We believe that being a life coach is really similar to being a superhero.

Each life coach is unique, like a superhero. They all dedicate their whole life helping people. Each with their own personal origin story and a special “superpower” they use to help others.

Most often, their superpower is first their greatest obstacle, and once they go through their own personal metamorphosis, they develop a skills to help others do the same. They uncover a truth that was within them all along. They transmute their flaws into their greatest strength.

Whatever it is, it’s a transformational process extremely similar like that of a Superhero.

And just like with the Avengers, we went on a mission to find all the unique life coaches with huge potential from all around the world and bring them together as the Earth’s Mightiest Supercoaches.

Heidi Elizabeth A. Mayfield is one of the coaches we found and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her talent, experience and bravery. Here is what she said.

Name: Heidi Elizabeth A. Mayfield
Pillar: The Spirit
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to overcome their traumas and be their true selves.
How they can help: She does astrology reading, gives you guiding messages and helps you see your true self.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

Lucky everyone in my family is healthy and doing well.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

My clients, I noticed, seemed to become more of their authentic selfs.

I felt I could really help some, while others became resistant and stuck in their ways.

People had to be with themselves more, the good and bad traits in each person became much more apparent.

Of course, it affected me as I’m extrovert and being alone more taught me a lot about me.

I grew a lot as a person and I had the time to work on myself and changed things I did not like about myself.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

I did a lot self refection which helped me become more in tune with people and able to read them easier.

I leaned that people became less of their persona and more who they truly were. Their mask came off.

It was easier to see who was a real friend and who was fake friend, which was very hard at times.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I went to film school in NM and graduated in 1996 with a BA in film. I then moved to LA where I started my movie business career.

I lived across the street from an astrologer who taught me astrology and how to read charts. I was a natural at it and quickly became obsessed and learned everything I could about it.

I found it relaxing to study it after a stressful day on a film set. Over the last 25 years of studding astrology I became a pretty good astrologer.

After working in the movies and television business for 27 years as a department head and being an astrologer I became a natural life coach.

I read astrology charts and have the ability to profile people. I help my clients navigate through the good and bad transits in their charts.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Not taking things personally.

Working in Hollywood with people with huge egos and learning not to take it personally was a must if I was to make it.

I had to learn to not be sensitive to do my job well. I’m also dyslexic and had to over come the judgments of that from others.

I’m also a perfectionist, so that was a huge obstacle for me.

For me learning not to take the mean things people do and say in life so personally has been a life lesson.

Not being so sensitive but more matter of fact, when I work, was challenge.

Once I did it I became so much more happier.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I normally do an hour reading that I record and send to my clients. I then do a phone follow up phone session with them. It can be anywhere from an hour to a few hours.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I get a lot answers from my guides and unseen friends. I can give people messages from them that help them move forward.

I give my clients a lot tools to take with them for life.

I also, can see where their blocks are which help them self reflect to move through their traumas that hold them back in life.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

They hopefully see themselves more clearly as who they truly are, and have tools to help them not to rely on others so much.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

I teach people how to listen to their guides and listen to them self and self reflect.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Be your true self.

Those who love you will find you and those who don’t will stay away.

Life is easy, happy and flows when you are your true self.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

That people come and go and that it is ourselves that we take with us in this journey we call life. So we must get along with ourselves to be happy.

Your final thoughts?

I truly love to help people. I love to watch for signs and see the magic unfold.
