Emotions and feelings differ in the perspective from what they are observed. They are actually the same occurrence, but an emotion is a label put on the sensations that is more mentally understood, while a feeling is a more energetic approach that can be describing the different sensations constructing it.
In reality, without any labels, what we feel are different sensations. These sensations are actually how our energy responds to outer and inner stimuli. They are the real letters of the message our soul shares through a language that our heart speaks. However, when they occur, they often have patterns, and these patterns have been given labels we call emotions and feelings.
So in a way, an emotion or a feeling, is a collection and pattern of sensations that holds specific meaning. They are collection of words that create a meaningful message.

Each emotion has one of 4 of the main purposes of its existence:
- It gives more energy because what you do is benefitial for your soul’s wellbeing and you should do more.
- It reduces energy because something might not be aligned with your soul’s wellbeing and you should do less of it.
- It directs energy toward something that is beneficial for your soul and your truth.
- It pushes you away from something that might be harmful to your soul and your truth.
Anger ๐ก
(aggression, rage, annoyance, exasperation, irritability, argumentativeness, rebelliousness, vengefulness, fury, hostility, madness, resentment, stubbornness)
Protects your boundaries, tells you what and when your needs were not met.
Use anger to learn your boundaries and needs.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What am I really protecting, OR what am I afraid of?
- What need is not met, what boundary is crossed and by who?
- How to better protect this boundary or meet my need?
Fear ๐ฑ
(anxiety, apprehension, dread, fright, terror, vigilance, insecurity, intimidation, panic, paranoia, worry, trepidation, nervousness, horror, avoidance, rumination, hesitation, worry, avoidance)
Protects you from possible danger, shows you the limits of your comfort zone.
Use fear to learn your limits and as a compass for growth and freedom.

- How real is the threat I am scared of?
- How dangerous is the thing I am afraid of?
- What can I do to protect myself without retreating?
Happiness ๐
(ecstasy, humor, fun, rejoice, laughter, bliss)
Signals you that something resonates with your truth.
Use happiness to learn more about your right way of living.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What am I doing right?
- What am I really happy about?
- What can I do to feel like this again?
Joy ๐
(amusement, playfulness, fun)
It lets you know about something between your true self and passion, something untouched by fear giving you more energy than you spend.
Use joy to learn about the things that relieve you from fear and give you emotional energy.
Questions to ask yourself:
- Why do I enjoy doing this?
- What gives me similar feelings?
- What am I passionate about in this?
Disgust ๐คข
(dislike, aversion, distaste, repugnance, revulsion, abhorrence, loathing, contempt, disdain, reluctance)
It lets you know that there is something you can’t or don’t want to resonate with.
Use disgust to sense the limits of your individuality.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What is toxic in the thing I am disgusted about and doesnโt resonate with me and never will?
- Why is this particular thing toxic to me?
- Whatโs the opposite of this thing?
Excitement ๐
The thing that you are about to do means a lot to you.
Use excitement to discover what means most to you and sense your purpose.
Questions to ask yourself:
- Why does this thing mean so much to me?
- What will it be even more exciting?
- Why do I want to do this thing?
Anxiety ๐ฐ
An alert that you need to slow down because there is a question you need to give attention to or need to answer before you do something.
Use anxiety to slow yourself down and rethink the right way.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What especially gives me anxiety?
- What do I need to answer or learn before I do this thing?
- What can I do to prepare and protect myself fully for this thing?
Sadness ๐
Gives you a sense of your emotional depth about something you care about and signals you that you should accept or change something in your life to start resonating with the truth of who you are.
Use sadness to feel your depth and see what truly matters to you.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What really makes me sad about this thing?
- Can I do something about it?
- What will I learn from this and what will it always stay with me?
Shame ๐
It highlights the aspects of yourself that you abandon or do not accept so you can fix them or accept them in order exercise your true power.
Use shame to find what prevents your true power.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What am I really ashamed about?
- What does it say about me?
- What will the best version of myself do?
Envy ๐
It lets you know the exact desires of your heart.
Use envy to discover what you truly want.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What am I envious of?
- How would I feel if I had these things I am envious of?
- What can I do to acquire these things for myself?
Love ๐
It’s the truth of who you are.
Use love to express it into your world.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What do I love exactly?
- How the things that I love complete me?
- What stops me expressing this love OR How can I express and experience more of this love?
Depression ๐ญ
It signals you that you need to make a change, that you need to have an introspection and that there is something you want to tell yourself so you can work on yourself, grow and create room for happiness.
Use depression to explore your inner world and reconnect with you.
Questions to ask yourself:
- If you can tell yourself something brutally honest what will it be?
- What are the things you avoid facing, whatโs your greatest fear?
- What small changes can you make right now to get back into happiness?
Resentment ๐

It lets you know that there is something others did you do not like and is not resonating with your truth you want to tell others but you hold it to yourself.

It signals you that you are doing something, or you have done something that’s resonating with your code of honor and idol, this can also apply with something you identify with.
Use pride to see the traits that can make you the best version of yourself.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What exactly makes me proud about this and what do I honor about it?
- Who of my idols has done a similar thing and why does it make me respect him?
- How can I embody more of these traits that make me proud?
Compassion ๐
It signals you that there is some part of yourself you find familiar with another person and you want to connect with it.
Use compassion to reconnect with yourself through other people, guide and acknowledge these parts within you.

- What part of myself do I recognize within this person?
- What would I have liked this person to let me know if it was the other way around?
- How can I acknowledge and nurture this part within myself?

It signals that there are things you need to face within yourself so you can reconnect with your true self.
Use apathy to find your reason for living and recalibrate.

- What are you running away from and fear facing, what makes you fear living?

It’s a default state of being.

- How can I implement these elements to make myself experience more of this feeling?

It lets you know that there are amazing things outside of your default paradigm and perception you did not know exist.
Use amazement to expand your view of reality and awaken your sense of wonder.

- What exactly amazed me about this experience?
- What belief or assumption was broken by this moment?
- How can I invite more wonder into my daily life?
Hate ๐
(Vengefulness, Despise)
It lets you know the thing you think opposes the truth of who you are and prevents you from love.
Use hate to understand what feels threatening to you, your love, and your core identity, what oposes your love and why it must be transformed or released.
Questions to ask yourself:
- What truth about myself do I feel is being attacked?
- Why does it opose my love, why does this provoke such a strong rejection in me?
- What would love do in this situation?
Respect ๐
(Admiration, Adoration, Appreciation)
It lets you know about qualities in someone or something else that you honor and would like for you and other people to embody because they resonate with your truth and what you stand for.
Use respect to identify the values you want to cultivate and encourage in the world.

- What qualities in this person or thing do I admire deeply?
- How can I develop or live more aligned with those qualities?

It lets you know about gifts of life you are given.
Use gratitude to ground yourself in abundance and shift your energy toward receptivity and joy.

- What am I truly grateful for right now?
- How can I express this gratitude more fully?
- What does this gratitude reveal about what I value most?

It letโs you know about actions you have made not in alignment with the moral code you honor to exercise your energy fully without harming yourself or others. Itโs a compass that letโs you know what is deserving and what is not, a judge that decides what kind of energy you are allowed to give and receive and what you are not allowed.

It lets you know what is good for your spirit and what your spirit is attracted to.

- Does this desire align with my highest good?
- What steps can I take toward fulfilling this in a healthy way?

It lets you know some of your needs were fulfilled.
Use satisfaction to acknowledge your progress and reinforce whatโs working.

- What need was fulfilled that brings me this satisfaction?
- What actions or choices led to this feeling?
- How can I create more of this fulfillment regularly?
