Nathan Udoh is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with him. He impressed us with his innovativeness and passion.
He is a former NHS nurse with 17+ years of experience across clinical, educational, and management roles, who later transitioned into coaching after a major personal and professional turning point that led him to build his own brand, Outvara Limited, focused on emotional regulation, identity strength, and performance enhancement.
He combines his medical and educational background with business training and personal development work to help entrepreneurs and professionals understand how their mindset, nervous system, and beliefs directly shape their results, especially in high pressure environments where clarity and emotional control are essential.
He integrates coaching with music, spoken word, and sound based tools through his “Outvara Flow State Sound System,” creating a unique approach that helps clients regulate emotions, reprogram limiting beliefs, and enter focused flow states that improve both personal wellbeing and professional performance. Here is what he said…
Meet Life Coach Nathan Udoh:

Name: Nathan Udoh
Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Heart
Who is this coach for: Entrepreneurs and high performers who struggle with emotional regulation, limiting beliefs, and lack of clarity, and want to improve their mindset and performance through a creative, music based coaching approach.
How they can help: Through music driven flow state systems, coaching audios, spoken word, perspective shifting mindset work, and belief reprogramming techniques designed to regulate emotions and enhance focus and identity.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these “crazy” times?
We are doing okay.
There are unsettling events happening in the world right now, but my family and I steady ourselves in faith, courage, and love.
I zoom out and seek perspective every day so I do not become overwhelmed with matters outside my control.
It is then that I gain inner peace, clarity, and lean into hope.
How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
I had not set up my coaching business at that time, but I was working as a clinical educator.
I had to train hospital staff for ward duties as many staff members were deployed to other clinical areas because of the demand from the coronavirus patients.
It was a hectic time, but I enjoyed the team spirit with my colleagues as we worked effectively together.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
I am a former registered nurse.
I worked in the NHS for 17 years in clinical, educational, and management roles.
Particular highlights included being an Honorary Teaching Fellow at the University of Manchester.
I taught communication skills to medical students, including verbal and nonverbal cues, body language, and active listening.
In 2019, I studied for an Executive Business Management Degree Apprenticeship at Manchester Metropolitan University.
I became a Chartered Manager in 2021 after achieving first class honours.
From early 2022, I worked as a programme manager in the NHS.
I decided to set up my own business and brand at the start of 2026, Outvara Limited, following a very protracted and traumatic work situation that badly affected my mental and physical health.
I no longer wanted to be in employment and wanted to forge my own path by working on my own terms to serve and coach people.
I am also a musician.
I play piano and I am a singer songwriter.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
Recovering from a major mental health and physical setback in 2023 inspired me to set up my own brand and business in 2026.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned overcoming your greatest obstacle?
The seasons you find yourself in are always temporary.
Never give in.
Never give up, but keep persevering.
Trust the timing.
Everything comes to you at the right time.
Zoom out and gain perspective.
You may see the intense detail, but there is a bigger plan for your life being worked out.
If you are a good person, goodness will always follow you in some way, shape, or form.
The people who wrong you are often projecting their insecurities onto you.
Do not accept them, but move on.
Surround yourself with people who defend you in rooms you are not in.
Find time to rest, relax, and recuperate, even if you enjoy your work.
Just be nice.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
I innovate through reading regularly.
Gaining knowledge from reputable sources helps me test information and apply it to my mindset, attitude, and products.
An example of this was in May 2024 when I read Rob Moore’s bestselling book “Money: Know More, Make More, Give More.”
Reading this book was the start of reconditioning my limiting beliefs about money and wealth.
Over the last two years, I have reprogrammed my subconscious mind toward abundance, wealth, and prosperity.
I bring this approach into my products for clients.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
My coaching uses words and sound, including professionally produced original music, to help entrepreneurs gain mental clarity, strengthen their identity and decision making, and regulate their emotions.
This helps enhance both their business performance and overall life.
My product, “Outvara Flow State Sound System,” is a forty to fifty track collection featuring ten mastered songs, ten instrumental tracks, ten coaching audios with music, ten coaching audios without music, and a twenty piece spoken word collection.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
They receive new content every month from my product that can help improve cognitive work performance, clarity, and regulation of the nervous system.
My music is unique, blending Vocal House with hip hop.
My lyrics also challenge clients by giving them new perspectives that do not conform to the status quo.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
I use creative tools such as lyrics, including rap, musical instruments, coaching audios over instrumental music, and the option for clients to listen to coaching audios without music.
I also post thought provoking articles on social media every day.
My themes include presence, wealth, money, spiritual safety and protection, empowerment, and success.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
You can be anything you want to be.
This world is yours and it has no fee.
Make the most of everything.
You are worth it, so try anything.
You were made for more than this.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
Always be aware of your pride.
Have a healthy fear of pride and stay humble.
The further you progress in life, the lower you should stoop in service to others.
