Find Life Coach | Meet Lana Osborne: How to Improve Your Health and Transform Your Work Environment?

125

Lana Osborne is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her professionalism and confidence.

She began her career as a Registered Nurse, working closely with multicultural clients and quickly realizing that the healthcare system often left crucial emotional and mental needs unaddressed. Medication and brief provider visits weren’t enough to truly change lives, so she stepped in, offering coaching sessions that sparked noticeable transformations. Her clients and their families began living more optimized, empowered lives, and it became clear she had found her calling beyond the clinical walls.

She faced one of her greatest life challenges when a sudden health crisis led to a disabling condition and the loss of her job. As if that weren’t enough, her ex husband walked out, leaving her to raise three children on her own. But she didn’t break.

She turned inward, drew strength from her faith, and emerged more determined than ever to serve others. That adversity didn’t just shape her, it became the foundation for the empathy, resilience, and spiritual strength she brings to every coaching relationship. What sets her apart is the way she creates space for transformation, offering not just strategies, but a genuine connection. Her clients don’t just gain insight… they experience real, measurable growth, and they leave her sessions with clarity, courage, and renewed purpose. Here is what she said…

As a first responder during the pandemic, we are doing well.

Thank you for asking.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

We were all affected by the pandemic.

My clientele is the working middle class struggling to make ends meet.

They lost jobs and family members, in addition to their peace and safety.

We were able to inspire hope and encouragement to many who had lost everything.

My family and I were affected by the pandemic; however, we are making strides every day.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The biggest lesson I learned is that we need to understand we are all in this together.

Therefore, we would all benefit from being kinder, practicing patience, and showing empathy.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

As a Registered Nurse working with an array of multicultural clients, I noticed huge gaps in my clients’ lives that medication and a 15 minute provider visit could not fix.

I witnessed first hand the quantum leaps my clients made after my coaching sessions.

My clients and their families were now living more optimized lives.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

My biggest obstacle was facing and overcoming a sudden health crisis, resulting in a crippling disability and the loss of my job.

At the same time, my ex husband walked out on my three children.

I know that with God, all things are possible.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I innovate my coaching practice by truly getting to know my clients.

I develop trust and help them rediscover and transform themselves.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

My unique coaching approach begins with allowing my clients space to feel comfortable.

I integrate my professional skills as an experienced registered nurse with effective coaching frameworks, active listening, and motivational interviewing.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

When clients work with me, they benefit by gaining clarity, transformation, and results.

Period.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

The specific tools I use are primarily coaching frameworks, active listening, motivational interviewing, and technical skills from the nursing process.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Everyone needs a coach.

Make your world a better place and find yours today!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The greatest lesson I have learned is to put God first.
