Find Life Coach | Meet Eve Voyevoda: How to Brand Yourself and Show Up Fearlessly

Eve Voyevoda is one of the coaches we found and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her fearless approach that can help anyone break out of their shell and show up. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Eve Voyevoda:

Name: Eve Voyevoda
Pillar: The Spirit
Who is this coach for: Female entrepreneurs and coaches who want to boost their confidence, especially those who struggle showing up on video.
How they can help: Help you face you fears by getting in front of camera.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

Thank you, we are all doing well.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

I work with women. Homeschooling and the lack of time affected female entrepreneurs, coaches and experts badly.

Women are usually busy with business, family, kids, home keeping. During lockdowns, many of my clients had to slow down their businesses.

During the pandemic, more businesses moved online. Therefore, people need some help with video and personal branding more than ever.

So my new courses like visibility challenge and personal consultancy are thriving. The old “one to one” programs are in the rebranding mode.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

I’ve learned how to enjoy life and be in the moment. How to focus on the now and do your best now.

At the beginning of the pandemic, I was asking myself, what should I do to have no regrets, even if it’s my last day on Earth. That helped me to focus on important things.

I did a lot of self reflection last year, perhaps I’m a different person now.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I’ve been in the branding and advertising industry for over 20 years. It was a long journey from the freelance designer to Creative director and then own business.

During my career I was coaching my clients, helping them to get more visible and more confident. But for a while, I didn’t see it as a separate service, it was a part of my job.

In 2014 I convinced the branding agency I worked in, to set coaching and consulting as a separate service.

In 2017 coaching is a big part of my own business.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

I was trying to find myself from age 12. When I studied in the school of Arts and then in the Academy of Arts, I was told, “You need to find yourself”.

I was curious to know more about it and always eager to discover my true self. It was a necessary part of the personal branding journey every artist should go through.

In 2008 I moved to India to become a Creative Director in an international branding agency. At the same time, I started my first experiments with blogging. I dreamt to add videos to it, I loved photography and design I thought it would be easy. However, I was always “a girl behind the camera”.

I knew how to brand TV channels and design TV studios. I was a commercial photographer for some time and created a few ideas for TV ads. Yet, I was so afraid to show up and be myself. In fact, I had no idea who I truly am.

I was camera shy.

I thought, my accent is bad therefore people will think I’m stupid. I hated how I look on camera, I told myself I’m too fat, not beautiful. I didn’t know how to make eye contact with the camera. I knew I need it but I have no clue where to start.

My first video for the public speaking course took 148 takes. That was the only video I filmed from 2008 to 2012. I was sabotaging myself for four years. I was buying more equipment, taking more courses, doing anything else but video.

In 2012 I took my first video challenge and that changed everything. I started practicing video almost daily. I combined this practical knowledge with my experience in branding, photography and videography.

And in 2019 I created my own Visibility Challenge. In this program, I use live video to help my clients to overcome camera shyness and speak confidently.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I help people to overcome their visibility fears and using live video as one of the main tools. I combine teaching, coaching, consulting, brand development in my programs.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I help people to face their visibility fears using video.

I help them to work on very deep levels so that they understand the roots of their fears. As they see their fears, we can choose the most effective methods for the best results.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

After my programs, my clients become more confident. Many of them said they were able to find their true self.

They learn how to speak publicly and on video. They discover how to build an emotional connection with their customers using storytelling. More importantly, they understand how to build their brand online.

One of my students had a huge fear of public speaking for over 50 years. Two weeks after my program, she was interviewed on the radio show. Within a year, she was speaking on stage. Also, now she is going live every week.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

I love to use Trello and Google Drive to organize my content with my clients.

And I use Pinterest as an inspirational tool for them.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Find yourself! Brand yourself! Show Up fearlessly! Your story worth it, your people need your talent!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

Always choose to act from the abundance of love, don’t act out of fear, it limits you.

You see if you ask yourself “Where will I find clients?” it’s a fear mentality. You can choose to ask yourself “How can I help more people today?” it’s an abundance mentality.

Your final thoughts?

We are living in a difficult time that has shown many of us who we truly are.

I see it as an advantage, we can reflect on fears in a critical situation. Living under tremendous pressure makes people stronger. It’s a matter of choice we can choose to live in the fear, it’s easy.

It’s easy to be disappointed, it is a tough choice to be disciplined, challenge yourself daily to grow. After all, each of us makes our own choice and are responsible for it.

I choose to look on the brighter side, enjoy what I have rather than complain about what I am missing at the moment. Stay strong, my friends!
