Find Life Coach | Meet Alistair M. Hawkes: How to Have a Healthy Relationship with Yourself?

Alistair Hawkes is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her innovativeness and expertise.

She has a master of arts degree in Somatic Counseling Psychology and she is licensed as a professional counselor in Colorado. Her professional training is vast and she currently spends her time as an educator who helps students and clients learn the basics of psychophysiologic self regulation. She dedicated her life to helping others find happiness within themselves. From mentoring disadvantaged teens to providing clinical counseling, her path has been anything but conventional, yet it has uniquely equipped her to guide others toward self actualization.

Her coaching style is as innovative as it is effective. At the heart of her approach lies a self development process she calls HIKE4evolution, a series of practices designed to transform individuals from the inside out. By combining ancient wisdom with modern techniques like biofeedback and neurofeedback, Alistair offers a holistic model that not only enhances mental health but also promotes emotional well being. Her clients, whether in person or through online classes, consistently report reduced stress, increased self esteem, and more fulfilling relationships.

She developed a unique philosophy and perspective on life. Her teachings, referred to humorously as the “gospel of Alistair,” emphasize the power of positive thinking, mindful movement, and conscious awareness. Through simple, daily practices, she empowers her clients to ground themselves, focus their minds, and stay present in the “most wonderful NOW moment.” Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Alistair Hawkes:

find-life-coach-alistair-m-hawkes

Name: Alistair M. Hawkes

Pillar: The Mind, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Anyone, especially professionals and therapists who want to recover from burn out, improve their mental and emotional wellbeing, and improve the relationship they have with themselves.

How they can help: By using various coaching tools, techniques, and methods like the HIKE4evolution, as well as assessments like the Burnout Check up, just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

I have a college aged daughter and my whole family (sister, two brothers and my mom) lives nearby on the front range of Colorado.

We are all doing mostly great since the Pandemic times.

Certainly there have been ups and downs but for the majority of the time we are all highly functioning people who like to spend time together having fun.

Except for the fact that it happened I don’t think any of us are experiencing long term affects, or negative ramifications from the Pandemic that we know of.

Things during the pandemic were stressful on many levels and I watched myself ride an edge on self regulation.

We all supported each other and we were lucky to have one another so close by.

But I saw people and community members struggling, in my office and online, lots of regular folks challenged by the stress of isolation, lockdowns, job losses, kids at home for school, the fear about getting sick, the media frenzy and all the political turmoil, were rocking a good portion of the population’s worlds.

I saw a lot of service providers burning the candle at both ends providing services to the community during the Pandemic.

Flexibility is a thing and everyday I saw through my clients and my family that the more flexible people are, and can become, the more easily they are able to navigate the challenges of life.

When people can’t successfully manage the stressors of life they often see a professional.

Hundreds of those people come to me.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

The Pandemic affected my clients in different ways, just like with everyone on the planet.

What I noticed first is that the clients I had before the pandemic who were mostly high functioning perceived, at least initially, that the lockdowns and work from home orders were a reprieve from commuting, etc. and they relaxed on therapy and stayed home and rested.

This actually resolved some stress.

What I experienced next is receiving a huge influx of inquiries from new clients, people who weren’t doing so well before the lockdowns and the lockdowns really affected them, stressed them more, and therapy became the “new thing”.

My practice grew to overfull in a matter of months and I tried to keep up best I could until I realized I couldn’t help everyone who called…

And I put the brakes on so I could figure out a way to help more people without wearing myself down.

That’s when I started teaching classes to other therapists who were drained as well, from the influx of new clients.

I’ve also had a significant increase in teachers and nurses on my caseload.

So the burnout recovery series I teach now came into being through those experiences with clients in my office during the pandemic.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

There were lots of big lessons to be learned during the pandemic.

To start I have to say “don’t work so hard that you lose sight of what’s most important in life.”

My daughter is a treasure and I was working so hard during the pandemic that I didn’t notice when she was struggling with online high school and the isolation of lockdowns.

That was awful to realize.

Now I’m focussed on helping other helpers remember what’s important to them besides helping others.

Another thing I learned during the pandemic is that even though families may disagree it’s still really awesome when we can love each other in spite of our differences.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I “coach” people on how to have healthy relationships with themselves and how to actualize their potential so they can be all they want to be.

This can be tricky business.

I’ve worked on the illness side of things for some time, mentoring disadvantaged teens in my youth, counseling teens in my 30s and then providing clinical counseling following my graduate education in my 40s.

People struggle.

This is true everywhere.

I’ve always “coached” people to be happier, and over time I’ve realized that the best way to help others be happier is to teach them how to be happy within themselves.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Probably the biggest obstacle I’ve had to overcome in my life is the period between late childhood and early adolescence.

During that time there was a lot of chaos in my family and unfortunately I was neglected and had a deficit of guidance and containment.

My late teen years and early adult life was spent kind of spinning out because of early life and I made a lot of mistakes.

I also had a lot of great learning experiences throughout that time that opened doors for me to mindfulness, meditation, and holistic medicine which led me to do the work I do today.

This gives me some perspective on the silver lining concept of life.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

The way I innovate students, in my office and in online classes, is to teach them a self development process called HIKE4evolution that helps them transform themselves from the inside out.

The process is a series of practices that are learned step by step, and they build on each other creating greater focus and concentration, reduced symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, increased self image and self esteem, and overall more optimal function.

Over time the practices and the understanding generated by learning about the concepts builds flexibility in self expression and in relationship to self and others.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

My coaching, or education model is unique because it combines ancient wisdom with modern concepts such as biofeedback and neurofeedback.

Because I have a therapist background there’s a level of mental health support and emotional wellbeing support in my coaching and teaching that can only be offered because of the education I have combined with my lived experience.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

My clients have said funny and wonderful things to me like, “I really try to put the gospel you preach to me to good use.”

That made me think, hmmmm “the gospel of Alistair” and then I laughed at myself.

Clients have thanked me for teaching them the power of positive thinking and the benefits of mindful movement and conscious awareness.

In addition, my clients and students report feeling less stress, more joy, more self acceptance, healthier and happier relationships, and better boundaries.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

The best tools I can offer to people to transform themselves on a daily basis are simple and multidisciplinary, meaning they are found in many traditions.

6 ways people can heal and transform themselves on a daily basis:

  1. Ground, stay grounded in yourself, in your life.
  2. Know how to center yourself and what that feels like.
  3. Hone your senses, stay awake to them but detached from them.
  4. Spend time focussing your mind. Practice focussing.
  5. Move your body.
  6. Be aware.

These concepts are simple and when applied for a short time on a daily basis have a profound affect on one’s ability to be present in what I like to call this most wonderful NOW moment.

And, for those of you who want to check your burnout versus vitality level you can take the Burnout Check up which will give you some data on your level of optimal function.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Have peace in your heart.

Work toward the greater good.

Solve problems without violence.

Manage your energy and your life with openness, detachment, and discernment.

Have a daily practice of inner work that transforms you from the inside out.

Do what you can to evolve.

Do the work you love.

Enjoy!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

I’ve learned a lot of great lessons in my life… one of the best is to keep learning, no matter what.

To set goals regularly (thanks, Anne!), have grace with myself, and practice self acceptance.

Other lessons that feel important are to stay open to conflict resolution and to people’s differences and needs.

Also, be mindful, do my inner work, and care about things that are bigger than me like world peace and humanity’s evolution.

I want this for everyone.

Your final thoughts?

Thank you for this opportunity to share myself with your readers.

I look forward to reading more about the many coaches who read and contribute to your publication.

Really live every moment, break the patterns that keep you stuck and savor life.

See you on the path!

Find Life Coach | Meet Danielle Duncan: How to Equip Yourself with The Right Tools for Greatness?

Danielle Duncan is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her honesty and professionalism.

Her path to becoming a life coach was shaped by her innate desire to serve and support others. From a young age, she believed she was destined for greatness, not out of arrogance, but because of the joy she found in bringing happiness to others. This intrinsic motivation, coupled with a kind heart and a nurturing spirit, led her to embrace a career in life coaching, where she could use her empathetic nature to make a significant impact on the lives of those around her.

Her journey has not been without its challenges though. In 2022, her life took a dramatic turn when she was struck by a drunk driver, sidelining her for months with severe pain and the need for physical therapy. As if this wasn’t enough, she faced the devastating loss of her brother. These profound experiences of loss and adversity pushed Dani to seek solace in meditation, journaling, and her faith, ultimately fortifying her mental resilience and deepening her commitment to helping others.

Her innovative approach blends mindfulness techniques, visualization practices, and personalized action plans to create a tailored coaching experience for each client. Her transparency and non judgmental demeanor foster a safe space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts without fear of awkwardness or judgment. Through her unique coaching style, Dani equips her clients with the tools they need to grow personally and professionally, providing them with lasting confidence and support. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Danielle Duncan:

find-life-coach-danielle-duncan

Name: Danielle Duncan

Pillar: The Mind

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to equip themselves with the right tools for a smooth journey toward personal and professional transformation.

How they can help: By using various tools and techniques like journaling, mindfulness techniques, visualization practices, and customized action plans just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

My family and I are thriving.

The pandemic presented challenges, especially for me as a former Event Promoter transitioning into a Life Coach.

The inability to host in person events was tough for this self proclaimed social butterfly.

However, embracing virtual platforms brought unexpected advantages, such as saving on expenses like venue and food costs.

It was a learning curve, but ultimately it provided more flexibility.

And hey, who doesn’t love saving a few bucks?

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

After a year of running my coaching business, I had become comfortable with conducting all appointments virtually.

This decision proved beneficial for both myself and my clients, ensuring a seamless experience from the start.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

Gratitude is often overlooked by us humans.

We should appreciate the simple blessings such as waking up, breathing, and walking, as well as being in a sound state of mind.

These are the things we often fail to see as true blessings.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, with three older brothers in a single parent household.

From a young age, I believed I was destined for greatness.

While it may sound a bit self assured, hear me out!

I have always found joy in bringing happiness to others, giving me an adrenaline rush.

It became clear to me that my purpose in life was to serve and support people, whether through lending an ear, small gestures, or offering my assistance.

I was determined to make a positive impact on the world in my own way.

Blessed with a kind heart and a love for nurturing others, I have always felt a strong maternal instinct.

Throughout my life, I have naturally taken on the role of a life coach, as people have consistently turned to me for advice on various matters.

Even strangers have felt comfortable opening up to me about their personal struggles without prompt.

Recognizing my gift for connecting with others and my empathetic nature, I decided to pursue a career as a life coach, as I believe these qualities are essential for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

In April 2022, I faced a major challenge when I was struck by a drunk driver, causing me to sit out the rest of the year and undergo physical therapy due to severe pain.

Just three months later, one of my brothers was tragically involved in a murder, suicide.

It’s safe to say that 2022 was the most difficult year of my life as I experienced significant losses.

This turmoil took a toll on my mental health, prompting me to seek professional help.

It was during this time that I found solace in meditation, journaling, and leaning on my faith for strength.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

At Root and Revive Life Coaching Services, I am dedicated to continuous innovation in order to offer top tier support and guidance to my clients.

I integrate a diverse range of methods and resources during coaching sessions to assist clients in gaining fresh insights, conquering obstacles, and reaching their objectives.

Through the utilization of mindfulness techniques, visualization practices, customized action plans, and accountability structures, I aim to establish a vibrant and individualized coaching journey for every client.

By keeping abreast of cutting edge coaching developments and studies, I am equipped to adjust my strategies to cater to the distinct requirements of each individual, empowering them to unleash their full potential.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I consider myself to be quite transparent.

I create a non judgmental space for people to be themselves, and you can sense that from me.

You can feel comfortable discussing anything with me, knowing that I won’t make you feel awkward.

Even if the topic seems unusual, I have a knack for maintaining a poker face.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

They will be equipped with all essential tools to support their growth in both personal and professional endeavors, offering them confidence and support whenever required.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

I highly recommend journaling.

While some may argue, “But Dani, I’m not a writer,” you don’t need to be a professional writer to express your thoughts and emotions on paper.

Your journal is not a work of fiction, it’s a record of your real life.

By journaling, you are documenting your journey and can refer back to it five years later as you continue to heal.

Witnessing your progress and personal growth will inspire and motivate you, proving that you have overcome challenges and demonstrating your resilience.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Embrace self love and empower yourself to shape the life you desire.

Refuse to be confined by others’ expectations and embrace your true, authentic self unapologetically.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

Live your life to the fullest by not allowing fear to paralyze you.

There have been things I’ve always wanted to do, but fear held me back.

I didn’t feel prepared and worried about judgment or lack of support.

It’s important to practice self care.

I’ve been in constant grind mode for as long as I can remember.

After experiencing burnout and getting sick with the coronavirus, I realized the importance of taking care of myself.

I no longer need to be constantly in grind mode.

It’s okay to prioritize my well being by rescheduling meetings or taking breaks when needed.

I don’t have to overfill my plate.

It’s okay to say no to others and say yes to myself.

Your final thoughts?

I hope that everyone experiences prosperity, love, and peace, and practices kindness.

If you ever require my assistance, I am here for you.

I would be delighted to support you on your path.

Find Life Coach | Meet Susan Thomas: How to Transform from a Leader to an Inspirational Guide?

Susan Thomas is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her innovativeness and experience.

She is guiding leaders through the intricate landscapes of personal and professional development. With an impressive 28 year career dedicated to enhancing soft skills, she empowered thousands of leaders to rise to new heights, blending emotional intelligence, effective communication, and the vital acceptance of failure as a stepping stone to growth.

She champions the creation of coaching cultures within organizations, which can dramatically reduce turnover rates by 72%, resulting in substantial savings and a more motivated workforce. Her innovative Inspire Network membership offers a treasure trove of resources designed to alleviate stress, boost motivation, and foster a harmonious work and life integration.

She reveals how early experiences with a demanding coach instilled limiting beliefs, which she has transformed into empowering mantras through years of introspection and personal growth. This just proves how important it is to have the right coach by your side. Her unique coaching approach, which marries mindfulness with the complexities of business needs, aims to create balanced, motivated leaders who inspire their teams. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Susan Thomas:

find-life-coach-susan-thomas

Name: Susan Thomas

Pillar: The Mind

Who is this coach for: Any leader who wants support and guidance to become the best version of themselves that they were born to be, an inspirational guide.

How they can help: By using various coaching tools and techniques, and a membership platform called Inspire Network where you can find knowledge, tools, and resources to reduce stress, increase motivation, boost self care, and improve work life integration.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Pandemic was a great way to pause, reflect and reframe and send me on my current journey.

It did come with some challenges (Son’s cancer) but a lot of insight and learning, which I am grateful for.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

During the pandemic, I worked with employees to ensure they stay connected with their wellbeing as well as the group (battling the isolation) and came up with innovative ways to fulfil their 6 human needs (remotely).

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

Communication: The Impact of Emotional Intelligence (Active listening, listen to understand not to reply, self reflection, self awareness, empathy and the connection of relationships to our happiness.)

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Think of me as Gandalf for leaders…

I work my soft skills magic to create environments for thriving, happy teams!

Over the past 28 years, I’ve helped thousands of leaders climb to their next level.

One of the most common questions I hear is, “What now? Where’s the manual on being a great leader?”

Traditional training often misses critical soft skills like Emotional Intelligence, effective communication, and embracing failure as a growth tool.

It’s frustrating to see latent talent lost to overwhelm and stress because leaders feel unequipped emotionally and mentally for the next step.

Did you know 1 in 3 employees leave due to bad management?

Organisations with a coaching culture have 72% fewer leavers, that’s big money saved!

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Biggest obstacle: The Power of words and the impact they can have on our lives

In my case: My coach from the age 13 to 19 demanding me to be the winner or the first loser.

This resulted in some huge limiting beliefs of not being good enough and not achieving.

I have spend the last 3 years through my human needs to get to know me and to reframe some of those limits to create new empowering beliefs.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

That’s why I created the Inspire Network membership.

For a fraction of a Netflix membership, I promise to provide the knowledge, tools, and resources to reduce stress, increase motivation, boost self care, and improve work life integration.

Imagine a happy workforce inspired to come to work with you!

I work with organisations too, who want to be creating a coaching culture for their teams.

The Inspire Network is a 5 step concept for inspirational leadership:

  1. Learn the building blocks to understand yourself and others.
  2. Build trust and excellence.
  3. Foster belonging.
  4. Cultivate leadership presence through pausing, reframing, and reflecting.
  5. Lead with a forward mindset Imagine a sanctuary of leaders of any level, a place where you’re not just a member, but part of a vibrant community.

Here, individuals driven by a shared quest for personal growth, balance, and support come together.

Picture this space as your personal empowerment hub, a treasure trove of soft skills mastery, where you learn, apply, and connect with like minded souls.

With resources at your fingertips and brainstorming sessions galore, this is where dreams take flight and journeys are transformed.

Welcome to the soft skills haven you’ve been searching for, join us and let’s embark on this journey together!

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I combine mindfulness with the complex needs of the business.

I am all about Integration and Alignment through communication.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Feeling in control of their leadership journey, balanced, motivated and supported to be creating environments where employees feel inspired to work for you.

Be the CEO of tomorrow that makes the workplace feel like a hobby.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Concept of the Mansion of the inspired Leader.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Be present, truly listen with no judgement, and see the world through others’ eyes.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

To trust my values and judge achievements through my lens.

Your final thoughts?

Without a coaching leadership style in your workplace people will waste valuable resources, talent and time as well as a lack of desire to be a leader in the future, creating a progression void.

This is The Zodiac Sign That Will Never Cheat…

When it comes to relationships, trust and loyalty are the cornerstones that hold everything together.

We’ve all heard the horror stories of infidelity and betrayal, but what if we told you there’s one zodiac sign known for its unwavering fidelity?

If you’re searching for a partner who will stand by your side through thick and thin, look no further than this astrological gem.

Taurus: The Zodiac’s Pillar of Loyalty

Taurus, born between April 20 and May 20, is often hailed as the most loyal sign in the zodiac.

Represented by the bull, Taurus individuals are known for their steadfastness, reliability, and strong moral compass.

Every Zodiac Sign has a unique energy thumbprint (strengths, weaknesses, desires and rules they are driven to follow). Taurus energy is literally forbidding them to cheat!

Let’s delve into what makes Taurus the paragon of faithfulness…

4 Reasons Why Taurus Will Never Cheat:

1. Innate Loyalty

Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love and beauty.

This influence imbues them with a deep appreciation for relationships and a desire for stability.

They value long term commitments and view their partners as life companions rather than temporary interests.

2. Strong Fear of Change

Change is unsettling for a Taurus.

They thrive in routine and predictability, making them less likely to seek excitement outside their established relationships.

The idea of cheating is antithetical to their nature as it disrupts their sense of security.

3. Unshakeable Moral Integrity

Tauruses have a strong ethical foundation.

They believe in honesty and integrity, not just in their relationships but in all aspects of life.

Cheating goes against their principles, making it an unlikely behavior for them.

4. Deep Emotional Investment

When a Taurus loves, they love deeply and wholly.

Their emotional investment in their partner is profound.

This deep bond makes them more inclined to work through issues rather than look for solace in someone else’s arms.

Taurus in Love: A Rock Solid Commitment

There is no other Zodiac Sign like Taurus when it comes to the mix of all these 4 traits.

They are literally the pillar of loyalty.

The chance of Taurus cheating on you is almost 0 and yes, of course, there are some exceptions in everything.

But the majority of Taurus people will not cheat.

If you’re lucky enough to be loved by a Taurus, cherish and appreciate their loyalty, it’s a treasure in the vast landscape of human relationships.

4 Ways How to Keep Your Taurus Happy:

1. Appreciate Their Efforts: Taurus individuals love to be appreciated for their hard work and dedication. A simple thank you can go a long way.

2. Create Stability: Help maintain a stable environment where they feel secure. Avoid unnecessary drama and surprises.

3. Be Honest: Honesty is paramount. A Taurus values straightforwardness and trustworthiness in their partner.

4. Show Physical Affection: Physical touch is crucial for Taurus. Regular hugs, kisses, and other forms of physical affection will keep the bond strong.

Share this article with your friends to spread the love and let them know that when it comes to unwavering loyalty, Taurus is the star of the show.

Whether you’re a Taurus yourself or have one in your life, celebrate the beautiful commitment they bring to their relationships.

The Dr. Dolores Show: “I’m Awake, Now What?”

By Dr. Dolores Fazzino, DNP, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Intuitive, Energy Whisperer

On this illuminating episode of The Dr. Dolores Show, viewers are invited on a journey to explore the profound question many find themselves asking upon waking up: “Now what?”

Dr. Dolores, with her characteristic warmth and wisdom, delves into the intricacies of starting the day with intention, purpose, and positivity.

With her signature blend of empathy and insight, Dr. Dolores examines the common challenges and uncertainties that accompany “the dawn of a new day”.

The Dr. Dolores Show: What Happens After The Awakening

the-dr-dolores-show-im-awake

“When you are waking up, it is like what had been your existence is no longer it is like the rug has been pulled out from you.”

Waking up spiritually is often described as a profound shift in perception.

It can feel disorienting, akin to having the familiar ground pulled out from beneath you.

This unsettling experience is the beginning of seeing the world through new eyes.

“Waking up is like seeing the truth of everything you used to believe as a lie.”

Awakening reveals the truth behind long held beliefs and assumptions.

As illusions fall away, a clearer, more authentic reality emerges, leading to a deeper understanding of life and existence.

“Waking up is like taking your power back for yourself.”

Through awakening, individuals reclaim their inherent power.

This empowerment comes from within, fostering a sense of autonomy and inner strength that was previously obscured.

Elevating Vibration and Perception

“As we raise our vibration and our frequency, we are able to see things that we were never able to see before.”

Raising our vibrational frequency enhances our perception, allowing us to access deeper truths and insights that were previously beyond our reach.

This heightened awareness can lead to significant personal and spiritual growth.

The Role of Manifestation and Energy

“We are manifesting things really quickly, and our mind doesn’t really filter if it is positive or negative.”

In the current energetic climate, manifestation occurs rapidly.

It’s crucial to maintain a positive focus, as our thoughts and intentions manifest into reality, regardless of their nature.

“When we hold onto things that energetically are no longer aligned with us, we keep ourselves stuck and small.”

Letting go of outdated energetic patterns is essential for growth.

Clinging to misaligned energies can hinder progress and keep us confined to a limited version of ourselves.

“Energy healing is a big yes. When we have blockages in our energy field, sometimes we need help from someone who can assist with that.”

Energy healing can be a powerful tool in clearing blockages and restoring balance.

Seeking assistance from experienced healers can facilitate this process, promoting overall well being.

Integration and Sharing Wisdom

“Integration is really important. The new information that you are learning integrates it into your life and leads by example.”

Assimilating new knowledge into daily life is crucial.

By embodying these insights and leading by example, we can inspire and uplift those around us.

“Share the light and wisdom you gain with others.”

Spreading the light and wisdom gained through personal growth enriches the collective consciousness.

Sharing these experiences helps others on their paths of awakening.

Befriending the Ego and Trusting Inner Guidance

“It is about befriending your ego, it is not about removing the ego.”

Rather than eliminating the ego, the goal is to understand and harmonize with it.

Befriending the ego allows for a balanced approach to self awareness and personal development.

“Trust the information you are getting from within because it is the right information for you, not your friend, not your neighbor.”

Inner guidance is unique to each individual.

Trusting this personal wisdom is key to navigating the path of awakening with confidence and authenticity.

But the exploration doesn’t stop there.

Recognizing that the journey toward personal growth is ongoing, Dr. Dolores dives deeper into the importance of staying present and adaptable amidst life’s inevitable twists and turns.

The Dr. Dolores Show: “HELP! Being Perfect Is Ruining My Life!”

By Dr. Dolores Fazzino, DNP, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Intuitive, Energy Whisperer

In this captivating episode on the Dr. Dolores Show, we delve into the struggles of individuals whose relentless pursuit of being perfect has become a burden too heavy to bear.

From carefully edited social media personas to meticulously planned career paths, people’s lives seem flawless on the surface.

However, beneath the facade lies a constant battle with anxiety, self doubt, and the suffocating pressure of impossibly high standards.

As they reach their breaking point, they find themselves trapped in a cycle of self sabotage, unable to accept anything less than perfection in every aspect of their lives.

Struggling to maintain the facade while feeling increasingly isolated and overwhelmed, they realize that their relentless pursuit of perfection has come at a steep cost.

The Dr. Dolores Show: The 7 Fold Path to Overcoming Perfectionism

the-dr-dolores-show-being-perfect-is-ruining-my-life

Perfectionism can be a heavy burden, affecting our mental and emotional well being.

It often stems from deeper psychological factors and societal pressures.

Here, we explore the 7 fold path to overcoming perfectionism, embracing self acceptance, and fostering personal growth.

1. Recognize the Energies You Absorb

We often unknowingly absorb various energies from our environments, shaping our thoughts and behaviors.

Becoming aware of these external influences is the first step in managing their impact on us.

By acknowledging how our surroundings affect us, we can better maintain a healthier mental and emotional state.

2. Understand the Deeper Issues Behind Perfectionism

Perfectionism is more than just wanting to do things right, it often hides deeper psychological issues.

One significant driver is the fear of failure, which can push us to adopt perfectionist tendencies.

This fear acts as a coping mechanism to fit in and gain acceptance from others.

Recognizing this can help us address the root causes of our perfectionist behaviors.

3. Compete Only With Yourself

Instead of comparing ourselves to others, we should focus on competing with ourselves.

Personal growth is a unique journey, and setting boundaries is essential.

By concentrating on self improvement and internal validation, we can foster a healthier sense of self worth and achievement.

4. Embrace the Shades of Grey

Life is rarely black and white, it exists in many shades of grey.

This understanding is crucial for overcoming perfectionism.

Recognizing the complexities and nuances in situations can help reduce the pressure to meet unrealistic standards.

Embracing life’s ambiguities allows us to approach challenges with greater flexibility and resilience.

5. Accept Mistakes as Part of Growth

Constant pressure to be perfect can lead to chronic stress and anxiety.

It’s important to accept that making mistakes is a natural part of learning and growing.

By acknowledging that errors are inevitable, we can alleviate some of the burdens associated with perfectionism and open the door to more meaningful personal development.

6. Patch the Hole in Your Bucket

Striving for external perfection can drain our energy and joy, creating a metaphorical hole in our bucket.

To address this, we need to shift our focus from outward appearances to inner fulfillment.

Prioritizing our well being and authentic self helps preserve our emotional resources and enhances our overall quality of life.

7. Celebrate Life

Finally, it’s essential to celebrate life and cherish every moment.

Embracing imperfections and valuing our unique journey allows us to live more fully and authentically.

Shifting our mindset from constant striving to appreciation can significantly enhance our happiness and well being.

By celebrating life and its imperfections, we foster genuine self acceptance and create a more joyful existence.

Follow this 7 fold path to transform your approach to perfectionism and unlock a more balanced and joyful existence.

“Help, Being Perfect is Ruining My Life” is a compelling exploration of the pressures of modern day perfectionism and the transformative power of self acceptance.

Self love is not merely a trendy buzzword but a profound and necessary practice that can transform how we experience life.

This article, inspired by Dr. Dolores teachings in her latest episode, delves into the essence of self love, why it is essential, and practical steps to thrive in self love.

But first, we need to…

Understand Self Love

What is self love? What do we mean when we say self love?

Self love is the practice of valuing and caring for oneself.

It involves recognizing your worth, setting healthy boundaries, and treating yourself with the same kindness and respect that you offer others.

Self love is about accepting yourself as you are, with all your strengths and imperfections, and committing to your well being and happiness.

Self love has many benefits:

  1. Practicing self love can significantly improve your mental health. It helps reduce anxiety and depression by promoting a positive self image and reducing self criticism.
  2. Self love fosters resilience, allowing you to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.
  3. It sets the foundation for healthy relationships. By valuing yourself, you establish boundaries that prevent others from taking advantage of you.

5 Steps to Thrive in Self Love:

1. Practice Self Compassion

Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a friend.

When you make a mistake, instead of harshly criticizing yourself, acknowledge that errors are part of the human experience.

Dr. Kristin Neff, a pioneer in self compassion research, also emphasizes the importance of self kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness in nurturing self compassion.

2. Set Boundaries

Boundaries are essential for protecting your mental and emotional well being.

Learn to say no to things that drain your energy and yes to what uplifts you.

In the 4th episode “Embracing Boundaries” from the Dr. Dolores Fazzino’s series on how to become your own best friend, she highlights the significance of recognizing when boundaries are crossed and offers strategies for maintaining them.

3. Engage in Self Care

Self care is a vital component of self love.

It involves taking time to nurture your spirit, mind, body, heart, without neglecting any of them.

Whether it’s through exercise, meditation, spending time with loved ones, reading, or pursuing hobbies, self care activities replenish your energy and enhance your overall well being.

In other words, make time for yourself.

4. Affirm Your Worth

Train your inner voice to be more supportive.

Usually we assign the personality of our parents or caregivers to our inner voice.

If we were raised in an environment of judgment and criticism, our inner voice will adopt these traits.

But your inner voice is YOUR inner voice.

You can reprogram it by speaking back to it.

In fact, you can speak with it if you give a little effort.

And then, it’s all a game of habit.

The more you do it the more you train it to speak like you.

Use positive affirmations to reinforce your self worth.

Statements like “I am enough,” “I deserve happiness,” and “I am worthy of love” can rewire negative thought patterns and boost your self esteem.

According to a study in Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, self affirmation activates the brain’s reward centers, enhancing self worth and resilience.

5. Surround Yourself with Positivity

And finally, the people you interact with can significantly impact your self perception.

A piece of art for some can be worthless and for others it can worth millions.

Your perceived value drops or grows depending on the perception of the people around you.

If some people can’t see your worth, they are not your audience.

Surround yourself with supportive and positive individuals who encourage your growth and well being.

Conversely, distance yourself from toxic relationships that undermine your self esteem.

Find Life Coach | Meet Olesia Sinkova: How to Solve Deep Issues Rooted In Your Subconscious Mind and Heal?

Olesia Sinkova is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her strength of character and bravery.

Her journey into coaching began as a personal quest for healing, ignited by a desire to transcend her own depression and anxiety through breathwork and yoga. What started as a means of support for Ukrainian refugees soon evolved into a profound coaching practice, rooted in spirituality, bodywork, and mindfulness.

She doesn’t just offer conventional coaching, she delves deep into the interconnected realms of mind, soul, and body, drawing from her background in spiritual practices and yoga. Through a fusion of meditation, breathwork, and kundalini yoga, she unravels the knots of past traumas buried in the subconscious, facilitating profound healing and transformation in just a few sessions.

Her approach is not only innovative but deeply personal, shaped by her own experiences of discarding ineffective methods to streamline the journey towards clients’ goals. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Olesia Sinkova:

find-life-coach-olesia-sinkova

Name: Olesia Sinkova

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Body

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to uncover and solve deep issues rooted in their subconscious mind and heal.

How they can help: By using various tools and techniques like mindfulness, breathwork, kundalini yoga, original deep healing meditations that she designed, just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

I would want to express the respect to the Pandemic times, but prefer to speak about more accurate, more up to date and more urgent topic right now: war.

Particularly in Ukraine.

This is where I come from.

My family and I were lucky to ecape the terror of a war in 21st century right in the heart of Europe.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

I would replace the “pandemic” with “war”, yes sure it crashed us all over, it hit really hard and caused the deep awakening at least in me.

Why am I here? What can I bring to the world? How can I make it a better place?

Now these questions were super urgent and clear.

I started living my true self.

I came home to myself and owned all my traumatized parts in order to walk into integrity and wholeness and help others to do the same.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The biggest lessons I learned because of war, are:

Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Life is limited and we don’t have time to live our lives for others, according to what others say.

It forced me to reevaluate everything I believed in about myself and my life and get to the core of my own purpose.

I also realized leadership is not a privilege of those in charge.

Leadership is an inborn right of any of us and it starts with self leadership, how can I navigate through life challenges and serve my highest good and highest good of all.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

This escape actually pushed me to start doing what I have always wanted to do: help people with their emotions, inner struggles and conflicts.

As soon as I was able to cut through my own depression and anxiety with the help of breath work and yoga and got certified as a kundalini yoga teacher, I started my circle of support for Ukranian refugees online.

Afterwards, it became clear I have much more to offer and people kept asking me questions so I started coaching.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

To become a leader to myself, not the follower in a wide sense of it.

Being a follower is super dangerous.

Thousands of Russian soldiers were lied into starting a war in Ukraine.

I was just wondering if people could unbecome followers and started leading for themselves for their higher good, what a world would be?

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

My attitude to coaching might seem different from various of perspectives.

I come from spiritual practices and yoga so I treat people as a complex unity of mind, soul and body.

Coaching itself might go on intellectual level, so I always include meditations and breath work to include body and soul.

It helps to untie the knots in people’s subconcious minds from the past traumas and accelerate healing.

Within 2 sessions we are able to solve long term physical problems.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I combine spiritual work, body work and mindfulness.

It was born out of my experience.

I left aside everything in coaching and therapy that didn’t work with me so that people would save time and effort and get to their goals faster.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

The most beneficial thing is that we deal with deep causes, that are rooted in the subconcious minds.

It helps to solve way more problems that meets the eye.

So it gives long term results and saves people time and money.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Yes sure I do!

Mindfulness, breathwork, kundalini yoga, deep healing meditations that I am the author of.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

You were born to be a leader.

Lead from your heart.

You can do it!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The ones learned during the war mentioned earlier.

Your final thoughts?

People often look for authorities.

I am passionate about turning people inward and help them find the authority within.
