We believe that being a life coach is really similar to being a superhero.
Each life coach is unique, like a superhero. They all dedicate their whole life helping people. Each with their own personal origin story and a special “superpower” they use to help others.
Most often, their superpower is first their greatest obstacle, and once they go through their own personal metamorphosis, they develop a skills to help others do the same. They uncover a truth that was within them all along. They transmute their flaws into their greatest strength.
Whatever it is, it’s a transformational process extremely similar like that of a Superhero.
And just like with the Avengers, we went on a mission to find all the unique life coaches with huge potential from all around the world and bring them together as the Earth’s Mightiest Supercoaches.
Bruce Sanchez is one of the coaches we found and we did a little interview with him. He impressed us with his courageous personality and his will to overcome his obstacles on his way. Here is what he said.
Meet Life Coach Bruce Sanchez:

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?
Thanks for asking, my family fortunately are doing very well, despite that they all live in Spain. As many of you know, Spain was hit badly.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?
Not too much, at least to my clients, which 95% are from Australia.
The main struggles they faced were about how to influence their teams and keep them motivated. How to maintain the sense of purpose, at least the way they used to before the pandemic.
Despite that, most of my clients didn’t fire their employees, most of the employee’s partners did, and of course, that affected them not just in their performance but also their emotions and motivation.
What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?
Nothing can be taken for granted, there’s not such a thing as secure job and, regardless of what might happen around us, around the world, we always have the power of choice on how to RESPOND to challenges instead of
Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?
My tipping point came when I was diagnosed with PTSD, due my work as a Correctional Officer in Melbourne. Just a few weeks before the virus hit Australia I experienced panic attacks at my workplace, and they were also for the first time.
Once diagnosed, I remember telling my wife “you know what, I think this is the right time I was waiting for to start diving into coaching more professionally, because that was something I wanted to start a few years ago, and I was telling myself a bunch of BSs about not having enough time, being busy, etc”
“I can’t think of a better time to have my life back, and start being the person I always wanted to be.”
What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?
My biggest challenge that I overcame and conquered were my addictions when I was living in Spain, and of course my recent battle to PTSD for which I found a way to overcome that, and now being and living the life I always dreamt of.
The Coaching Style:
How do you innovate with coaching your clients?
I came across Brendon Burchard and his Certified High Performance Coaching Program, I decided to apply to his program. Something I thought it wouldn’t happen because Brendon only certifies 200 people a year and I wasn’t sure If I could make the cut, and guess what now…… I MADE IT!
Now, I am certified as a High Performance Coach by the High Performance Institute, run by Brendon Burchard. We are just 900 worldwide high Performance Coaches and the process we use to coach our clients is considered the world’s best High Performance Coaching program, according to Forbes.com.
What’s unique about your coaching approach?
I have gone through the program myself first and implemented everything and even more that comes from this process.
And because of my own personal story coming from addictions to Worldwide Krav Maga instructor, then Correctional Officer, then CERT (Centre Emergency Response Team) member to PTSD, and now Certified High Performance Coach, without any degree (I’m a High School dropout) and also English was my second language, which I had to taught myself because I didn’t money to pay an academy here in Australia…
So I firmly believe in second changes in life and come back stories, I am a living proof of it.
What benefits do your clients get after working with you?
More Clarity, they know how to generate more ENERGY, they raise their NECESSITY, they become very PRODUCTIVE, and develop more INFLUENCE not just to their teams but in they families too. They become more
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?
All the tools that this Certified High Performance Coaching provides.
If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?
I love this question because every time I have the chance to use a mic I say,
“You can become whoever the hell you want in life, you deserve more and BETTER, there’s nothing wrong in wanting more in life, you just need to allow yourself to it, because you are strong, you are beautiful, and of course, because you deserve it.”
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?
I can reinvent myself ANYTIME in this life!
Your final thoughts?
You all have grown up being constantly told what to do, what to say and even what to think.
Since we were kids: “you need to wake at this time and go to school, you need to go to school and study those subjects, you need to get a degree, get married, have a family, a house a good job, and so on and so forth…”
So no wonder why so many people are going through emotions in life, lost, uncertain, stressed, hating the job they
do, like I said, so many people not all people of course, so let me ask you something… What are you waiting for?
Look what happened in 2020. Do you think you have all the time to wait until you “feel ready” for whatever you are waiting for? Seriously?
If you are not happy with your life, mate, I think it’s time to stand up to not just to yourself but to those around you.
