All people have some kind of talent. Most people have ordinary talents, few people have extraordinary talents, and then, there are people like this kid.

Que Jianyu, 13, from Fujian in China, trained for two years before attempting to break the World Guinness Record for solving Rubik’s Cubes while juggling.

Frankly, I didn’t even know this is humanly possible, not yet something in the World Guinness Record list that people can aim to achieve.

During the show, Que and his master, Ye Jiaxi, also broke the record for fastest team time to solve a Rubik’s Cube with a time of 25.63 seconds, 3 seconds faster than the previous.

But the challenge that left many viewers in awe was the challenge to solve 3 Rubik’s Cubes while juggling.

Beforehand Que had 15 seconds to examine the three cubes and to calculate his movements. The cubes were randomly shuffled. After these 15 seconds he started juggling.

He continuously threw the three cubes in the air, quickly turning his fingers to solve the puzzles as they landed in his hands before throwing them into the air again.

The people in the audience, the judges, even the viewers of the video say that his fingers were moving so quickly solving the Rubik’s Cubes it was almost too fast for the eye to see.

Here is a video of this spectacular performance that proves humans have so much potential within that we can’t even imagine what we are capable of doing if we train hard enough.

And maybe it’s an understatement to say that this kid had a talent. We are underestimating this kid’s will and heart by saying he had a talent.

Because no matter how much talent you have, this kind of skill demands serious training. It’s a skill you have to craft every single day, and that takes will, a conscious effort.
