Kim Biglin is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her expertise and her strength of character and positivity.
She is a multifaceted woman whose path to coaching was paved with a desire to transform personal challenges into opportunities for growth. With a background as diverse as her talents, encompassing singing, writing, and coaching, she brings a rich tapestry of experiences to her practice.
Her coaching comes from experience. Overcoming obstacles isn’t just a mantra for her, it’s a way of life. Embracing a physical disability, she exemplifies resilience in the face of adversity, continually learning and evolving. But it’s not just personal triumphs that define their coaching style, it’s an innate ability to connect with clients on a profound level, recognizing that each individual carries a unique narrative that shapes their worldview.
She is not your regular coach. What sets her apart is not just her belief in the power of solutions, but their approach to uncovering them. With a philosophy rooted in the art of asking the right questions, they empower clients to navigate hurdles with confidence and clarity. She instills a mindset of perpetual progress, where every conversation becomes a gateway to discovery. Here is what she said.
Name: Kim Biglin
Pillar: The Mind, The Heart
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to discover the answers they are looking for and overcome their obstacles to move forward in life.
How they can help: Through coaching, asking questions, and motivation.
I am proud to say, “I survived the pandemic”.
Many people were out of work.
Money was used strictly for necessities.
Life Coaching was not considered to be of significant importance.
Those who remained, continued their services via telephone or video such as Skype or Zoom.
FEAR is more contagious than any virus.
Throughout my life, I always had many people coming to me with their problems or just a different perspective.
So, I decided to turn it into a career.
I am also a singer and a writer.
I have a physical disability and I am still learning to overcome obstacles everyday.
Every client is an individual with various backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences that has formed them as a person.
It is important to listen and understand the client so that you do not stray from their core values and beliefs.
I believe there is a solution to every problem.
If we cannot find the solution, then we have not asked the right questions.
Clients learn to overcome obstacles, to keep moving forward, to never accept “no” as an answer, and to continue asking questions.
People do not always know how they can help.
If you keep them talking, you may find your answer or someone else who may know the answer.
No.
Every person has value!
Always think outside of the box.
Nothing to add.
