294

Jasmine Spink is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her passion for coaching and growing, her honesty, and her strength of character.

She is a heart led, resilient force who turned deep pain into powerful purpose. Growing up surrounded by addiction, domestic abuse, and poverty, she made a bold decision early in life… to be the one who breaks the cycle. Rather than let her past harden her, she chose to remain soft, loving, and forgiving, using her story as a beacon of hope for others. Her journey is not just about survival, but about rising with intention and inspiring others to do the same.

She discovered life coaching after enduring a toxic corporate environment that stripped her of her confidence and left her barely functioning. In the stillness of a three month leave, she found the spark that would ignite her transformation. Through the iPEC Core Energy Coaching™ model, she began not only to heal but to harness her experience as fuel to walk beside others in their own healing journeys, with empathy, clarity, and unshakable belief in their worth.

She now helps ambitious, heart led individuals unlearn performance based worth, release burnout, and reclaim their voice. Her unique coaching style blends deep energy work with spiritual insight, guiding clients back to their authentic selves. With tools like the Energy Leadership Index and a focus on core transformation, she empowers people to live unfiltered, aligned lives rooted in freedom, truth, and personal power. Here is what she said…

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

The pandemic was a jarring global event, one that shook the world on every level.

Unlike many, my family and I were fortunate not to experience the financial hardships that came with it.

Both of my parents were essential workers, which allowed us to maintain a sense of financial stability during those deeply uncertain times.

But for me, the pandemic marked something far more personal and transformational.

It became a profound spiritual turning point, a catalytic moment that thrust me into the question:

Who am I when I’m no longer living for other people?

That question cracked something open in me, and I’ve been walking that path of self discovery ever since.

What’s remarkable is that life now, on the other side of that awakening, feels more whole, more aligned, than it ever did before the world stopped.

Everything has shifted for the better, not because it was easy, but because it forced me to finally come home to myself.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

I began my coaching journey after the pandemic, but as mentioned earlier, that period impacted me in a profoundly spiritual way.

Before the world shut down, I was an incredibly sociable person.

My days were filled with volunteering, fundraising events, and a packed schedule that kept me constantly in motion.

I prided myself on always being busy, always involved.

But when the pandemic hit, the world became quiet, for the first time in a long time.

Everything stopped and with that stillness came a truth I could no longer ignore:

I had been using my busyness as a way to cope, to distract myself from myself…

I was running from the inner work, from the unhealed wounds I hadn’t yet faced.

That season of forced solitude became a mirror.

It showed me how much of my identity had been built around performance, doing things not purely for joy, but to meet others’ expectations, to feel needed, to earn acceptance and validation.

Stripped of distractions, I was finally able to sit with myself and begin the process of discovering who I was underneath it all, when I wasn’t trying to prove anything to anyone.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

That there is profound power in simply observing and witnessing without rushing to fix, analyze, or make sense of it all.

Sometimes, healing begins not in doing, but in allowing.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I’m an ambitious, optimistic, and heart led person who believes there’s no graduation from the pursuit of universal wisdom.

I truly believe there are no limits to what I can create and achieve with this one extraordinary life.

I pour my heart and soul into everything I touch because if I can, why would I choose not to?

That said, my story began with deep pain and challenge.

Growing up, I witnessed the effects of addiction through my mom and her boyfriend, experienced domestic abuse, and navigated life in the grip of poverty, alongside many other difficult, formative experiences.

But I made a decision early on: I would be the one to break the cycle.

I would turn my pain into purpose and wear my story with honor.

I chose to remain soft, loving, and forgiving and use that resilience to inspire and uplift others.

To show people that there is an end, followed by a beautiful new beginning and that their past does not have to define their future.

My coaching journey began after spending three years in an incredibly toxic sales environment.

I was manipulated, gaslit, belittled, and verbally harassed, until eventually, I couldn’t recognize myself.

I had built a character to survive it all, but behind it, my confidence had eroded.

I was experiencing anxiety attacks every other day, barely coasting through life until one day, I broke.

I took a three month leave and in that pause, I discovered life coaching.

It was like something finally clicked into place.

I immediately fell in love with the work, enrolled in the iPEC program, and began a journey that would completely transform my life.

I realized that everything I had endured, personally and professionally was not in vain.

It was preparing me to be the hand that reaches back to lift others.

To walk alongside those navigating their own pain and help them find the way through the maze faster, safer, and with more clarity.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

My greatest obstacle was understanding my worth, not intellectually, but on a soul deep level.

I had to unlearn the belief that worth is something to be earned, proven, or measured by what I do or how others see me.

My worth, I realized, is inherent.

It exists simply because I do.

For much of my life, I lived in a cycle of repression and survival.

I silenced my voice.

I believed love had to be earned.

I felt responsible for carrying the emotional weight of those around me… trying to fix, to save, to hold everything together.

In doing so, I abandoned myself.

I became disconnected, isolated, and empty, terrified of creating waves.

I was afraid to speak my truth for fear of judgment, rejection, or worse, being blamed.

But as I began the journey of remembering who I truly am, everything shifted.

I started to care for myself with the same tenderness I once reserved for others.

I realized I am alive and that alone is enough.

Embodying my worth means living in unwavering authenticity.

It means standing in the truth that I am enough, just as I am.

My voice is valuable.

My story is valuable.

I am valuable.

And dimming myself no longer serves me, or the people who may be waiting for someone like me to speak.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

In my coaching practice, I draw heavily from iPEC’s Core Energy Coaching™ framework to support clients at the deepest level of transformation, their core.

This approach is highly effective because our thoughts, interpretations, and behaviors are all reflections of what’s happening at the root of our being.

By coaching at that foundational level, we bring awareness to the core blocks and patterns that influence every aspect of life, allowing true, lasting healing from the inside out.

My method is also deeply infused with spiritual and philosophical undertones.

It’s not just about achieving goals, it’s about uncovering the real you beneath the curated identities: the hyper independent achiever, the burnt out perfectionist, the people pleasing performer.

Together, we unlearn the patterns that have kept you disconnected from your truth and begin the journey back to your most aligned, empowered self.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I help ambitious, heart led individuals unlearn performance based worth, heal hyper independence, and break free from burnout.

Together, we untangle the need to earn love through people pleasing, so they can finally discover who they are when they’re no longer performing for others.

My unique approach guides individuals back to the core of who they are and what they truly desire.

I help them reconnect with their voice, reclaim their power, and lead lives rooted in autonomy, alignment, and personal freedom.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

After working with me, my clients experience a powerful sense of personal freedom and clarity, across their identity, relationships, careers, and most importantly, their desires.

They learn to set and uphold healthy boundaries, advocate for themselves, and confidently embody their most authentic self.

There’s a renewed sense of peace, joy, and excitement for life because they finally get to experience what it feels like to live unfiltered, unafraid, and fully expressed.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

As a certified Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, I love guiding my clients through the ELI Assessment.

It’s a profoundly insightful tool that reveals how your unique perspective shapes the way you experience and interact with the world, both under stress and in everyday life.

This clarity becomes the foundation for conscious growth, emotional mastery, and empowered decision making.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Stop hiding who you are in the pursuit of false perfection.

Be raw.

Be open.

Be authentic.

Be messy.

Most of all, be human.

Don’t let fear hold you back from living fully, because on the other side of that fear is a freedom so powerful, it makes every shaky step worth it.

Walk through it.

You’re not just surviving, you’re becoming.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

I’ve learned that change is a constant, whether subtle or seismic and resisting it often causes more pain than allowing it to unfold.

The more I tried to hold on, the more I suffered.

Now, I’ve learned to honor change as a sacred part of life’s evolution.

A progressive unfolding that invites me to grow, expand, and become.

Instead of fearing it, I’ve begun to ride its wave with trust, knowing that each shift carries wisdom meant to shape who I’m here to be.

Pain, too, has been one of my greatest teachers.

One of the most profound truths I’ve come to advocate for is this:

There is always a lesson hidden within the pain.

It is life’s most honest mirror and this world’s most transformative teacher.

Because of that, I find it hard to hold deep resentment toward those who may have hurt me.

The pain they caused taught me things I may not have learned otherwise, it became the fire that forged who I am today.

I allow myself to feel and honor the pain, but I don’t stay in it.

I seek out the lesson, and when I find it, I transform that pain into purpose.
