Shronda M. Cooper is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her focus and perseverance.
She began her journey in customer service, training, and recruiting… fields that allowed her natural passion for helping others to shine. With experience across banking, retail, and healthcare, she developed a unique ability to connect with people and guide them toward meaningful change. What started as informal coaching for friends and family soon revealed itself as a calling she couldn’t ignore.
She faced one of her greatest personal challenges early on: fear. Once extremely shy, she often held herself back despite her potential. But as her knowledge and confidence grew, she confronted that fear head on, transforming it into a source of strength. That transformation laid the foundation for her coaching philosophy, which empowers others to move forward with courage and clarity.
She now leads Cooper Consulting Firm with a coaching style that’s client centered, goal oriented, solution focused, empowering, and non directive. By helping clients create actionable plans while uncovering their own answers, she ensures lasting results. Whether they’re paying off debt or finally pursuing lifelong dreams, her clients walk away equipped with both confidence and a clear direction. Here is what she said…
Name: Shronda M. Cooper
Pillar: The Mind
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to be financially free and reach their Life’s Goals.
How they can help: By using various coaching tools and techniques.
My family and I are doing well since the pandemic.
During the pandemic, I took a step back from coaching to focus on my family.
With my children transitioning to online learning for the first time, I dedicated my time and energy to supporting them through that adjustment and ensuring they stayed on track academically.
It was a meaningful period of growth and connection for our family.
The pandemic deeply affected our family.
At one point, my husband, our three children, and I all contracted the virus.
It was a challenging time, but it also brought us closer together and reminded us of the importance of health, resilience, and supporting one another.
One of the most important lessons I learned from the pandemic was the value of perseverance.
While the world seemed to pause, many companies had to quickly adapt and find ways to keep moving forward.
Watching how organizations navigated uncertainty and embraced innovation inspired me to do the same, stay resilient, flexible, and focused on progress, no matter the circumstances.
With a strong foundation in customer service, training, and recruiting, I’ve always been passionate about helping people grow and succeed.
My career has spanned diverse industries (including banking, retail, and healthcare) where I honed my ability to connect with individuals and guide them toward their goals.
What began as informal coaching for friends and family quickly evolved into a calling.
Realizing the impact I could make, I founded Cooper Consulting Firm in 2018.
Since then, I’ve been dedicated to empowering clients through personalized coaching that drives real, lasting change.
Fear has been the greatest obstacle I’ve had to overcome in my life.
Early in my career, I was extremely shy, which often held me back.
Over time, as I gained more knowledge and experience, my confidence began to grow.
With each step forward, I learned to face fear head on, transforming it into a driving force for personal and professional growth.
I use five coaching approaches:
1. Client centered: With this approach, I focus on my client’s goals, values, and strengths.
2. Goal oriented: With this approach, I help clients create clear, actionable goals that keep them accountable.
3. Solution focused: With this approach, I help my clients find solutions to the problems they are facing to keep them moving forward.
4. Empowering: With this approach, I help build my clients’ confidence by asking questions that lead them to a decision.
5. Non directive: With this approach, I guide my clients to discover their own answers.
Many of my clients have paid off debt and are working toward their life’s goals.
I use Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, and Bookings.
Don’t suffer in silence.
There are people to help and guide you through whatever you are struggling with.
The greatest lesson I’ve learned is to keep moving forward.
Without growth, we become stagnant and stagnation stifles progress.
Growth comes through learning, and learning empowers us to adapt.
In a constantly changing world, adaptability isn’t just valuable, it’s essential for survival and success.
