What is comedy? What does it mean to make other people laugh?
We usually take comedy for granted. We see it as a form of play, as something not crucial and not very important. We can survive without comedy, right? But comedy is much nobler. Comedy is essential part of humanity just like having faith in something is. And yes, atheists still believe in something.
Once, a wise person said: “Spiritual work is the act of taking away suffering.” Comedy, therefore is a spiritual work, and a crucial tool of spirituality too.
