First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

As a single Mother with 1 kid in school and another starting school was a really hard time.

A battle ground, teachers against parents, parents against teachers.

Then to add work, finances, political instability and fears to me was a very hard time to handle as a head of the house.

What helped me was doing selfless work, continue taking care of me, physical and mental health.

Taking things one day at the time and one task at the time.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

Everyone is a different world, like a box full of surprises, hurts, pain, experiences, trauma etc.

When we suppress all the things in that box we develop the desperate necessity to be seen and be heard but with no direction and discipline, some might call it the crazy in our heads.

What covid did was open those boxes with no restriction.

I have been passionate about human behavior forever.

I would go to places and see how people interact and then, I started to listen more, then I was asking more questions and making an effort to connect.

When I connect I’m able to see the other person’s story and I feel empathy.

Connecting with people helps me understand that I’m not alone and I don’t have to do everything on my own.

It’s a good feeling knowing that you belong.

I dedicated my life to listen to people and help them understand a positive perspective so they can feel that they belong too.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

I moved from a different country and a different culture, that was challenging on it’s own but what really challenged me was my pride and my own thoughts.

I experienced 2 pregnancies on my own, I almost lived on the street, I had a bike accident, I was broke and I didn’t have any support, I was attached to a bed for some months.

But what really stopped me was my mindset.

My perspective and what I thought about life was always Infront of me, my victim mentality was always Infront of me, preventing me from seeing more and experiencing better.

The crazy in my head didn’t let me see the positive in life and in people.

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I’m bringing old school back together with technology and innovation.

I listen and pay attention having a virtual coffee, writing, reading and sharing.

The key is being available for the people that are ready for a transformation and to provide the right tools for them.

I do not tell people what to do, I allow them to practice critical thinking and come up with their own conclusions and solutions with the right direction.

I focus my work in transforming unhealthy habits, consistency, challenging conversations and discipline.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

As the eldest son and a responsible member of my family, I’ve always strived to do what’s best for them.

The pandemic brought difficult times to Nepal, and our middle class family was no exception.

With farm workers unavailable, markets closed, and logistics disrupted, we experienced significant losses from our agricultural lands.

However, during my 15 day quarantine in Qatar, I seized the opportunity to enroll in a Business Management course.

This crucial period proved to be a pivotal step forward in my career.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

Businesses across industries faced operational challenges and closures due to lockdowns and safety concerns.

This disrupted the delivery of services and products to clients, causing delays, cancellations, and adjustments.

The pandemic changed people’s priorities and spending habits.

Some industries, like travel and hospitality, saw drastic declines, while others, like online retail and remote work solutions, experienced significant growth.

Clients adapted their needs and preferences accordingly.

Many individuals and businesses faced financial hardship due to job losses, business closures, and economic downturn.

This impacted their ability to pay for services or make purchases

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

There is no such kind of big obstacle unless you accept yourself, achievement happens when you do set your goal, believe, visualize, and work yourself strategically.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Coming from a middle class farming family, it was a constant struggle to manage both expenses and my studies.

After completing high school, I embarked on a career as a waiter at Hotel Chitwan Paradise Resort.

Three years later, I diversified my experience, working with individuals across various companies in Nepal and pursuing my own small businesses. Unfortunately, these ventures were devastated by the 2014 earthquake.

With my entrepreneurial dreams shattered, I made the difficult decision to seek opportunities abroad.

In 2015, I arrived in Qatar as a foreign employee, starting my journey as a tea boy at the Al Majed Group.

During my time there, I seized upon every opportunity for career development, taking advantage of courses offered during company downtime.

Between 2018 and 2019, I invested in individual business courses, leading to my internal promotion to an administrative role as a DC Admin.

While the pandemic presented a global challenge, for me, it became a catalyst for significant change.

As mentioned earlier, I used this period to further my education by pursuing an MBA through distance learning.

I also participated in coaching and motivational classes, all of which culminated in my graduation in 2022.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

I believe every obstacle comes with an opportunity, either business or job, so I converted such kind of challenges into opportunities.

Many failures are the reason I’m here today.

In response to the pandemic, our company implemented strict “work from home” policies to minimize physical activity.

Everything is possible if you believe strongly in your mind, and it’ll function accordingly.

For example: if you need urgent funds, in regular life indirectly it reflects on your daily lifestyle, saving or cost cutting and finding out additional income sources, etc.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

During the pandemic, I was working in a school as the Headteacher.

I was in work everyday because school was open for vulnerable children.

It was a really stressful and eye opening time for me as a school leader.

Education was already in crises, and the pandemic just made things worse.

During the pandemic, I turned 40!

I was burnt out, stressed and had no time for loved ones.

A friend of mine asked me a life changing question, “how many more summers have you got left to live and how do you want to spend them?”

Immediately, I knew I had to change.

The pandemic was both an awful and exhilarating time for me.

Awful because of all the death and lack of human contact but exhilarating because it was an immense period of personal growth and evolvement for me.

I came across Human Design and it changed my life!

After the pandemic, I left my job and embarked on my new career as a Human Design Lifestyle Coach.

Today, I do the work that I love and live a flexible lifestyle.

More importantly, my work as a Human Design Lifestyle Coach positively impacts others to change and live a life of alignment, authenticity and purpose.

The more people that begin to shift into their aligned and authentic paradigm, the better the world will be.

The pandemic opened up my eyes and my mindset to a new way of living and being in this world.

For that, I am truly grateful.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

The pandemic affected my clients in different ways.

However, as a Coach, I noticed that clients’ mental health started getting worse.

People began to really reflect upon their life and their life goals, and many embarked on coaching to help them carve out a new life.

So many of my clients began realising that life was short and wanted to create a life where they had time to do the things they love and spend more time with loved ones.

Many clients told me that they started thinking about money in a different way too.

They started thinking about how much money they actually need compared to how much they wanted with regards to finding work life balance.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The biggest lessons that I learned during the pandemic:

1. Life is short and not guaranteed, so make the most of it.

2. No matter what your circumstance, there is so much to be grateful for. You are always living someone else’s dream.

3. If you have a desire deep within you to do something, it is your next natural step in life, so explore it.

4. Wellbeing is a priority.

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I completed my coaching training with The Coaching Academy in 2014.

At that time, it was something that naturally interested me.

I wanted to use it within my job as a senior teacher to help others reach their professional goals.

As I progressed in my career, I began coaching many educators both personally and professionally.

I began to delve into group coaching too.

When I became a Headteacher, I began to coach other leaders in education and some leaders in other industries.

During the pandemic, the need for coaching drastically increased, and I began to develop my own systems, tools and techniques to support my clients.

Eventually, I realised it was my true calling and started incorporating Human Design into my coaching practice.

Human Design is the missing piece of the coaching jigsaw puzzle.

It is my belief that the Human Design system is the most effective tool to support clients to understand themselves on a deeper level and therefore, the changes that they are able to make are more successful because they learn how to align their goals with their innate way of being in this world.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

The biggest obstacle I had to overcome in my life was living a conditioned life.

My parents are immigrants and re mortgaged their house and did everything they could financially to give me the best education and life chances.

The expectation on me to succeed in life was a given.

I strived to reach high levels of professional success, which I achieved.

However, I never felt truly happy.

I was trapped in a success bubble that that was impacting my health.

When I discovered Human Design, it gave me the confidence to step into my power and make changes in my life to leave my professional employed job to start my own business.

My life is totally different now, and I do work that totally lights me up and purposefully serves others.

Human Design helped me to shift my mindset and start living in alignment with my inner self.
