest,
until you realized that I am the best.

In the end it does not matter,
we will physically or/and non-physically stay together,
returning home and resting in unconditional love forever.

“My love, for 2023 and 2024 and 2025 I wish you all the best,
I hope you have vacations and can rest.

I need to say it, there is no other way,
here at the Hamburg bay.

I love you from the bottom of my heart,
my beloved sweetheart.

I love you without condition,
I just have to increase my physical ambition.

My heart is crying,
there is truly no denying.

Each cell of my body hurts,
the frequency of my heart has a different hertz.

I regret my qualities do not match your high expectations,
and we don’t share a language, being of different nations.

My French…oh dear, I have to learn,
smooth communication is what I will earn.

Dis-moi, je t’écoute.
I will not press the button “mute”.

I see within me there are plenty of deficits,
here is my certificate of indebtedness.

Forgive me I am not what you need,
be lenient, this is what I plead.

Word of honour, I will increase my market value,
so that you can re-value.

For more than 2 years I miserably failed in igniting the love flame,
what a golden shame.

Please give me the chance to properly “apply”,
I try to be not so “shy”.

When is it the time to let go?
I truly do not know.

I can hardly bear anymore this painful longing,
this passionate feeling of belonging.

Que je t´aime,
how much I desire to be your femme.

Heart pain, where is the cure?
I will work on finding one, I succeed for sure.

to be continued…

Embracing Innovation in the Wake of Change: A New Approach to DEI

Hey there, fellow changemakers!

Let’s dive into a hot topic that’s been making waves in the business world: the recent executive order by President Trump that halted DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) programs within the federal government.

This shift has left many organizations wondering how to adjust to a rapidly changing landscape.

But instead of seeing this as a setback, let’s embrace it as a golden opportunity to innovate and better meet the unique needs of our employees.

Redefining Inclusion: More Than Just a Box to Check

new-approach-to-dei

First and foremost, we need to make one thing clear, true inclusivity isn’t about ticking boxes based on race, gender identity, or physical ability.

It’s about celebrating the individuality that makes each employee unique.

It’s about recognizing that your workforce is a rich tapestry of diverse skills, passions, and experiences, all waiting to be leveraged.

So, how can we achieve this?

Let’s move beyond the traditional, one size fits all DEI programs and embrace a more tailored, personalized approach.

Skills Over Credentials: A Radical Shift

Imagine a world where hiring isn’t based solely on glossy resumes or prestigious degrees, but on actual skills and demonstrated expertise.

Picture custom testing that allows candidates to showcase what they can do rather than what they’ve accomplished on paper.

This isn’t just a fantasy, it’s a game changer!

By focusing on a potential hire’s abilities, you open the doors to a much wider and more diverse pool of talent.

Think about it:

If Ted in accounting is a math genius but also has a flair for marketing, why limit his potential to just one department?

By recognizing and embracing the full spectrum of your employees’ capabilities, you’re not only fostering a more inclusive environment, but you’re also maximizing your company’s Abundance Portfolio.

Yes, your workforce is a treasure trove of untapped assets, and it’s time to put them to work.

Polling for Progress: Meeting Individual Needs

Next, let’s talk about truly understanding and meeting individual needs.

Instead of rolling out a generic, top down initiative that might miss the mark, why not simply ask your employees what they need?

Poll them to learn about their unique challenges and preferences.

For instance, if you have an employee with autism who struggles with bright office lighting, rather than overhauling the entire office, why not offer them a customized workspace or the option to work remotely?

It’s a small, thoughtful change that addresses a specific need without creating unnecessary disruption.

This approach not only builds trust and respect but shows your employees that you care about them as individuals.

Beyond Demographics: A Holistic View of Diversity

Diversity isn’t just about checking off demographic boxes, it’s about bringing a wide array of skills, perspectives, and experiences to the table.

When you hire a truly diverse team, you’re not just mixing backgrounds, you’re blending ideas that can spark creativity and innovation.

Let’s celebrate the fact that everyone has something valuable to contribute, no matter how they acquired their knowledge or expertise.

For example, if you have a graphic designer who’s also passionate about environmental sustainability, why not tap into that passion?

Invite them to help create your next eco-friendly marketing campaign.

By recognizing and utilizing the diverse talents within your organization, you’re not just fostering inclusivity, you’re becoming more innovative!

The Urgency of Action: Time to Embrace Change

Now, let’s get real.

The world is evolving quickly, and businesses that cling to outdated models are bound to get left behind.

This is your call to action!

To thrive in today’s business environment, you need a fresh perspective.

By focusing on the individual needs of your employees, embracing diverse talents, and prioritizing skills over credentials, you can create a vibrant, inclusive culture that doesn’t just meet the needs of today’s workforce but also sets the foundation for a successful future.

Let’s Step Up and Thrive Together

It’s time to make change happen.

Let’s empower our teams, embrace their individuality, and drive meaningful transformation in our workplaces.

The opportunity is now, let’s take it!

Ready to build a stronger, more innovative team?

Kindness Art or The Winner Gives it All

In a world increasingly driven by appearances, achievements, and self promotion, it becomes ever more vital to pause… and listen to the quiet voice of the soul.

The poem below is a heartfelt reflection, raw, unfiltered, and deeply human.

It invites you to look beyond illusions and return to the essence of who we truly are: beings capable of kindness, empathy, truth, and profound connection.

It serves as both a mirror and a call to action… to shed the masks we wear, to reclaim our authenticity, and to measure our worth not by what we possess, but by the love and light we bring into the lives of others.

Let it touch you.

Let it challenge you.

Let it remind you…

Kindness Art

Kindness Art or The Winner Gives it All

“I will never forget on how you have treated me,
one sweet day you will see.

I speak about honor, decency and pride,
and to find solutions and do what is right.

If you have unconditionally and kindly served me
and you eased my burden and nurtured my esprit.

When you did it with an open heart,
sort of individual kindness art.

The golden carpet might be rolled out for you,
when you get the “highest” review.”

The values on flat planet Earth are so rotten,
enlightened behaviour has been forgotten.

Narcissism, “me, myself and I”,
the values of the all-seeing “eye”,

are on the rise,
the influence of the dark in disguise.

Feel into your heart,
de-fine your own individual kindness art.

Love, empathy, honesty and a lot more,
let your soul soar.

Your eternal essence, whose voice you suppressed,
whose plans you did not address.

Do you give more than you take?
Is the intention behind it honest or fake?

Do you help the ones in need?
Who, for whatever reasons, bleed.

Do you reach out with a hand to those who fell down,
and maybe had a breakdown?

Do you forgive and contribute to peace?
All involved will feel much more at ease.

Do you share your surplus with each other,
do you appreciate the different view and life style of one another?

Do you stick out of other´s life and energy field,
do you still talk about others and ignore somebody`s protection shield.

Is your deed deriving from a pure heart and dedication,
despite being of a different nation?

Or are you putting up a pretending act,
what you do must be pure and unconditional, fact.

No, we are not all equal, that is a form of misconception,
this idea is a form of deception.

“I” (eye) am rich and studied hard for my degree,
look at my car and my watch, don’t you agree?

I am such a valuable member of society,
I am better, Madame White, what an impiety.

I am so beautiful on the outside, the perfect look,
I can get nearly anybody on my hook.”

You are nothing but a statist in an evil playground,
with artificial love all around.

You are running behind an illusion,
you don’t realize it, but you might be under total confusion.

Desolé, you are measured by your service to others, by your heart and soul,
being authentic and stop playing an artificial role.

Drop the mask and be you,
change your view.

Indeed you are an open book for the dark and the lovine,
so I invite you to re-define.

One smile, one compliment, a helping hand can entail miracles in motion,
with honest dedication and devotion.

“I admit, my physical holographic shell is not perfect, but hey,
my hair is starting to turn grey.

I have not much money on the side,
I am buying my clothes on the flea market with pride.

My heart is singing, so I have all that I need,
I am rich indeed.”

Find Life Coach | Meet Christianne Zurowski: How to Unleash Your Body Intelligence and Unlock The Next Chapter of Your Life?

Christianne Zurowski is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her expertise and positivity.

She walked away from a 12 year teaching career when it began to feel more like a cage than a calling. At that moment she knew it was time to leap. Inspired by family, fueled by intuition, and guided by a deep desire for authenticity, she transitioned from the classroom to coaching… trading grammar lessons for guiding transformations.

She didn’t arrive where she is today without struggle. Her story is one of bravery, self trust, and reclaiming sensitivity as a superpower. After years of people pleasing and self abandonment, she discovered that true change doesn’t begin in the mind, it starts in the body. And once she started listening to her body, she found her way from self abandonment to self trust.

She now helps others do the same… guiding them out of stress, burnout, and stuck patterns using the power of Body Intelligence. Blending neuroscience, somatics, and playful experiential tools, she equips her clients with practical strategies that shift not just the mind, but the entire nervous system. Her coaching is more than transformational, it’s tangible, sustainable, and deeply human. Here is what she said…

Meet Life Coach Christianne Zurowski:

find-life-coach-christianne-zurowski

Name: Christianne Zurowski

Pillar: The Mind, The Body, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to unleash their Body Intelligence, go from self abandonment to self trust and unlock the next chapter of their life.

How they can help: By using various tools and techniques like somatic practices, role play, embodiment exercises, nervous system regulation techniques, and personalized coaching frameworks, just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Honestly, I hesitate to say it, but the pandemic was good to us.

As a coach, Zoom became the norm, which helped my career.

And for my family, it came at a unique time… my son was three, a crucial age for socializing, and I was determined to keep his childhood as “normal” as possible.

While we were in it, I called those years the “years of lemonade”, whenever life handed us an obstacle, we found another way to make lemonade out of lemons.

Since he couldn’t play with kids up close, I had to get creative.

I laminated picture cards for charades, got pool noodles for distance safe battles, and led backyard scavenger hunts with the other lonely kids in our complex.

My favourite imagination project was when we turned our big bicycle boxes into a castle, adding a new element each day for months, painting bricks, crafting a drawbridge, and making crowns and shields.

Thankfully, I worked part-time and on Zoom, so I had the capacity to create fun activities which made that challenging time magical.

I know others weren’t so lucky, and I’m extra grateful for my playful imagination and my background in teaching and leading summer camps, it all came in handy when we needed it most.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

As we know, the pandemic heightened stress, burnout, and disconnection for so many people.

Many of my clients came to me feeling lost and dissatisfied, like something had shifted which made tolerating the life they were living less manageable.

Many were stuck in fight or flight, unable to see clearly.

While others had awakened to a need for something greater.

Though I didn’t start out as an embodiment coach, at the core, my work has always been about looking inward to find authenticity.

While my clients struggled with navigating uncertainty, I helped them find the calm within themselves and build the self trust necessary to make decisions that were right for them.

What started as basic mindfulness practices grew into a richer, deeper, more embodied connection to self.

Without planning to, my professional journey took me down a deeper spiritual path and led me to my Embodiment Training, enabling me to blend what my heart and soul always knew with the research and practices to back it up.

I walk the talk and I show my clients how to do the same.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

I don’t know about learned, but it for sure reinforced it…

Presence is everything.

Cutting out the noise of the outside world was a gift that, if we have the capacity to be open to it, allows us the space to get centred, connect to what’s important, and focus our attention on what counts.

I understand that the pandemic wreaked havoc on the people who were under resourced (emotionally, physically, and financially), but it also stripped away distractions and made it clear that rushing through life on autopilot isn’t sustainable.

It shone a light on the need for embodied connection to build that resilience and the capacity to self regulate, skills deeply engrained in my work.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Well, it actually began as a quest for something more.

I had been a teacher for about 12 years (and loved it!), when I knew it was time to move on.

I loved my students, but I knew I was meant for more than teaching Spanish grammar within the same four walls forever.

I also wanted to start my own family and knew that I could not keep up my level of school involvement AND be there for my own child without pulling back on all the extracurriculars I loved.

This was my knowing of myself.

At the same time, I was in Mexico visiting my family and both my uncle and his girlfriend are coaches.

It was they who put me onto the idea of becoming one myself.

I began to take some elective courses and realized that coaching offered all of the parts that I loved from teaching without any of the tedious marking and meetings AND it gave me freedom over my time.

So, I jumped!

Once I was finally pregnant, I gave up my stable career of 15 years, went back to school and began my private practice as Next Chapter Coach, and I’ve never been happier.

It’s been a steep business learning curve and I’ve learned so much about myself on this journey, but mostly I’m proud of me for being brave, honouring my needs, and sticking with it.

And I could never have done it without the support of my amazing husband!

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

As an empath, I felt others’ emotions so intensely that I didn’t just sense their pain, I embodied it.

As a kid, I could literally feel my skin peel or a bruise form when someone else got hurt.

This deep sensitivity led to me developing a lifelong pattern of people pleasing, constantly scanning for others’ needs, trying to help them feel better (so that I could feel better), while ignoring my own.

It wasn’t until my 30s, when multiple relationships imploded, that I realized my “helping” wasn’t helping me or them.

I realized that in helping them, I was actually self abandoning (and enabling them to stay stuck).

I had to unlearn the belief that my worth was tied to caretaking and start honouring my own needs.

The hardest (and most transformative) lesson was setting boundaries, holding space without absorbing others’ pain, and realizing it was okay to have needs, not just meet them.

I also had to reclaim my sensitivity as a gift rather than a burden.

I see now how I shut off my super sensitivity because it was too painful and I didn’t know how to manage it, but now I have the tools to navigate the enormity of this and TRUST in myself.

Now, as a Certified Embodiment Coach, I get to help others do the same… to tune into their body’s wisdom, break old patterns, and step fully into who they are, without guilt.

My journey from self abandonment to self trust is the foundation of my coaching today.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

My passion is Body Intelligence, teaching people practical tools and strategies so that they can learn to listen to and use the wisdom of their bodies.

Instead of the traditional focus on mindset shifts to create change, my approach is a bit like reverse engineering: starting with the body, which ultimately changes the mind.

So what does that mean?

Well, firstly, I help uncover my clients’ embodied patterns, and then we create new and opposing embodied practices that they can add into their life to undo those old patterns.

By simply changing one’s physical state or shape, it triggers the brain to think differently too, and voila! You’re well on your way to lasting transformation.

It’s so very cool because it does not require much storytelling to get to the crux of the issue.

It’s fast, effective, practical, and powerful!

Did you know, while the brain can process an amazing 40 to 50 bits of information per second, the rest of our sensory body is processing an astonishing 11 million bits of info in the same second?

What I do is help people tap into that other 11 million bits of info that happens on autopilot, and turn the unconscious, conscious.

Because when you can be aware of and decode that sensory input, there’s a wealth of information available to help you navigate stress and anxiety, improve decision making, communicate more effectively, lead with integrity, and live authentically.

I like to say I move people beyond EQ to BQ, opening up a new type of intelligence that we all already have within ourselves, BODY INTELLIGENCE.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I bridge the gap between intellectual insight and embodied action.

Many coaching methods focus solely on mindset shifts, but I help clients create deep, embodied awareness so they can break unhelpful patterns and build lasting resilience.

My approach blends neuroscience, somatics, and real world application, making personal and professional transformation tangible and sustainable.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Clients walk away with more than just strategies…

They get to experience a fundamental shift in how they show up and take away the practices needed to implement these shifts into their daily lives.

They develop:

  1. A greater ability to manage stress and prevent burnout.
  2. A deeper connection to their intuition and body intelligence.
  3. Improved communication and relational awareness with others.
  4. More clarity, confidence, and ease in decision making.
  5. The ability to shift their state in the moment, rather than getting stuck in old patterns.
  6. A deeper connection to their Self, enabling them to live in alignment with their values, lead with integrity, and live authentically.

These aren’t just surface level changes.

Research shows that 80% of the communication between the brain and body flows from the body to the brain, not the other way around.

So being able to develop their BQ and change their behaviour and physiology results in deep, lasting change.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Yes!

I incorporate a mix of somatic practices, embodiment exercises, nervous system regulation techniques, and personalized coaching frameworks.

There is also a lot of playfulness in my work because we role play and act out different ways of being to learn how to break patterns and create new ones.

My work is highly interactive and experiential.

And I always take notes to provide clients with a recap of the session so that they can focus on being present and in the moment.

I like to say: less thinking and more doing.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Your body is speaking to you all day long, are you listening?

The wisdom you seek isn’t just in your logical mind… it’s in your breath, your posture, your nervous system, your being.

When you learn to tune into and decipher these messages, you unlock a whole new level of clarity, confidence, freedom, and ease.

And the best part is that this intelligence already lives within you.

You just need to learn how to tap into these forgotten skills to unlock a whole new level of consciousness.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

We spend so much time worrying about what ‘THEY’ think… society, colleagues, family…

But often, ‘THEY’ is just a mental construct that keeps us stuck.

The moment we free ourselves from the heavy weight of that illusion, we open the door to deeper connection, creativity, and authenticity.

The only way to get there is by turning inward and listening to the messages coming through within us.

Our body holds the key… we just need to slow down, listen to it, and allow it to guide us forward.

By no means does this replace our brain, it’s not one or the other!

The goal is to let our mind and body work together as they were intended to do, enabling us to quiet our anxious, over thinking minds and opening us up to more levels of intelligence and a deep inner knowing that helps us better steer our way through life.

Your final thoughts?

Transformation isn’t just about changing how you think, it’s about changing how you show up in the world.

Your embodiment is your presence: how you move, how you relate, how you connect.

It’s more than just knowing your body, your intuition, or your thoughts, it’s about living them.

It’s alignment in motion.

You’ll know it’s working when your thoughts match your words, your emotions echo your truth, and your actions reflect all of it.

That’s real alignment.

That’s where peace, presence, and deep inner knowing live.

Body Intelligence is the vehicle that will get you there…

But confidence, resilience, authenticity, and ease?

That’s the destination.

If you’re ready to feel that shift from within, I’d be honored to walk beside you on that journey.

How to Develop a Growth Mindset Using Aviator Game Strategies

Mindset is everything in both gaming and personal growth.

The manner in which people face the ups and downs of the Jackpot City Aviator game is reflective of how they handle challenges in the real world.

Cultivating a growth mindset is less about self help and more about experiential learning, thoughtful decision-making and remaining grounded in the process.

The Aviator game provides a surprisingly applicable paradigm for such lessons.

How to Develop a Growth Mindset Using Aviator Game Strategies:

develop-a-growth-mindset-using-aviator-game-strategies

The Fundamentals

One of the earliest things that players of Jackpot City Aviator learn is risk management.

Each exit or cash out decision is a snap judgment about confidence, timing and control.

In real life, every day, people take risks, weighing chances against possible consequences.

The game promotes reflective thinking, allowing players to sharpen their sense of knowing exactly when to advance and when to retreat, which are abilities useful in business, professional moves and personal aspirations.

Regular practice of these lessons has the ability to result in superior instincts, better pressure decisions and self confidence in navigating life.

Accept Ambiguity

No one can tell exactly how high the multiplier will reach in Jackpot City Aviator and that unpredictability is half the fun.

This unpredictability teaches players to become comfortable with not having control every time, an indispensable life coaching lesson.

When individuals cease to fear the unknown and accept it instead, they will eventually open themselves to new things and opportunities previously daunting to them.

Letting go is simpler the further players are immersed in uncertainty, particularly in fast paced gaming rounds.

Embracing unpredictability refines vision and creates a flexible, goal oriented attitude towards everyday challenges.

Fail Forward

Failure is a part of the game, as with life.

A crash in Jackpot City Aviator can be disappointing but also a new opportunity to reassess and go again.

Instead of regarding a loss as failure, players who hold a growth mindset see it as feedback.

Life coaches teach that we must learn from failure and the Aviator game itself encourages the practice naturally through frequent, high speed repetitions.

Gradually, over time, these bounce back experiences develop mental strength, self insight and a wiser strategy for approaching challenges.

Resilience grows incrementally with each bounce back and with practise under pressure.

Reflection After Every Flight

Each round in Jackpot City Aviator offers a moment of pause.

Did you cash out too quickly? Too slowly? Or at just the right moment?

The repetitive process of doing and thinking resembles the reflective process promoted by life coaching.

Through a few seconds of consideration regarding choice and outcome, players become increasingly mindful and purposeful, not to mention in day to day choices.

This reflective review facilitates improved gameplay as well as personal growth in a very real, tangible manner.

Self reflection clarifies, heightens awareness and develops sharper patterns of long term personal development.

Small Victories and Big Lessons

Victory at Jackpot City Aviator isn’t necessarily about large wins and more often, it develops through a string of small, intelligent maneuvers.

So is life.

Noticing accomplishment, even small ones, builds faith in oneself and in habit.

Life coaches emphasize the value of small wins and Aviator play illustrates perfectly how small victories can snowball into greater advances as long as consistency is sustained.

Every well placed move reaffirms self trust as well as the value of sustained, positive momentum.

These tiny victories each day translate into long term expansion and they keep players focused and motivated on the bigger picture.

Calm Under Pressure

Staying concentrated when the stakes are raised is a key advantage of playing Jackpot City Aviator.

The anticipation of the airplane taking off or right before it crashes challenges emotional self control.

They get used to controlling their responses and stopping short of panicking, habits that are very valuable in high stress situations in real life.

Cultivating composure in pressure situations enhances decision making skills as well as develops emotional intelligence in the long run.

Training by playing facilitates shifting these skills to other high stakes situations beyond the game.

Even nerves of steel and self control turn into assets in high stress workplace situations as well as personal life situations.

Shifting From Outcome to Process Oriented Thinking

One of the greatest mindset changes for long term success is emphasizing process over outcome.

In the Jackpot City Aviator game, overfocusing on the ultimate multiplier can cause you to act impulsively.

But those who find pleasure in the strategy, rhythm and calls on judgment tend to play better overall.

This is reflective of a major life coaching lesson: if you are focused on the process, the outcome tends to see to itself.

Focusing on the process produces endurance, self assurance and overall superior performance.

Process centered thinking begets lasting growth and consistency under pressure.

Real Life Development Strategies

The daily practice, self awareness and adaptability acquired from Jackpot City Aviator play can positively contribute to someone’s life beyond the game.

From improved concentration and regulation of emotion to intensified risk perception and learning adaptability, these gaming habits are the foundation for a healthier and productive state of mind.

Through repetitive introspection and mindful participation, the game becomes something greater than entertainment, it becomes a tool for personal growth.

Even several thoughtful episodes can open doors to long term behaviour changes and personal understanding. These habits, once formed, deliver sustainable benefits to all realms of a player’s personal and professional life.

Find Life Coach | Meet Corrie Dunkin: How to Recover from Trauma and Restore Your Relationship with Self?

Corrie Dunkin is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her strength of character and passion for health and wellness.

She was just beginning a new chapter (launching a nonprofit center to support foster youth) when the pandemic struck and everything changed. Almost overnight, what was meant to be a haven of mentorship and mental health support became a crisis response center. Despite the overwhelming challenges, she stayed grounded in service, adapting to the moment by listening closely to the young adults she mentored, learning from them, and creating a sense of safety and connection in the midst of chaos.

She found healing not just through her efforts, but through the stories and spirits of the youth themselves. They invited her into their world, taught her what real support looked like, and revealed the extraordinary resilience that can exist alongside unimaginable trauma. It was through their honesty and courage that she began to understand the limits of her own knowledge, and the need to go deeper. This led her to become a Certified Trauma Informed Integrative Health Coach.

She now brings that same compassion and wisdom into her coaching practice, offering clients a space where they feel seen, safe, and empowered. With a deep belief in the power of the human spirit, she helps others reconnect with their inner voice (the one that trauma often tries to silence) and reminds them of their inherent wholeness. Through her work, she transforms pain into purpose, creating ripple effects of healing far beyond the sessions. Here is what she said…

Meet Life Coach Corrie Dunkin:

find-life-coach-corrie-dunkin

Name: Corrie Dunkin, BA, TICC

Pillar: The Mind, The Body, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Anyone who is interested in trauma recovery and restorative relationship to self.

How they can help: By using a customized, trauma informed approach focused for each individual’s needs.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

In many ways me and my family are healthy and well.

And at the same time, I feel like even after 5 years, I’m still trying to figure out a new social, relational, and professional norm.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

When the pandemic struck, I was working with a team to found and build a nonprofit center to provide foster youth transitioning to adulthood with wraparound services like mentoring, education, and mental health support.

Within a month of opening our doors (to a flood of youth and young adults in need) the pandemic hit.

Because of the nature of the work and the size of the need, we began operating more and more as a crisis response center as the pandemic unfolded.

I was running the mentoring program and mentoring several young adults at the time, and yes, it profoundly affected us all.

We did our best to shift as many of our services (like mentoring and tutoring) online as we could.

But homelessness, instability, unemployment, lack of education, lack of healthcare, incarceration, and unplanned pregnancies were constant barriers even before the pandemic.

So when we finally got a few things going online, it seemed highly insufficient.

I was lucky many of the foster youth liked me enough to tell me the truth about what they needed.

They let me know how boring an online peer support group I had planned ended up being for them.

They also offered really helpful suggestions about ways we could spend our time that they would be excited about.

Like listening to each other’s favorite music and letting the group know what they appreciated about it.

Playing music trivia.

Sharing poetry.

Doing writing prompts together.

And so, they gave me a second chance and allowed me the great privilege of being in their lives and learning to listen to them above myself.

They became the start of the therapeutic trauma informed education aside from my own story.

And the relationships we built started changing my life for the better.

Not long after, we transitioned the support group to a park with masks.

With my continued quest to give them (and myself) a sense of normalcy, we celebrated birthdays, ate lots of cake, fried chicken, and veggie trays.

We played games, carved pumpkins, did art, talked, laughed, and I grew to know a bit more about their stories.

Not just the horrific trauma so many had been exposed to from such young ages, but the incredible resilience I could see in their spirits to love so easily and freely, like children.

In a way, that support group and the relationships I grew to have with these young adults played a huge role in my desire to further my education about trauma.

I ultimately left this organization after witnessing how insufficient my own (and the general population’s) trauma informed knowledge was to support these young adults in a way that supported their healing rather than causing further harm.

This is what led me to study trauma and become a coach.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

One thing I heard a lot from the heroic young adults I was mentoring before and during the pandemic was how much and how often they craved a sense of normalcy throughout their young and abnormally trauma filled lives.

So when the pandemic hit, I began an online peer support group with most of our clients in an attempt to provide some normalcy.

It reminded me, in my own story through trauma healing, how healing often comes just through the simplest care of a person who reminds you that you matter enough to be delighted in and celebrated, just because you’re you and for no other reason.

Also, trauma has a bigger impact on our health and lives than we realize.

And the more we can educate ourselves on why that is and what we can do about it, the better off our whole world will be.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Although my coaching career started in health and fitness over a decade ago, there are really two paths of my life story that converged about five years ago and led me to become a Certified Trauma Informed Integrative Health Coach.

The first was a journey of self discovery and a need for healing from childhood trauma that I began over 20 years ago as a young wife and mother of three incredible children.

Looking back, after all three of my children left for college and began transitioning to adulthood, I’ve realized that the work I did to heal my own childhood while raising them was, and still is, the work I am most proud of in my life.

It’s also the work that continues to inform my purpose, integrity, and values, both personally and professionally.

And, along with my communications degree, it’s allowed me the privilege of working across several fields in education, leadership, coaching, mentoring, and nonprofit building to serve young adults transitioning out of foster care.

The second path toward coaching was born out of a necessity to better support the developmental needs of one of our children who had been struggling with significant neurological and developmental delays since birth.

Having exhausted most of the medical resources available to us at that time in search of help for her, it was my husband who discovered what would ultimately have the greatest effect on her development (and all of our health and lives): the essential role functional fitness and nutrition play in healthy human development.

He ended up inspiring not just me, but our whole family and an entire community to improve our health and reach for our greatest physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual potential.

This is how I became a fitness coach and personal trainer, and spent many years as a Certified Coach in CrossFit, Gymnastics, and CrossFit Kids.

All of it together has intersected and culminated into where I am today, a forever student of my own healing and health as a Certified Trauma Informed Coach Practitioner with a focus on integrative health and well being.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

After the birth of our third child, I hit the lowest point in my life and became suicidal.

The therapy I began during this time not only saved my life, it was the beginning of understanding my own trauma.

It was the best and most profound change the healing journey has led me through, and the purpose I get to live out so authentically today.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

The innovation I bring as a trauma informed health coach starts with offering every client intentional and heartfelt unconditional belonging.

I do this by providing them with a psychologically safe space to support nervous system regulation, a wellness focused coaching partnership, and a compassionate listening presence so they might better hear their own inner wisdom.

This space gives clients an opportunity to reconnect with themselves, while the coaching partnership calls them to use the space to restore an active, healthier relationship with themselves.

The work of coaching is not healing, helping, fixing, or offering advice.

The innovative work of all coaching is to listen deeply in order to empower anyone to remember how to listen to (and then live fully out of) their own wisdom, or “inner voice of well being” as I like to call it.

Innovation is often required when, as I’ve experienced in my own life, the inner voice of well being can easily be drowned out by constant autonomic nervous system alarms triggered by the pain of trauma.

It can be replaced with a pretty convincing voice telling us we must be broken, defective, worthless.

I treasure the moments my voice might break through those distortions to quiet them.

I’m privileged to bear witness to so many heroic stories, including my own.

As we learn to make tangible sense of it all by recognizing the million different miraculous ways we are already, miraculously (who we were born to be) well.

And that all pain is an opportunity to harness our greatest power, to transform pain into purpose for the sake of a greater good beyond ourselves.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

As a Certified Trauma Informed Integrative Health Coach, I approach coaching from a wellness focused, trauma informed perspective.

This approach has been uniquely informed through my own experience with trauma.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

They often tell me they feel safe, seen, heard, valued, and empowered.

Not always, but often.

I am very much human and always in practice.

I believe in the value of coaching, but I’m not perfect and never will be.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Do not underestimate the power of a trauma informed and healing life.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

Prioritizing the work of understanding trauma and healing, and improving my own mental and emotional health as a result, is the most valuable and best work I’ve ever done (and may ever do) in service to contributing to improving life for the next generations.
