Find Life Coach | Meet Michelle Mendez: How to Reprogram Your Paradigm for Success?

Michelle Mendez is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her life story and experience.

She helps people, especially female entrepreneurs to change their beliefs and paradigm for success in business and life. But she didn’t start there.

Her life was pretty hard in the beginning. From being homeless and living in her car to dealing with an abusive relationship. She went through a lot. But with hard work, mainly on her own paradigm, she managed to become super successful, happy, and in loving relationship, doing what she loves, in just few years.

Her coaching approach is all about showing you that you can create the life that you want if you change your paradigm. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Michelle Mendez:

Name: Michelle Mendez

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind

Who is this coach for: Female entrepreneurs who want to achieve success in life and business.

How they can help: By changing the paradigm through reprogramming the mind.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

My family and I are doing well.

During these times, it has caused us to shift our focus to be more grateful for the gift of life, the people in our lives, and realize how quickly life can change, so we should aim to live each day to the fullest.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

Quite a bit of people I knew passed away during the pandemic so that was challenging.

It was also a challenge for myself, my spouse, and my children shifting to doing work and school from home full time.. thank goodness for mediation!

It helped calm me in those moments when I felt things were overwhelming.

I made the decision to leave my 9 to 5 during the pandemic and pursue my coaching career full time, which is something I’ve always wanted to do, but never felt confident enough to do.

The pandemic gave me that push to free myself from a job I was miserable with and pursue one of my dreams.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

Tomorrow isn’t promised to us so live each day to the fullest.

Tell your loved ones how much you love and appreciate them now, step out and do those things you’ve been stalling on now, and be grateful each morning you wake up to see another day.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I am first and foremost a mother to 3 children, an Amazon best selling author, and a paradigm shift coach with a focus on helping female entrepreneurs achieve the success they desire in life and business by shifting limiting beliefs and habits.

My coaching career started four years ago when I came across a paradigm shift training that my mentor Bob Proctor was hosting.

I invested three days learning about the effects of paradigms, the power of my mind, and higher mental facilities to create the life I desire and at the end of these three days I decided I wanted to be coached by him, do what he was doing.

And that is exactly what I did!

I feel extremely grateful to have been coached by him during his time here with us and to be able to not only share this knowledge with others but show them how they can properly apply it leading to them creating the life they want.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

I would say many things helped to shape the woman I am today.

One of the main obstacles I had to overcome was not living the way I wanted to live, doing the things I wanted to do, and not expressing my uniqueness because I was afraid of what others may think and say.

I learned to overcome this by upgrading my self image paradigm which is a perception I was unconsciously holding about myself.

The woman I choose to be today feels comfortable and confident expressing her uniqueness without judging herself or letting the opinions of others limit her and looks forward to achieving audacious goals and dreams.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

My approach is usually first having individuals become aware that you cannot get from where you currently are in your personal or professional life to where you desire to be with their current paradigms.

Your paradigms control your actions which are producing your current results.

Often, we focus on improving our actions to improve our results.

The issue with this approach is our actions are often not consistent, we slip back into old ways of doing things and this is because we haven’t focused on changing the root cause of our actions which is the paradigm.

Change the paradigm and you will change the way you create results.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

As a paradigm shift coach, my approach is working with the root cause of why we do what we do: paradigms.

Our paradigms, which are our mental programming that has almost exclusive control over our habitual behavior, control every aspect of our life.

Usually, when an individual is looking to improve a particular area of their life, they work from the place of improving their behavior.

The issue with taking this approach is the change in behavior is usually temporary.

We have to go to the primary cause of the behavior if we want lasting results and that is the paradigm.

When you focus on creating new paradigms that are aligned with the results you desire, your behavior will change, and the results will change.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Change in their paradigm, one that is aligned with their goals, their ideal life and the best version of themselves.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

No specific tools, it’s about reprogramming the mind.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

My message would be you can create the life you truly want, you don’t have to settle.

It starts with upgrading your thinking, shifting your perception around who you are and what you are capable of achieving, and creating better paradigms that will support you in achieving what you want.

Get your hands on time tested and proven personal development material, and link arms with a coach who can help you properly apply that knowledge so you can understand how to effectively use your mind and your higher mental facilities to manifest the life you desire.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

The quote by Jim George comes to mind for this question: “It’s not how you start that’s important, but how well you finish!”

My start was a rough one.

I was a single, homeless mom at a very young age.

I used to sleep in a car which was quite a low point in my life.

A few years later I escaped from a physically abusive relationship, I used to work 3 jobs just to make end meet which meant I was seeing my children at the crack of dawn and a few short hours before their bedtime.

Needless to say during these dark years of my life, I could not see a better future.

The way things were going it seemed like this would be my way of life, a life riddled with struggle.

Where I am today, almost 10 years later is very far from where I used to be, and I would have never imagined life to be this way.

By my definition, I am successful.

I am genuinely happy, I am surrounded by people who support and appreciate me for who I am, my family is healthy, and I have been blessed with a spouse who is my biggest fan, cheerleader, and very supportive.

I am in a business where I not only get to enjoy time and money freedom, but I get to show people all around the world how they can create the life they want.

So, It’s truly not how you start, but how well you finish and I am enthusiastic about what’s to come for me.

Your final thoughts?

Thank you for this opportunity to share with your readers.
