What is The Biggest Thing ?

They say that if we go up in space and observe The Globe the way we perceive our world will change. This is because we see Earth as it really is, borderless. The act of seeing something so big appear so small makes us realize how tiny we actually are. But speaking of size, what is the biggest thing there is?

First of all, let’s understand what size means. The relative extent of something is what we call “Size”.

“Relative” means that the thing we measure is compared to something else therefore if there are no other things to compare with the term “Size” wouldn’t exist; it would not have any Meaning Attached to It.

Comparing Objects-Opposites Page (Example)However, being the complicated beings we are we tend to simplify other things. We invented, and still invent, different categories and elements which are members in those certain categories.

We have done this so we would ease our job to learn, use and remember. When we stumble upon something new we almost unknowingly assign it to the most fitting category depending on its attributes. To do this we need to compare.

We compare an object, sometimes even a subject, by certain aspects including impact and size.

When we speak of how big something is both aspects may give us the answer because sometimes even something small can have a big impact on our lives and we address it as a big thing for us.

Elephant vs AntBut, when we look into what determines “what is big” we see that it actually depends on the size of the observer. Something big for the ant is pretty small for the elephant, however that thing could have a bigger meaning for the elephant than the ant.

Size is relative but what we always take in consideration when we answer “what is big?” is the impact that thing has on us.

Scientifically speaking, we measure size by certain measurements like meters, nanometers, miles, kilometers, sometimes we take even other objects like The Earth or our Galaxy…..

The smallest thing we know of is Neutrino, by new discoveries it may actually be the Higgs Boson. The biggest thing we know of is, well….. The Observable Universe.

Sliding from the smallest to the biggest known thing we realize that we can always go deeper and discover smaller and bigger things.

The Universe is always expanding and even if the biggest thing is The Universe, there are probably other universes we can compare it with and we’ll never know How Many Multiverses There are.

Big vs SmallThe concept of “big” and “small” we installed in our minds is actually false. There are no big or small things there are just bigger and smaller. There is no ultimate because we live in the infinite. The ultimate exists only in our minds – the place where we compare all of the things.

This means that At The End of The Day, the size of the thing we compare is not as important as the impact that thing has for us, individually.

101

You probably wonder what 101 means (it’s not about Dalmatians). 101 is a symbol and like any symbol it represents a meaning, a mix of emotions supporting an idea.

101 can be anything for you; it can be the number of girlfriends you had, the number of songs you know how to play on a guitar and, like me, it can be the numbers of articles you’ve written on your blog/website.

I’ve written 101 articles for Life Coach Code, well.. I am writing the 101st article at the moment and I got to tell you, it feels as exciting as the 1st one.

But what’s so special about 101, why not 100? First of all I want to explain why I choose to write a whole article on Life Coach Code about writing the 101st article on Life Coach Code (Life Coach Code-ception).

“Every great journey starts with a single step” – the saying goes. Everything we want to accomplish; every dream we want to fulfill; everything we want to become we build by putting one tile at a time.

Starting with my 1st article and now looking back from my 101st seems like a long journey, a journey I would have never started if I knew its difficulty. But, that’s the beauty of going towards the direction you want to be at.

When we focus on what we want, what we truly want from the depths of our soul, we blur everything in between. That’s all we need, that strong spiritual desire to be somewhere or become someone. That’s all we need to start walking that journey.

We don’t see its difficulty because we don’t focus on it. We focus on where our heart points and we just follow that rabbit not knowing how deep is the rabbit hole.

Our love for our dream is stronger than any possible fear we may stumble upon. Our love for our dream gives us courage to face those fears and go beyond them, to see that they are only illusions and move past them, to disable them from shifting our focus.

That action of facing our fears is what actually improves us; that is what creates who we want to become.

That’s Why We Need Fear. Fear is not bad! Fear is just a door, a filter that separates the brave ones from the cowards. Fear punishes the cowards and rewards the brave ones.

What we get from going beyond our fear is what we’ve always wanted, deep inside our heart. We may not be aware of that but the fact that we fear something is a proof that we love something that fear defends. That’s the other side of the coin.

Going beyond our fear gets us to the other side, where what we love is. We may not be aware of this but being afraid means loving something enough we are not able to face losing it.

But here is the trick. When we face our fear – the thing we think can rob us from what we love – we realize that we are a lot stronger to let something like that take away what we love. Realizing this we see fear as it really is, an illusion created by the doubt of our true potential.

We are stronger than we doubt ourselves to be and when we realize this we become worthy of having what we truly love because we are strong enough to defend it by ourselves, not with fear.

That’s the whole point of the journey, to face all of the fears and get to where you wanted to be. Going through all of that makes you a better person; it is an improvement customized only for your own needs. However, the journey doesn’t end there.

Life is a journey, there is no finish line or a start line, we just steer ourselves towards our desired destinations and that’s what we call “start-finish”. In reality there is no “start-finish”, there is no beginning or end, everything is continuous.

That’s why I choose to write about the 101st article instead of circling the 100th. I “started” this journey long before I wrote the 1st article and I’ll continue to walk it long after I finish writing 100 articles.

I’m not where I want to be but I am walking towards there with every single moment. I have reached certain places I wanted to reach, I became who I wanted to become but there is always something more.

There is always somewhere else, there is always another segment you want to improve of yourself an that’s the greatness of this never ending journey. There is always another dream to fulfill.

101 is a symbol of walking towards your dreams and knowing that there is no finish line.

P.S. My dear friend started his own website recently. He is more focused in teaching the art of success by writing articles on his website Simple Capacity. I believe that he will too reach his “101” soon. Slowly but steady we keep growing and becoming The League of Websites that will change the world. We will change the world but only through you my loving readers, only if you unlock your hidden potential through our messages.

Leonardo DaVinci: “Everything Connects to Everything Else”

Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci was born April 15, 1452 at a small town called Vinci in Republic of Florence. Leonardo was an Italian Renaissance polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer. He died at the age of 67 on May 2, 1519.

He became famous mostly for his paintings. However, he had something only very few people in the world can enjoy and that’s an infinite imagination. His extremely logical perception of the world made him mysterious and his curiosity gave him the title of “The Renaissance Man”. The one thing, probably the essence of his genius, was his superhuman sense of connecting 2 opposites and creating a whole.

“To develop a complete mind: Study the art of science; study the science of art. Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else” – Leonardo DaVinci

Art vs. ScienceThe brilliance of this quote is also separated in 2 parts. The first part, “To develop a complete mind: Study the art of science; study the science of art.” speaks of taking 2 opposites and entangling them together in order to create a complete vision of the whole.

When we step back and try to see the “bigger picture” we realize that everything is a game of opposites. We live in the world of duality.

However, the essence of each opposite lies at its opposite’s core. In other words, look at the Ying Yang symbol and see that the essence of light lies at its opposite’s core – that little white dot in the midst of darkness – and vice versa.

Only by using light to understand darkness and using darkness to understand light, we can get to know the essence of both opposites, the reason of their existence.

Only by knowing the wholeness of both sides we can realize that they are actually one “coin”. Only by knowing the wholeness of a thing, we can go beyond and use it with its true potential.

We live in a world of duality but our purpose is to find opposites, connect them and create oneness. Our passion should be using the illusion of separateness to create new wholes.

Everything ConnectsWe must “Learn how to see.”, as the second part of this quote says, “Realize that everything connects to everything else”.

Life is the art of The Universe. The entanglement of energies anchored by Matter, limited by time-space, interacting between certain forces and creating their own, unique colors with the illusion of separateness is like an image painting itself.

Art of LifeWe are all connected to everything else and everything else is connected to us. Our past, present and future are all merged into one dot we call now.

We are limited by forces and we experience separateness so we can understand The Whole from every angle and go beyond together, as unity.

The forces and laws we play with are in perfect harmony with each other. Their only rule is balance and Nature never tolerates misbalance.

“Nature never breaks her own laws” – Leonardo DaVinci
