471

Tywanah Evette is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her bravery and strength of character to transform her pain into purpose.

She is the founder of Black Butterfly Goddess and a fourth generation intuitive healer whose life’s work was born from the ashes of her own pain. Tywanah Evette is a Spiritual Strategist, Trauma Recovery Facilitator, Women’s Advocate, and psychic medium who turned her survival story into a sacred mission to help others heal. After enduring childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and deep emotional trauma, she chose not only to survive, but to rise. Guided by spirit and the legacy of her late mother, Mama Lorraine, Tywanah has become a powerful force in helping women reclaim their voices and step into soul led sovereignty.

She is the visionary behind global movements like the HealHER Summit, Reclaiming HER, the WHY Movement, and RISE & Reclaim… initiatives that create safe, sacred spaces for women to heal, speak their truth, and rediscover their power. Tywanah blends ancestral wisdom, oracle readings, somatic healing, and trauma-informed coaching into deeply transformative experiences. Her sessions are not just conversations, they are sacred rituals where women are invited to release shame, reconnect with their divine essence, and remember who they were before the world taught them to be silent.

She doesn’t just offer coaching, she offers soul level transformation. Tywanah’s work is a homecoming for the forgotten parts of every woman’s spirit. Her signature message, From Ashes to Ascension, speaks to the heart of what she embodies: a living testament that healing is not only possible, it’s inevitable. Through her voice, her story, and her sacred service, Tywanah walks beside every woman who is ready to rise from the ashes and lead with unapologetic authenticity and divine purpose. Here is what she said…

Name: Tywanah Evette

Pillar: The Spirit, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Women who need (want) guidance through their darkest moments so they can heal, remember who they are, reclaim their real power and rise like a phoenix.

How they can help: By using various techniques like shadow work, somatic practices, and journaling accompanied with spiritual tools like oracle readings, ancestral guidance, ritual practices, and custom energy clearing exercises, just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Thank you so much for asking.

My family and I are doing well, and for that, I’m deeply grateful.

Like many, we faced our share of emotional, spiritual, and financial challenges during the pandemic, but we also grew stronger, closer, and more intentional about how we live and love.

That time was a sacred mirror.

It reminded us of what truly matters: presence, peace, and purpose.

While the world slowed down, we used the stillness to reflect, reconnect, and realign.

It wasn’t always easy, but it was transformational.

We’re moving forward now with more grace, more gratitude, and a greater commitment to living fully, and helping others do the same.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

The coronavirus pandemic had a profound impact on many of my clients, especially those silently carrying trauma.

Isolation, fear, and instability pushed unhealed wounds to the surface, leaving many women feeling overwhelmed and unseen.

For some, being stuck in toxic or abusive environments made the pain even more unbearable.

At the time, I wasn’t yet reading oracle cards or offering spiritual coaching.

I was considered an essential worker in my previous career, so I witnessed the emotional weight people were carrying on the front lines.

Even then, I felt the call to serve on a deeper level… but I didn’t yet know what that would become.

It wasn’t until 2023 that I fully stepped into my spiritual gifts and began offering intuitive healing and oracle guidance.

Looking back, the pandemic was a divine initiation, not just for my clients, but for me.

It awakened something dormant in me and reminded me that we are all here for more.

I believe that the season of global stillness cracked open a portal for purpose, and through that, I was called to create sacred spaces for women to rise, heal, and reclaim themselves.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

One of the biggest lessons I learned during the pandemic is that community doesn’t have to be physical to be powerful.

In fact, some of the most soul nourishing, life changing connections I’ve ever witnessed have been virtual.

While the world was shutting down and isolation became the norm, I saw women from across the globe come together in sacred digital spaces to cry, heal, laugh, and rise together.

It taught me that healing isn’t bound by walls… it’s rooted in energy, intention, and shared experience.

The pandemic revealed just how essential sisterhood is, especially for women who have carried their pain in silence.

It showed me that when women gather (whether across time zones or through a screen) miracles happen.

That time reminded me that we are never truly alone.

We are connected, always, by a divine thread.

And when we show up in vulnerability and truth, even in virtual spaces, we create a global tapestry of healing, love, and transformation.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I’m the Founder of Black Butterfly Goddess and a fourth generation intuitive healer, Spiritual Strategist, Trauma Recovery Facilitator, and Women’s Advocate.

My coaching journey was birthed from my own lived experience as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and deep emotional trauma.

I didn’t just read about healing, I lived it, fought for it, and eventually transformed it into a sacred calling.

After escaping an abusive relationship, I was guided by spirit (and the legacy of my late mother, Mama Lorraine) to begin helping other women break cycles of pain and reclaim their power.

What started as sharing wisdom on social media turned into a global movement: hosting summits, leading group programs, and holding space for women to rise from survival into sovereignty.

Today, I help women heal trauma at the soul level, reconnect with their spiritual gifts, and step into their divine purpose, because I believe every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and whole.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was surviving childhood sexual abuse at the hands of my father and the lifelong impact of that betrayal.

For decades, I carried silent shame, deep abandonment wounds, and a fractured sense of self.

I lived most of my life in survival mode, trying to be everything for everyone while burying my own pain.

It wasn’t during childhood or even motherhood that I broke.

It was later, when my daughters were grown, and I was alone with the unbearable weight of what I had survived.

I reached a point where I no longer wanted to live.

That moment, standing at the edge of my own existence, was my turning point.

But Spirit wasn’t done with me.

That breakdown became a breakthrough.

I chose to rise, to heal, and to transform that pain into purpose.

Today, I guide women through their darkest moments, because I know what it’s like to feel like there’s no way out.

I’m living proof that healing is possible.

That you can rise from the ashes.

And that your story can become someone else’s survival guide.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I innovate in my coaching by blending ancestral wisdom, intuitive guidance, and trauma informed strategy to meet each woman exactly where she is… spiritually, emotionally, and energetically.

My approach is not one size fits all.

Every session is a sacred experience, grounded in both spiritual insight and psychological understanding.

What sets my work apart is how I integrate oracle readings, ancestral healing, shadow work, and somatic practices with real life tools for emotional regulation, self trust, and empowerment.

I also offer customized journals, recorded soul readings, and sacred rituals that make healing not just informative, but transformative.

My clients don’t just talk about their pain, they rewrite their story, reclaim their worth, and remember their power.

I innovate by creating safe, soul nourishing spaces where women feel deeply seen, spiritually supported, and radically loved, because I believe healing should feel like coming home to yourself.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

What’s unique about my coaching approach is that I blend spiritual wisdom, ancestral healing, and trauma informed strategy into a deeply sacred, soul led experience.

I don’t just coach from a textbook, I coach from lived experience, generational wisdom, and divine guidance.

Every session is intuitively guided and energetically attuned to meet the client where she is emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

I use tools like oracle readings, customized healing journals, somatic exercises, and reflective rituals to help women not only process trauma, but reclaim their voice, their power, and their purpose.

My clients don’t just heal, they remember who they were before the world told them to be silent.

This isn’t surface level self help…

This is soul level transformation, a return to wholeness, divinity, and truth.

I hold space not just as a coach, but as a mirror, a guide, and a sacred witness to each woman’s rise.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

After working with me, my clients experience deep soul level healing and lasting transformation.

They walk away with more than just insight… they reclaim their voice, their self worth, and their divine identity.

Many of them come to me feeling broken, silenced, or lost in survival mode.

But through our journey together, they begin to remember who they truly are beneath the pain.

They learn how to set sacred boundaries, trust their intuition, release generational trauma, and finally feel safe in their own bodies again.

They gain spiritual tools, emotional resilience, and the confidence to lead themselves forward with clarity and purpose.

The greatest benefit is that they stop merely existing, and start living again.

Fully.

Boldly.

Unapologetically.

They rise from the ashes of their past and step into the truth of their power, knowing they are no longer alone.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Yes, I use a combination of modern technology and sacred spiritual tools to create a powerful and efficient experience for my clients.

For organization and communication, I use Slack for direct messaging and group updates, Ivorey to streamline scheduling and session access, and Canva to design personalized journals, affirmations, and visual resources that support the healing journey.

But what truly sets my work apart are the spiritual tools I weave into every experience, like oracle readings, ancestral guidance, ritual practices, and custom energy clearing exercises.

These sacred tools help my clients not just manage their healing, but embody it on a soul level.

By integrating both practical systems and intuitive wisdom, I create a space that’s organized, accessible, and deeply transformative, where healing becomes a sacred, supported journey every step of the way.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Your pain is valid.

Your healing is possible.

And your power is undeniable.

You are not what happened to you, you are who you choose to become after it.

Forgive for your freedom, not their comfort.

Because forgiveness doesn’t mean access.

You can release what hurt you without reopening the door to what broke you.

To every woman still carrying shame, silence, or self doubt: You are not alone.

You are worthy of love, peace, and a life that feels like truth.

Rise.

Reclaim.

Remember who you are.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The greatest lesson I’ve learned in my life is that my pain was never meant to break me, it was meant to awaken me.

Every wound, betrayal, and hardship I endured was a portal to deeper purpose.

I used to believe that I had to carry it all in silence, that survival was the goal.

But I’ve learned that healing is not only possible, it’s my birthright.

I’ve discovered that true power comes from facing the darkest parts of yourself with love and choosing to rise anyway.

I’ve learned that I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to do with it.

And most of all, I’ve learned that when a woman heals, she doesn’t just heal herself… she heals generations before and after her.

That lesson fuels everything I do, and it’s what I teach other women: your scars are sacred, your story has power, and you are worthy of rising.

Your final thoughts?

Healing is not linear, and it is never one size fits all.

It’s a sacred, deeply personal journey, a reclamation of all the pieces of yourself that trauma tried to silence.

It is the courageous act of choosing yourself over and over again, even when the world told you to stay small, stay quiet, or stay broken.

If there’s one truth I’ve learned, it’s that you don’t have to wait to be chosen, you get to choose yourself.

You get to rise from the ashes of what tried to destroy you and rebuild a life rooted in love, purpose, and spiritual power.

You get to forgive without giving access, to release without reattaching, and to heal without rushing your becoming.

In my work, I hold space for women to remember: your story didn’t end with the trauma, it started with your decision to rise.

You are not too much.

You are not too late.

And you are never too far gone to come home to yourself.

This is your season to RISE, to RECLAIM your soul, and to REMEMBER who you are, because the world is waiting for your light, your voice, and your truth.

And I am walking beside you, every step of the way.
