5 Ways You Can Sharpen Your Intuition Skills

2690

Intuition is our innate ability to know the right choices in life. But as time goes by, when we become so entangled in the busyness of everyday life, we come to lose grips of our intuition.

This can leave us a bit confused, wondering what is the best thing to do at a given moment. Before we knew it, every time we hear the whispers of this “inner voice”, we come questioning it because we’re no longer familiar with it.

However, hearing clearly this “inner voice” or “gut feeling” is very much possible if we just know how to do it. There are ways to follow, though.

And these ways are generously shared to us by Sonia Choquette, who has been teaching people on how to unleash their intuition for more than 35 years. Allow Sonia to lead you in discovering your inner voice once again.

How To Sharpen Your Intuition:Ways Sharpen Your Intuition

1. Seek solitude.

We’re living in a world where information comes in handy. With just one click, different opinions from people may drown you. Even your email is jam packed with media campaigns.

Because of this, it requires a certain amount of time to come hear your voice once again. To do this, you need to take the time to spend alone time with yourself at least 30 minutes a day.

You can either meditate or do journaling. Begin by asking yourself questions. The answers may surprise you, but let your thoughts flow and keep listening to yourself.

When you become familiar with your inner voice and its personality, your intuition starts to get enhanced.

The more you have a good idea of who you are, the louder your intuition becomes until all you hear is your own voice and the voice of the world slowly dissipates into the background.

2. Put yourself in someone else’s shoes.

Feeling what the other person is feeling or going through is one sign that your intuition is doing its crucial work. This usually happens when you’re with someone and you pick up their mood whether they’re happy or sad even without them telling you.

Or, when you’re in a public place and you sense that someone is uncomfortable or is under stress. Having the ability to pick up the energies around you is a work of your intuition.

You can make your intuition work in your relationships when you’re able to put yourself in the shoes of others but without judgment. This helps you to know them on a much deeper level.

Once your intuition works great in this area, finding a soulmate or even a group of friends will end in more positive outcomes.

3. Acknowledge your “vibes”.

Vibes are the feelings that you get when you’re in a particular place, situation, or with a person. Whenever you sense something, never ignore it.

Acknowledge this feeling, focus on it and seek for the reasons behind that feeling. It could mean something important, such as to warn you of something or inform you that something is coming.

Most of the time, this happens when you meet people.

People normally carry with them either a positive or negative vibe. When your intuition is strong, you’re able to feel these energies.

Regardless of the vibe that you feel, acknowledge it and act accordingly.

When you practice this regularly, recognizing your intuition when it surfaces will become much easier.

4. Play the “I wonder” game.

The best way to test your intuition is to summon it and have fun with you. Begin by saying “I wonder” and finish that sentence with all kinds of things you could think of.

For example, “I wonder who’s going to come out of the office first”. “I wonder what flower is blooming outside today”.

According to Sonia, “Wondering is the front door to intuition”. Hence, playing this game allows you to set aside logical thinking and dig into your intuition more.

5. Allow your intuition to help you earn money.

While earning money seems not to fit with the intuition thing, the truth is, intuition plays a big role in your finances.

Successful people, like Oprah Winfrey, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates, owe their success to intuition.

Most often, failure comes our way when we’re wandering through life without a clear path of where we want to be. It’s true that we learn from trial and error, but then we can minimize these things from happening and save our hearts from unnecessary pains if we’ll just know how to tap into our intuition.

Our intuition is here to guide us and leads us not into a sour deal or a cheating business partner. It knows our strengths.

We only need to listen more closely to it, and allow it to lead us in greener pastures and abundant life.
