Jude Hunkar is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her resilience and passion of helping others.
She has faced loss, uncertainty, and addiction, yet chose to rise stronger instead of letting those challenges define her. When her business collapsed and her relationship with alcohol reached a breaking point, she transformed her pain into purpose. Her journey is proof that even in our darkest moments, growth and resilience are possible.
She is now a Rapid Transformational Therapist who blends proven techniques with compassion, creativity, and her own lived experience. Every client is seen as a unique soul, guided through safe and nurturing sessions that uncover the root of their struggles and open the door to lasting freedom.
She is also the creator of The Authentic Sobriety Method, a one hundred day program that helps people not only break free from alcohol but also reconnect with their true selves. Her work is dedicated to showing others that healing and transformation are not only possible but closer than they think. Here is what she said…
Meet Life Coach Jude Hunkar:

Name: Jude Hunkar
Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Heart
Who is this coach for: Anyone, especially people struggling with alcoholism and addiction, who want to liberate themselves from the shackles of these destructive patterns and come back to their happy and authentic selves.
How they can help: By using various RTT tools and techniques like hypnosis, affirmations, journaling, guided meditations and visualizations, as well as her Authentic Sobriety Method framework, just to name a few.
First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?
We are doing really well, thank you.
It took us a while to overcome the stress and uncertainty of it all, but we have come through it stronger, wiser, and far more resilient than before.
As a family, we learned to slow down, to appreciate each other, and to adapt to change in ways we never thought possible.
We have definitely become closer as a result.
How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
I was not practicing yet during the pandemic, but it deeply shaped me.
Back then, I worried constantly about my loved ones, about losing them, and about what the future held.
I went through a very dark period during the first lockdown, when my relationship with alcohol worsened.
But something unexpected also happened.
Out of that darkness, I found writing.
I began sharing poetry on my Facebook page, Barefoot Blonde Poetry.
And I made life changing decisions, like leaving London behind and moving my family to the countryside.
So while those times were challenging, they also planted the seeds of the new life I live now.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
I will never forget watching the first WHO press conference, when they said: “Make no mistake, this can make you or break you.”
That line stayed with me.
I told myself: “This will never break me.”
But the truth is, it did break me, twice.
First, during the initial lockdown, and again when I confronted my relationship with alcohol.
Yet each time I broke, I also had the opportunity to rise, stronger, wiser, and more powerful than before.
So my lesson is this: Do not fear breaking.
Sometimes it is in the breaking that we find our greatest strength.
And another lesson, alcohol is never the answer.
The Origin:
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
Over three years ago, my husband and I lost our oil and gas servicing company, and overnight both of our incomes disappeared.
It was a devastating moment, and with savings running out and no job prospects, I knew I had a choice.
Either find another nine to five job to survive or finally create something new, something meaningful, something I had been looking for my whole life.
I had always felt a deep pull to help people, especially those feeling lost, but I did not yet have the tools or expertise.
One night, in one of my darkest moments, I asked the universe for a sign.
Later that evening, while looking for a bedtime meditation for my daughters, a YouTube advert appeared.
It was Marisa Peer, inviting me to train with her as a Rapid Transformational Therapist at Rushton Hall in September 2023.
Without hesitation, I registered.
When I was interviewed, they told me I would be perfect for this career, but of course, there was the twelve thousand pound course fee, money I did not have.
I told them honestly that I did not know how, but I would find a way.
The very next day, a close friend I had not seen in six years came to visit.
I shared my excitement and my obstacle with her.
To my shock, she told me she had inherited some money and wanted to lend me the full amount so I could step into what I was born to do.
That was the beginning of my journey.
I threw myself into the training, graduated within six months, and started working with clients in March 2024.
For a while, I worked a side job alongside my business, but by September 2024 I was able to make this my full time career.
Since then, I have specialized in addictions, particularly alcohol use, but I also work with clients across all areas of limitation, whether that is anxiety, self worth, fears, confidence, or relationships.
I also created a unique one hundred day program called “The Authentic Sobriety Method“ to help people not only stop drinking but also reconnect with their true authentic selves and create a life of freedom and joy.
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
Without a doubt, stopping drinking.
I always wondered what life would be like without alcohol, but I could not remember.
When alcohol began to overwhelm me, I knew something had to change.
I tried many times, in many ways, but nothing worked until I found RTT.
RTT helped me break free, not just from drinking itself but from everything alcohol represented, the false escape, the self sabotage, the emotional baggage.
Today I have been alcohol free for over a year, and it feels nothing short of incredible.
Sobriety gave everything back that I lost without realising while I was drinking.
It gave me back.
And now I help my clients do the same.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) is incredibly powerful on its own, but what makes my approach unique is how I blend it with my own and my clients’ experiences, insights, and creativity.
Being a writer allows me to create deeply personal and empowering recordings, meditations, bespoke tools, and affirmations that speak directly to my clients’ hearts and subconscious minds.
I see every client as a unique soul, not a problem to fix.
My sessions are filled with love, care, and compassion.
Therapy with me is not clinical.
It feels safe, nurturing, and transformative.
I often compare it to caring for a plant, watering it, nurturing it, giving it the right conditions, and watching it bloom into its full beauty.
I love plants too, and that is exactly what I do with my clients, who are all very special to me.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
My therapy goes beyond techniques, it is deeply personal, heart led, and holistic.
I do not just help people stop drinking or break bad habits, I help them understand the root cause of the behaviour and uncover the limiting belief that is driving it.
You cannot heal what you do not feel, and you cannot fix what you do not understand.
So when we uncover why they behave the way they do, that opens the door to healing.
I also help them reconnect to who they really are beneath the patterns, pain, and behaviours.
I help them find freedom, love, joy, and happiness.
RTT provides the foundation, but I bring in empowerment practices, embodiment work, writing, creativity, and my own lived experience.
Clients often tell me they feel seen, heard, and deeply understood in a way they never have before.
That is the power of combining expertise with genuine care and authenticity.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
Clients often describe their transformations as life changing.
They gain freedom from alcohol, addictions, limiting beliefs, and habits, but also much more.
- A sense of empowerment, self love, and clarity.
- Confidence in themselves and their future.
- Emotional healing and inner peace.
- A stronger connection to their authentic self.
- The ability to thrive, not just survive.
Ultimately, they walk away not just free from what held them back, but also liberated to step into a joyful, purposeful, and fulfilling life.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
Yes, I combine RTT with a variety of tools to make the transformation lasting and practical.
These include:
- Personalized transformational recordings.
- Guided meditations and visualizations.
- Empowering affirmations and journaling prompts.
- My one hundred day Authentic Sobriety Method framework.
- Ongoing support and accountability.
These tools help clients not only heal the root cause but also rewire their subconscious, create new habits, and embody their new identity.
I also have an RTT toolbox, which includes powerful methods such as:
- Dialogue with the Hurter
- Role, Function, Purpose, Intention (RFPI)
- The Child Upgrade
- And many more
These tools allow us to get to the root cause of an issue, reframe it, and release it at a subconscious level.
But what makes it truly powerful is that I do not use a one size fits all approach.
I create personalised tools and processes for each client, specifically designed and created for their journey.
We use these under hypnosis to heal the root cause of their problem, remove and upgrade the limiting belief.
This means every session is tailored specifically to their healing, their breakthrough, and their transformation.
The Impact:
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
You are not broken.
You are not powerless.
Everything you need to heal, to rise, to transform is already within you.
Stop searching outside, come home to yourself, and you will discover a freedom and joy you never thought possible.
You are enough, you are whole, you are perfectly imperfect.
All you seek is within you, it just needs to be awakened.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
That I can do anything I put my mind to…
And that life is not happening to us, it is happening FOR us.
Even when things look or feel bad, they are guiding us towards something greater.
Having certainty that everything is good is key to living a fulfilling life.
Knowing, even when times are hard, all that is happening is for our greatest growth.
Your final thoughts?
I believe with all my heart that we are here to grow, to rise, and to step into the fullest expression of who we are.
For me, sobriety was the doorway into my own freedom and authenticity, and now it is my mission to guide others through that doorway too.
No matter where you are on your healing journey, RTT can give you fast and effective results and answers to questions you have had your whole life.
