Find Life Coach | Meet Agne Paceviciute: How to Quantum Heal and Improve Every Area of Your Life

Agne Paceviciute is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her dedication and positivity.

Her catalyst was the Pandemic. Even though a time of uncertainty for many, for her it became the catalyst for a profound journey of awakening and purpose. During a period of intense inner transformation, she discovered Advanced Quantum Healing, a groundbreaking modality created by Dick Harbers. This serendipitous connection not only provided her with tools for personal growth but also empowered her to guide others through mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual transformation.

She mastered her skills and today, she carries forward Harbers’ legacy, representing this unique process and tailoring it to unlock her clients’ potential. With a coaching style that transcends traditional methods, she integrates intuition, quantum healing, and a deep understanding of the human experience.

She helps people heal past traumas, create empowered futures, and achieve extraordinary results and she is doing that by addressing individual blocks and reconnecting clients to their true selves. From improved health to self love and purpose, her clients leave sessions ready to embrace life with newfound excitement and clarity. This is not just coaching, this is transformation on a quantum level. Here is what she said…

Meet Life Coach Agne Paceviciute:

find-life-coach-agne-paceviciute

Name: Agne Paceviciute

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Body, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to heal and improve every area of their life to become the best version of themselves.

How they can help: By using the Advance Quantum Healing method.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Pandemic didn’t affect me so negatively like many other people because I live in Sweden and the regulations were the least strict in our area.

I got to work from home and, as a hopeless introvert, I was happily distancing myself from the social gatherings.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

I just think it made people more aware that our system needs to change, more people are called for their spiritual mission to impact the world.

I think, as uncomfortable as that experience has been, if served a purpose it was one of awakening.

And yes, there is still space for improvement…

But collective energies are pushing us into a corner to really focus within, to heal our past wounds that we don’t wanna look at, to realize that we are creating this reality inside out.

I wouldn’t say that pandemic created more mental health issues, it just made it more obvious.

People were forced to sit down and pause and look at their lives.

And realizing that is far from what they want made the problems come to surface.

So in a sense the Pandemic created more clients for me.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

I think that even the worst circumstances can lead to positive results and experiences.

So no matter what’s going on in the external world you can find joy and happiness, because it comes from within.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

My coaching career started about the same time with the Pandemic.

I was going through an intense inner transformation and awakening myself and was just seeking for a tool to guide people towards that awakening as well.

A line of beautiful synchronicities led me to connect to Dick Harbers, the founder of Advanced Quantum Healing modality.

One day, I saw his post in some mindset group and reached out to him personally.

I appeared that he came online and started sharing his work for the first time just because he could no longer do his work in person because of the restrictions.

So, in a way, the Pandemic was a blessing for me because I found the most powerful modality I know to help people transform mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Long story short, he taught me all the nuances of this modality and about 3 years ago after his passing I became the face representing this modality and its unique process.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

That’s a deep question.

I think my biggest obstacle that I had to overcome was myself.

Taking responsibility for my own stuff is what allowed the change to happen.

No matter how bad experiences we face in life it all comes down to how we see ourselves in those circumstances.

Do we give up and play the victim game or do we grow into the best version of ourselves.

It’s not the obstacles that matters but our choices.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

Advance Quantum Healing is an innovation within of itself and with every client and new challenges I’m leading to create new processes to support them.

Working individually, I create tailored experiences for my clients to dissolve their blocks and resistances to creating their best lives.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

Everything.

It’s beyond coaching.

I think in one session I play many roles: a guide, a teacher, a mentor, a coach…

It’s a complex but at the same very fluid process allowing people to understand how their Human Operating System works and, when they truly master the process, the sky is the limit.

This method helps to reconnect to your true self, to heal the past traumas, to tap into possibilities now and receive the information from your future self, or create a healthy, confident, abundant version of you.

Everything is possible when you tap into the Quantum Field.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Everyone gets exactly what they need in their evolutionary journey.

It’s quite individual, but I had people rapidly improving their cancer condition (PSA levels from 211 to 32 in a couple of weeks), transforming their relationships, finding their purpose and passion in life, improving their business, liberating themselves from past traumas and limitations, and finding Self Love.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

My main tool is Quantum Healing and my intuitive abilities.

People come to me devastated and in a good hour they feel ready to tackle their lives with excitement.

I notice the words they use, I notice their eye movement, I notice things they are not aware of and that helps me guide them through a deep shift on the spot.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

People, wake up!

You are living a lie.

The negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, suffering are the illusion.

You are powerful beyond measure, you are the greatest technology that creates worlds.

Take your power back, master your thoughts and emotions, let go of all negative attachments and you will create a life you desire.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

My biggest lessons were that we are powerful beyond measure and we have no clue.

We are this most advance conscious technology and yet we barely use a few precents of our capacity.

If only for one day we would off the news and focus on the positive all together, the world would change instantly.

Your final thoughts?

My mission is to guide people through an inner transformation and provide the practical tools for self healing and liberation.

I believe that when people become self aware, loving and kind we naturally create a different paradigm of living.

My desire for everyone to become aware of who they truly are.

The magic is inside of us if we dear to look deeply.

Find Life Coach | Meet Lawrence C. Harris: How to Detect Negative Beliefs and Decode Yourself to Achieve Your Goals

Lawrence C. Harris is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with him. He impressed us with his wisdom and understanding of the power of beliefs.

He knows what he is preaching because he was the one experiencing the effect of negative beliefs for so long. For years, the feeling of being trapped (both physically and mentally) defined his journey. Struggling with the invisible chains of limiting beliefs, fear, and the weight of others’ expectations, he found himself stuck in a cycle of people pleasing and self doubt.

He decided that’s not going to be his narrative. Through deep self reflection and determination, he broke free, discovering a newfound sense of freedom that reshaped his life and purpose. “A breath of fresh air” as he says. Today, he dedicates his time and energy to helping others achieve the same transformation.

He guides clients to uncover and reprogram the “damaged code” of their inner beliefs, and reprogram it. He creates highly personalized coaching experiences that address root causes instead of symptoms. Whether it’s fears around money, body image, or self worth, his approach empowers clients to rewrite their narrative and unlock a future filled with possibility. Here is what he said…

Meet Life Coach Lawrence C. Harris:

find-life-coach-lawrence-c-harris

Name: Lawrence C. Harris

Pillar: The Spirit

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to decode themselves from negative beliefs and adopt positive beliefs that suppotr their goals.

How they can help: By using various tools and techniques to become aware of the negative beliefs and replace them with positive ones.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Before we discuss me as an Author, Public speaker and coach, I want to begin by thanking you for taking the time to read this.

I will do my best to make it worth your time and I will make sure that you walk away with valuable lessons and insights.

Regarding how me and my family managed the pandemic, we were more fortunate than most.

Being the oldest brother of four siblings at the time, the first two years of my high school experience took place behind a laptop, accompanied by the screams and noise of a big family.

For those who have not heard of cabin fever, it is the intense feeling of irritation which comes from being locked in doors for long periods of time.

I’m sure we all can remember our family driving us a bit crazy, when you had to spend 24 hours a day, for months at a time around them.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

Both me and my clients were deeply impacted by the pandemic.

It was a catalyst for me to pursue my mission of helping others to overcome their mental battles.

Being locked in, made many of my clients feel “stuck” in all areas of life.

One that came up frequently being, “I feel powerless”.

Unable to go outside, many losing their jobs, some even lost family members, they were battling issues financially, emotionally and spiritually.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The greatest lesson I learned during the pandemic is “never be alone, when you feel alone.”

What I mean by that is when you feel isolated, alone in the world and like you have nobody, avoid being physically alone.

The difference between being physically alone and feeling alone is that in the second you can be in a room full of people but still feel like nobody is with you.

Always keep a circle of people you can reach out to for support and if you do not currently have that, go find people like you to become friends with or hire a coach.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

After we finally got a breath of fresh air, both literally and metaphorically, we felt the rush of freedom in our lungs again.

I began exploring the city more, which gave me a lot of time to reflect.

Being physically trapped inside suddenly wasn’t the main issue, rather it was the feeling of mental imprisonment which followed.

I would have periods where the most basic tasks such as eating, felt like moving a mountain.

I felt like a dog trapped in an invisible cage and I wanted out, by any means necessary.

It took me years, but once I finally experienced the freedom of not being held back by limiting beliefs, fears around money and no longer being chained down by the expectations of others, I made it my mission to help others change their life by improving their beliefs.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

The biggest obstacle I’ve overcome that’s made me who I am today was my own mind.

Previously, I was deeply fearful of others’ opinions of me, I was afraid to upset people because I placed a lot of my self worth in how those I cared about felt about me.

As you’d expect, that led to a lot of people pleasing and validation seeking behaviors.

It was only when I learned to take back the power of my own self worth that I could truly begin living my life rather than surviving as a shell of my true self.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

One of the major ways which I innovate in approach, is that I guide my clients in finding the root cause rather than treating the symptom.

Picture a computer, with a damaged code.

You cannot fix the computer by changing the buttons you press, but instead you must go within to adjust the code.

Unlike what society often leads us to believe, we as people are not robots, there is a complex underlying reason why we do, think, believe and act how we do.

However, like the computer, if we are operating on damaged code, our actions will lead to a damaged outcome.

Being aware of how unique everyone is, I build your coaching program specifically around you, rather than using a one size fits all approach.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

The most unique aspect of my coaching is that I create the program specially around you and the major limiting beliefs you have.

For example, clients who have limiting beliefs around money will have a different experience from those who have limiting beliefs about their body.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

The benefits of working alongside me are the transformation of what you believe you are capable of and an improved outlook on all aspects of your life.

As mentioned earlier when discussing the power of “I am”, when we improve the limiting beliefs which are holding you back, you will see an increase in all areas of your life because they are connected to what you believe.

Take for example, improving your beliefs about money will lead to improvements in how you acquire and manage it, which then leads to the option to improve your health and living circumstances.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

I do not use any particular tools to be effective with clients, aside from a love and passion for helping those who I serve.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

You have the choice to be the victim or the hero of your story.

Is it easy to become the hero?

Nope, but is it worth the effort?

Absolutely.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

One of the greatest lessons I learned in my life is “be very careful what you say after I am”.

Imagine two identical twins wearing two different shirts, one says “I am smart” while the other says “I am dumb”…

That is what happens when you finish the phrase “I am”.

What you believe about yourself will create the results you have in your life, an example being the way the two people we mentioned above will act.

The twin who believes “I am smart” is more likely to become successful, achieve higher grades in school and live a life which lines up with their beliefs.

Likewise, the twin who believes “I am dumb” is likely to have poor grades, drop out of school, be insulted for their seeming lack of intelligence and live a life in line with “I am dumb”.

The only difference between the twins is four or five letters after “I am”.

Your final thoughts?

Regardless of if we work together, I want you to know you are loved.

Someone in your life cares and even I, someone you haven’t met, cares about you simply because you are human.

Love yourself before chasing the love of others and I wish you well.

Find Life Coach | Meet Abegayle Keener: How to Reprogram Yourself Out of Your Limits and Create a Successful Plan to Achieve All Your Goals

Abegayle Keener is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her powerful words and sincerity.

Her journey, from navigating a draining nightlife career to creating a purpose driven coaching practice, reflects her own profound personal transformation. Having officially stepped into the coaching world in 2023 after years of preparation, she now empowers women to release the past, embrace the present, and craft a vision for the future.

Her innovative and holistic approach treats every client’s life as an interconnected ecosystem, focusing not just on goals but on reshaping subconscious patterns that hold them back. Combining creative subconscious reprogramming with practical tools for organization and energy management, she helps her clients achieve lasting change.

Her work is a testament to the power of personal growth and the courage to start anew. And it wasn’t easy. She’s been through her fair share of struggles, from overcoming childhood wounds, healing grief, and silencing the inner critic. But all of these things helped shape her into the coach she is today. Here is what she said…

Meet Life Coach Abegayle Keener:

find-life-coach-abegayle-keener

Name: Abegayle Keener

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind

Who is this coach for: Women who want to reprogram themselves out of their imposed limits so they can achieve anything they want in life.

How they can help: By using various assessments, tools and techniques to evaluate the individual, gain clarity and design a successful plan for moving forward, as well as subconscious exercises to create supporting environment.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

I personally do not let what the pandemic did affect me now.

I am aware there are aspects of the pandemic aftermath that still exist that all of us cannot avoid.

I do my best to focus on what is in my control and focus on how to elevate meeting myself where I am.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

When the pandemic happened I was still putting together how I wanted to coach others and execute my own plan.

I took a huge delay by not having side work while put together my business.

Night life shut down for a bit and I had to delivery drive.

Yes, it delayed my plans.

However, I carried on building my vision and doing practice sessions.

I had to move houses during the pandemic and got scammed by a rental con artist.

That was not fun.

Other than that I was making the best of it.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The biggest lesson I learned during the pandemic was to trust my intuition.

There were events that I did not go with the crowd on and I ended up being in the right place.

There were also events where I didn’t listen to my intuition and I paid for it.

I learned to think for myself.

I also learned to get things in writing.

Even if people mean well at one point and seem trustworthy.

Getting things in writing is the right way to handle arrangements.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I got started with my coaching career officially at the end of 2023.

I launched my brand in 2024.

I started building my vision for my coaching and all the ways I wish to create impact in 2018.

All these prior years coaching for the practice and focused on developing skillsets.

After all the years of preparing, research and development.

I decided at the end of 2023 to make the plunge and take action on my dreams to become a coach.

Prior to coaching I worked in night life.

It felt very draining.

I knew I wanted to pursue a more life giving path.

I have had the coaching spirit since I was a kid as I was the oldest sibling and loved to see others succeed in school.

This year has been the most transformative year yet.

As I made the plunge I’ve had to grow as a person on a whole new level.

I’ve worked with many amazing women this year releasing the past, getting organized in their present and creating clarity around their vision!

I’m honored to be a part of all these ladies elevation in life.

Although the world has had many ups and downs throughout the years, personally, I feel my life gets better each year I get older.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

The biggest obstacle I’ve had to overcome that has created who I am today has been… healing the damage that I went through as a child, experiencing grief and not allowing how others view me to define who I am or what I do.

When I realized how much my whole life was the way it was because of what I was treated and taught as a child, I knew I had a lot of work to do.

That work completely transformed me in ways I never believed possible.

I believe that is what’s in so many people’s way.

Healing my childhood gave me inner freedom and power.

Next, grief was something I always experienced, however… I couldn’t identify it until a couple years ago.

Learning about myself and life through grief has been one of the deepest experiences I’ve ever had.

At the time I learned what grief was… I remember saying… “I think I have grief.” While I was in a salt spa, after listening to a meditation that was about grief.

At the time, I knew something was off.

It wasn’t a clear feeling though.

I’m usually really good at identifying my feelings… It bothered me I couldn’t put my finger on it.

I accidentally clicked a guided meditation for grief.

And, all of it made sense after that.

That’s when I was made aware of all the grief I was carrying in my life from my whole life.

That is when I had to start unpacking and intentionally working through the grief of the healing I had done.

Then, having experiences of loss after learning about grief, welcomed a whole new level of awareness around the topic.

Grief taught me acceptance.

Last, but not least, I used to absorb other people’s perspectives of me.

I would hear criticism, and then that would be all I see and think about myself.

I couldn’t help it.

I would behave in a way that reinforced others criticism because I would adopt their view of me.

At the time I just did not know how to see myself for my own worth and formulate my own self concept.

It was always swaying to what others were deciding I was.

One day I said no. I am not any of that and I trust my judgement.

I started to look at what was actually going on within my inner world and what my actions showed.

I was honest about where I can improve.

I started sculpting my inner self into what I valued and respected. Then, took actions that matched that.

I became who I always wanted to be and already was underneath all of the opinions that were not mine.

I embodied it.

Took action on it.

Now, I know how to handle other peoples view of me in a healthy way. These three things changed my life.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I treat each person’s individual life as an ecosystem with the holistic approach.

I believe that everything in our life contributes to the sum of our reality.

If we want different outcomes, we must look at our lives as a whole and see what we can do or become so the whole ecosystem benefits.

The unique aspect of this for my coaching is the lenses that show: we really can have it all.

Many sacrifice particular areas of themselves for another.

It rarely works out when we do that.

I strive to redefine success by meeting people where they are and developing a plan that uplifts their whole life rather than treating one symptom.

The special thing I do with my work revolves around subconscious reprogramming.

It’s one thing to have the right plan.

It’s another thing to have a brain programmed to accept that plan.

Many people’s lives would be better in an instant if it was just about having a plan… Many times it’s our subconscious that steers us away from a successful plan.

The person that we are keeps us from behaving how we wish to behave.

Yes, there are times you can behave your way into different thinking.

Other times we do need to connect to the subconscious mind in a way that helps the body carry out the best process for the individual.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

The creative and fun subconscious reprogramming methods.

In these sessions, with this work, it can get weird and silly.

It’s not conventional as of now, but it’s effective.

There is a lot of work out there in the coaching world that is very forceful and harsh.

As I do sprinkle some tough love in at times, creating a safe ecosystem for the client is #1 and I enjoy making it fun for them.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

The benefits clients get after working with me are a whole inner transformation in the way they believe, think and feel.

Subconscious work is powerful and contagious.

As we crack the codes on one thing, it ripples out into so much more.

They also benefit from the practical structure I set to achieve goals and live the lifestyle they wish.

They get organized, gain clarity and get to walk away a new person from the inside out.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

I manage expectations.

We assess their life…

See what they can dedicate to elevating themselves…

And set a structure for what we are working on.

I get the rear view mirror cleared through what is keeping them from looking forward (if that’s the case).

We go over basic educational material that helps with decision making, organization, setting priorities, stress, time and energy management.

These are basic skills I believe everyone needs to have.

I use special subconscious exercises to prime each session so they are in an open place to learn and apply later.

When you can influence someone’s mood and mind, you can help them learn in a much more fun and easy way.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Do it now and do not stop.

Reguardless of the reasoning, so many people put so much off.

People are always saying later or giving really valid excuses for not becoming or doing the things they want.

Do it right now.

Start now.

Keep starting now.

Everyday.

Put something into action.

Stop only dreaming and planning.

These days it looks like the successful people don’t do much due to social media.

It looks seamless and effortless.

I promise you, they are working their butts off or at one point did.

Many people want the result and not the process.

Many people only show the result and not the process.

Don’t listen to any of it.

Get your process mapped out and do it everyday.

You will never regret putting in the effort.

If you are going to spend a lot of time with a dream you may as well make it real by doing something about it.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The greatest lesson I’ve learned in life is: you have the power to live however you want.

You choose everyday what life means and how valuable it is.

Nothing… not the past, an “enemy”, or any amount of darkness can hold the light in you back.

You have the power to overcome it all.

The hardest thing for me to see was my own power for too long.

It is something you do have to discover for yourself on many different levels.

Sometimes life will throw something at you that makes it seem like that’s not true.

However, it’s the whole truth.

You are it.

You can influence your whole life in the way you want.

It’s also one thing to realize it and another thing to actually do it.

Your final thoughts?

I am grateful to be connecting with anyone through this article.

Every time I get a chance to share what I do and reflect on this way, it makes me a better person and coach.

Thank you for your time and effort… I am excited to keep growing and finding new ways to innovate the coaching experience.

Overcoming Anxiety: Jack’s Journey to Freedom | Case Study

“Beating anxiety changed everything for me. With support, I learned to take back control. If you’re struggling, know you’re not alone. Reach out and believe you can overcome it.” – Jack (Real name not disclosed due to confidentiality reasons)

Anxiety affects countless individuals, deeply impacting their daily lives and overall sense of well being.

It can feel isolating and overwhelming, but stories like Jack’s remind us that recovery is possible.

Jack’s inspiring journey of overcoming anxiety not only highlights the struggles but also sheds light on the pathways to healing.

Let’s delve into his story and discover the actionable steps he took to reclaim his life and find inner peace.

Jack’s Journey to Freedom:

Overcoming-Anxiety-case-study

A Bit of Background

Jack, a 28 year old software developer, had been living with anxiety for many years.

His days were consumed by persistent worry, racing thoughts, and sleepless nights that left him drained and unproductive.

Despite trying various self help techniques, he felt trapped, as anxiety steadily intruded into his personal and professional life, eroding his confidence and happiness.

“No matter how much I tried calming methods, nothing helped me. I felt even more agitated and overwhelmed,” Jack shared during one of our sessions.

His frustration was palpable, and his struggle was evident as he recounted how anxiety had started to dictate every aspect of his life.

The Challenges Jack Faced

Jack’s anxiety wasn’t limited to a single area of his life, it manifested in many forms.

Social gatherings became a source of discomfort, deviations from plans felt catastrophic, and looming work deadlines triggered overwhelming panic.

His struggle to navigate everyday responsibilities intensified as he faced sudden panic attacks and an unshakable sense of impending doom.

Anxiety had become a constant companion, sapping joy and calm from his daily experiences.

These challenges were compounded by his perfectionistic tendencies and unresolved childhood experiences, creating a vicious cycle that seemed insurmountable.

Jack’s anxiety wasn’t just a fleeting emotion, it was a deeply ingrained part of his reality that demanded a serious intervention.

The Pivotal Moment: Jack’s “Aha” Revelation

The turning point came when Jack realized that his anxiety had grown beyond what he could manage alone.

Seeking professional support became his first courageous step toward change.

Through our sessions, we explored the roots of his anxiety, uncovering buried childhood memories and a perfectionistic mindset that had fueled his fears and insecurities.

This newfound understanding acted as a catalyst for change.

By identifying his triggers, Jack gained clarity and began to dismantle the patterns that had kept him stuck.

This awareness not only brought him peace but also equipped him with the tools to approach his anxiety with renewed resilience and hope.

Jack’s Outcome and Progress

With time and consistent effort, Jack began to notice significant improvements in his anxiety symptoms.

He…

1. Learned to identify and understand his specific triggers

2. Replaced unhealthy coping mechanisms with constructive strategies…

3. Developed mindfulness practices that helped him stay grounded…

4. Built resilience and maintained patience through inevitable setbacks…

Jack’s journey was not without challenges, but his commitment to growth and healing remained steadfast.

While occasional anxiety still surfaced, he now managed it with courage and confidence, regaining control over his life and rediscovering inner peace.

When asked to share his key takeaways, Jack highlighted these three transformative lessons:

  1. Seek professional help and support.
  2. Understand the root causes of anxiety and recognize triggers.
  3. Embrace the journey with patience, perseverance, and self care.

What Jack’s Journey Teaches Us

Jack’s story is a testament to the power of seeking support and taking proactive steps toward recovery.

It underscores that anxiety, while challenging, doesn’t have to define our lives.

By confronting his fears, embracing vulnerability, and committing to growth, Jack discovered a resilience and strength he didn’t know he had.

His journey reminds us that recovery is a process, one that requires effort and self compassion.

With the right tools, support, and mindset, it’s possible to overcome even the most persistent struggles and find freedom and peace.

Self-study, or Swadhyaya, and surrender, known as Ishwara Pranidhana, are ancient practices that can transform the way we see ourselves and navigate life.

Through personal exploration and spiritual practice, these concepts unlock paths to self-awareness, growth, and healing.

The Awakening: My Journey Begins

On my trips to India, I encountered a profoundly different spiritual landscape that reshaped my understanding of consciousness.

My first visit in 2004, as a tourist, brought me to Varanasi, where I experienced the mesmerizing evening Aarti on the Ganges River.

Witnessing priests chant Sanskrit hymns and wave fire lamps in choreographed motion created a cognitive dissonance within me, it was unlike anything I’d seen in Abrahamic traditions.

This sensory shock was not traumatic but profound, stirring reflection about life and myself.

I realized that stepping into unfamiliar environments challenges deeply ingrained perceptions and can awaken curiosity.

Such transformative experiences often mark the beginning of self study.

Self Study: Discovering the Inner Landscape

Travel is often romanticized as a path to enriching experiences, but it’s not a cure all for personal struggles.

The saying “wherever you go, there you are” holds truth: it is the mindset and openness of the traveler that determines the value of the journey.

Self study, an integral part of spiritual and mental health traditions, teaches us to explore our thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Ancient practices, such as those outlined in the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, emphasize reflective awareness:

“Let attention be at a place where you are seeing some past happening, and even your form, having lost its present characteristics, is transformed.” (Patheos)

Modern therapy mirrors this principle.

Conscious Integrative Therapy (CIT), for instance, involves reliving overwhelming situations through writing, mirror work, and affirmations.

These methods help individuals process emotions, reconcile with their past, and reconnect with themselves.

Without self study, we risk becoming prisoners of our mental patterns, what some might call The Matrix.

Awareness breaks this cycle, enabling us to confront dehumanizing forces and reclaim our humanity.

The Role of Surrender: Letting Go to Grow

Surrender, or Ishwara Pranidhana, complements self-study by encouraging us to let go of limiting ego identities.

In therapeutic terms, this involves shifting from maladaptive, ego syntonic behaviors (which feel natural but are harmful) to ego dystonic behaviors (which feel uncomfortable but are healthier).

As an example, let’s take Sarah…

Sarah is a perfectionist who takes great pride in ensuring every detail of her work is flawless.

Whether it’s a report for her boss or a dinner she’s hosting, she spends hours obsessing over minor details, seeking perfection.

This ego syntonic behavior feels natural to Sarah, it aligns with her identity as someone who does things “the right way.”

However, her perfectionism often leads to procrastination, missed deadlines, and immense stress.

She struggles to start projects because the fear of not meeting her impossibly high standards paralyzes her.

Over time, this behavior strains her relationships and makes her feel stuck, as no accomplishment ever feels good enough.

One day, Sarah chooses to adopt an ego dystonic behavior: allowing herself to complete tasks at a “good enough” standard.

At first, this feels deeply uncomfortable, she worries others will judge her work or that she’ll lose her sense of control.

Despite her initial unease, Sarah discovers that meeting realistic standards allows her to finish tasks more efficiently and frees up time for other priorities.

To her surprise, her colleagues and friends appreciate her efforts just as much as before, and she feels a newfound sense of relief.

Over time, Sarah realizes that letting go of perfectionism doesn’t mean compromising quality it means making space for growth, balance, and self acceptance.

This transformation is akin to tuning a radio to a higher frequency.

While the transition may involve static and discomfort, it expands our capacity for growth and self realization.

Surrender does not imply weakness, rather, it empowers us to embrace change and align with our true selves. By letting go of outdated narratives, we create space for new possibilities and inner harmony.

The Interplay of Self Study and Surrender

Self study and surrender are interconnected.

Self study provides insight into our inner workings, while surrender allows us to act on that knowledge.

Together, they foster conscious integration, a state where mind, body, and soul work in harmony.

Therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) align with these principles by emphasizing small, actionable changes.

These changes, no matter how minor, can lead to profound shifts in how we think, feel, and behave.

“What is it that I am supposed to learn from this?”

This simple question embodies the essence of self study and surrender.

By approaching life’s challenges with curiosity and openness, we transform obstacles into opportunities for growth.

Living the Change

To live a fulfilling and conscious life, we must continually balance self study with surrender.

This journey is not about perfection but progress, learning to navigate life with awareness, compassion, and resilience.

In practicing self study, we uncover the patterns that hold us back. In surrendering, we release the grip of the ego, allowing for transformation.

Together, these practices illuminate the path toward conscious living and inner peace.

Through self study and surrender, we learn not only to survive but to thrive, embracing life with open hearts and minds, one step at a time.

9 Types of Abuse You Didn’t Know Were Abuse!

Abuse comes in many forms, and it’s not always as obvious as physical harm.

Emotional and psychological abuse can be subtle yet deeply damaging, often going unnoticed even by the victim.

Recognizing these signs is the first step to understanding and addressing abusive behavior. Below are nine types of abuse that are often overlooked but are equally harmful.

9 Subtle Types of Abuse Everyone Misses:

types-of-abuse-you-didnt-know

1. Humiliating You in Front of Others

Abuse isn’t just physical, it’s also emotional.

When someone humiliates you in front of others, they’re chipping away at your self esteem and sense of worth.

This act is designed to make you feel small and powerless, often to assert their dominance over you.

Why It’s Harmful?

Humiliation creates feelings of shame and inadequacy, making it difficult for you to assert yourself in social or professional settings.

The ripple effect of such behavior can impact your confidence in every area of life, leaving long lasting emotional scars.

How to Recognize It:

  1. Frequent belittling comments in public.
  2. Sarcastic remarks meant to embarrass you.
  3. Bringing up personal flaws or mistakes in front of others.

2. Controlling Every Aspect of Your Life

Control is a major red flag in any relationship.

When someone dictates your choices, from what you wear to who you can talk to, it’s a clear form of abuse.

Why It’s Harmful?

By controlling your actions, the abuser strips away your autonomy and independence, leaving you feeling trapped.

Over time, this control can escalate, making you feel like you’ve lost your freedom and individuality entirely.

How to Recognize It?

  1. Monitoring your phone or social media.
  2. Making decisions for you without your input.
  3. Limiting your interactions with friends or family.

3. Invading Your Personal Space and Boundaries

Healthy relationships are built on mutual respect, including respect for personal space.

When someone invades your boundaries, it’s a violation of your trust and comfort.

Why It’s Harmful?

Boundary violations can make you feel unsafe and disrespected, creating a sense of constant anxiety.

This behavior erodes trust and can make you question your ability to set and enforce boundaries.

How to Recognize It?

  1. Ignoring your requests for personal space.
  2. Overstepping physical or emotional boundaries.
  3. Repeatedly pressuring you to do things you’re uncomfortable with.

4. Constantly Criticizing You

Criticism can be constructive, but when it’s constant and demeaning, it crosses the line into abuse.

This type of behavior is aimed at undermining your confidence.

Why It’s Harmful?

Repeated criticism can lead to self-doubt and a diminished sense of self worth.

Over time, you may begin to internalize these negative comments, believing them to be true.

How to Recognize It?

  1. Frequent negative comments about your abilities or appearance.
  2. Dismissing your achievements as insignificant.
  3. Highlighting your mistakes without acknowledging your successes.

5. Making You Feel Like “The Fool One”

Gaslighting and manipulative tactics are used to make you question your reality.

When someone makes you feel foolish or irrational for expressing your feelings, they’re engaging in abusive behavior.

Why It’s Harmful?

This creates a sense of confusion and self-doubt, making it harder for you to trust your own instincts.

Over time, it can erode your ability to stand up for yourself.

How to Recognize It?

  1. Calling you “too sensitive” when you express concerns.
  2. Mocking your emotions or decisions.
  3. Twisting situations to make you feel at fault.

6. Blaming You for Their Actions

Accountability is crucial in any relationship.

When someone blames you for their behavior or mistakes, they’re deflecting responsibility in an abusive way.

Why It’s Harmful?

This tactic erodes your confidence and makes you feel responsible for issues you didn’t create.

It can trap you in a cycle of guilt and obligation, preventing you from addressing the real problem.

How to Recognize It?

  1. Statements like, “If you hadn’t done this, I wouldn’t have reacted that way.”
  2. Refusing to take responsibility for their actions.
  3. Shifting the focus of arguments to your behavior instead of their own.

7. Dismissing Your Thoughts or Feelings

Emotional invalidation is a subtle but pervasive form of abuse.

When someone dismisses your thoughts or feelings, they’re essentially saying that your perspective doesn’t matter.

Why It’s Harmful?

This can lead to feelings of isolation and self doubt, as if your emotions are unworthy of attention.

Over time, you may begin to suppress your feelings entirely.

How to Recognize It?

  1. Interrupting or ignoring you during conversations.
  2. Responding to your emotions with indifference or mockery.
  3. Downplaying your concerns as “not a big deal.”

8. Making You Doubt Yourself

Self doubt is a powerful tool in the abuser’s arsenal.

By questioning your decisions and abilities, they seek to keep you reliant on their approval.

Why It’s Harmful?

Over time, this erodes your confidence and prevents you from making independent choices.

It can lead to a constant need for validation, further empowering the abuser.

How to Recognize It?

  1. Frequent “are you sure?” statements.
  2. Undermining your ideas or plans.
  3. Questioning your ability to handle responsibilities on your own.

9. Using Sarcasm to Hurt You

Sarcasm can be lighthearted, but when it’s used to belittle or hurt, it becomes a form of abuse.

These remarks often hide under the guise of humor, making them harder to call out.

Why It’s Harmful?

Sarcasm, when used maliciously, creates a hostile environment and chips away at trust.

The repeated use of hurtful jokes can lead to feelings of inadequacy and alienation.

How to Recognize It

  1. Backhanded compliments.
  2. Jokes that consistently target your insecurities.
  3. Laughing off your discomfort as you being “too sensitive.”

Keep This In Mind…

Abuse isn’t always physical or obvious.

Emotional and psychological abuse can leave scars that are just as deep and long lasting.

I know, admiting that you are being abused can be hard.

But it’s necessary if you want to have a relationship that’s not damaging for your wellbeing.

Recognizing these subtle forms of abuse is the first step toward breaking free from their grip.

Remember, you deserve respect, kindness, and support in all your relationships.

If you recognize any of these signs in your life, consider seeking help from a trusted friend, counselor, or support group.

You can find many experts here at Life Coach Code who will hear you out and help you before you even decide to work with them.

You’re not alone, and you have the power to reclaim your life.

Building healthy relationships starts with understanding what is unacceptable and having the courage to address it.

And to be fair, nobody is perfect.

I can bet that we are all guilty for at least one of these.

But the problem is in the fact that you allow this abuse to continue.

Usually, when an abusive behavior arises, there is an immediate reaction that “it’s not ok” to behave like that from the other person.

Living with such abuse tells something different, it says that there is un underlying problem that usually steams from something within you.

You are being abused because you allow the abuse.

Maybe you feel unworthy of love, maybe you think you can never find a partner as good as them, or maybe you feel you deserve that type of behavior.

Whatever the reason is, it all starts from you.

You need to claim your unconditional worthiness to be loved that you were born with.

If you need extra help with that, consider joining the Superhuman University where you will find countless courses about healing, setting boundaries, and becoming the best version of yourself.

What Can We Learn About Suppressed Emotions from The Recent Assassination of the CEO of United Healthcare

Recent events have cast a shadow over the healthcare industry, reminding us of the profound consequences of misguided actions.

The tragedy involving the CEO of United Healthcare has left two families shattered: one mourning an irreplaceable loss, and the other grappling with the aftermath of violence.

It’s a somber moment that underscores how anger and frustration, left unchecked, can ripple outward, inflicting pain on all involved.

This heart wrenching incident is a stark reminder of the deep seated emotions that can lead someone to act in desperation.

Feelings of powerlessness and outrage against systems that seem immovable can drive people to extremes.

However, as this tragedy demonstrates, violence is not the path to meaningful change.

If anything, it serves only to perpetuate cycles of harm, leaving the root issues unaddressed.

The Futility of Destruction

Industries like healthcare often feel like unyielding giants, complex systems resistant to reform.

They can seem as indomitable as a mythical hydra: strike one head, and another emerges in its place.

The individual behind this act may have believed they were taking a stand against an unjust system.

But in reality, what has been achieved?

A family mourns the loss of a loved one, another bears the weight of their actions, and the healthcare system remains untouched, with another executive ready to fill the void.

If we want to dismantle these entrenched systems and create real change, we need to shift our approach.

The answers won’t be found in acts of destruction.

They will emerge through innovation, collaboration, and paradigm shifts.

Knowledge of Inner Peace Isn’t the Experience of Inner Peace: Why Your Personal Practice Is Vital

When you’re learning to cook, what makes you a good cook? Is it just from reading books and recipes? Or does your personal practice of cooking play the critical role?

Whether you’re learning an art, craft, sport, or any new skill, can mere learning from books or videos make you proficient? Or do you need to practice to master it?

What is true for all these pursuits is also true for inner peace.

Learning from authentic teachings about inner peace is essential, but can that alone bring you the experience of inner peace? Clearly not!

Personal practice is vital to your steady experience of inner peace.

The Three P’s of Practice:

knowledge-of-inner-peace-isnt-the-experience

There are three essential P’s that are vital for cultivating a steady practice of inner peace:

1. Practice

You need to consistently practice the techniques you’ve learned, such as silence meditation, to cultivate inner peace.

Find a dedicated spot where you can sit comfortably for your practice, this space will serve as a reminder and invitation for your daily practice.

Set aside time daily, even if just five minutes.

Turn off distractions like smartphone notifications or alarms to create a quiet space.

Follow the practice instructions diligently.

You can improvise on the technique when you are ready to do so, but not a moment sooner.

2. Perseverance

Obstacles will arise. The key is to persevere despite them.

If you’re too busy, instead of skipping your practice entirely, sit for just two minutes in silence.

Even short moments help maintain your rhythm.

If your day is stressful, remember you can always take one minute of time, take three deep belly breaths and direct your attention into silence for 30 seconds.

Sprinkle such minutes of silence throughout your day to stay connected to peace, no matter how challenging things get.

3. Patience

Cultivating inner peace takes time, and you need to trust the process. Be patient.

It’s common to want results quickly, but just as you wouldn’t expect to master pole vaulting in two weeks, you can’t expect to become a master meditator overnight.

Some days, your mind may feel restless, and it may seem impossible to tap into silence.

This happens to everyone.

Instead of getting frustrated, practice self compassion.

Be kind to yourself and know that perseverance will eventually lead to ease and flow in your practice.

Can you see why these three P’s (practice, perseverance, and patience) are vital in establishing a consistent silence meditation practice?

There’s another important aspect to developing your practice. Be child like.

Child Like Wonder, Curiosity, Trust, and Humility

Children naturally embody qualities like curiosity, wonder, and trust, qualities we often lose as adults.

Returning to these traits is crucial for a fulfilling inner peace practice.

Let me tell you a story adapted from the parables of the great awakened Master, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa:

A poor man met a monk and asked for teachings to improve his life.
The monk said, "Love God with all your heart."
The man responded, "I don’t know God, how can I love Him?"
The monk asked, "Who do you love the most in your life?"
The man replied, "I live alone, but I love my sheep."
The monk said, "Then love your sheep deeply, and remember that God’s Presence is within your sheep."
Years later, the monk met the man again and inquired about his life.
The man replied, "Everything is wonderful. I feel God’s Presence within my sheep, and it has made my life fulfilling."

What child like faith this poor man had!

Even though his material circumstances hadn’t changed, his life experience transformed because he trusted the monk’s guidance.

Today, we’re so conditioned by intellect and education that we’ve lost touch with this simple faith.

We’re locked into our beliefs, expectations, and judgments.

We want understanding before experience, when in fact, experience often precedes true understanding.

Take for instance the statement: “Peace is the experience of Presence.”

This is pointing to something deep and sacred.

Can you make room for some child like trust to follow this pointer to the experience of peace?

Can you cultivate curiosity to observe the experience without judgment?

Can you return to wonder, experiencing peace without labeling it?

Keeping Your Practice Fresh

Routine practice is important, but routine experience can make the practice feel stale.

Every time you sit down to practice, approach it with child like wonder, as if you are practicing for the first time.

Come into your practice with a curious, open mind.

You’ll notice that the experience of peace is fresh, every single time.

There’s nothing routine or stale about this fresh experience of peace.

Peace is ever present and unchanging, yet each experience of peace is fresh.

This freshness is yours to experience when you let go of preconceived ideas and allow peace to be as it is, approach it with a beginner’s mind, every time.

Embracing the Journey

Your practice of inner peace is not about achieving perfection, it’s about being consistent, patient, and persevering to overcome obstacles or challenges.

It is about approaching each session with child like curiosity and wonder.

This is the way to truly experience the secrets of inner peace.

So, develop your practice like this.

As you embrace your journey into inner peace, the fruits of it will surely unfold in your experience.
